Where do you get the best source of life? With mightily anointed songs composed by God’s servant Prophet TB Joshua, congregants called down the Host Of Heaven during the intense worship session of Sunday, May 5, 2024. Among the Prophet TB Joshua composed songs that brought down celestial presences were ‘Holy Spirit Breathe In Me’ and ‘Abba Father’. The more the people sang, the hotter the atmosphere in The SCOAN Auditorium became for foul elements that had nursed the hope of hindering God’s work. In the end, God’s Spirit had free rein throughout the service.  

For the sermon, Evangelist Chisom spoke on the topic “THE BEST CHOICE”, for which he read from John 14:27 and John 16:33. “Everyone is on a journey,” he began, “and in this journey of life impatience is too costly.” He continued, “Because of this impatience, many want blessing at all costs, without minding the source.” In the rest of the message, Evangelist Chisom explained the importance of drawing from God only.

“Whatever that is sourced from satan comes with conditions and ends in misery,” the evangelist noted. Thus, he advised congregants to match their actions with their professions. One cannot claim not to be part of the world while still turning to the world for solution whenever one’s peace is threatened. The preacher cited Matthew 11:28 and other bits of Scripture as he advised congregants to avoid trying to skip unfavourable situations.

“God cannot maintain what He did not form,” he cautioned, meaning that a Christian should not be so hasty as to accept anything from satan. “Whatever that is not sourced from the Best Source cannot stand life’s curse,” he maintained, for “there is no neutral source – no sitting on the fence.”

In the light of this message, dear reader, who is your source – Jesus Christ or satan?

The Lord Did Not Forsake Them!

“If you know you are a friend of God, let me hear you shout hallelujah!” Pastor Evelyn Joshua said to the people as she joined them for the Prayer Line ministration.

The woman of God urged the people to give thanks to God for all that He does in their lives. She then led them in prayer: “Father Lord, we bless Your holy name. Everlasting King Of Glory, we want to feel Your hands in our hands. We want to hear You say, ‘Go, I am with you.’ Father, You say You will never leave us or forsake us. Almighty God, we want to know You more and more and more in our daily lives. And so, we ask You to take control here today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, let Your mercy, Your favour and compassion speak for us today, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Spirit of the Holy Ghost, Spirit of the Living God, Spirit of Jesus Christ – come and be with us. Lead us, O Lord! Teach us, O Lord. Let us do things the way You would love them to be done, in the name of Jesus Christ! Father, touch Your children today for greatness, touch them for breakthrough, touch them for healing, touch them for deliverance. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray! Thank You, Jesus! Thank You, Lord!”

God’s limitless power manifested inside The Arena Of Liberty over a broad range of issues, such as severe spine and hip pain, asthma, neck stiffness, sickle cell anaemia, swollen body, goitre, hernia, jaw cancer, whitlow, leg injury/ulcers, mental disorder, drug/alcohol addiction, epilepsy, lung/pancreatic tumour, prostate cancer, skin disease, stomach cancer, diabetes, and osteoarthritis, etc.

Pregnant women also sought the face of Jesus Christ over their issues – and the Lord granted their requests!

Standing on the believer’s authority, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists continued to unsettle the kingdom of darkness as they attacked the spiritual sources of congregants’ problems.  

And in the One-On-One session, the Word of God in Philippians 2:9-11 manifested yet again, as it rescued some congregants from stubborn demons.

Dispelled: All Troubles Threatening The People’s Peace!

To kick-start the Mass Prayer session, Evangelist James assured the people, “Today is your day of freedom.” 

Evangelist James cited Isaiah 54:15 and decreed: “Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake, in the name of Jesus! Whatever plan of the enemy against your soul – be cancelled, in the name of Jesus! Every unclean spirit operating in your life, waging against your soul, fighting against your life – in the name of Jesus, Out!” He also told the people to declare: “You unclean spirit, familiar spirit waging war against my soul – I command you, in the name of Jesus: Out!”

Evangelist Joseph told congregants to pray: “You familiar spirit, contrary spirit, demon, evil spirit manipulating my life – Holy Ghost Fire: Out!”

Evangelist Ope told the people to pray: “Every hidden sickness in my body – hear the voice of the Lord; I speak to you right now: Out! You sickness – anywhere you are hiding in my body, I call you out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist Chisom told the people to pray: “You spirit that is not of God monitoring my business, career – causing me limitation – Out, in the name of Jesus!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the people to pray: “God Almighty, help me in this hour of prayer.” She cited 2 Chronicles 7:14 and told the people to request: “Father, subject my situation under your control.”

The woman of God declared: “Every sickness, every affliction – begin to yield to the voice of your prayer, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every trouble, every entanglement – begin to yield! Every family curse – loose their grip! Every spirit of ne’er-do-well – loose their grip! Receive your freedom! Every sickness threatening your health – give way right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every trouble threatening your peace – give way right now, in the name of Jesus! Every danger threatening your life – we say give way right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Power of deliverance – fall afresh on Your children right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every spirit of entanglement – we command you to loose your grip right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua asked viewers all over the world to proclaim: “My situation, my trouble, my struggle, my shame will not escape the anointing of God.” She prayed for them: “Spirit of addiction – leave, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every spirit of lust, alcoholism, smoking, all that is not of God – we command it out of your life, in the name of Jesus Christ! Healing in your body, soul, spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “Lord Jesus, hear the thoughts of their heart; grant their requests, Lord!” He told the people: “Those obstacles in your business, career, family, marriage – begin to cage them. Every movement of familiar spirits, demonic spirits, satanic spirits, evil spirits in your life, way, career, marriage – begin to cage them!”

In the Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua continued: “You darkness, let there be light! Command light in your way, business, career, marriage! I liberate your heart, in the name of Jesus! Your heart – contact the Holy Spirit! Let there be freedom! Be restored, freed, in the name of Jesus! Be healed, in the name of Jesus! “The Pain That Denied Me Joy Is Now Over!”

On April 28, 2024, Maureen received prayer in The SCOAN over difficulty in walking. It had all started after an enemy attacked her in the dream. “The person injected me in the leg,” she said on May 5, 2024, “and later on I began to experience severe and persistent leg pain.” She went to hospital and doctors placed her on painkillers that she soon became uncomfortable with. “I knew I had to act in faith, so I brought my problem to God,” she continued, further disclosing that she had felt a cold sensation all over her body as Pastor Evelyn Joshua laid anointed hands on her. “I couldn’t believe I had been relieved of my pain,” she confessed. Maureen said that her children were especially delighted about the healing. “The pain that denied me my joy is now over,” she smiled. She advised others to trust God. “God knows Your needs,” she concluded.

After Her Demons Are Expelled, Precious Becomes A New Creature!

The demon in Precious claimed that it had traversed seven seas and seven forests; it also boasted that it would never allow Precious or anyone around her to prosper. However, all of that did not faze God’s servant as he commanded fire from Heaven to consume the demon, thereby freeing Precious from the evil powers of her homestead. On May 5, 2024, two Sundays after her deliverance in The SCOAN, Precious recalled how her mother had covenanted her to evil powers. “My mother told me she took me to a witch doctor when I fell ill at six months old; my problems started from then on, I believe,” she said. She told of how she started to have strange dreams. “Snakes would crawl into my private part in those dreams and a strange man was always sleeping with me there,” she continued. The demonic spirits made it hard for Precious to attract suitors that stayed. When she finally married, her marriage was devoid of peace. “I frequently attacked my husband, causing him to run away from home several times,” she confessed. On some occasions, Precious would inflict grave injuries on her husband even after begging him to return home. “A neighbour noticed my issues and advised me to visit The SCOAN for the prayer of deliverance,” she went on. To the glory of God, Precious received her deliverance during the service of April 21, 2024 – to the shame of the devil! “In any situation you find yourself, put your trust in God,” she advised others. “Only God Made It Possible For Me!” Says Academic Who Moved From Average To Excellent

In 2018, Regina, a Nigerian academic, had gone on study leave for her PhD studies in Malaysia. Owing to several factors, she had been unable to do her work as expected. “I could barely write and only managed to complete my coursework,” she said. In 2019, Regina made her way to The SCOAN for prayer. “I went home with the Anointing Water and started to minister it as I prayed,” she said. From then on, she began to write prolifically. “I just couldn’t stop writing,” she said. And when it was time to defend her thesis, Regina performed so creditably that she won multiple awards before and during her convocation.
