WHAT WE NEED TO GROW

As the spiritual aura generated by the choir, who, for long, had wreathed the auditorium in songs of praise to the Lord, wafted and engulfed the entire auditorium, Wise Man Christopher exploited their  breath –catching halt to introduce his message which he christened a message to release his listeners into a new relationship with Christ. In calculated progress towards the pith of his message, as he unravels it veneer by veneer, the preacher noted that nothing made by God is whole by itself. It requires connection to other beings in a way too fundamental, he averred, to be explained.

Man is one among the relationships. Everybody, he noted, deserves the feeling of connection, and, on that note, he entitled his message, We Need One Another. Citing 1 Corinthians 12: 12-14 and 21 as his proof text, the celebrated preacher elaborated on this symbiotic connection, intimating to his listeners that none is complete without the other. In his words, all of us need God and one another because no one can succeed alone.  Jesus Christ, he maintained, needed His disciples. In the same way, a medical practitioner needs patients like sinners need the Saviour and vice-versa. I am because you are;  just as you are because I am. We are one another’s strength. We maintain our union with Christ when we are in unity with one another. Relationships break down because of failure to recognize the differences and uniqueness in the participating members. Satan exploits this failure to create schisms among members. Rejecting one on account of his weakness is tantamount to rejecting all his strengths. Man erroneously shies away from his prospective helpers because of the inability to see beyond the present situation.  If you know a friend’s weakness, you should help him because a person who is a thorn in your flesh today may be your helper tomorrow. Perfection eludes us all making us stand in helpless need of forgiveness. There is no perfect relationship. We need one another for our completeness and wholeness. The centurion built the synagogue and Jesus healed his sick servant. Learn to give people another chance. Don’t allow your bad experiences to wipe you out. By His stripes, we are forgiven.

In the same vein, Prophet T B Joshua drew the congregation’s attention to John 14 :1 and sought to paint the oneness of the Lord and the Word. Explaining that nothing is perfect on earth, the prophet advised on the need to identify and acknowledge our weakness so as to grow in that area. At that point, Jesus comes in to bring us to balance making us faith men. On the oneness of Jesus and the Word, the prophet averred that it is the Word that builds and saves us. It is the Word that makes us masters to satan. The Word is not on the written pages but in the lips of the believer.

ANOINTING WATER REIGNS

At the instance of the prophet, a video clip of the adventures of the Anointing Water worldwide was activated and scenes and scenarios of anointing, deliverance and healing were laid bare. In the UK branch of The SCOAN, a lady, originally from Tanzania but resident in the UK, reaped deliverance from a contrary spirit, which in league with 39 others, had tormented her for years. She sensed movements in herself as the deliverance was on and became light and relieved after. She had had fits of anger and unprovoked violence as the symptoms of her romance with the contrary spirits for years. In Vladivostok, Russia, the congregation prayed with Prophet T.B . Joshua on television and many were delivered following the ministration of the Anointing Water. A lady, who wanted to acquire power but later gave up the idea and for which reason her life became threatened making her aggressive and reclusive in reaction, was also delivered in the wreathing aura of the Anointing Water. She could hardly contain her joy after the deliverance. The same scenario of healing and deliverance was replicated in Ghana and Greece where the branches, in terms of number and faith, are growing in leaps and bounds especially because of the Anointing Water. In the Greece branch, a lady by name Ania Bulari, who had disc displacement for years as a result of the failure of modern medicine to provide a solution, was healed and unclasped for the first time from her wheel chair. She got up in the radiance of her joy and walked gracefully to the glory of the Lord.

THE POWER OF PROPHECY

In demonstration of the synergy of prophecy and reconciliation to bring together families torn apart, a video clip, at the instance of the prophet, was activated to unfurl the rift between the 39 – year-old Christiana Oguobi of Abia, Nigeria and her husband. Christiana, according to the prophecy, had sworn on the Bible in fake demonstration of her fidelity before her husband who mooted the idea and wreaked on herself consequences which engulfed her 10 – year – old marriage among other setbacks. Coming forward to confirm the prophecy, Mr Okechukwu Oguobi, the husband recollected the emotional outburst of his children as they saw their mother on Emmanuel TV and drew his attention to the episode on television. He bemoaned the many  trials which bedeviled their marriage and the moral lassitude of the wife who took pleasure in unauthorized and illegal outings which attracted the attention of concerned neighbours who, in turn, alerted him. The husband noted that her whereabouts had been unknown to him and the children till her sudden appearance on the Emmanuel TV. In her own testimony, Christiana averred that only that false swearing on the Bible would have saved her head, painting her husband as a good one whom no woman would  brook missing and prayed to God for their reconciliation. Describing the marriage in the flow of advice to the couple, as a wonderful one from Heaven facing tribulations from the devil, Prophet T. B. Joshua asked them to hug each other in reconciliation; which they did most avidly.

PRAYER DELIVERS A BABY

A lady from Cameroon, Mrs chenenye Okorie had come to The SCOAN in fear close to her delivery because of her narrow cervix compounded by her current state of a shortage of blood. She had been told by her doctor that she would undergo operation in her delivery. That apart, her recent dreams in which she would see either her baby or herself dead, compelled her journey to The SCOAN.

While leading the congregational prayer, Wise Man Daniel was told of Chenenye’s plight and he lost no time in rushing to her to offer intercessory prayers. As soon as she saw him, Chenenye exclaimed, ‘Man of God, help me to deliver my baby without operation!’ After the prayer, all the encumbrances to the delivery gave way and Chenenye delivered her baby safely. Standing by her husband as she gave her testimony, Chenenye remarked that as soon as she was prayed for, she had strength to deliver her baby safely.

PRAYER VOIDS DEAD FOETUS

A lady from Edo, Nigeria, Mrs Joy Ehimwa who had carried a dead baby in her womb for about a week also came to The SCOAN for the ejection of the still baby from her womb. She had been told by her doctor that only an operation could evacuate the dead foetus from her womb. As soon as her case was brought to the attention of Wise Man Christopher, he raced to her to offer prayer following which the dead child slid out of her womb. They added that they decided to come to The SCOAN to avoid the mandatory operation suggested by the doctor. However, the husband was told that he was seriously in need of deliverance and advised to see the prophet later.

PRAYER ENDS CANCER

Before the time for prayer line, Mrs Angelina Enzimba from Anambra, Nigeria who had been healed of foot cancer after receiving prayer in the prayer line, was invited to come forward as an exampler of the healing benefits from the prayer line. Before her emergence, the video clip had shown her at the time of the cancer when her entire foot was ravaged to the bone and in helpless state of decay, crying for amputation as endorsed by her doctor.  Mrs Angelina Enzimba

SCHOLARSHIPS GALORE

A throng of pupils and students, who were third in a row,  soon surged to the altar, invited to receive their scholarships in fiscal terms at the beginning of the school calendar. Students Under the scholarship schemes

In no time, a total sum of 3.4 million naira was disbursed to them. Their spokespersons thanked and prayed for the man of God for remaining their celebrated benefactor and helping them to actualize their dreams. Scholarships  Galore
