The Arena of Liberty was full of excitement as congregants joined The Emmanuel TV Choir to worship and praise God in the beauty of His holiness. “O Lord We Give You Thanks/For All You Have Done/We Are So Blessed/Our Souls Have Found Rest!” they sang during the introduction. And as the worship session got in full swing, they pled to God: “Command Your Healing On Me Jesus!”
In his message, Evangelist Shina talked about the need to “LIVE BY FAITH”, drawing his proof text from Genesis 12:1-3, 7-9 and describing faith as an indispensable factor in receiving from God. Citing Abraham’s display of faith, he urged congregants to distinguish themselves from the crowd of faithless people. “You must break free from the unbelieving crowd and start living a life of faith,” he said.
Evangelist Shina stressed the need to act on the Word in order to get God’s attention. He said, “Faith comes when the Word prevails over your thinking processes.” Speaking further, he explained: “God is the Source where faith rests; faith does not rest in itself. Faith rests on God, receives from God, responds to God, relies on God, realises God, rejoices in God and reproduces Godly character. A Christian does not live only because of faith but lives according to faith.”
In his concluding words, Evangelist Shina told the church: “When you live by faith, you will step out of your sickness and step into the goodness that Jesus Christ has provided by His death on the Cross of Calvary.”
Winning The Warfare With The Word And Water
“Father, touch their lives for healing, touch their lives for deliverance, touch their businesses for blessing, touch their careers for breakthrough and touch their families for peace and unity. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray!” Those were the words of prayer uttered by Pastor Evelyn Joshua as she joined congregants at the Prayer Line.
With the power in the Word being activated by the Holy Spirit during the ministration of the New Anointing Water, hundreds of congregants received relief, deliverance and breakthrough in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. There was no hiding place for foul spirits or for urinary tract infection, piles, skin disease, asthma, swollen belly, goitre, tuberculosis, blood cancer, anal growth and ulcers, etc.
Along with the woman of God, the evangelists also called down heavenly grace with prayerful ministration of the New Anointing Water.
Prayer That Transcends Boundaries
Before starting the Mass Prayer session, Pastor Evelyn Joshua read from John 16:23, the passage in which Jesus tells the people they will get anything they ask the Father in His own name. “Begin to set yourselves free,” she told congregants.
“I command every sickness in your body to get out right now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!” prayed the woman of God. She added, “Receive your healing, breakthrough, freedom, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!”
Evangelist James told congregants: “All unclean spirits operating in your life, marriage family—command them out! Whatever area of your life that is giving you sleepless nights, that is causing you nightmares—release yourself, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Evangelist Chisom told congregants to pray: “You unclean spirit, you evil spirit, anywhere you are hiding—I say, “Come out! Thou power of deliverance, fall upon me!” He also prayed, “In the name of Jesus, anywhere you are experiencing sickness—out!”
Evangelist Joseph told congregants: “Every disease in your body—command it: Out!” He also prayed: “Every yoke of sickness—be broken!”
Evangelist Ope told congregants: “That yoke of sickness stealing your finances—command it out! Every closed door to your breakthrough, career, blessings—command it to be opened right now in the name of Jesus!”
In a Mass Prayer clip, Prophet T.B. Joshua told congregants: “Every spirit that causes you shame, reproach, failure, barrenness—begin to loose yourself right now!” He also prayed: “Deliver them from that spirit, in the name of Jesus! Whatever deadly disease in your system—I command it out, in the name of Jesus!”

Baby In Breech Delivered Without Surgery!
As at December 5, 2021, just a couple of weeks before her due date, Blessing was still disturbed by the knowledge that the baby in her womb was not properly positioned. He was in a sitting position. Having tried all that she could at that time, Blessing decided to come for prayers at The SCOAN. On that December 5, she had been among those who received prayer over their pregnancy complications. Of course, Blessing did not want surgery. Before coming to the church, she had had a dream in which Prophet T.B. Joshua and Pastor Evelyn Joshua made a prophetic declaration to her on her impending delivery. Blessing told her pastor about the dream, and he told her it was a sign that God was about to answer her prayer. On receiving prayer from Pastor Evelyn Joshua, Blessing vomited the poisonous substances in her system and instantly became relieved. On returning home, she had another dream in which she saw Pastor Evelyn Joshua assure her that death was not going to be her portion.
By the evening of December 22, labour began. When asked if surgery should start, Blessing told the doctor, “I have the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua and Pastor Evelyn Joshua.” And in that very instant her water broke! Moved by Blessing’s faith in God and by the Mass Prayer of Prophet T.B. Joshua playing on Blessing’s phone, the doctor and the nurses joined in praying for a safe delivery. First, the legs came, then the buttocks. But the baby’s head remained inside. Rather panicky, the doctor invited Blessing’s mother into the labour room. After further prayers, the baby popped out fully. This was around 1 a.m. of December 23, 2021. Owing to the difficult birth process, the baby had come out weak, almost lifeless. Before the doctor could start blaming Blessing for the situation of things, however, Blessing handed her the New Anointing Water, which she instantly ministered on the baby. Immediately, a happy scream came from the baby, for his life had been restored in the name of Jesus Christ! Before ending her testimony on May 29, 2022, Blessing quoted John 14:6 as she told the church: “There is nothing God cannot do. The healing remains the same. The blessings remain the same. He is a God who will never forsake us.” Blessing’s mother, Comfort, thanked God for not putting her family to shame. Blessing’ sister, Faith, also corroborated the testimony. “I thank God we didn’t lose her or the baby,” she said.
Set Free For Breakthrough In The Name Of Jesus Christ!
During the service of Sunday, 22 May 2022, the contrary spirit in Bright had manifested for several minutes, confessing that it was on an assignment to ruin the young man’s life. But of course, the Spirit of God eventually hushed up that contrary spirit. Testifying the following Sunday, Bright told of how he had come from a family of idol worshippers. He had in fact inherited the paraphernalia of masquerade worship from his father. From a very young age, Bright used to see some dwarf-like figures who constantly spoke to him, inviting him to their dark world. At one time, Bright’s father took him for apprenticeship under a powerful witch doctor. On that occasion, Bright saw a powerful dark figure that was not visible to others around him, including the herbalist and his own father. From then on, strange figures and animals would appear in Bright’s dreams. At one time, a horse spoke to him in the dream and gave him a phone number to call for initiation—a number that Bright remembered clearly in real life! Even in the physical, good-looking male and female figures would appear to him and invite him to join their world. Because of his refusal, however, Bright started to face serious problems with his finances and mental health. Most times, he would find himself entangled in cobwebs both in the dream and in real life.
In the search for a solution, Bright ran from pillar to post and ended up with an online witch doctor who began monitoring his life minute-by-minute. The female witch doctor forced him to part with the sum of 300 dollars that he had got just four days earlier. The witch doctor had said she needed the money to complete the process of divining the real source of Bright’s problems. Tired of it all, Bright’s wife insisted that he visit The SCOAN for prayers. “I shall walk out of this marriage if you don’t,” she had threatened. When Bright finally decided to embark on the long trip to The SCOAN from Jos, Plateau State, he faced unusual hindrances on the journey, with two buses breaking down along the way. To the glory of God, however, he managed to make the journey and attend the service in question. Since his deliverance, Bright is now a new creature who has been set aside for exploits by Jesus Christ. He advised people to strive to know God early enough. “Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour in time,” he cautioned. Bright’s wife told of how the family had suffered severe financial hardship because of her husband’s spiritual issues. Despite taking loan upon loan, Bright’s civil servant wife had seen no improvement in their finances as they lost every business they invested in. She advised people to love God. “The better you know this God, the better for you,” she declared.
“Without God, You Are Nobody!” Says Woman And Daughter Set Free From Snake Spirit
On Sunday, 22 May 2022, it was the time for Caro to be delivered from the snake spirit that had been bothering her life since childhood, her family being snake worshippers. As Caro grew up, the Togolese found that a shadowy figure used to move around with her and would sometimes appear physically. Caro’s husband, who stays in Nigeria, assured his wife that he would handle the problem. Then he asked her to come over to Nigeria. Rather than take his wife to a Bible-believing church, however, he took her to a witch doctor, who claimed to be able to separate Caro from her spirit husband. After the rituals at the witch doctor’s place, the evil spirit struck at Caro’s husband by coming in the form of a centipede that bit him on the leg. Afterwards, his body began to swell and his manhood started to disintegrate. Along the line, Caro’s daughter, Nella, was also initiated and she began to see strange things. Moreover, her business began to fail and the family became indebted. Eventually, however, Caro found The SCOAN—and her story changed, alongside her daughter’s. Following her deliverance, Caro had a dream in which she recovered all of the money that people had taken from her. On her part, Nella told of how she was initiated after being taken to a mermaid worship centre by her grandmother. She said she subsequently started getting visits from a spirit husband, who would make love to her and threaten that nobody else could have her. Regarding Nella’s education, the evil spirit would tell her not to bother since she had already been blessed with money in the marine kingdom. Even more, the evil spirit kept getting in the way by making it impossible for her to write her final examination in nursing school. As part of the story of her deliverance, Nella said that she saw Prophet T.B. Joshua deliver her from demonic spirits. The young woman advised people, “Trust in God; without Him you are nobody.” Caro herself said, “Without God, you have no life; without God, you are nobody.”
Teenager Delivered From Suicidal Marine Spirit
Carol, a teenager, was another recipient of God’s grace on Sunday, May 22, 2022, when she was set free from a marine spirit that had meant to claim her life. When she was 10 years old, Carol had had a strange encounter with a woman at the stream. The woman had caused Carol to take a blood oath with her son, whom Carol was to marry in exchange for power. Since then, the spirit boy started appearing to Carol, often getting intimate with her in the dream. In class or while walking along the road, Carol would see the spirit boy and they would engage in conversation, to the surprise of people around her. “You are not to get close to any boy,” the spirit boy threatened Carol. Stubbornly, Carol got friendly with a boy in her school and the spirit boy warned that he would kill him. The following day, Carol found that the boy had come to school with a swollen foot. Carol became afraid and began to stay away from people, frowning all the time. As time went on, she got friendly with another boy and the spirit boy threatened her again. “Today is your last day on earth,” the spirit boy boasted. Carol laughed him off, but afterwards she developed stomach pains and began vomiting. Being home only with her siblings that day, Carol found herself unable to move away from her vomit. Later on, the spirit boy appeared to her and somehow managed to make her speak with his mother over the phone. Eventually, Carol made it to the hospital and the doctor diagnosed her with appendicitis. Before the surgery, the spirit boy appeared to Carol and threatened to kill her.
Because of that, Carol began crying and pleading with the doctor not to kill her. “You will not understand,” she sobbed, when the doctor assured her that he was quite experienced. Carol survived the surgery, but she later developed ulcers. In the course of things, Carol resolved to die in place of a boy that the spirit boy had been threatening to kill. In readiness for dying, Carol began writing her suicide notes and prepared a mixture of bleach and an insecticide. To the glory of God, however, Carol received her deliverance after prayerful ministration of the New Anointing Water during the service of May 22. Since then, she has parted ways with the spirit boy, after coming into the light of Jesus Christ. Carol’s adopted father, Thomas, said he had brought her into the family to serve as a guide to his two much younger children. Upon discovering Carol’s suicide notes by chance, Thomas decided he had to bring her to church. When he finally managed to do so, God Almighty intervened and the power of deliverance fell upon the young girl. “Now she smiles and interacts with the rest of the family,” said Thomas about the changes in Carol’s life since her deliverance. Thomas advised people to pay attention to their children. Thomas’ wife, Floris, thanked God for delivering her adopted daughter. “Hold on to God,” she advised people. “Obey your parents,” Carol advised fellow children.
