“Who Is Like Unto Thee, O Lord!” sang the congregation as they started to exalt the God of all flesh during the second SCOAN Sunday Service of April 2024. They extolled the One who is glorious in holiness, fearful in praises and who always does wonders in the lives of His people. They hailed Him as Yahweh Sabaoth even as they celebrated His capacity to make dry bones rise again, as recorded in Ezekiel 37:4-9. Thus was the atmosphere in The SCOAN Auditorium prepared for the Heavenly Host as congregants awaited the sermon and the healing as well as deliverance sessions.

Evangelist James read from John 14:27 and announced his sermon title as “PEACE, GOD’S GIFT TO YOU”. The passage read: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” He started by reminding the people that walking with God does not imply the absence of crises. Responding to crises as God wants us to, he said, is what matters. And how best to respond to them, he explained, is reaching for the Cross, where Jesus Christ paid the supreme price.

With regard to Hebrews 13:8, Evangelist James urged the people to avoid worrying about circumstances and giving in to fear, which weakens determination and willpower, stops them from asking for forgiveness and stops them from admitting their faults. “Fear exists in different forms,” he noted – “fear of loss, failure, poverty, false accusation, sickness and rejection.” While it may be natural to feel fear at times, Christians are not to entertain it; accordingly, they are to accept the supernatural peace that Jesus Christ offers, for He knows that we will have trouble in this world. “The peace of conscience we derive from walking with the Lord,” the evangelist stated, “produces internal joy, security, assurance of life, and ease of heart.”

Evangelist James therefore reiterated the need for God’s people to embrace peace as found in Jesus Christ. In his words: “When you feel the stress of life, allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with Jesus’ peace. Keep your thoughts on God and your trust in him. Trust Him alone, and let His peace rule in your heart.”

Set Free For The Glory Of The Lord!

“Emmanuel!” greeted Pastor Evelyn Joshua as she joined the people for the Prayer Line ministration.

The woman of God prayed: “Father Lord God of the Heavens, here are Your children. They have come to seek Your face. Reveal Yourself to them, in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, just as our faces are different, so also are our problems different, but You know them all. Father, touch every one of us today for testimony, in the name of Jesus Christ! You alone can do it, and so they have run to You. Stretch forth Your hand and set them free today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Freedom to Your life! Freedom to Your soul! Freedom to your body! Freedom to your spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ! Thank You, Lord! Thank You, Father!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua then proceeded to the Prayer Line section to minister to cases of difficulty in walking, lumbar spondylosis, goitre, skin disease, hernia, swollen belly, severe waist pain, insomnia, difficulty in urinating, and arm fracture.  

The woman of God also prayed for pregnant women seeking divine cover for their priceless treasures. Some other women had uterine and cervical cancer, as well as other issues. To the glory of God, all of their cases were eliminated!

According to Prophet TB Joshua, “A steadfast look to the Great Physician will never look in vain.” As The SCOAN Evangelists ministered alongside Pastor Evelyn Joshua, this saying was true for those suffering from asthma, kidney infection, alcohol addiction, convulsions, swollen scrotum, neck tumour, and mental disorder, etc., for they received healing and deliverance for the salvation of their souls.

There were also demonic confessions galore as God’s servants moved further into The SCOAN Auditorium, as well as the Overflow Section, to minister upon the people.

For the past 20 years, this woman could not sleep without a sedating machine. Today, to the glory of the Lord, a touch sanctioned by Heaven has caused her to fall asleep! “Now I feel happy, light and renewed,” she said on waking up. Testifying alongside the woman was her brother, who also received his healing from difficulty in walking. “I feel good,” he said.

Their Day Of Restoration!

At the start of the Mass Prayer session, Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the people, “Don’t be overwhelmed by your situation, because God is on the throne.” She asked them to assert: “Today is the day of my deliverance! Today is the day of my victory! Today is the day of my blessing, healing, salvation, in the name of Jesus Christ!” The woman of God cited Psalm 23 and pronounced upon the people: “May you continue to live in abundance, in the name of Jesus Christ! May you continue to live in fruitfulness, in the name of Jesus Christ! May you continue to live in plenty, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua further prayed: “May every turbulence in your life today be calm, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every raging storm in your life today, be calm, in the name of Jesus Christ! May every trouble, in and out of your life today be calm, in the name of Jesus Christ! May your soul be restored! May your life be restored! May your marriage be restored! May your health be restored! May your finances be restored! May your career be restored! May your job be restored,  in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Continuing the prayer session, the woman of God told the people to place their hands on any affected part of their body, and declare: “I refuse to be sick! I reject sickness! I reject affliction!”

She again declared upon them: “Every affliction within you – be loosed, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every entanglement – be loosed, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every disease – be loosed, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be healed from pain, disease, affliction! Be loosed! In the name of Jesus, by the Blood of Jesus, and by the power of the Holy Ghost! Sin’s power over your life, be loosed, in the name of Jesus Christ! Sin’s power over your life – be broken, in the name of Jesus Christ! Sin’s power over your family – be broken, in the name of Jesus Christ! Sins’ power over your children – be broken, in the name of Jesus Christ! Sin’s power over your job – be broken, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

For viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “So, right now, we command every limitation out, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every limitation in your life – out, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every family curse, we command them out, in the name of Jesus! Stagnation in progress, we command them out, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every unworthy relationship, companion, distorting your plans, we command them out now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every unworthy companion, disorganising your plans – we command them out, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every manipulative power – we ask them to bow down right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive your freedom, healing, deliverance, breakthrough! Breakthrough in every area of your life – financial breakthrough, career breakthrough! In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray! Thank You, Jesus!”

Evangelist James told the people: “Every unclean spirit stealing from your life – command them out, in the name of Jesus! That unclean spirit, family idol, ancestral spirit – command them out, in the name of Jesus! That familiar spirit tormenting your life, family, frustrating your effort – command them out, in the name of Jesus!” He also urged them to declare: “You familiar spirit frustrating my effort – out!”

Evangelist Chisom told the people to declare: “You unclean spirit, you are darkness; anywhere you are operating in my life, family – I command you, in the name of Jesus – out! Where the light of God is, darkness has no hiding place! You darkness in my life, family, where can you go from the light of God? I command you by the light of God – out!”

Evangelist Ope urged congregants to declare: “You spirit, I call you by your name, anywhere you are; you spirit of affliction, I call you by your name, anywhere you are – Holy Ghost Fire!”

Evangelist Joseph prayed: “Every spirit operating in your life, causing you cycle of limitation, delay in your progress, blocking your breakthrough, every spirit, that ancestral spirit caging you in darkness, hindering your breakthrough, anywhere they are – out!” He further told them: “Those unclean spirits blocking your breakthrough, destiny, those ancestral spirit, anywhere they are,

evil spirit caging you down in bondage – command them out!” The people also prayed: “You evil spirit hindering my future, you darkness against my career, evil spirit, ancestral spirit caging me down in limitation, anywhere you are – out!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua urged the people to pray: “Holy Spirit, rain on me Your power of deliverance!” The man of God also decreed: “Every disease in your blood, in your bones, in your tendons, in your kidneys – I command them out!”

Anointing Heals Teenager Of Severe Fire Burns!

On November 13, 2022, when teenager Chibuzor was brought to The SCOAN for prayer, he was quite a sorry case. His legs were an awful mess, as fire had consumed them during a domestic accident. “For two months we were in the hospital,” his mother recalled on April 14, 2024, “and the doctors said he might not be able to walk again.” With no improvement in sight, Chibuzor had been relieved to be brought before God for prayer. “The woman of God prayed for him and gave him the Anointing Water,” his mother told the church. In no time, Chibuzor’s burns healed perfectly and he . The teenager has now returned to school. His mother advised parents to be prayerful always. “I can do everything now,” Chibuzor asserted. He advised others to run to God in every situation.

Smelly, Grievous Ulcers Dry Up At Sight Of Anointing!

On her way to the market one day, Vivian sustained a ghastly accident. “I was taken to the hospital for treatment, but afterwards I continued to feel severe pain,” she told the church on April 14, 2024. Vivian told of how she had been unable to do anything for herself. “I had to tie cellophane around the leg anytime I needed to bathe,” she continued. Upon receiving the Anointing Water, Vivian started to minister it. “Immediately, I felt relief and now the ulcers are gone,” she testified. She advised others to stick with God.

“My Heart Is Full Of Joy!” Declares Man Delivered From Family Idol

During the deliverance session of the service of April 7, 2024, the demon in Precious confessed its atrocities. It boasted about having held down Precious in the areas of business and marriage especially. “He will never marry!” the demon fumed, further disclosing that Precious already had children by three different women. Minutes later, the demon collapsed and fled as a SCOAN evangelist commanded fire upon it. A week later, Precious returned to testify about his deliverance, flanked by his third spouse, with whom he had parted ways for no reason since September 2023. “The demon attacked my finances,” he went on, “and tried to kill me through motoring accidents.” With deliverance came clarity for Precious. A few days after, he reached out to his wife, who obliged his request to join him in The SCOAN. “I knew it was the God of Prophet TB Joshua at work,” he asserted. Now reconciled with his wife, Precious advised people to run to God for succour through prayer. His wife had undertaken a trip of several hundred kilometres to be with him in the church. According to her, a spectacular transformation has now happened to Precious. “He now behaves like a pastor,” she smiled. She advised others to be patient. “One with God is majority,” she reminded congregants. Indeed, it was a sweet moment of family reunion as man and wife embraced each other and let go of all pain of the past!

Disappointed For An Appointment With God!

As the demon in Faith was exposed by God’s Spirit during the deliverance session of the service of April 7, 2024, it transpired that a household curse had been behind Faith’s lifelong troubles. The demons claimed that they had vowed to prevent her from getting married but she had defied them and would therefore suffer for it. Of course, God’s Spirit overwhelmed the demons and they fled from Faith’s life! On April 14, Faith returned to church for her testimony. “I came from an idol-worshipping background,” she told congregants. She said that her teenage years had been marked by nightmares in which she saw snakes and other animals. “One day, I saw a strange creature moving towards me in the house,” she recalled, “and from then on I began to witness many troubles in life, including series of broken relationships.” When Faith finally managed to find a man who committed to marrying her, the devil upped the battle. “His business started to nosedive and he kept missing out on huge contracts,” she said. “He would suddenly freeze during the night and by morning clients would start to ignore his calls,” she went on. Faith explained that she and her husband had planned to leave the country but had faced disappointment from their travel agent. “He advised us to put up somewhere in Ikotun and that was how we discovered The SCOAN,” she stated. To the glory of God, Faith found herself in The SCOAN and her story is now different. She advised others to wait for God’s time. “We were disappointed for an appointment with God,” she concluded. Her husband told of how he had received his deliverance for free. “I had thought we would have to pay a huge sum for deliverance,” he said, “but God gave it to us for free!” Since then, the family has been witnessing breakthrough. Man and wife no longer experience nightmares. “I closed a deal last week while here in the church,” the husband disclosed. He advised others, “Trust in God, for He can do all things.”

Anointing Ends 24 Years Of Bed-wetting!

On March 31, 2024, Rebecca was delivered from the spirit responsible for bed-wetting! Expectedly, this affliction brought many problems to her life. “My first husband left me three years after our marriage,” she admitted on April 14, 2024. The demon causing bed-wetting also brought stealing, hot-temperedness and unruliness into Rebecca’s life. “Even my stepmother sent me away once she discovered my issues,” Rebecca disclosed. Someone then advised me to visit The SCOAN. “I didn’t know what happened to me after the woman of God touched me,” she told the world.
