Says the Bible in Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding.” This admonition was on the minds of congregants in The SCOAN as they assembled for the service of October 27, 2024. Not leaning on their own understanding, and acknowledging that all they have is from the Lord Almighty, they worshipped the Owner of Heaven and Earth with many Spirit-inspired songs, a number of them composed by God’s servant Prophet TB Joshua.

“All The Glory Must Be To The Lord,” they declared while expressing their desire to stay on the altar with their Father. They handed over all that was troubling their bodies and minds to the Creator, who rained on them the power of His healing, deliverance and breakthrough as the service progressed. 

Evangelist James’ message was entitled “Watch Your Words” and he read from Ephesians 4:29 and Proverbs 21:23. “God Almighty is aware of your challenges,” he assured the people, “and He will never leave you without a solution.” He reached into the Scriptures to exhort congregants on the importance of guarding the thoughts of their hearts and staying conscious of the confessions of their mouth. “Nothing is more important in living the good life,” he observed, “than learning the good language.” In that regard, he urged the people not to speak based on their situation but on God’s promises for them.

Quoting Prophet TB Joshua, Evangelist James said, “There is power in your mouth; the belief in your heart is released by faith out of your mouth.” That being so, he charged the people to suppress their weakness and focus on their strengths in every situation. “Never allow your situation, challenges or circumstances to dictate the direction of your confession,” he warned.

The preacher noted that faith is not about denying the existence of a problem but confronting it with the knowledge that God has come through for us on countless occasions in the past. Therefore, he encouraged the church to wait patiently on God, who will never put them to shame. As he ended the sermon, he led the people to pray: “Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips. Amen.”

Their Testimonies Shamed The Devil!

“It is a new day,” declared Pastor Evelyn Joshua as she joined the people for the Prayer Line ministration.

The woman of God lifted up her voice in gratitude: “Father, we come to You this morning with our hands full of grace. We come with the knowledge that You know us better than we know ourselves. We have come with our weaknesses and strengths. We are here with our failures and victories. We have come with our pains and the hurts that we cause each other. Lord God Almighty, we acknowledge our weaknesses and we promise to live a new life in You. Great God of the whole universe, many times we take life for granted that we fail to appreciate You; we fail to give You thanks. And so Lord, God we come this morning to say, ‘Thank You’ – thank You for all you have done for us’.

We also ask for forgiveness of sin because many times we sit in judgement over the faults and failing of others and turn a blind eye on our lives, on our home. Father, we ask You to cleanse us, renew us, in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord God of Heaven, we ask You to give us love enough to share. Father God, heal our lives, hearts, minds and make us a channel of healing in our world, in the name of Jesus Christ. O Lord God Almighty, we have come to You this morning: make today and every other day a blessed day for us in Your presence. Father God, give us testimonies that will shame the devil and his works in our lives. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Thank You, Jesus! Thank You, Father!”

As she commenced the ministration of prayers, around the woman of God burned brightly the anointing for healing, deliverance and breakthrough for the ultimate salvation of souls.

Many had come with issues such as difficulty in breathing, neck stiffness, difficulty in walking, complications from sickle cell anaemia, swollen belly, and a host of other bodily issues.

Pregnant women also sought refuge in the Divine for the safe delivery of their unborn babies.

The SCOAN Evangelists then joined Pastor Evelyn Joshua to lay anointed hands of healing, deliverance and breakthrough upon others at the Prayer Line and the Main Auditorium, including those with mental disorder, toe ulcer, bleeding, and kidney issues causing bloody urination.

“Fire all over your body!” The SCOAN Evangelists declared during the One-On-One session. “Stand up; you are free,” they pronounced after the breaking of every stronghold in the people’s lives.

God Cuts Off The Arrogant

Earlier, Pastor Evelyn Joshua shared some words of encouragement with all. She stressed the need for people to watch their words, noting that their words build or destroy. “Every word that proceeds out of your mouth will be accounted for,” she warned.

The woman of God also affirmed God’s boundless power as she spoke on the Living Water Service held in Argentina. “He who has confidence born of faith depends wholly on God for everything,” she noted. She continued, “Confidence born of faith has to do with simplicity, meekness, humility – not being proud or arrogant.” She therefore warned all to be wary of God’s ability to raise other vessels to do His work at any time. “Self-confidence that is based on might and power – anything can be used to cut it off,” she observed.

Restored To The Joy Of Salvation

“You will continue to praise God from now to eternity,” said Pastor Evelyn Joshua at the start of the Mass Prayer session.

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation,” the woman of God urged the people to pray, “and grant me a willing spirit to sustain it.” She also told them to declare, “Every word that comes out from my mouth today – receive the anointing of God.”

“Thou power of victory, freedom – fall afresh on Your children, in the name of Jesus!” Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Receive a new life, receive a new beginning, receive the favour of God, receive your divine destiny, in the name of Jesus Christ! I command Your healing hands over the lives of Your children! Be healed, be delivered, in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive your freedom from every cage, in the name of Jesus Christ! We command freedom into the lives of Your children, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

For viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Everything that stands between you and God’s promises – be removed, in the name of Jesus Christ!” She then said to all: “Take all the breakthrough keys and begin to open every closed door to your success.”

Evangelist Ope told the people to declare: “Every spirit of destruction operating in my life – Out, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Evangelist Chisom charged the people to decree: “You demon, you unclean spirit operating in my life – anywhere you are, within and without – Out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist Joseph prayed: “Spirits attacking your health, causing you sickness, disease – anywhere you are: Out, in the name of Jesus!” He also told them to declare: “You poison in my system – I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist James prayed: “Every constant experience of setback, limitation, disappointment – be cancelled, in the name of Jesus!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua asked the people to pray: “Rain on me, Lord, Your Spirit of deliverance!” He prayed: “I command that affliction to leave you! I command that disease in your blood, in your kidneys to leave you! Be released, in the name of Jesus! Affliction in your blood – be freed, in the name of Jesus! The healing Hand of Jesus on you, in the name of Jesus! Freedom in your bones, in your kidneys, in your liver! That affliction is over! That disease is over! That limitation is over! That stagnation is over!” 

A Prayer Fountain And The Living Water Service In Argentina

After The Crusade In Argentina, Pastor Evelyn Joshua declared open the Prayer Mountain of Centro Cristiano de Avivamiento, Argentina, founded by Pastor Robert Acosta. The woman of God led the ministry’s first Living Water Service and blessed the water.

“I Am Free Now,” Says Woman Healed Of Diabetes And Difficulty In Walking

Veronica from Edo State had been diabetic since 2009. “The condition led to difficulty in walking for me,” she informed the church on October 27, 2024. Doctors gave her a lumbar corset to aid her movement. “I could barely eat and I needed help most times,” she continued. After hearing about The Synagogue, Veronica had made her way to The Arena Of Liberty on October 20. “Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me and I felt instant relief,” she said with a smile. Not only did she start walking freely again but she has also seen her blood sugar reduce significantly. “I am free,” she declared while demonstrating her healing, “and I give God all the glory.” She advised others to run to God for their freedom. Her daughter, Hannah, blessed God’s name for the double healing. “Now I am relieved,” she smiled. She advised others to have faith in God.

Saved From The Jaws Of Death!

Solomon, a Nigerian based in Togo, testified about his healing from a cancerous ear swelling. “It all started in May 2021 and I had thought it was a minor thing,” he told the church on October 27, 2024. When the swelling became alarming, Solomon agreed to have surgery. Long after, Solomon’s surgical wound remained unhealing – to the alarm of nurses and doctors, who prepared him for the worst as they asked him if his parents were alive and whether they had suffered from any cancer. “Then I remembered my Anointing Water and ministered it on myself before going to sleep after praying with my family,” Solomon recalled. That night he had a dream in which at least three doctors examined him. “The head of the team said that the Anointing Water had stopped the cancer from spreading to other parts of my body,” Solomon said of the dream. The following morning, doctors confirmed that the cancer had truly not spread. That night, Solomon had another victorious dream where he saw people digging graves in his father’s compound. “I challenged those who were trying to bury me alive in that dream and one of them confessed that he had been sent to take my life,” he continued. Solomon returned to the hospital. The doctors told me that the new treatment would affect my normal cells while killing the cancer cells. Meanwhile, it was also found that Solomon’s blood sugar level had risen to over 300 mg/dL “I prayed with my Anointing Water, shedding tears and calling on God to save my life,” he told the church. By the next time he was tested, the sugar level had dropped to below 75 mg/dL! “The doctor couldn’t believe it, so he asked for another test,” he continued. The result stayed under 80 mg/dL. Regarding Solomon’s main issue of cancer, repeated tests also confirmed that everything was fine! “The doctor congratulated me on the result and said he hadn’t seen anything like that,” Solomon said, his eyes brimming with tears of gratitude to God. He advised others to put their trust in the Lord. “God Almighty will see you through,” he assured all.      

Freed From Ancestral Spirit Of Aggression!

“I’m a gentle spirit,” lied the demon in Abigail after it got exposed on October 20, 2024 during the deliverance session of The SCOAN Sunday Service. In reality, Abigail’s life was marked by aggressiveness. “I grew up in an idol-worshipping family,” she opened up the following week, during her testimony. She went back to her younger years and told of how she had come down with appendicitis and suffered a snake bite while visiting with her uncle. With those incidents over, following days of treatment at a witch doctor’s home for the snake bite, life carried on for the young woman. When she got married, however, Abigail found that the spirit of aggression had become a part of her life. “I used to beat up my children recklessly,” she admitted. After deliverance, however, the spirit of calmness has fallen upon Abigail. She advised others to rely on God’s power in a living church. Her son, Solomon, corroborated the testimony, adding that the foul spirit in his mother had almost thwarted their trip to The SCOAN. Solomon also disclosed how the family had been expecting someone else from the family to manifest during prayer. “I was surprised that she was the one that manifested,” Solomon grinned as he cast a sideward look at his sober mum. “She has been changing every day,” he confirmed. He also testified about his own transformation. “I believe all of my family have been touched,” he proclaimed. “I received the grace of God through the ministry of Prophet TB Joshua,” Solomon said. He concluded, “At God’s time everything is beautiful.”

15 Years Of Bed-Wetting Over, Osteoarthritis Gone!

“I afflicted her with bed-wetting for 15 years,” boasted the demon in Mary on October 20, 2024. “It had started after a dream in which a giant man commanded me to urinate at a spot where I had been having a chat with him,” Mary recalled on October 27, 2024. It was a dream that came in different patterns, leading to countless embarrassing situations for the 26-year-old. Although her caring mother had done all that she could for Mary, there was no change in sight. Luckily, Mary managed to find a husband. “When he discovered my problem, however, he asked me to return to my parents for a solution,” Mary said. After making her way to The SCOAN, she experienced God’s deliverance power! Since that day, her sheets have stayed dry for the glory of God! She advised others to seek a divine solution without feeling ashamed. “Don’t say anything negative to God because of your situation,” she warned others. Her mother, Helen, confirmed the testimony. She also told of her own healing from difficulty in walking due to osteoarthritis and knee pain. “Stay with God – He is the only Deliverer,” she asserted.

After 13 Years, It’s Peace, Love, Unity And A Destiny Child For Believing Couple!

On November 5, 2023, the demon in Monica manifested for many minutes. It had been responsible for her unruly behaviour, leading to disaffection in her then 12-year-old marriage. Standing beside her, Monica’s husband James confessed that he had lost interest in intimacy with her. They had only one child – a son. That day, however, the God of Prophet TB Joshua took control. After Monica’s deliverance, James declared: “Now this is my wife!” During his further testimony on October 27, 2024, James told of how marriage had brought untold hardship to his life. “I knew it was evil spirits who were behind it,” he said. On September 22, 2024, 61-year-old Jimoh sat for prayer as an evangelist ministered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. He had woken up one morning and found himself unable to walk. “That morning I had to use a walking aid,” the housing developer recalled. Consequently, he couldn’t do his work effectively and had to rely on what he had kept by. “I couldn’t supplement the income on the ground,” he said on October 27, 2024.
