Are you on the verge of giving up, of ending it all, failing to realise that there is still hope for you – so much hope, in fact? Assured of the grace, mercy and compassion of the Son of David, those in The Synagogue on February 23, 2025 proceeded with courage as they offered a sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise to their Maker. They thanked Him for sheltering them under His mighty wings and restoring their testimonies. “You’ve Been The King/Since The Dawn Of Time,” sang Kayode of The SCOAN. After that solo rendition, the full choir took over and led the people on many songs that got Heaven’s attention. They declared that all power and might belong to the Almighty, even as they pled for mercy to locate them through the recreative power of the Holy Spirit. 

For his sermon, entitled “There Is Still Hope”, Evangelist Joseph read from 1 Peter 1:3 and Jeremiah 29:11. He also cited Mark 4:35-41, noting that “Those who put their hope and trust in God Almighty can never be hopeless.” It was a message of hope that spoke to the situation of many of God’s people who are currently in their silent season – a time when it seems prayers are not being answered when in fact the believer is being prepared for the mother of miracles. “As long as Christ is involved in the matter, there is hope,” the preacher stated.  

Referring to the story about the storm in Mark 4:35-41, Evangelist Joseph urged congregants to avoid panicking during times of crisis but to rely on Jesus Christ’s saving power. “There is someone on board with you that will still your storm,” he assured the people, “and calm every noisy wind around you.” He then cited many scenarios that might cause some to fret and urged the people to repose their hope in the Solid Rock, Jesus Christ. “You are not a write-off,” he insisted.

Accordingly, he charged the people to make positive confessions only while staying focused and to surrender themselves to God’s reshaping and reforming plans. As he ended the sermon, he reminded the people, “Nothing is hopeless to those who put their hope in God.”

Touched For Renewal

“May today favour you, in the name of Jesus Christ,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua proclaimed upon the people on joining them for the Prayer Line ministration.

Raising her face towards Heaven, the woman of God prayed: “Father Lord, we bless Your holy name. Jesus Christ, we thank You. Holy Spirit, we honour You. Father, we praise You because You alone are worthy. We ask by the Holy Spirit that You open closed doors for us today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Almighty God, we ask by the Holy Spirit that You take everything we’ve brought before You today—our thoughts, our words, our meditations, our prayers, our complaints—and turn them to joyful celebration.

Father, we raise our voices in prayer for those whose days have lost meaning and purpose. Almighty God, touch them for renewal, in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for those who hide their pain, their hurt, their fears under the pretext of self-confidence. Almighty God, heal their brokenness, in the name of Jesus Christ! Father, let our days be Yours to order…. Almighty God, let our desires be nothing – only to seek and follow You, in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray! Thank You, Jesus! Thank You, Lord!”  

At the Prayer Line, the Word, the Spirit and faith combined to bring succour to the suffering, hope to the hopeless and liberation to those in bondage. As each person received a touch from Heaven, every raging storm in their life became still!

For the pregnant women who showed up in faith, it was their day to step into divine freedom through the power that passes all human understanding!

As the Lord’s battle raged on against satan’s kingdom, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists relied on the Word and Spirit to break more chains of sickness and trouble in the people’s lives.

Also not left out of God’s mercy were those in the auditorium, with many demons confessing before taking their leave, thereby paving the way for the people’s freedom.

And during the One-On-One session, the anointing equally exposed and expelled every stubborn demon!

A Fruitful Faith Walk!

“Get ready to have a faith walk with the Lord,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the congregation on joining them for the Mass Prayer session.

Firing the first salvo into satan’s kingdom, she declared: “By the power of God, every satanic checkpoint to your peace, to your breakthrough will be sealed, in the name of Jesus Christ! By the power of God, all that seems unmovable will be moved and you will cease from your captivity, in Jesus’ name!  May God give you rest from all your troubles, in the name of Jesus Christ! May the Lord put an end to all your troubles, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua continued: “Whatever that challenge may be—receive the anointing of healing, of deliverance, of freedom, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be healed! Be freed! Be delivered from that affliction, from that disease, in the name of Jesus Christ! May the power of God subdue every trouble in your life, in the name of Jesus Christ! I decree the dew of Heaven over your life, over your career, over your way, over your family—in the name of Jesus Christ!”

For the viewers she prayed: “In the name of Jesus Christ, by the Blood of Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Ghost—we command the healing power of God into your life! Everything that is dead in your body, in your system—begin to resurrect, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every darkness within you—receive light, in the name of Jesus Christ! In your health, business, marriage—receive light, in the name of Jesus Christ. Every garment of filthiness, dirtiness—we command it to be removed, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Evangelist Ope urged the people to decree: “Every spirit that steals, kills and destroys in my life—anywhere you are: Out! You spirit of unfruitfulness, barrenness operating in my life: Out!”

Taking his turn, Evangelist James charged people of faith to declare: “Every demonic covenant over my life, over my family—be broken! Every ancestral spirit, every family idol tormenting my life, my family—I command you, in the name of Jesus: Out!”

First, Evangelist Joseph prayed for the people: “All spirits of affliction causing you sickness, causing you disease—anywhere they are: Out!” Next, he asked them to declare: “You sickness in my body, in my bones—I order you: Out!”

On his part, Evangelist Chisom told the people to pray: “You spirit operating in my business, in my career, causing me setback, disappointment, limitation—anywhere you are: Out!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua decreed: “Whatever medium, whatever means satan must have used to connect you—be disconnected, in the name of Jesus! I release your health, in the name of Jesus! Your career—be released, in the name of Jesus! May your sins be forgiven! You are delivered, in the name of Jesus! Every finger of satan in your kidneys, lungs, blood—Out!”

Anointing Breaks Scourge Of Difficulty In Walking

“I know Jesus Christ will heal me today,” asserted Tunumu before receiving prayer on February 16, 2025. Minutes later, a lumbar corset fastened around his waist, he sat soberly before Pastor Evelyn Joshua, who stood on the believer’s authority to lay an anointed hand on him. “I had felt a sudden sharp pain as I bent down to lift an object at work,” he told the church on February 23, 2025. While searching for a solution, Tunumu had consulted bonesetters, doctors and witch doctors. “But I didn’t see any improvement,” he reported.

His wife had then managed to get him to visit The SCOAN for prayer. “Before receiving prayer, Tunumu had been feeling unusually hot all over. “I asked my wife to get me water,” he said. The water didn’t come in time, however. “The ushers then attended to me briefly before Pastor Evelyn Joshua got to my corner,” he carried on. “I felt a flush of cold air wash over my body at that point,” he recalled. When he got back up, Tunumu started walking freely again. After demonstrating his healing, he advised others to seek help only from Jesus Christ.  

Besides confirming the testimony, Tunumu’s wife went back to 2012, when her daughter was suffering from an ailment that had defied solution. “Our daughter had got healed after we prayed along on Emmanuel TV,” she informed congregants. Based on that experience, she had ensured to bring her husband to The SCOAN. “I kept asking God to have mercy on my husband,” she went on. Now peace is restored in the home, as the source of conflict has been removed. She advised others, “Believe in God, no matter your situation.” 

For Diosdao, There’s No More Drug Peddling or Gambling!

Diosdao had joined bad company while in school. “I was hiding my activities from my mother,” he admitted on February 23, 2025. He soon became well known among teachers and pupils—his customers. “Things got so bad that I was expelled from school, to my mother’s utter disappointment,” Disodao said, knowing that his mother had paid a fortune to get him into the school. Moving to another school, he continued doing the same thing. “My friends and I would lodge at expensive hotels, where we would drink ourselves to stupor,” he confessed. He also spoke about going to different clubs and getting compromised security guards to throw out other revellers. “I was also stealing my mother’s money and wasting it on gambling,” he continued.

Admitting his mother’s special interest in him as an only son, Diosdao told of how she had done everything to bring him to The SCOAN for prayer on February 16. “Pastor Evelyn Joshua looked straight into my eyes as she was about to pray for me,” he recalled. In the end, the anointing worked wonders on Diosdao’s mind and body, knocking him to the floor. In the course of the week, he persisted in his spiritual journey, expressing regret about his past and asking God for mercy. Now he no longer desires hard drugs and has become a cooperative child. He advised the youth to embrace God. Confirming the transformation, Diosdao’s mother urged other parents: “Do not give up on your children.”

A Glorious End To 16 Years Of Sorrowful Nights!

For all her life, 16-year-old Abosede had been a bed-wetter. As she grew older, she began to understand that her problem was spiritual. “A male figure used to appear in my dream and tell me to urinate in a certain pot,” she told the church on February 23, 2025. The demon causing the dreams also made Abosede an unruly child. “I used to feel sad about my situation but I couldn’t open up to my schoolmates,” she said. Since receiving her deliverance on February 16, however, Abosede has kept her bed dry – for the glory of the Lord! “I received a touch alongside my sister,” she recalled. “No more anger in me,” she told the church while asking them to have faith in God. Her sister, Esther, confirmed both testimonies, saying, “Thank You, Jesus!” She ended by quoting Psalm 30:5, declaring: “This is our morning.”

Anointing Rescues Benjamin From Death’s Jaws!

The day he saw his son Benjamin in a virtually lifeless state after a fire accident, Emmanuel was moved to tears. “It was a most sorrowful sight to behold,” he recalled tearfully on February 23, 2025, during his family’s testimony. In 2024 he had attended The SCOAN Living Water Service and had gone home with some of the Living Water. “I called on the God of Prophet TB Joshua, begging Him to show mercy on my son as I ministered the water on his badly burnt body and barely recognisable face,” Emmanuel explained.

Within a month, Benjamin recovered miraculously. “I had felt calm in my body after my father ministered the water on me, so I slept peacefully that night,” he said, noting that only God saved his life. “I consider it a privilege to be alive and to be able to walk so freely,” he continued. He advised the youth to obey their parents and to have faith in God.

• Writing from South Africa, Jenvier testified about securing a permanent teaching position at a French-speaking school. Her asylum-seeking husband also secured permanent residency in the country. Jenvier had received prayer on the Emmanuel TV Prayer Line in December 2024.
• Faith from Nigeria got healed after calling the Prayer Line. She had had a dream in which someone gave her an egg that broke as she was accepting it. Now she no longer feels sharp pain in her chest and stomach!
• Gertrude from Uganda had suffered from throat pain for nine years. She had been looking for a solution all over but had found none. In December 2024, she had called the Prayer Line. The following morning, she had vomited blood while washing her mouth. Since then, the throat pain has vanished.
• Moses from Nigeria felt pain for over a month, until he called the Prayer Line on December 24, 2024. Thank You, Lord!
• Beryl used to have nightmares in which she ate different things and kept seeing her mother as a dead person. She also had a family member who was critically ill. She called the Prayer Line on their behalf, holding the person’s picture. During the prayer, the demons in Beryl manifested and the sick child also received her healing, as Beryl would later hear.  
• Julius from Namibia called over his pregnant wife, whose baby was in breech. He had called the Prayer Line in late 2024. By the next scan, the baby had moved to the normal position. By mid-December 2024, the baby was delivered naturally and without incident.
