On Easter Sunday 2024, The SCOAN Auditorium overflowed with congregants from all over the world as God’s Spirit overshadowed the atmosphere. The worship session started on an operatic note, with Esther performing to the accompaniment of stringed instruments. “How Great Thou Art!” she sang, causing many to express deep emotion. The SCOAN Choristers soon followed, clad in rich blue with a touch of white. “He Reigns In Power For Us/And He Still Prays For Us!” they proclaimed. The worship session also featured a song celebrating God’s constant fatherly care as the people declared along with the choir: “This Is The Way You Father Me/I Love The Way You Father Me!”

For her sermon Pastor Evelyn Joshua taught on “The Blessing That Jesus Won On The Cross”. She read from Matthew 27:50-51, but other scriptural references were Psalm 107:2, Matthew 27:46-50, John 19:30, Hebrews 5:7 and Hebrews 10:19-22. It was a compact message that emphasised the importance of Christ’s death on the Cross.

The woman of God described resurrection as a process comprising crucifixion, burial and restoration. She reminded congregants about the access to God provided for humans by the Blood of the perfect Lamb. “The Blood of Jesus,” she assured congregants, “continues to speak for your goodness.” She therefore urged the people to not only believe in the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ but to confess it constantly. In closing the message, she told the people: “If you cry out to God today, He will hear you.”

And God Moved Mightily At SCOAN 3-Day Revival Meeting

After sharing words of exhortation with the people on the significance of Resurrection Day, Pastor Evelyn Joshua introduced clips from the 3-Day Revival Meeting held at The SCOAN Prayer Mountain from March 27-29, 2024.

At the Prayer Line, the woman of God said to the people: “A man may be sick but be a friend of God. A man may be poor but be a friend of God. God will remove your affliction, your poverty. Every power in Heaven belongs to Him. The name Jesus is the name you can trust. Get prepared to be healed, freed, in the name of Jesus!”

From all over the world, people of faith assembled in The Arena Of Liberty to witness the restoration power from Jesus Christ’s resurrection, which dispelled difficulty in walking/urinating, swollen belly/legs/face, kidney stones, drug addiction, skin cancer, partial stroke, and drug addiction, etc.  

Pregnant women with multiple fibroids, breech presentation and other obstacles were also on hand to receive efficacious prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.  

Along with Pastor Evelyn Joshua, The SCOAN Evangelists ministered with anointing that broke the yoke of evil attacks, epilepsy, mental disorder, piles, leg ulcers, high blood pressure, and bed-wetting, etc.

The Lord Rebuked All Their Fears!

“Victory is yours!” Evangelist Ope declared to the people at the start of the Mass Prayer session. He told the people to pray: “Thou Son of David, by Your divine mercy and favour, every contrary spirit operating in my life, knowingly and unknowingly – I command you out, in the name of Jesus Christ! You spirit of setback, hardship – anywhere you are: Out!”

Evangelist Joseph told the people to pray: “You demon, you familiar spirit, you contrary spirit – I order you, I command you, I kick you out of my life! Every messenger of satan – anywhere you are – out!”

Evangelist James told the people: “Every sickness, every disease in your body, bones, blood – command it out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist Chisom told the people to pray: “You spirit that causes me sickness, that causes me disease – anywhere you are tormenting my body – out, in the name of Jesus! You spirit that steals from my business, finances – anywhere you are, I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the people to rebuke every fear as she cited Psalm 27. “Ask Jesus to put an end to your life of lust and alcoholism,” she told them. She prayed for them: “Receive your healing, freedom, deliverance, breakthrough, in the name of Jesus! Breakthrough in your marriage, relationship, in the name of Jesus Christ! Let all that is dead in your life arise and reign with Him! Be freed! Be delivered, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

For viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Everything that is dead within you – begin to work right now! Move, in the name of Jesus, by the Blood of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Ghost!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua prophesied to the people: “You are going to be restored to your destined position, in the name of Jesus!” He prayed: “Be restored, in the name of Jesus! Be loosed, in the name of Jesus! That sickness in your body, kidneys, liver, bones, womb, blood – be cured! By the power of resurrection, that good health, that promotion, that destined position, that destined marriage that has been taken from you – be restored, in the name of Jesus! Every dead thing, every sick part, organ – be restored, in the name of Jesus!” He also charged the people: “Disconnect your business, marriage from anything that has to do with demons, in the name of Jesus!” Finally, the man of God declared: “The sound of joy in your career, finances, the sound of breakthrough in your business, in your marital life! Breakthrough, in Jesus’ Christ’s name!”

Teenager Receives Expedited Healing For Shoulder Dislocation

On March 24, 2024, when teenager Tomiwa came for prayer in The SCOAN, it was over a shoulder dislocation that had made life difficult for her. “I couldn’t write properly in school and I was unable to eat,” she told the church a week later. Although Tomiwa’s mother had taken her to a bonesetter and orthodox doctors, the situation did not improve. To God’s glory, however, as Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for her, Tomiwa felt a sharp sensation in the affected shoulder. “From then onwards I stopped feeling the pain,” she disclosed. Now she can use her right hand as she used to do before. Her mother confirmed the healing, happy that she would no longer have to be responsible for bathing the teenager. Tomiwa advised everyone to keep faith in God.

With God’s Help, Eric Breaks Free From Addiction To Smoking!

On October 1, 2023, having acknowledged his helplessness, Eric presented himself for prayer over addiction to smoking. “At university I kept facing suspension over my addiction issues,” he told the church on Easter Sunday 2024. Despite moving abroad in a bid to escape from his shadow, as it were, Eric kept returning to Nigeria to feed his addiction. “I also drank a lot, became promiscuous and contracted different infections,” he continued. “And I barely ate,” Eric added. Then he began to get paranoid. “I started to hear different voices – from the roof and the walls of the house,” he confessed. Despite his mother’s efforts to get him to church, Eric kept playing games with her. Eventually, he made his way to The SCOAN and God’s Spirit located him for deliverance. “God has been good to me since then and I can now express my love for my family,” a grateful Eric said. “I want to continue enjoying God’s goodness,” he said. He advised other young people to avoid peer pressure that often leads to drinking, smoking and promiscuity. Delighted, Eric’s soft-spoken mother urged parents not to give up on their errant children.

Ear Blockage Ends At God’s Command!

For the last three years, Helen had been suffering from ear blockage. “If I dared to clean my two ears at once, one of them would get blocked,” she told the church on March 31, 2024. She narrated how she used to feel pain in her ears anytime she cleaned them. “I also used to feel this constant ache in my forehead,” she added. To the glory of God, Helen received her healing on the last day of the 3-day revival meeting at The SCOAN Prayer Mountain. Now all of her pain is gone! She advised people to believe in God.

Soraya Enters A New Life In Christ Jesus As Demon Of Anger Is Banished!

At the finale of the 3-Day Revival Meeting With Pastor Evelyn Joshua, Soraya experienced the touch of God. Coming from a family of idol worshippers, she was no stranger to the activities of sinister forces. “In my family once a girl starts menstruating, she must undergo a ritual involving animal sacrifice,” Soraya told the church on March 31, 2024. Unfortunately, those rituals actually caused irregular menstruation and other issues in the family. “In marriage, I constantly faced many health problems and nightmares during which a strange man had affairs with me,” she disclosed. Seizing the opportunity of the revival meeting, Soraya made her way to The SCOAN with her husband. “The Spirit of God energised me and I received my deliverance,” Soraya smiled. When Spiritual Surgery Saved Adu’s Neck!

Adu from South Africa came to the 3-Day Revival Meeting with the problem of neck stiffness. She had been trying to tend to her 95-year-old mother when she heard a snap in her neck. Unwilling to submit to immediate neurosurgical intervention, the sheriff had to accept drugs. “I was on numerous powerful medications that I had to use day and night,” she recalled passionately on March 31, 2024. She had been unable to do her job despite using a neck collar. “In fact, doctors told me that surgery was not certain to restore me to my previous state,” she added. However, God Almighty was on hand to intervene in Adu’s case. “As the evangelist prayed for me,” she recalled, “I could hear clicking sounds suggesting that my neck was being put back in order.” With excitement visible on her face, Adu demonstrated all that she had been unable to do before. She advised others to seek spiritual surgery for their problems.
