Thankful for yet another Sunday in the house of the Lord, the people praised their Creator from the depths of their hearts as they exalted the Ancient Of Days who has no equal. Realising that the extent of their thanksgiving was the extent of their blessings, they had opened the service with prayer and thanksgiving in song. “Great Is Thy Faithfulness!” sang Esther of The SCOAN Sunday School to the accompaniment of a classical orchestra as she called down the Host Of Heaven. As the ministration went on, congregants joined The SCOAN Choristers to extol the work of their unfailing Helper. “Oluranlowo, You Are My Helper!” they declared, turning their gazes toward the abode of their Saviour, Protector, Deliverer and Redeemer. In another composition from The SCOAN repertoire, the people of God appealed to the Almighty: “Liberate My Spirit!” In time, the force of the Holy Spirit saturated the atmosphere, causing many to submit to the anointing.

“As you all know, God does nothing without His Word,” Evangelist David reminded the people as he climbed on the altar for the sermon. He took his proof text from Genesis 37:5-9 before announcing his sermon title as “Reposition Yourself; Keep The Focus”.

“The roadmap to your future success is not a bed of roses,” he warned the people while urging them to run with purpose in the race of life. He cited biblical characters such as Joseph, Noah, and Abraham who envisioned their future and lived it as reality even before its physical manifestation. “Their vision imparted strength in them to endure their present situation,” he observed.

Accordingly, Evangelist David charged the people not to view the present from the human perspective but to follow through their vision with God’s Word as a guide. “When we are anxious,” he continued, “we will not be able to differentiate between God’s supplies and satan’s bait.”

Citing Philippians 4:7-8, which reads “Whatsoever things are true, just, honest, pure, of good report, think of these,” Evangelist David further charged congregants to take time to reposition themselves and keep the focus while bracing themselves for the battles that precede the blessings. He concluded with these words of encouragement to God’s people: “Faith doesn’t look at the storm; it looks at the One who calms the storm.”

And They Made God Their Hiding Place!
Before laying hands on the people, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Heavenly Father, gracious God, we thank You. Jesus Christ, we praise You. Holy Spirit, we welcome You. Father, we thank You for Your love, peace, mercy, goodness, and all that awaits us here today. Almighty God, we have come with anticipation, knowing that You are here and we are safe and secured in Your hands.

Father Jesus, renew our strength and minds as we prepare to receive Your helping hands in our situations. Father God, keep the oil in our lamp burning, in the name of Jesus Christ. We confess that You are our hiding place, and you will protect us, guide us, be with us, and You will surround us with songs of victory, joy, and praises, in the name of Jesus Christ.”

At the Prayer Line, Pastor Evelyn Joshua went into the midst of the people to stand in the gap for those who had come with various issues and conditions. As she laid anointed hands on them, every burden of the body and mind submitted to the authority in the name of Jesus Christ.

Some pregnant women were also among the recipients of prayer – and God manifested Himself mightily in their lives.

The woman of God was joined by The SCOAN Evangelists, who also claimed the authority in the name of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost, backed by the unchangeable Word of God.

As God’s servants moved around the auditorium, the unfathomable force of the Holy Spirit permeated the roots of issues in the people’s lives, exposing the activities of the devil and his agents and freeing the people from bondage of every sort.

Similarly, during the One-On-One session, the Right Hand of God fell upon every stubborn case for the ultimate glory of the Trinity! Thank You, Jesus Christ!

They Took Dominion In The Spirit!
“Take dominion in the spirit,” Evangelist James tells congregants at the start of the Mass Prayer session.

Evangelist James prayed: “You demon, you evil spirit tormenting my life, family, career – I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist Ope prayed: “You spirit of affliction – anywhere you are, I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”

Joining the Mass Prayer session, Pastor Evelyn Joshua told congregants: “Ask God to keep you away from the company of sinners, mockers, scoffers.”

The woman of God assured the people, “Your problem does not embarrass Christ Jesus.” She charged them: “Continue to pray against every plan and desire of your enemies.” She prayed: “Let every plan and desire of the enemy in your life be destroyed, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua carried on praying: “By the power that healed the man at the Beautiful Gate, be healed today, in the name of Jesus Christ!” She then decreed upon the people: “Receive the favour of God into your life!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua turned to viewers all over the world: “Wherever you are, wherever you are watching us from – right now, come against every infirmity that stands against you, that causes limitation, shortcoming.” The man of God declared: “In the name of Jesus, I order that spirit to go – that spirit of stealing, killing and destruction. I order that spirit out of your career, business, finances, in the mighty name of Jesus!”

Testimonies
Yoke Of Family Idol Broken
Right from childhood, Yami’s life had been marked by a series of unpleasant experiences, including constant nightmares and strange dreams in which she saw frightening snakes. In real life, she was troubled by relentless headaches and other bodily disturbances. Behind Yami’s troubles were the idols of her family. “At some point, I became depressed and suicidal,” Yami opened up during her testimony on October 6, 2024. She went on, “Later, I had to be taken to a psychiatric home where various professionals did their best for me.” In the end, however, it was the Spirit of God that took ultimate control, after Yami received prayer during the deliverance session of The SCOAN Sunday Service. “Since Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me, I have been free from nightmares and depressive thoughts,” she smiled radiantly. “Have faith in God and continue praying with Emmanuel TV,” she advised others.

Let Go By Kidnappers Because Of The Anointing!
One fateful day in Lagos State, Nigeria, Princess was kidnapped and taken to a forest in Badagry, a suburban part of the state. As the kidnappers rained down blows on their victims, one of them felt prompted to inquire about Princess’ religious affiliations after finding a SCOAN material on her. “I told them I was a worshipper at The SCOAN,” she said on October 6, 2024, during her testimony. On her had been the publication Mouthpiece of God. “Subsequently, they isolated me from the rest; in fact, they described me as untouchable and said that they didn’t want to incur the wrath of the God of Prophet TB Joshua and Pastor Evelyn Joshua,” she continued. While others were being beaten up, Princess continued to pray for God’s intervention. “All of a sudden, they came to me with some money and asked me to go,” Princess said with a broad smile on her face. She advised people to keep their trust in God.

Destructive Family Idol Dethroned!
On both sides of Friday’s family, the worshipping of idols was a common factor. He would participate in the propitiation of the idols alongside his parents, bringing them food and drink. “I thought those idols would bless me with goodies,” he said on October 6, 2024, “but they afflicted me with many issues later in life.” Friday was burdened by the spirit of anger and would flare up at the slightest provocation. “I engaged in stealing and lost focus in life,” he admitted. He lost interest in his studies and slipped into drug and alcohol use as well as other immoral acts. Yet, the more his unhappy mother prayed for him, the more Friday indulged in his wayward activities. Having dropped out of secondary school in his final year, Friday’s life was certainly headed for destruction. But a divine encounter altered his trajectory. “I came to The SCOAN and a liberating touch from an evangelist changed my story,” he told the church. After the demons in him had confessed their atrocities, they fled from him forever. Now, God’s Spirit dwells in Friday’s heart, the ancestral idols having been dethroned. “I am now a new creature,” he asserted. His mother confirmed the testimony. “Whatever your children are going through, run to God,” she advised.

Testimony After-Service
During the Mass Prayer session, this man testified of his healing from severe heartburn. “It started after repeated dreams in which I ate food,” he told the congregation. “I no longer have chest pain,” he disclosed. “Thank You, Jesus!” he declared.
