“Son Of David/Have Mercy On Me!” pled congregants as they began the worship session for the service of April 7, 2024. They understood perfectly that only the Lord Almighty had made it possible for them to see yet another blessed day in His presence. As the choristers led the people in worship songs – a number of them composed by Prophet TB Joshua – the atmosphere in The Synagogue became charged with the transforming aura of the Holy Spirit. Thus, with faith in their heart, the people received mightily from the Throne Of Grace, right from the worship session through the sermon to the deliverance and Mass Prayer sessions.

With God’s Spirit having lightened the Word in their heart, the people patiently took in the message from Evangelist Joseph, who taught on the topic “IN HIS TIME”. “All things will work together for your good in His time,” he assured congregants before reading from Ecclesiastes 3:11. It was another powerful message of encouragement for God’s people, as the preacher explained the significance of waiting for God’s time in everything. He made it clear that investing time in God’s Word is the best way to learn how to wait upon Him. In his words, “The greatest gift you can give yourself is investing in the Word, rather than wasting your time complaining about your situation and envying others.”

Evangelist Joseph further assured congregants that God is never too early or too late, meaning that whatever we get from Him always comes at the best time. He illustrated this point by noting that a blessing that is too early may end up affecting a person’s life negatively. “God knows that you are not mature enough to handle some blessings,” he observed, “and that is why He delays some things from coming too early so that we do not crash and lose the little we have.” Accordingly, he noted, God directs and provides wherever He guides; in other words, the Lord always makes a way for us in the career path or life choice that He sets us on.

The evangelist therefore warned congregants against envying those who may appear to be making quicker progress. Citing biblical characters, he reminded the people: “Even when you feel qualified, allow God to determine your time for harvest.” In closing the sermon, Evangelist Joseph told the people: “As you wait earnestly for God’s appointed time, continue to work as if all depends on you and study God’s Word to build character and pray as if all depends on God.”

Because They Came, They Had Testimonies!

“I greet you all in the name of the Lord,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the people as she joined them for the Prayer Line ministration.

The woman of God read from Psalm 34:1 and declared upon the people: “Because you came, you will receive, in Jesus’ name! Because you came, it shall be well with you, in Jesus’ name! Because you came, you have testimonies.”

For all who came in faith to the Throne Of Grace, they received answers to their requests regarding difficulty in walking, asthma, addiction to drinking and smoking, leg ulcers, epilepsy, mental disorder, hernia, swollen belly, piles, kidney illness, and chronic skin disease, among others.

Moreover, several women also received prayer over issues of breech presentation, bleeding, fibroids and evil attacks.

As God Almighty used the faculties of His servants to bring healing to numerous ailments, as well as deliverance and breakthrough for all, The Arena Of Liberty teemed with the heavenly army. Indeed, not a single stubborn demon survived the divine onslaught!

And Darkness Was Dispelled!

“You are not here today by accident,” Evangelist Chisom reminded the people at the start of the Mass Prayer session. He assured them, “Your case will not escape the anointing of God.” He prayed for the people: “That spirit that steals your joy – out, in the name of Jesus!” He tells them to pray: “You unclean spirit threatening my peace, disturbing my family, business, health – enough is enough! Anywhere you are, within and without: Out!”

Evangelist Ope urged the people to pray: “You spirit standing against my progress – anywhere you are: Out!”

Evangelist Joseph urged the people to decree: “You spirit attacking my health day and night – anywhere you are, I command you: Out! You hidden sickness in my heart, kidneys, lungs, blood – I command you: Out!”

Evangelist James told the people to declare: “You chain of delay holding down my career, you chain of limitation holding down my family, you chain of poverty holding down my business – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua cited Matthew 4:1-11 on how Jesus Christ resisted the devil. She then told the people to declare: “You satan, you have no right over my life, business, family, marriage, health. I command you to loose your grip over my life, in the name of Jesus!” She told them to declare: “I am healed! I am freed! I am delivered!”

For viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Any power tormenting you – we command it out right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Any power that is not of God – we command it out of your life right now, in the name of Jesus! Anything that connects you to satan – we command it to be loosed right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive your breakthrough, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “I command you to come out of darkness, in the name of Jesus! That disease, affliction – come out! You infirmity, evil spirit – come out! Every darkness around: Out! Be healed! Be delivered! Every darkness around you – be dispelled! Lord Jesus, heal my wound outside and inside!  I command every affliction, darkness in your life: Out, in the name of Jesus! Heal me! Deliver me, Lord, so that I can hold my faith! Let there be light! I restore you, in the name of Jesus!”

Where Medicine Fails, God’s Power Takes Over!

“I command every spirit that is not of God out of your body!” declared Pastor Evelyn Joshua as she prayed for Precious, who had come to The SCOAN over a broken femur that was refusing to heal. The date was March 6, 2022. In September 2021, she had been involved in an accident on her way to work. “I regained consciousness in the hospital and the doctor told me I would spend at least a year there,” she told the church on April 7, 2024. “There was a deep wound on the leg and it remained so messy that I could barely stand it,” she continued. Even with crutches, Precious could still not move. But things changed when she started praying along with Prophet TB Joshua. “Now I needed only one crutch,” she recalled. Seeing this improvement, she asked to be brought to The SCOAN for prayer. “Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me,” she said, “and ministered the Anointing Water on me and I could stand on my own immediately.” Since receiving prayer, Precious has been walking freely for the glory of God. She advised others to put their faith in God. Her aunt glorified God for the healing. 

The Baby Who Came At God’s Command!

“Go and give birth safely; you are free,” said the evangelist to pregnant Precious on October 15, 2023, during the deliverance session of The SCOAN Sunday Service. “I was seven months pregnant when my water broke after I started coughing uncontrollably,” she said on April 7, 2024, “and doctors managed to stop the water after a while.” However, Precious subsequently had a dream in which she saw herself tied up and being flogged. “All of a sudden, an image of Prophet TB Joshua appeared as I prayed for help and those flogging me disappeared,” she went on. She then made her way to The SCOAN for prayer. Similarly, on the day of her delivery, God Almighty also intervened as Precious pushed out her baby at His command. She recalled, “During my difficult delivery, an image of Prophet TB Joshua appeared and exclaimed, ´Emmanuel!’” Today, baby Emmanuel is four months old and doing wonderfully. “Put your trust in God and He will intervene in your case,” she advised fellow women. The baby’s father advised others to believe in God.

And Juliana Breaks All Ties With The Demonic World!

On March 24, 2024, God’s power exposed the demon in Juliana during the deliverance session of The SCOAN Sunday Service. Unsettled by the force of the Holy Spirit, the demon confessed all its atrocities before fleeing from the scene. “I came from a family of idol worshippers,” she disclosed on April 7, 2024. Because no one took over the custodianship of the family idol after Juliana’s parents died, the idol exacted revenge by tormenting Juliana and other family members. The young woman dropped out of school and became rebellious. Pushed by peer pressure, she embarked on a daring trip by sea abroad. Their boat capsized on the way to Europe, but Juliana managed to survive three days on the sea. As part of the atrocities of the demons running her life, Juliana was unable to keep serious relationships and her sojourn overseas was unproductive. “I could not get documentation to regularise my stay abroad after five years,” she said. But things began to change once she found Emmanuel TV. “An image of Prophet TB Joshua appeared to me and spoke in my favour. “The following morning,” she said, “officials asked me to come for my documents.” She then made her way to The Arena Of Liberty for prayer two weeks ago. Since then, she has broken all ties with the marine world! She advised others to seek God’s help.

The Baby Who Defied The Devil And His Agents!

On October 29, 2023, pregnant Esther received prayer over many issues in her life. “I used to have dreams in which I ate various things and dead people threatened to take my life,” she thus started her testimony on April 7, 2024. Although a mother of four children already – all girls – Esther found this particular pregnancy to be a source of attack from the demonic world. “You shall not reap the fruit of your labour,” a demon had threatened her in the dream. Perhaps, the attacks were coming because the expected baby was a boy. She continued experiencing all sorts of unusual bodily changes, to the amazement of her husband and neighbours. In one dream, Esther saw someone trying to attack her with a knife. Days later, she sustained a bathroom accident involving glass breakage. Moreover, the baby was in breech and Esther had some infections. Determined not to give in to the enemy, she had made her way to The SCOAN. On the day of delivery, although the devil still tried to get in the way, Esther and her husband exercised amazing faith and God’s power put the devil in check. “I ministered the Anointing Water all over my body and fell asleep momentarily,” she said. During that brief sleep, an image of Prophet TB Joshua appeared in bright light and declared to Esther, ‘Receive!’ Instantly, the baby popped out! And doctors began to call him ‘the miracle baby or Prophet TB Joshua’s baby’! As Esther narrated her story, tears of joy trickled down her face. She and her husband advised others to trust fully in the Lord.
