Keeping God’s Word at Hebrews 10:25 in mind, congregants assembled on August 25, 2024 for The SCOAN Sunday Service. They began with worship songs that set the stage for heavenly forces that would later fight the people’s battle. It was a day of many deliverances and also one of many testimonies of instantaneous healing. The choristers worshipped Adonai for His everlasting dominion and sang about the many blessings of the Lord in theirs and congregants’ lives. They declared the end of sin’s power over their lives even as they proclaimed: “In My Life/Be Glorified, O Lord!” With the atmosphere now saturated with the presence of the Holy Spirit, the people got ready for the Word.
It was Evangelist James who gave the sermon and its title was “Where Are You?” He read from Genesis 3:8-9, so he based the message on the loss of divine relationship that started with Adam and Eve. It was sin, he noted, that caused the separation between God and humankind, leading to the death of the human body. Just as God asked for the original sinners, so is He asking for us to state where we belong, Evangelist James said.
Accordingly, we are to maintain our relationship with God by accepting Jesus Christ, who died to purchase forgiveness for our sins. We are to value our relationship with Jesus Christ above everything else – be it position, possession or connections. According to the evangelist, true Christianity is about having a deep relationship with God rather than about the religion into which we are born, the name we bear or the number of times we go to God’s house.
To develop this relationship, the evangelist continued, one must love God’s Word and devote time to studying it, for “to spend time with God is to spend time in His Word.” As he rounded off the message, Evangelist James reminded congregants to keep God in their mind and mouth while being mindful of Jesus Christ, who stands at the Right Hand of God and continues to intercede for them.
And The Lord Filled Their Emptiness!
“I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua says to congregants as she joins them for the Prayer Line ministration.
Before commencing the Prayer Line ministration, Pastor Evelyn Joshua raises her face to Heaven: “Father, we are here to say, ‘Thank You’. Jesus, thank You for Your faithfulness, love, mercy, favour; thank You for the grace to be here today. Thank You for the grace to live for You. Thank You for making us one with You. Father, we thank You for intervening in our affairs. Thank You for Your protection and provision. All honour and praise to His name forever, in the name of Jesus Christ!
Almighty God, we know that sin is unrighteousness and is not pleasing to You. We cannot continue to sin and expect Your grace to abound, so we come this morning to confess our sin and limitations, our shortcomings before You. O Lord God, forgive us our sins. Sanctify us, purify us body, soul and spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ! Father God, fill our emptiness. We receive Your forgiveness, we receive Your love, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua urges the people to declare: “I have a covenant with Jesus Christ. I am in a relationship with Jesus Christ. I am in love with Jesus Christ, so there is peace in my heart, health in my body, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
This morning, people from all over the world have come with a steadfast look to the Crucified One, Jesus Christ. And to the glory of God, efficacious prayer in Jesus’ name has rescued them from difficulty in walking, asthma, hypertension, heart disease, ankle fracture, severe waist pain, colon cancer, and anaemia, among others. Thank You, Jesus!
Seeking the safe delivery of their babies and the unrelenting hand of God upon their lives, these women have also presented themselves for prayer. Indeed, the Right Hand of God is power!
As The SCOAN Evangelists join Pastor Evelyn Joshua at the Prayer Line, the people see further proof of God’s power over every form of affliction. Among the bodily troubles eliminated were skin disease, neck pain, body injury, leg ulcers, fire burns, swollen legs, and wrist dislocation. “The Lord is good all the time,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua declared at the start of the Mass Prayer session. “Be connected to the Throne Of Grace,” she added.
The woman of God then told the people, “Get ready to silence every voice that wants to remind you of your unanswered prayers.” She continued, “Command every raging storm in your life, in your health, in your business to be still right now, in the name of Jesus Christ.”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Every compromising voice threatening your peace, life – we command it out right now, in the name of Jesus! May the voice of God be your mediator, in the name of Jesus Christ. Every heaviness in your body, spirit, soul – we command it out right now, in the name Jesus Christ. Every sickness, every affliction – we command it out right now, in the name of Jesus! Let the healing anointing of God fall afresh on your life, in the name of Jesus!”
The woman of God further prayed: “Wherever that illness, hurt, pain is located in your body – we command it out right now, in the name of Jesus! Be healed from that affliction, from that disease, from that pain, from that discomfort, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be freed, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be delivered from that cage, from that bondage, from that ancestral curse, in the name of Jesus Christ! Freedom in your life, freedom in your career, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua said to viewers all over the world: “Look to Jesus Christ and live.” She prayed for them: “Whatever it may be that brings shame to your life – spirit of lust, drunkenness, smoking, pride, stealing, lack of contentment, envy, jealousy – we command them out now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive a new life, receive a new name, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Evangelist James told the church: “Every contrary spirit, every familiar spirit, every ancestral spirit frustrating your life – command it out in the name of Jesus!” He told them to declare: “By the authority in the name of Jesus, you ancestral spirit, you family idol, you familiar spirit – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”
Evangelist Chisom told congregants to decree: “You ancestral spirit – anywhere you are, within and without, tormenting my life – by the fire of the Holy Ghost: Out! You spirit tormenting my life, anywhere you are: Out!”
Evangelist Ope urged congregants to pray: “You spirit of affliction tormenting my life, I call you by your name: Anywhere you are – by the fire of the Holy Ghost: Out!”
Evangelist Joseph asked the people to declare: “You garment of shame, disappointment, pain, failure, poverty, bondage sent to me by the messenger of satan – by the fire of the Holy Ghost: Out!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua told the people to ask: “Spirit of deliverance, mercy, breakthrough – come into my life.” The man of God prayed: “To those in darkness – be freed, in the name of Jesus! In the name of Jesus Christ, I command darkness out of your life. Darkness of sickness in your blood, liver, kidneys – those fibroids – I command them out, in the name of Jesus! I command you to leave darkness! I command your business, finance, career, marriage to leave darkness! I challenge your health: Be freed! Where there is disunity, let there be unity, peace in your marital life. Where there is pain, receive comfort!” Finally, the man of God asked the people to declare: “I am free, in Jesus’ name!”

“Look At Me Now – Thank You, Jesus!”
On August 25, 2024, when Emma sat for prayer in The Arena Of Liberty, she was in tears because she was in severe pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis. Minutes later, however, after Pastor Evelyn Joshua had ministered prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Emma’s face was full of joy. The following Sunday, she returned for her testimony. “I couldn’t help myself and my business was going down,” she recalled, “despite having sought all the medical help I could get.” Emma had decided to seek God’s face even though one of her siblings had tried to discourage her. “Something left my body as the woman of God prayed for me,” she said. In excitement she proclaimed, “Look at me today – thank You, Jesus!” She advised people to keep faith in God. “Come to the house of God with your problem and it will be over soon,” she said.
Healed Of 10 Years Of Ruthless Pain!
“I want to kill him!” declared the demon that had been responsible for pain in Joseph’s body. He had woken up one morning to find that his waist was weighed down by pain. “I couldn’t do my work as a master craftsman,” he recalled on August 25, 2024 – a week after the demon in him was exposed in The SCOAN during prayer by Pastor Evelyn Joshua. Joseph told of how he had ingested numerous drugs without feeling any relief. He also told of how his dreams had been marked by encounters with dead people, some of whom he saw himself sleeping with. Tired of depending on his wife for help, he decided to make his way to Lagos, having been following Emmanuel TV. “I received a touch that knocked me down,” he testified, “and went home with the Anointing Water, which I kept ministering prayerfully.” Upon ministering the water, Joseph felt his stomach rumbling and he went to the restroom. “I found myself stooling blood for several minutes and became light once I was done,” he said. Joseph gladly demonstrated all that he had been unable to do before, including dancing with his waist. “Just hold on to God; God’s time is the best,” he said by way of advice.
Delivered From The Idols Of Her Father’s House!
“She will not get married. Nothing good will come to her. I am about killing her. And I will kill her sister next. Why do you want to save her from me?” Those were some of the confessions that came from the mouth of Edna as a demon spoke through her on August 18, 2024. Of course, the demon had boasted in vain, for the Holy Ghost overpowered it. A week later, Edna told her story to the world. “I used to eat of the sacrifices offered to idols by my father,” she said. Despite feeding the idols consistently, Edna’s father ended up losing one of his daughters to illness. “Yet, my father continued serving those idols,” she went on. As time passed, Edna’s father died and she began to see herself in dreams serving the idols her father had served. “But things weren’t alright with me. “My business didn’t do well and I kept malice with people for long periods because I always found it hard to forgive my offenders,” she said. Realising that she needed God, Edna had brought herself to The SCOAN for prayer and God’s Spirit had taken control. Since her deliverance, she has been free from dreams in which masquerades flog her or where strange men sleep with her. Moreover, all her bodily pain is also gone! She advised others to seek God’s help.
Restored To Her Destined Glory!
“I see with her eyes,” confessed the demon in Patience during the deliverance session of the service of August 18, 2024. The demon also revealed many other evil things it had been doing in the young woman’s life, including making her amount to nothing. The following Sunday, Patience returned for her testimony. She started by telling of how it was the practice for virgins to have something rubbed over their eyes so that they could be possessed by the spirit of divination. Patience was among those selected for this ritual in her younger days. One thing led to another and Patience fled from her base. “I started prospering in business but things soon changed,” she said. Even more troubling, Patience found herself losing three different suitors in succession. “Each man left me just after seeing my family and promising to marry me,” she said. In a dream, Patience would later see herself with three eggs that an old woman had given her. The woman had been the one who used to appear to her anytime she had the divination substance rubbed over her eyes. Convinced that her life needed God’s touch, Patience had heeded an older friend’s advice to visit The SCOAN for prayer. Since her day of deliverance in The Arena of Liberty, Patience’s heart has been full of ease and joy. Patience’s friend Maryam confirmed the transformation. While Patience advised parents to lead their children to God rather than to idols, her friend urged people to choose their friends wisely.
After Years Of Demonic Stagnation, Tikeu Breaks Loose In Jesus’ Name!
It started with an anointed tap on Tikeu’s head. Instantly, his body began to vibrate vigorously. Minutes later, he lay still on the floor of The SCOAN Auditorium. “Stand up,” the woman of God commanded. And the Cameroonian jumped to his feet, screaming the praise of the Almighty God. For a long time, his life had been afflicted by nightmares in which he saw himself struggling with people he didn’t know. “I abandoned my studies and decided to pursue a career in football, which was my passion,” he told the church on August 25, 2024. As Tikeu continued to strive against all odds, he made some progress that saw him selected for one of his country’s national teams. But the devil struck at that point. “I was diagnosed with a problem that required surgery,” he said. Yet, when doctors opened him up, they saw that there was really no reason for the operation. “This thing happened to me three times,” he said with tears in his eyes. He continued, “I turned to spiritualists but they failed me.” Tikeu had to abandon his football dreams. “I turned to trading but I also failed there,” he went on. The nightmares continued. “I shared my problems with my sister,” he said, “and she advised me to visit The SCOAN for prayer.” To the glory of God, right from that moment, Tikeu saw his problems vanish. “Now I can do all that I couldn’t do before, including sporting activities,” he said while recalling how he had used to walk before God healed him. He declared, “God can do all things.”
Set Free For Glory, Set Free For Exploits!
“Fire all over your body!” declared the evangelist as he prayed in the name that is above all names, Jesus Christ. “None of them shall be liberated, including her twin sister who is in jail,” the demon in Suzzy further boasted. But of course, it was all in vain, for the Spirit of the Lord had now taken control! On August 25, 2024, a week after her deliverance in The SCOAN, Suzzy recalled her childhood in idolatry. “My father led us into idol worship and yet the idols couldn’t save his children from premature death,” she recalled. She further told the church that she had many dreams in which she saw herself sleeping with ‘ancient men’. “My mother died of cancer,” Suzzy said, “and I couldn’t do well in school or business.” Things were so bad that Suzzy had tried to kill herself on numerous occasions. “But another voice would tell me not to kill myself but I would cry endlessly, asking God why He didn’t just take my life,” she continued. Saddened by hers and the experiences of her siblings, Suzzy made her way to The SCOAN. “I had stumbled on Emmanuel TV at a woman’s shop and she had given me directions to the church,” she disclosed. Since her deliverance, Suzzy has had confirmatory dreams and has broken free from all household demons. “Run to God,” she advised others.
No Longer Desperate For Money, Now The Son Of God!
On Sunday, July 28, 2024, during the deliverance session of The SCOAN Sunday Service, the aggressive demon in Victor spoke forcefully about how it had tried to hold down the businessman. Minutes later, he was liberated by the Spirit of the Lord. On August 25, 2024, Victor began his testimony with a confession: “I love money so much.” That love had led Victor to a witch doctor’s place. “I wanted to get ritual money but the witch doctor told me I wasn’t meant to do it,” he said. “Your guardian angel says you shouldn’t engage in money ritual,” the witch doctor had told me. Undeterred, Victor sought out another witch doctor who agreed to help him. It was a daring ritual that required the life of his firstborn. As of that time, Victor was single and had no children and said he didn’t mind, so he started the process. “You will get so much money,” the witch doctor assured him. Other legs of the ritual involved going to the cemetery for seven days. “No one must see you during this period,” the witch doctor had warned him. On the seventh day, however, someone saw Victor! In anger, Victor screamed at him: “Who sent you?” Yet, Victor didn’t give up. Other ‘money lovers’ started to approach him, urging him to try harder with money-making rituals. Meanwhile, Victor’s health started to deteriorate. “I had high blood pressure and many other issues,” he disclosed. He had started to build a house and was making good progress with it. “One day, a man approached me and said that I needed to join them in their society if I wanted to complete the house,” he said. From then on, all income ceased for Victor! “We toiled and toiled but nothing was happening,” he said. But things changed when Victor got delivered in July 2024, with his health also restored. However, the devil tried to take the life of Victor’s first daughter. To the glory of God, however, the innocent girl’s life was restored by the anointing. “I called the Prayer Line and ministered the Anointing Water and Sticker on my daughter – and God restored her life,” Victor testified. “Wait for God’s time,” he advised others. His wife Roseline also glorified God for the deliverance and healing. She advised people to stick with God and to avoid desperation for money. Their daughter Deborah testified eloquently about her healing. “Prophet TB Joshua appeared to me in the dream as I lay on the hospital bed and told me, ‘You are healed’.”
