Good Morning And Win Today, Win Tomorrow And Win Forever!

On Friday, October 30, 2026, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Lagos, Nigeria, was filled with worship, prayer and expectation as believers gathered for The SCOAN Special Vigil With Pastor Evelyn Joshua. Hearts were lifted in reverence and thanksgiving as worshippers from different parts of the world joined together to seek the face of the Lord and experience His divine presence.

Drawing inspiration from Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God,” the congregation was encouraged to quiet their hearts before the Lord, surrender every distraction and prepare to receive His blessings, mercy and favour. With faith and expectation, worshippers looked forward to a divine encounter with God.

As the service commenced, worshippers were encouraged to pray for the removal of every barrier and hindrance that might prevent them from receiving from God’s throne of grace.

The SCOAN Special Vigil: The SCOAN Choir

The SCOAN Choir ushered the congregation into a beautiful atmosphere of worship, singing, “Be Lifted High/Oh Lord, Be Lifted High/For You Are Holy/Righteous And Worthy!” Hearts were lifted in adoration as worshippers acknowledged the holiness and greatness of God.

In a song composition by Prophet T.B. Joshua, the congregation continued worshipping with, “Your Spirit In My Heart, Cries Naturally/Abba, Father/Take My Heart Away From Fleshly Desires/Abba, Father.” The song expressed a heartfelt desire for a closer relationship with God and freedom from fleshly desires.

The atmosphere of praise continued as worshippers celebrated God’s unfailing faithfulness and mighty works. Like David, who danced before the Lord with all his might, the congregation was encouraged to clap, sing and rejoice in the goodness of God.

The worship reached another joyful moment as the choir sang, “I Go Dey Follow You Dey Go Oh!” Worshippers around the world were encouraged to join in, declaring their commitment to follow God.

Indeed, wherever believers gathered, distance was no barrier to the move of God.

From Years Of Pain To A New Beginning!

Here is her testimony:

Helen had battled severe waist and body pain since 2016. For ten years, she had sought medical help from different hospitals and taken various medications, but the pain persisted, leaving her unable to carry out even simple household chores without assistance.

On October 25, 2026, she came to The SCOAN and received prayer on the Prayer Line. Immediately, the pain vanished! Back home, she was able to cook by herself, something she had struggled to do for years.

Testifying to her healing, Helen joyfully recounted, “I slept like a baby.”

With a heart full of gratitude, she encouraged the people: “Don’t run from God; run to Him.”

A Troubled Mind Finds Peace!

Here is her testimony:

Furthermore, Esther struggled with recurring nightmares, negative and suicidal thoughts, as well as anger, all of which strained her relationships with family and friends.

She had become withdrawn, frustrated and constantly overwhelmed by her struggles. Even her relationship with her brother had deteriorated, as she often found herself reacting with anger.

The SCOAN Special Vigil: Testimonies (October 30, 2026)

Knowing she needed help, Esther came to The SCOAN and received prayer on October 25, 2026. After the prayer, she described feeling lighter and testified that the nightmares and suicidal thoughts had stopped.

She also reconnected with her mother and experienced a change in her attitude towards others.

Testifying to her new beginning, Esther encouraged those going through difficult times, saying, “Don’t allow your present situation to determine your future.”

Mercy Preserved From Harm In A Road Accident!

Here is her testimony:

Mercy began her testimony on October 3, 2026, by thanking God for His mercy and protection. A few months after losing her mother, she had become troubled by what she described as the spirit of death.

Consequently, she turned to The SCOAN for divine intervention, where she received prayers on the Prayer Line and obtained Anointing Water and a Sticker.

However, when she later encountered a road accident, she remarkably emerged as the only occupant of the vehicle without injuries.

Testifying to God’s protection, Mercy expressed her gratitude and encouraged others to put their faith in God, saying, “There is the power of God in the Anointing Water and Sticker.”

The SCOAN Special Vigil: The Privilege Of Prayer

LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: The Privilege Of Prayer

Pastor Evelyn Joshua took her place on the altar for the sermon, warmly appreciating the congregation for attending the Special Live Vigil. She then declared, “The oil of gladness and peace will not dry from your head, in the name of Jesus!”

She announced the title of her sermon as THE PRIVILEGE OF PRAYER, with Isaiah 57:15-16, Psalm 145:18-19 and Hebrews 4:15-16 as her proof texts.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua explained, “God speaks to us through His Word by His Spirit. A Christ-like life is a life of service. It is a privilege to approach the God of the universe. You have the privilege to approach Your Father today because someone has opened the way.”

She further taught, “To commune with God, you must have something to tell Him.” She made reference to John 16:24, “ask and you may receive, so that your joy may be full. God Almighty promised to revive the lonely in spirit.” Also referencing Psalm 51:9-11: “A plea, a demand from someone who knows the privilege of prayer. If the Spirit of God is taken away from you, what is left? Emptiness. When your heart is empty, you are very empty.”

The Power and Purpose of Prayer in Every Season

On the importance of prayer, she said, “We pray to obtain mercy and favour from God; that is the reason we pray. Referencing 1 Thessalonians 5:17, pray without ceasing. Prayer is the opening of your heart to God as your genuine friend. In times of adversity, challenges and prosperity, pray. You need to pray so that you do not become boastful or proud, thinking it is your own doing. Pray so that you do not become a prey for satan.”

She continued, “Pray at all times. The Bible says that the earth was corrupt, as it is today. We pray to obtain mercy and favour from God. You will find favour in the eyes of God. Be awake. You cannot be sufficient on your own because you have no power of your own. He promised to be with you.”

Approaching God with Faith, Perseverance and Thanksgiving

Pastor Evelyn Joshua also reminded the congregation, “When you are going into prayer have it in your mind that someone is with you. Jesus Christ was prepared for prayer, He taught His disciples how to pray. If you are looking for a Comforter, Roadmap, Jesus is there. The darkness of the evil one will not enclose, harm you.”

In conclusion, Pastor Evelyn Joshua said, “The privilege you have in prayer is the key in the hand of faith. Persevere in your prayer. Believing – that is your connection to prayer. Cling to the promise He has left you, and you will receive your blessing. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction. Referencing 1 Peter 4:7, be alert with a sober mind. Keep away from every impurity, and let us come into the presence of God with thanksgiving and praise. He hears the cry of those who call on Him, so do not relent or be discouraged.”

She encouraged the congregation, saying, “Tonight is a night to silence your critics. Be ready to pray. Receive a touch from Heaven. Prepare to receive.”

The SCOAN Special Vigil: Laying Of Hands (October 30, 2026)

Pastor Evelyn Joshua

As God’s servant, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, ministered to the congregation through the laying on of hands, she reminded worshippers of God’s power to heal, deliver and restore. Similarly, Mark 16:18 and Acts 8:17 provide biblical examples of the laying on of hands as a demonstration of God’s power.

The SCOAN Evangelists

The SCOAN evangelists also joined the woman of God in ministering prayers to the congregation. United in faith, they prayed for healing, deliverance and a divine turnaround in every situation in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Moreover, Acts 28:8 recounts how Paul prayed for Publius’ father and laid his hands on him, after which he recovered from his illness. This served as an encouragement that God remained able to intervene in the lives of those who looked to Him.

As the ministration continued, the congregation remained confident in Jesus Christ, knowing that distance could never limit God’s power. Furthermore, the ministers recalled the words of Prophet T.B. Joshua: “Faith is a firm expectation that God will perform all He has promised us in Christ Jesus.”
