With their Year Of A New Name winding down, worshippers at The Synagogue assembled for a Special Healing And Deliverance Service on December 6, 2024. Knowing that seasons change, they took this time of the year to consolidate their place in God’s Kingdom. They started by asking for forgiveness of their sins. “Have mercy on me, O Lord, according to Your loving kindness,” each person prayed.
“Abba Father!” the people cried, calling down the aura of the Holy Spirit as they extolled Yahweh, the God of all flesh. So pervasive was the anointing that it penetrated congregants in body, soul and spirit. With the entire SCOAN premises now so saturated, it was miracles galore in the mighty name of Jesus Christ as God’s servants stood on the believers’ authority.
And in the praise session, the people danced like winners.
A Sermon On The Times And The Seasons!
“There is a time and season for everything,” noted Pastor Evelyn Joshua on joining the people for the sermon. Her reference to time’s constant movement was a fitting recollection of Solomon’s wisdom in Ecclesiastes 3. But the actual proof text for the day’s message, “Seasons Change”, was from Acts 9:1-19 – the passage where Paul gets arrested by the Holy Spirit while on his way to Damascus to persecute the believers.
“Paul’s journey to Damascus was a way of fighting a wrong battle,” said the woman of God. She explained that God had allowed Paul to continue persecuting His people until the time was right for his conversion. “Man is made for a purpose,” she continued, “and that purpose is for us to do good in this short life.” On the change of the seasons, she warned the people against holding on to the memories of their bad seasons. “Do not forget that every season is for a purpose,” she reminded the church. She continued, “Paul was broken, wounded because of sin. His sin was set before him and he realised how bad it was and he cast himself upon the mercy of God.”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the people to pray in their dark hours, listening to their inner voice and acting in faith for their assured victory. “You need to have an encounter with Christ Jesus,” she insisted, “so that He can take hold of your heart.” As she ended the sermon, she prayed: “The power that convinced Paul of his unworthiness will make you worthy in the name of Jesus! The power that heard Paul’s inner voice of prayer will hear yours today, in the name of Jesus!”
God’s Amazing Power In The Synagogue!
After the sermon, the woman of God moved straight to the Prayer Line to minister healing, deliverance and breakthrough for the restoration of souls.
Among the cases were difficulty in walking/breathing, severe neck/spine pain, glaucoma, diabetes, heart enlargement, low sperm count, waist pain, arthritis, and asthma.
Other cases included bedwetting, high blood pressure, sinusitis, partial stroke, skin disease, drug addiction, kidney failure, lung cancer and hernia.
As God’s power flooded the auditorium, manifestations occurred as the people received their freedom from spiritual bondage!
Pregnant women were also covered with the Blood of Jesus Christ.
In one of the more instantaneous cases, a woman vomited the root causes of issues in her body!
Those ill in body, those in bondage and those seeking breakthrough all received a touch sanctioned by Heaven as they stated their case before the Lord.
Glory be to God Almighty, The SCOAN Special Healing And Deliverance Service 2024 was yet another demonstration of the miraculous!
Expelled: All Spirits Not Of God!
“Give thanks to God for all the day long and for all He has done,” Evangelist Chisom told the people at the start of the Mass Prayer session.
Evangelist Chisom prayed: “All spirits that are not of God operating in your life – Out, in the name of Jesus!”
The next prayer point came from Evangelist James, who told the people to declare: “Every chain holding me down to where I do not belong – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist Joseph declared: “All spirits causing you affliction, disease – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!” He also charged the church to decree: “You sickness in my body, bones, kidneys – anywhere you are: Out!”
On his part, Evangelist Ope told the people to pray: “You spirit of hardship operating in my life – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Rounding off the Mass Prayer session, Pastor Evelyn Joshua raised a song of gratitude.

“The God Of Prophet TB Joshua Healed Me For Free!”
Fashion designer Janet had been involved in an accident five years ago. “The accident led to lumbar spondylosis, making it difficult for me to walk,” she told the church on December 6, 2024. Before the accident, Janet had injured her back while working at home. She was unable to do her job and had to rely on several drugs, massage machines and different walking aids. “I had no fewer than four lumbar corsets but I still wasn’t comfortable,” she explained. On the 27th of October 2024, the Gabon-based Nigerian finally made her way to The SCOAN for prayer, having missed her flight three times previously.
On sighting Pastor Evelyn Joshua, Janet spoke in faith as she submitted for prayer. “It felt as if fire was flowing through my body as she prayed for me,” reported Janet. Since then, she has been moving freely without feeling any pain. Janet advised others to ignore those who scoff at God’s power in The Synagogue. “I had spent so much money without seeing any results but the God of Prophet TB Joshua healed me for free,” she concluded.
Military Man Regains His Vitality!
Despite his trim, athletic figure, Moses walked with the gait of an ailing man, his footsteps slow and studied. Indeed, the Master Warrant Officer was a man with a burdened body. “Doctors had diagnosed me with osteoarthritis and lumbar spondylosis,” he told the church on Friday, December 6, 2024. Five days earlier, he had received prayer during The SCOAN Sunday Service.
In the search for a solution, Moses, a fitness enthusiast, had ingested numerous drugs over the years but his body had stayed the same. But prayer had changed the situation. “It felt as if cold water was poured on my body,” Moses disclosed, “as the woman of God prayed for me.” Since that day, he has returned to winning ways – healed for the glory of God! He advised others to take their issues to God.
Anointing Heals Four Years Of Difficulty In Walking
On December 1, 2024, Aisha, a Cameroonian based in Nigeria’s Delta State, received prayer for lumbar spondylosis. The condition had started in 2021 and by the following year the typist couldn’t do her work anymore. “I started desperately searching for a solution but it was all to no avail,” Aisha said on December 6.
Along the line, further tests also showed that Aisha had peptic ulcer and fibroids. Determined to overcome her bodily troubles, she had made her way to The SCOAN. “Once Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me, I felt instant relief,” a joyous Janet stated. Couple Healed Of Difficulty In Walking And Asthma
It was on November 24, 2024 that Gabriel received prayer over a condition that had forced him into early retirement. On the same day his wife Patience also received prayer for her asthmatic condition. “For eight years,” Gabriel started on December 6, 2024, “I suffered from difficulty in walking due to lumbar spondylosis and arthritis.”

Sometime in June 2024 caregiver Maua, a Congolese based in the United States of America, had woken up with knee pain that prevented her from doing her work. “For two weeks I was confined at home,” she told the church on December 6, 2024. Although she was receiving medications, Maua realised that God alone could perfect her healing. “I finally made it to The SCOAN,” she said, “and Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me.” Maua said about herself, “Now I am alive again!” She advised others to believe in the power of Jesus Christ.
Six Years After, Victor Testifies About His Freedom From Addiction!
On the 28th of January 2018, Victor, a Tanzanian, had been in The SCOAN for prayer over the problem of smoking addiction. He had started smoking for fun just after leaving secondary school. When he made it to college outside his country, Victor continued smoking. “When I finished school,” he disclosed, “I became maladjusted and unwilling to engage in meaningful employment despite my father’s efforts.” On finding out about The SCOAN through his father, Victor started watching Emmanuel TV and praying along with God’s servant.
“After Prophet TB Joshua prayed for me, my eight years of addiction vanished,” Victor said, fighting back tears as his eyes reddened with the pain of regret at his past life. Regarding his years of self-destruction caused by addiction to smoking, he said: “I couldn’t keep a relationship in those days.” Today, however, Victor has a supportive wife beside him. “All of that urge is gone,” he assured congregants. He advised parents to look out for their children. His wife also glorified God for the transformation.
Elderly Man Gets Swift Healing From Severe Fire Burns
On August 4, 2024, seated in his car outside The SCOAN, Yemi received prayer as Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered. His legs had lost their first layer of covering, exposing pinky flesh. “My gas cooker had exploded as I tried to turn it on,” he recalled on December 6, 2024. As Yemi languished silently in pain, his traditional ruler friend had happened to call him then. “He heard my low voice and asked what was happening to me,” Yemi continued. His friend then asked him to prepare to visit The SCOAN for prayer. “I felt cool relief once the woman of God prayed for me,” Yemi testified. “I knew that my healing had been perfected right at that moment,” he said.
On returning home, he had continued taking his medications. Given Yemi’s age, his recovery from the fire burns is nothing short of a miracle. “Jesus is alive; fear Him,” he advised.
