The service began with soulful worship after an opening prayer during which congregants were led to declare themselves victors. “All We Need,” sang the choristers, “Is Your Mercy And Favour, Lord!” As the worship went on, the atmosphere became charged with God’s presence – and many started to vomit the things not of God that had been inside of them.
“Beautiful people are those who mirror Christ,” noted Evangelist Ope as he got on The SCOAN Altar. What mattered to God during the creation of humankind, he said, was being a stakeholder in the divine master plan. He said that although God has a plan for everyone, each person must ensure that they play their role in fulfilling destiny by identifying their calling and working towards its fulfilment. To back up his point, he referred to John 1:9, 1 Corinthians 7:20, 1 Thessalonians 5:24 and Ephesians 4:1, 4.

Titled “YOUR CALLING”, the message focused on the true meaning of ‘calling’ and how to fulfil it while operating within God’s plan. He cited the examples of people like Abraham, Gideon, David, Luke and Zenas, who all had secular engagements through which they contributed to society’s progress while doing God’s work. He said it was necessary to identify one’s true calling and to work hard at excelling there. He told congregants: “Do you know that where God wants you to be is where His blessing is?” Where God wants you to be is where His grace is! Where God wants you to be is where His protection is!”

Evangelist Ope, therefore, encouraged the people not to let money be their motivation for embracing a calling, since prosperity does not guarantee happiness and self-fulfilment. “Don’t forget that if you are focused only on making money,” he said, quoting Prophet TB Joshua, “a large slice of life will pass you by.” But he also reminded the people that one might be engaged in one’s true calling while not immediately prospering.

On identifying one’s calling, Evangelist Ope suggested knowing God first through His Word and Spirit (Psalm 119: 105, Romans 12:2 and Proverbs 6:20-22). He concluded with these words of exhortation: “The Word of God is our road map, guide, director and database for our personal opinion as Christians. What you do through God is your calling. Whatever God accepts you to do through Him is your calling. Destiny or calling, no matter how small – it is greatness! Fulfil your calling!”

Again, The Windows Of Heaven Were Opened!
At the Prayer Line, where many from all over the globe had assembled in faith, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Father Lord God Of Heaven, the God of all times and things, we praise You that in Christ Jesus You have come to share with us all that is for us. Almighty God, we praise You that in Christ Jesus You have come to share with us all that the world means to us so that by Your grace we can enter into what Heaven is with You.
We thank You for your forgiving power which has cleansed us from our selfishness, our sinful life. Almighty God, we give You praise for the love, the truth that gives us hope! We ask You, O Lord, to remould us, fill our emptiness, heal our brokenness, in the name of Jesus Christ! Father, we ask You to open the windows of Heaven and let Your blessings reign on us today, in Jesus’ name!”
Regarding one of the testimonies shared earlier, Pastor Evelyn Joshua assured the male testifier who said he was looking for “the love of my life” that the said young woman was fine and being supported by The SCOAN to start a new life. But she also reminded him to be cautious: “Is she really your woman? You have to do the needful. Right now, you have come and received your own deliverance – which makes it beautiful.”

The woman of God then moved among congregants to pray for them on cases of asthma, difficulty in walking, fractures, severe waist pain, muscle spasm, piles, epilepsy, drug, addiction, diabetes, impotence, chronic anaemia, intestinal disorder, ceased menstruation, and indigestion, etc.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua equally committed pregnant women into God’s hands.

The SCOAN Evangelists also ministered prayers to heal, deliver and bless the people for the ultimate salvation of their souls. Indeed, there was no hiding place for demons as the aura of the Holy Spirit dispelled every untoward thing in the lives of the people!
And All Their Cases Were Settled!

At the start of the Mass prayer session, Evangelist Chisom urged the people to declare, “I am happy because I know my case is settled!” He cited John 1:5 and prayed for the people: “You darkness, anywhere you are, let there be light! You demon, unclean spirit – anywhere you are: Out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist James told congregants: “That familiar spirit stealing from your life, robbing you of your joy – command it out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist Ope told the people to pray: “Every hidden sickness in my body – anywhere you are: Out!”

Evangelist Joseph told congregants to pray: “You spirit blocking my breakthrough, ancestral spirit limiting my progress – I command you: Give way, in the name of Jesus!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the people: “Rebuke those spirits reminding you of your failures and disappointments.” She prayed for them: “Every family curse in your life, every spirit of stagnation, failure, disappointment – be gone, in the name of Jesus Christ! Father, touch Your children today and let them receive according to Your grace. Be healed of that infirmity! Be delivered from that yoke, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

For viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Every chain, embarrassment, shame in your life – be it in your family, marriage, health, job, career – be removed, in the name of Jesus Christ! Everything that binds you to ungodliness – be removed, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua decreed: “Every spirit that is holding you down financially, spiritually, morally, socially – loose your grip, in the name of Jesus! That sickness in your blood, kidneys – quit, in the name of Jesus! Every unfavourable situation – I command it to cease, in the name of Jesus! Be it in your business, finances, family, career, health – cease, in the name of Jesus Christ! Good Morning to your business, career, health, finances, marriage! It is a new dawn!”

Couple Freed From Bondage Of Osteoarthritis!
On Sunday, October 22, 2023, Ijeoma and her husband were in church for prayers over the problem of difficulty in walking. In April last year, while at her shop, a man had approached her with the claim of being able to cure her of arthritic pain. As demanded by the man, Ijeoma got raw eggs and perfume for some strange rituals on her ailing right knee. Although the man had promised not to charge her any money, he ended up demanding the sum of 12,000 naira and other items after supposedly sucking out poisoned blood from her knee. “If you don’t give me what I want, you will experience even more pain,” the man threatened when Ijeoma wasn’t producing any money. In panic, she managed to find some items for the man but by the following day her left knee started to hurt mercilessly. Realising that she had willingly walked into trouble, Ijeoma ran to The Arena Of Liberty to seek the face of Jesus Christ. As Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered to her, Ijeoma felt the raw impact of God’s power. Now she can do everything that she had been unable to do before. “Be mindful of where you seek solutions; put your faith and trust only in the Lord,” she advised others. Her husband, Moses, also shared a similar testimony of healing from osteoarthritis, after prayer by the woman of God. He also narrated how he received deliverance from the evil spirits that had been giving him nightmares. He advised people to wait for God’s time.

“And God Did Not Fail To Perform His Duty!”
By the time she received prayer on October 22, 2023, Mercy had been suffering from a knee injury for over five years. The professional handball player had torn a ligament and needed surgery to be able to get back into action. Heeding her father’s advice that she come home for prayer, Mercy had presented herself before Pastor Evelyn Joshua. “I felt a vibration in my body as I received prayer; I can’t explain it,” she said during her testimony a week later. “I am the idol from her father’s house – she is supposed to serve me!” confessed the demon in Juliet during the deliverance session of the service of October 22, 2023. As the evangelist commanded fire upon it, the demon screamed in discomfort as all its roots in Juliet’s system were cut off. “Thank You, Lord!” said the evangelist once the deliverance was complete. A week later, Juliet returned to testify. In her village, women were not supposed to see a particular masquerade that used to appear only in July – the month of Juliet’s birth. “I walked past the masquerade one day and told my mother about it,” she recalled on October 29. Juliet’s mother had panicked on hearing the news. Unhappy about her parents’ link to the masquerade, Juliet had changed her last name to signal her disconnection from it. From then on, she began to have nightmares in which she was fed by a strange figure who also tried to get intimate with her. “I came down with kidney issues and began to experience setbacks in my work and career plans,” she said. Since her deliverance, however, Juliet has been free from all pain and nightmares, even as she has had confirmatory dreams about her liberation. In song, she advised people to have faith in God.

Delivered From The Giant Man!
Gift came from an idol-worshipping family. In her case, a giant man had specific instructions from the dark world to frustrate her life – and mess it up badly. That was why it had taken her four years to conceive in marriage, for instance. Even when she finally managed to start conceiving and having children, she suffered the misfortune of burying three of the four that she had over the years. “I also suffered numerous miscarriages, including of twins, and my blood pressure spiked,” Gift told the church on October 29, 2023. The giant man caused Gift to be a constantly angry woman. “I was always rude to my husband,” she said, noting how the demon had made her lose many things. Since receiving a divine touch in The Arena Of Liberty, however, Gift has now received a gentle spirit. “Jesus is the Only Way and the Solution,” she assured the world.

Fibroids Expelled, Nightmares Banished In Jesus’ Name!
Sylvia, a Cameroonian living in Equatorial Guinea, shared her testimony about the unstable menstrual cycle that had been her lot for decades. In the last five years, however, the situation had worsened and Sylvia had made her way to church on October 22, 2023. As Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered in the all-powerful name of Jesus Christ, Sylvia knew that something extraordinary had impacted her. Soon afterwards, she went into the restroom and expelled fibroids! She is also now free from the spirit causing her nightmares and feeding her in the dream! “With God all things are possible; just build your faith,” she advised others.

“God Has Answered Those Questioning Me!”
Charity and Emmanuel testified about the power of God in their lives. “I had five miscarriages and my sixth pregnancy led to a live birth but the baby died just after a few days,” said Charity on October 29, 2023. On hearing about the Living Water Service of September 25, 2019, she and her husband had attended and gone home with the Living Water. “I continued to take it as medicine and before I knew it, I had the first child, Rex, and the second one, Grace,” said an excited Charity as she sat beside her husband. “God can use any medium to express Himself,” she told the world. Emmanuel recalled, “I was applying the Living Water like a perfume.” He also told of how his friends had finally accepted that God’s grace was upon the ministry of Prophet TB Joshua, following his own testimony. He advised people to stick with God.

He Was Looking For The Love Of His Life But Jesus Christ Found Him!
The ancestral demon in Raphael had manifested during the service of October 22, 2023. A week later, he testified about how it had all started. “I used to have dream encounters with a little girl that a particular voice used to tell me I must marry,” he started. It turned out that certain forces were behind Raphael’s predicament and wanted him not to marry any other person apart from the girl in his dreams. The situation made Raphael keep calling off planned weddings, including one with a woman who had borne him a boy. Raphael also had another relationship in which the woman aborted the pregnancy that would have made him marry her. Then he moved on to single mothers – the first had only one child and the other had had three. In either case, the woman called off all plans. For sure, the ancestral demon was still at work! Raphael met yet another woman – on social media. “The lady later got delivered here in The SCOAN and started working here,” he said. Raphael had lost contact with her and had been hoping to find her in the Arena Of Liberty when he came for the service. As God would have it, however, Raphael found Jesus Christ, Who rescued him from the ancestral demon that had kept him stagnant in life. Since his deliverance, Raphael’s life has been transformed. He advised parents to listen more patiently to their children. He also advised people not to be distracted by other things when seeking God.

Silvia from Spain testified about her healing from chronic stomach trouble, which was the result of a bacterial infection in her intestine. She had visited many hospitals without finding a solution. Moreover, she had been battling depression and suicidal thoughts. To the glory of God, the demon troubling her life was also exposed and commanded out in the name of Jesus Christ. Now, Silvia has a free spirit!

Chioma vomited bloody substances during the Mass Prayer session, and now she is free from all chest pain!

Andrew from the United States of America testified about his healing from ten years of pain all over his body. “I no longer feel pain in my back,” he said, demonstrating the things that he had been unable to do before. He advised people to trust in God.

Beatrice came from Kogi State. She was healed of arthritis, severe ulcers and heart pain. “I felt something come out of me as Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me,” she said.
