It was clear from their intense reactions that the people were glad to be in God’s house as they assembled for the first service of November 2023. In The Arena Of Liberty, where God’s Word and Spirit combine to produce uncommon favour, mercy and grace, congregants joined in singing to the Lord as Esther as well as The SCOAN Choir called down the Host of Heaven. Indeed, the people had seen the goodness and compassion of the Waymaker!

When Evangelist Chisom got on the altar to feed God’s flock, he spoke on the topic “GET BACK UP”, for which he read from Luke 17:1 and Romans 7:15, 24-25. With this powerful and humbling message, he reminded congregants about human fallibility and God’s abounding grace. We are all exposed to things that are not consistent with God’s Word and may sometimes fall even as Christians, he observed. What would distinguish the person with a winning mentality, he went on, is the ability to get back up anytime we fall.

According to Evangelist Chisom, therefore, the right decision to take in times when our mistakes seem to make us feel unworthy of the prize is to maintain focus, improve on personal discipline and ask for divine energy to carry on. Winners, he insisted, are not marked by how many times they fail but by how many times they rise back up. “Falling down does not make you a failure,” he said, “but staying down makes you a failure.”

Consequently, Evangelist Chisom urged congregants to fight discouragement, failure and fear by “maximising forward movement” and acknowledging God’s awesomeness in the past (1 Samuel 17:37) despite the curse of imperfection that is upon all humans. He concluded thus: “A Christian can make a bad mistake, but they can go to God about their behaviour and the Lord will forgive them, get them back on their feet and help them not to make the same mistake again.”
Wasted Hours Turned To Glorious Hours!

At The Prayer Line, Pastor Evelyn Joshua raised her face to Heaven: “Father Jesus, we bless Your name! As we come before You this morning, at Your command we want to follow You, like Peter. You asked him to follow You in that Book of Matthew 4:19 and he followed you. His wasted hours were turned to glorious hours – he remembered his sorrows, his pains no more. Almighty God, we ask You to help us to do more than we can do ourselves.
We want to walk by Your side; we want to feel Your hand in our hands. Let us know the joy of walking in Your strength, not in our own strength. Father Lord God Almighty, stand against every power that is fighting our destiny, in the name of Jesus Christ. O Lord God Almighty, restore our strength, peace, health, joy, freedom, in the name of Jesus Christ! Thank You, Father!”

In faith, the people came for the Balm of Gilead that soothes every pain. Whatever the issue – be it ankle dislocation, brain injury, asthma, breast cancer, fibroids, difficulty in defecating, prostate enlargement, skin disease, etc. – the Right Hand Of God was more than capable in rescuing them from pain and sorrow.

As always, pregnant women sought refuge under the shadow of the Almighty, knowing that none can do battle with the Lord!

Other cases presented included epilepsy, mental disorder, swollen belly, leg ulcers, mouth ulcers and drug addiction. Indeed, at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ, every yoke was broken! Whatever their condition, it did not embarrass Jesus Christ!

No doubt, the unfathomable Holy Spirit wrought incredible miracles inside The Arena of Liberty through the faculties of Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists. As the Spirit moved, demons confessed their atrocities before fleeing forever!

Their Day Of Appointment With The Lord!

“It can only be God, so we bless His holy name,” said Pastor Evelyn Joshua as she broke into song on rejoining congregants for the Mass Prayer session. She told the people to affirm thus: “Today is my appointment with the Lord!” She assured them: “By divine appointment, there is success in failure. By divine appointment with Christ, there is good health in sickness. By divine appointment with the Lord, there is breakthrough in setback.” She then prayed for the people: “Begin to receive a new life in God right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every garment of sickness, affliction, infirmity – we command it out now, in the name of Jesus Christ.”

Further, the woman of God prayed: “Receive your freedom today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every power that holds you in bondage – we command it out right now, in the name of Jesus! Every contrary spirit that steals, kills and destroys – we command it out now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Spirits that make you not to receive – we command them out right now, in the name of Jesus! I command the healing power of God into your body, in the name of Jesus! Be healed from that affliction, disease, infirmity, hatred, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be free from every yoke, bondage, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Evangelist Joseph prayed: “Every evil spirit, familiar spirit, demon, messenger of satan: Out!”

Evangelist Chisom prayed: “That spirit that troubles your life, business health – command it out, in the name of Jesus!” He also told them: “That unclean spirit, ancestral spirit, contrary spirit – anywhere you are, within and without – command it out!” Further, he told the people to pray: “You unclean spirit, the cause of my sickness – anywhere you are in my body, I command you, in the name of Jesus: Out!”

Evangelist James told the people: “That unclean spirit, familiar spirit causing you sickness – command it out, in the name of Jesus!” He also prayed: “Every covenant with sickness and disease – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist Ope told the people to pray: “You spirit standing against my progress, I call you by your name. Hear the voice of God: Out, in the name of Jesus!”

Turning to viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua said: “Begin to confront your confrontations! Every wall of limitation, every giant that is standing before you – ask it to leave right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!” She also prayed: “We say to every fear, challenge, manipulative spirit in your life: Out right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every door through which the enemy entered your life to cause you embarrassment – begin to close right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive your healing, blessings, deliverance, breakthrough key right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “Whatever cage – be it your health, business, finances, marriage, family – you are released right now, in the name of Jesus! Right now, I release you, in the name of Jesus! Whatever harm they do to you – harm to your business, harm to your finances, to your marriage, to your health – Out! Jesus is Lord over my life. Have His deliverance! Have His healing in your blood, fluids, bones, kidneys! Be healed!

“I Can’t Measure My Happiness!” Says Woman Healed Of Severe Waist Pain
With a lumbar corset fixed firmly around her abdomen and lower back on Sunday, October 29, 2023, Evelyn was obviously in severe pain as she received prayer over difficulty in walking caused by spinal injury and muscle spasms. She had slipped badly on a rainy day sometime in 2018. Afterwards, she had a baby and found that her injury had worsened. “I got several medical aids, including a massager and a lumbar corset, but I didn’t get better; in fact, the drugs increased my pain,” she told the church on November 5, 2023. “As Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me, I felt instant relief,” she recalled. “Fire all over your body!” commanded the evangelist as Juliet received prayer during the service of October 29, 2023. Minutes later, she was freed from the demons that had been ruling her life. “I came from a family of idol worshippers,” she said at the start of her testimony a week later. The demon in Pearl had meant to ruin her life by afflicting her with uncontrollable anger. Operating in her life as a spirit husband, the demon had started by getting intimate with her in the dream. Pearl first had the experience as a child. In older years, the male figure began to appear to her physically.
