Continuing the race of love and unity, God’s people gathered in The Synagogue for intense worship on November 24, 2024. They were paying heed to 1 Peter 2:1-2, where the Bible charges Christians to lay aside all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy and evil speaking while seeking the pure milk of the Word. The SCOAN Choristers led them in songs of meditation, worship and praise, moving from one Spirit-lifting number to another. “Excellent Is Your Name!” they began. Then they called for God’s Spirit to pray through them. With the aura of the Holy Spirit having overshadowed The Arena Of Liberty, it was inevitable for miracles to happen in the name of Jesus!
The Race Of Love And Unity
When she took charge of the pulpit for about half an hour, Evangelist Jemila’s passion for the Word was obvious as she gave her sermon. She read from 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 and Hebrews 12:1 before announcing her message title as “The Race Of Love And Unity”. She cited different Bible verses and stressed the numerous ways in which God’s Spirit manifests in the Kingdom. “All members are dear to God,” she said, “and each of us has different ministries, different gifts and talents, but are still one body in Christ.”
Evangelist Jemila also referred to John 10:10-29, Ephesians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 11:14, 1 Peter 5:8, Revelation 12:14, Matthew 5:43, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27, John 13:34-35 and Jeremiah 29:11. She urged Christians to unite in fighting the world of darkness and helping to keep sin at bay instead of engaging in negative competition and condemning fellow Christians whose gifts may differ from theirs.
Her point being that God uses His vessels in different ways and the ultimate focus of each Christian should be how to run a successful Christian race. Evangelist Jemila encouraged her listeners to embrace unity and love, bearing in mind that no one is perfect. “We are not in a competition against one another,” she reminded the people. She asked the people to pray for more of God’s love, then told them to say: “I love you, neighbour, with the love of Christ.”
Met At The Point Of Their Needs
“May your sacrifice of love never be in vain,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua said as she joined the church for the Prayer Line ministration.
The woman of God proceeded to pray: “Father Lord, we bless Your holy name. We come to You this morning with our hearts full of praise; we are appreciating You for all the good things You are doing in our lives – the one You have done and the one that is yet to be accomplished. We believe You are there for us at all times. O Lord God Almighty, we know that we live in a world of trials and temptations; we live in a world that is unknown, a world of uncertainties, but Your Word promises that You will never leave or forsake us.
And so, Lord God Almighty, we ask You this morning: ‘Let Your mercy continue to locate us’; let Your compassion wash us from all iniquities and let the Holy Spirit set us aside for Your glory.’ Father, meet us at the point of our needs today. Let Your healing power, Your deliverance power, Your mercy, Your blessing power fall afresh on us today, in the name of Jesus. Father, give us testimonies that will shame the world; give us testimonies that will shame our enemies. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray! Thank You, Lord! Thank You, Father!”
Many received healing for difficulty in walking, knee injury, asthma, difficulty in breathing, difficulty in stooling, and knee injury, among other issues. Indeed, efficacious prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ is like the Balm of Gilead!
God Almighty also used the faculties of His servant to bring succour to pregnant women, keeping them covered for their day of delivery and beyond.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists then continued the ministration of prayers of healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus, commanding relief upon cases of swollen belly, brain tumour, erectile dysfunction, skin disease, hernia, mental disorder, piles, epilepsy, and heart/liver disease.
God’s servants also moved around The SCOAN Auditorium, laying anointed hands on the people and exposing the root causes of trouble in their lives.
“You demon – out, in Jesus’ name!” declared The SCOAN Evangelists during the One-On-One session. For sure, at the mention of the name of Jesus Christ, every knee shall bow!
The Salvation Race Is No Competition
“We need to work as a team to run this race peacefully,” observed Pastor Evelyn Joshua as she reinforced the theme of Evangelist Jemila’s sermon. She went on: “But as we are running, we must also know that we are not in competition with one another – you are not in competition with anyone.” She therefore charged the people to run their race with the love of God and love for fellow humans. Finally, she warned: “Do not look at the lives of others and feel that your life is short of God’s expectations.”

Man Vomits Office Pins – God’s Awesome Wonder In The Synagogue!
During the deliverance session, a man vomited a number of office pins – indications of the evil deposits in his system. “I went to so many places for power and they invoked different things into me,” he said, asking for further help. Pastor Evelyn Joshua said, “He will stay here for the next one week.”
Cancelled – Every Evil Prophetic Word!
Pastor Evelyn Joshua asked the people to say: “Lord God, take more of me and give me more of You.”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua read from Psalm 4:1 and prayed: “Every spirit of deception, manipulation, confusion, distraction – be exposed, in the name of Jesus! Every spirit that has been tormenting your life – we command it to be exposed today, in the name of Jesus! Every yoke, every bondage that has been frustrating your efforts – we command them to be exposed, in the name of Jesus!”
The woman of God prayed: “We command every sickness, every affliction, every disease tormenting your life to get out right now, in the name of Jesus! Whatever satan may have deposited in your system – we speak life into you right now, in the name of Jesus! Healing in your body, healing in your soul, healing in your spirit, in the name of Jesus! We cancel every prophetic pronouncement against your health, in the name of Jesus! Receive your healing!”
God’s servant continued to pray: “May the healing anointing of God flow from your head to your toe! Every veil of evil – we command it out of your life, in the name of Jesus! Receive your breakthrough! Be freed from every entanglement of satan, in the name of Jesus! We command the power of Heaven to rest upon your life, job, career, family, marriage and all that has to do with you, in the name of Jesus!”
For viewers all over the world Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Every resistance to God’s will in your life – be removed, in the name of Jesus Christ, by the Blood of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Ghost! May the reward of the saints be your portion today, in the name of Jesus! Every power challenging your Sonship in Christ Jesus today – we command it to leave, in the name of Jesus. May the light of God shine upon your home for breakthrough! May the light of God shine upon your family, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist Chisom prayed: “That spirit that is not of God from your past life, tormenting your present and your future – out, in the name of Jesus!” He asked the people to decree: “You spirit that is not of God operating in my life – Out, in the name of Jesus! You unclean spirit, you are darkness; anywhere you are operating in my life – I command you by the light of God: Out!”
Taking over, Evangelist Ope told the people to pray: “Every spirit holding me bound: Out! You spirit of limitation operating in my family – I command you: Out!”
Evangelist James urged congregants to say: “You spirit of affliction operating in my life – loose your grip, in the name of Jesus! You sickness, disease in my body – I command you: Out!”
Next, Evangelist Joseph asked the people to pray: “You demonic stronghold holding my breakthrough, blocking my finances, caging me down to failure – I command you: Out!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua stood on the believer’s authority: “Every sickness, disease, infirmity – wherever it is located in your blood – I command it out, in the name of Jesus! That fibroid, that cancer, that diabetes, that hypertension, that liver problem – out, in the name of Jesus!”
Prophet TB Joshua told the people, “Whatever medium satan must have used to connect your career, finances – begin to break the medium, begin to break the chain!” He prayed: “Be released, in the name of Jesus! That career, that business – be released, in the name of Jesus!” He also told the people to declare: “Someone is releasing me in the person of the Holy Ghost!” The man of God concluded: “You are released, in the name of Jesus! Whatever the enemy of your soul must have used – sickness, poverty, hardship, failure – to connect you to himself – be released, in the name of Jesus! Rejoice!”

Grandmother Gets Her Groove Back!
Her case was difficulty in walking. She had tried medical help for some time but saw mixed results. That was the situation with 70-year-old Elizabeth, a grandmother who had sustained a serious muscle strain while at the gym. “Subsequently, tests showed that I had lumbar spondylosis and osteoarthritis,” she told the church on November 24, 2024. With her daily activities being affected by the situation, Elizabeth had decided to visit The SCOAN for prayer on November 17. “After Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me, I found that I could walk freely again,” she said. She demonstrated all that she could now do. “I no longer wobble when walking,” she confirmed with her fluid movement. She advised others to depend on God, too. “Use the gym carefully, however,” she added.
Joy Breaks Free From Household Demons!
“No way – she will never marry!” That was the empty boast from the demon living inside Joy, during the service of November 17, 2024. Of course, moments after the boast, the demon was ejected by God’s Spirit. A week later, Joy returned for her testimony. She told of how the idols of her father’s house had been frustrating her efforts. “It all started with my mother, who was forced to start appeasing the idols of her husband’s house, following various issues,” Joy said. The demons caused many problems for Joy, including in her relationships and business ventures. If I did anything with you, you would have issues,” she confessed. Since her deliverance, however, things are now looking quite bright for the young woman. “Keep your faith in God,” she urged others.
No Longer Slave To A Spirit Husband!
During the service of November 17, 2024, the demon in Blessing got exposed – and expelled. Although that demon had insisted on not quitting, it stood no chance against the Holy Spirit. And so, the following Sunday, Blessing testified. “Together with my sisters, I had been facing the torment of a spirit husband since childhood,” she opened up. When Blessing got married and fell pregnant, the demon in her managed to eat up her foetus, giving her a miscarriage. She added, “My sisters were also facing marital problems because of spirit-husband affliction.” Moreover, the demon affected every business set up by Blessing’s husband. “My husband kept urging me to come for deliverance in The Synagogue,” she stated.
Since her deliverance, Blessing has been witnessing blissful sleep. “No more nightmares and bad dreams,” she said. She advised married people to seek God’s help over their problems. Her husband, Godwin, told of how he had once sensed the presence of the spirit husband as he lay in bed with his wife. “Although she had refused to come initially, my wife finally agreed to come here,” he said with relief. He expressed his happiness about the deliverance, noting that he had viewed everything from a spiritual perspective. “God’s Spirit is now leading my wife and she is ready to continue her education,” he said. He advised partners to learn how to fight the right battle, using God’s Word.
“Favour Has Been Coming My Way,” Says Woman Separated From Spirit Husband
Ruth used to see a man come to her in the dream. “It started in my childhood,” she said on November 24, 2024, “but I didn’t know how to tell my parents about it.” Eventually, she had to open up to her mother, who then told her father. Although she was making money, Ruth couldn’t do much for herself with it. “I kept having to spend money on treating illnesses,” she said. She also narrated how she had lost different relationships for no reason. “Each man would just leave me without a reason,” she said.
A week before, Ruth had finally agreed to come to The SCOAN for prayer. As the prayer of deliverance rained on her, Ruth vomited the evil deposits in her system. Since then, people have been seeing her in a new light. “Favour has been coming my way and I can account for my money now,” she added. She advised other young people: “Have faith in God; He will do it for you.” Her father advised parents to keep their children in the way of the Lord.
When A ‘Tech Bro’ Meets Jesus Christ, Crack Cocaine Vanishes!
Because he wanted to be able to stay awake for work, ‘tech bro’ Samuel got into the habit of using crack cocaine. “I became addicted to it and needed ever more doses to stay awake,” he told the church on November 24, 2024. The addiction had drained his finances severely, forcing him to stay stagnant. “I couldn’t reinvest in my business,” he said, “as I could spend over 300 thousand naira per night.” The Sunday before, Samuel had sat for prayer in The Synagogue. “After Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me, I thought nothing of it,” he disclosed.
When he got home later that day, however, Samuel found that he had lost the urge to smoke. Realising the transformation that had happened in his life, Samuel weeded out all the ‘bad’ contacts on his phone. Since then, he has been leading a healthy life. He advised those addicted to substances to seek God’s help. “Confide in your parents,” he added. His parents urged others to monitor their children closely.
Favour Has Her Baby With Divine Ease!
On June 23, 2024 Favour received prayer over her pregnancy as The SCOAN Evangelists ministered. The demon in Favour had manifested during that prayer session, threatening to prevent the birth of the baby. Earlier the demon had appeared to Favour in the dream, trying to force a miscarriage. “The following morning the doctor told me I was having preterm labour,” Favour recalled, during her testimony on November 24, 2024. She had made her way to church in June to thwart the devil’s plans. “When my day of delivery came,” she continued, “I had baby Samuel so easily that it surprised my husband.” She advised people to believe in God. Her husband recalled ministering the Anointing Water on the pregnancy. He advised others: “Just believe – everything is possible for those who believe.”
