The Arena Of Liberty – where God’s Spirit liberates, heals and saves – was full of excitement on Sunday, August 18, 2024 as the Live Sunday Service got into full swing. With the desires of their hearts exposed to the omniscient Lord, the people knew all they had to do was to be anxious for nothing while offering prayer, supplication and thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6-7). “O Lord, We Give You Thanks,” they sang. They also pled for the help of the Holy Spirit, singing: “Holy Spirit, Take More Of Me/Give Me More Of You!” They went on to hail Yahweh for being so powerful, so glorious and so wonderful in His ways. Indeed, “The One Who Answers Prayer” was on hand to affect congregants with His Spirit, with many shedding tears indicating their connection with the Invisible.  

Evangelist Joseph took to the pulpit for his message entitled “You Are Not Left Out”. For his proof text, he read from Habakkuk 2:3 and 1 John 3:1. He reminded the people of God’s constant goodness as he noted that many Christians now feel weak, tired and frustrated because their efforts appear not to be yielding fruit. Yet, such a time as this, he said, is not when to give up but to realise they are no write-offs because God’s Word says they are never forgotten or abandoned.

He equally urged the people to reflect on God’s limitless love for His children. Accordingly, he exhorted them not to see tough times as meaning that God does not care about them but to see such times as preparing them for better days ahead. He observed thus: “Most of the challenges and trials that we go through are the necessary experience we need to gain in the school of life.”

He therefore advised congregants not to be weighed down by their situation but to align themselves to God’s plan and purpose for their lives. “Be patient for your season of harvest to come,” he encouraged them, while also warning them against seeking temporary solutions from the world rather than relying on the Word. In concluding the message, Evangelist Joseph reminded God’s people thus: “It is better to live poorly upon the fruit of God’s goodness than to live plentifully upon the fruit of our sins.”

Their Lives Touched For Testimonies!

“Hallelujah to the highest Heaven!” Pastor Evelyn Joshua proclaimed as she joined the people for the Prayer Line ministration.

Before moving to the Prayer Line, the woman of God broke into song, “See What The Lord Has Done!”

She then prayed: “Precious Father, Holy God; we thank You this morning. Jesus Christ, we praise You. Holy Spirit, we welcome You. Father Lord, we thank You. As we seek Your face again this morning, Father, we ask You to help us. Free us from every misfortune, every misery and strengthen us. Give us the enablement to live a productive life for You. We have committed all to You. Almighty God, make us one with a difference, in the name of Jesus Christ! Touch our lives today for testimonies. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray! Thank You, Lord! Thank You, Jesus!”

It was a day of testimonies for many from all over the world who had come to seek God’s face for healing, deliverance and breakthrough for the ultimate salvation of their souls. Ever ready to help them, the Great Physician set them free from difficulty in walking, hernia, prostate enlargement, and urine incontinence, among many other issues.

Many pregnant women also looked to Jesus with eyes of faith as they sat for prayer. To the glory of God, they shall have their babies without any issues!

More people witnessed God’s raw power in action as the evangelists joined Pastor Evelyn Joshua in ministering to those ailing in body or mind. In line with Prophet TB Joshua’s words about faith acting, believing and receiving now, instantaneous evidence was seen of answers to the people’s prayer.

And in the Laying Of Hand session, many more people were set free from bondage of all sorts, with their cases settled, yokes broken and chains loosed for the glory of the Lord!

Casting out demons from the people’s lives, the servants of the Most High did not stand in their own name but derived their authority and power from the name of Jesus Christ and the fire of the Holy Ghost. Thank You, Jesus!

From Victim To Victor!

“Congratulate your neighbour, for the Lord has touched your case,” Evangelist Chisom assured the people at the start of the Mass Prayer session. He read from 2 Corinthians 3:17 and reminded congregants that their freedom was guaranteed.

Evangelist Chisom told congregants to pray: “O Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the living God – fall afresh on me and set me free! O Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the living God – contact my spirit! Touch me, O Lord, and I will be delivered, healed, blessed, saved! Do not pass me by, O Lord! You spirit that is not of God operating in my life – anywhere you are – out, in the name of Jesus! You spirit – you are darkness; by the light of God, anywhere you are: Out!”

Evangelist Ope told the people to pray: “You spirit from my father’s side, from my mother’s side, holding me bound – by the Fire of the Holy Ghost: Out!”

Evangelist Joseph told congregants: “Those spirits attacking your health – command them out!” He also asked them to pray: “You spirit behind my affliction, attacking my health and causing me sickness – anywhere you are, I order you: Out!”

Evangelist James told the people to pray: “Whatever medium satan is using to connect himself to my business, family, career – be disconnected, in the name of Jesus! Chain of setback, disappointment in my career, business, family – be disconnected!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “We command every trouble, every challenge in your life that is unwilling to yield, to begin to yield right now! Those nightmares, those constant experiences of failure, disappointment that are refusing to yield to your prayer – begin to yield right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua continued: “Be delivered from every heartache, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be healed from that sickness, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be freed from that cage, in the name of Jesus! Receive light into your darkness today, in the name of Jesus! Receive freedom! Be delivered from all that will not give you peace to serve the Lord! May God continue to be your stronghold, in the name of Jesus! Peace to your life, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

For viewers all over the world Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “I pray today that God Almighty will hear the voice of your cry for help, in the name of Jesus! Be freed from every entanglement, in the name of Jesus! Receive your freedom – from being a victim to a victor – in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive your freedom from every evil weapon fashioned against you for destruction! Any power resisting your prayer – be cast out, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every contrary spirit that is tormenting your life – out, in the name of Jesus!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “You are going to be restored to your destined promotion, your destined position, your destined marriage, in the name of Jesus! In An Instant, Three Years Of Pain Comes To A Divine End!

“Thank You, Jesus!” screamed Justina as she felt the healing touch of Jesus Christ through Pastor Evelyn Joshua on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Since the third day of September 2021, she had been battling with difficulty in walking due to a bone shift. In search of healing, she had gone to different hospitals and ingested numerous drugs over the years. “Still, I wasn’t getting any better,” she recalled during her testimony on August 18, the following Sunday. “I felt heavenly currents run through me as the woman of God tapped my chest,” she added. Justina couldn’t hide her excitement as she demonstrated all that she had been unable to do for the past few years. She advised others to have faith in God. Her husband thanked God for the healing and warned others never to run from God. Their first child, Julius, also praised God for the healing.

Blessing Gets A Priceless Blessing!

On April 14, 2024, heavily pregnant Blessing received a blessing from God. “Your baby is in breech,” the doctor had told her. “Pray hard about the situation,” he had urged her – rather unexpectedly. Blessing told of how her husband had encouraged her to believe in God’s power. “I got the Anointing Water the day I received prayer,” she said, “and the baby positioned properly soon afterwards.” As she went into the labour room, Blessing ministered the Anointing Water and had her baby without any trouble whatsoever. She advised others to rely on God for help at all times. Her husband, Samuel, told the story of how he had demonstrated faith. “Back yourself with prayer,” he told the church.

Set Free From Marine Kingdom Bondage!

The demon in Cordelia wanted to continue asserting itself after it got exposed during the service of Sunday, August 11, 2024. It transpired that she had been covenanted to the marine kingdom as her mother searched for a child. “I was a sickly child who constantly had dreams in which I was treated as a queen,” she began. She said that the situation persisted till she became an adult. “I got married to a successful man but soon after, he started experiencing difficulties,” she said, her eyes momentarily recalling her days of pain. Cordelia had first experienced God’s power as she awoke from a bad dream to a prayer video of Prophet TB Joshua on Emmanuel TV. “A snake from the marine world had been trying to kill me in that dream,” she remembered, “and I manifested as Prophet TB Joshua was praying for viewers all over the world.” She had then decided to visit The SCOAN for prayer. Her husband had had a decoder installed after seeing Emmanuel TV in a friend’s house. “After I saw my wife manifest just by watching Emmanuel TV, I knew we had to come here,” he said. He also confirmed that Cordelia no longer experiences illness. Like his wife, he advised others to persist in prayer.

Ancestral Powers Lose The Battle Over Couple’s Life!

An unrelenting demon had been ruling Mercy’s life all the while. But the story changed on Sunday, August, 11, 2024. And it changed right inside The Arena Of Liberty – for the glory of God! A week later, Mercy returned for her testimony. “I came from an idol-worshipping family but the idols brought sickness, death and poverty to our family instead of protecting us,” said Mercy, whose father had married six wives. “My grandfather had even more wives,” she recalled, noting how the family faced abject poverty. “The idol couldn’t kill me but it tormented me with illness and forced me to drop out of school,” she explained. In addition to the household idols, Mercy also experienced attacks by a spirit husband as well as from snakes that dogged her dreams. “I would often see snakes that other people couldn’t see; in fact, I once killed two snakes in my room,” she disclosed. Over the years, the idols succeeded in claiming over 30 members of Mercy’s family. The little money that Mercy realised from her business as a fashion designer, she put into treating her unyielding stomach trouble. But Mercy was fortunate to have married into a family that truly loved her. In tears, Mercy said: “I, have never seen parents-in-law like these, who went all out to find me help.” It was her mother-in-law who had brought her to The SCOAN for prayer. “The day of my deliverance is now my birthday,” she declared. For advice, Mercy declared boldly: “Seek God’s help at all times; God is still performing wonders in The Synagogue.” Mercy’s husband, Julius, also told his own story about deliverance from the spirit that made him engage in smoking, drinking and womanising. “I offered sacrifices to a water goddess and actually saw the sacrifices taken away by spirit forces,” he said. He recalled how the idols of his father’s household had tried to paralyse him. “My parents took me to so many places but we found no solution,” he said. Along the line, Julius was brought to The SCOAN by his mother sometime in 2017. “Since my deliverance that day, all the troubles in my life have vanished,” he said, “and I no longer do those things that the demon used to make me do.” Julius advised people to stay connected to God, the Source who never fails.

Tina had woken up one morning and found that she couldn’t get out of bed. “I was feeling pain all over my body and I didn’t know what to do,” she began on Sunday, August 18, 2024 – a week after she received prayer in The SCOAN. She had visited different hospitals in the course of seeking a cure. A doctor said that two nerves were overlapping in one of her ankles. “I knew I needed God’s help, so I came down to the church for prayer,” she continued. After a touch by the woman of God, Tina received strength all over her body. “I started to move around as I hadn’t done before,” she testified. She advised others to seek God’s help.
