SCOAN Sunday Service (July 07, 2026): Come Out of Yesterday

The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir

The SCOAN Sunday Service of July 5, 2026, was another opportunity to connect with Heaven. By the abiding mercy of God, worshippers from across the world gathered once again in faith at The Arena Of Liberty for another life-transforming Sunday Service.

The service began with a solemn reminder from James 4:8: “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” As the congregation reflected on the Scripture, they approached the Throne of Grace in humility, seeking God’s forgiveness and asking that His light would continue to guide their steps.

The SCOAN Choir

The SCOAN Choir ushered the congregation into God’s presence with soul-stirring songs of worship and thanksgiving. In one accord, the people lifted their voices in adoration, proclaiming, “We Give You All the Glory / We Worship You, Our Lord / We Praise You, for You Are Worthy.”

Worshippers gathered inside The Arena of Liberty, while countless others connected from around the world, affirming that God’s presence knows no geographical boundaries. As they united in faith, they placed a demand on God’s anointing, confident that His supply always exceeds every human need.

The choir led the congregation into another session of heartfelt worship, and the atmosphere grew increasingly charged with the presence of the Holy Spirit. Together, they joyfully celebrated God’s unfailing grace as they sang Eze Ebube (Wonderful King), expressing gratitude for His grace and faithfulness.

Yielding completely to the leading of the Holy Spirit, the congregation continued in earnest worship and cried out with one voice, “Spirit Pray Through Me!” This heartfelt expression of faith prepared their hearts for another unforgettable encounter with the Living God.

A DELIVERY SUPERVISED BY JESUS

Sharing her testimony during the Live Sunday Service of July 5, 2026, Josephine’s seven-month-old miracle baby, Josetta, sat on her lap smiling, hale and hearty.

Here is her testimony:

When Josephine conceived, what should have been a joyful season quickly became a battle of faith.

Troubling nightmares marked the beginning of her pregnancy, and by the third month she began bleeding unexpectedly.

Before rushing to hospital, she prayed along with Emmanuel TV. Medical examination later revealed that her cervix had begun to open prematurely, raising concerns about the pregnancy.

Refusing to surrender to fear, Josephine continued ministering the Anointing Water in faith. To the glory of God, the bleeding ceased completely.

However, as she approached delivery, doctors informed her that the baby had not engaged properly.

Her Divine Encounter

Trusting God for the final victory, Josephine came to The SCOAN and joined the Prayer Line, where Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for her.

Barely two hours later when she got home, labour contractions began.

Throughout the delivery process, she continued ministering the Anointing Water and using the Anointing Sticker while praying in faith.

To the glory of God, Josephine safely delivered her baby within just three minutes.

Although medical staff briefly placed the newborn on oxygen after birth, Josephine remained steadfast in her confidence that the God who had preserved the pregnancy would also perfect the child’s health.

Josephine declared with gratitude, “I feel happy because the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua has never failed me.”

She advised the people: “Everyone facing difficult situations should continually seek God’s face, trusting Him to intervene at His appointed time.”

GOD’S ANOINTING DISPELS OLUFEMI’S PAIN

Here is his testimony:

For a long time, Olufemi battled severe waist pain that made even simple movements agonising. Despite several hospital visits and prescribed medications, his condition refused to improve.

The pain eventually became so severe that he could no longer work on his farm, bringing his livelihood to a standstill.

Believing God for healing, Olufemi came to The SCOAN and joined the Prayer Line, where a SCOAN evangelist prayed for him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Instantly, the affliction disappeared.

Returning to testify during the Live Sunday Service of July 5, 2026, Olufemi said he felt as though a heavy burden had lifted from his body the moment the SCOAN evangelist offered prayer.

Demonstrating his healing before the congregation, he rejoiced, “I can now walk and do my work freely without any difficulty.”

He advised the people: “Seek God, the Giver of true peace, because nothing is impossible with Him.”

ANCESTRAL YOKE DELETED

Here is her testimony:

From childhood, Olajumoke lived under what she described as the oppression of an ancestral spirit.

Disturbing dreams of eating in the dream and repeated encounters with a giant figure that assaulted her spiritually became recurring experiences.

As the years passed, failed relationships, disappointments and setbacks seemed to define both her life and her family history.

She also suffered from an unusual sensation of a strange object lodged in her throat while battling an uncontrollable spirit of anger.

Working as a hairstylist became increasingly difficult as her temper drove customers away. Eventually abandoned by her partner and left to care for her child alone, she drifted from one church to another in search of help without success. Depression soon followed, accompanied by suicidal thoughts.

The End Of Her Past

The SCOAN Sunday Service: Testimonies (July 07, 2026)

At her lowest point, a friend invited her to The SCOAN. During the Prayer Line session, a SCOAN Evangelist ministered deliverance prayers to her, in the name of Jesus Christ and the power of God located her.

Since that encounter, she testified that the disturbing dreams, depression and suicidal thoughts have completely vanished.

As further confirmation of her deliverance, she later dreamt of Prophet T.B. Joshua, who reassured her of God’s victory over her life. Encouraging others, Olajumoke said,

She advised the people: “Whatever difficulty you are going through in life, hold on to God.”

WAIST PAIN RECEIVES THE BAPTISM OF FIRE

Here is his testimony:

Christopher’s severe waist pain had become a major obstacle both at work and in his daily life. As an engineer, he found it increasingly difficult to operate machinery safely, while various medications failed to provide lasting relief.

The SCOAN Sunday Service: Testimonies (July 07, 2026)

Seeking God’s intervention, Christopher came to The SCOAN and joined the Prayer Line, where a SCOAN Evangelist prayed for him in the name of Jesus Christ. Instantly, every trace of pain disappeared.

During the Live Sunday Service of July 5, 2026, Christopher demonstrated his healing by moving freely without discomfort, giving all glory to God for restoring his health.

He advised the people: “Turn to God, the ultimate Healer, for whom nothing is impossible.

GOD RESCUES COLLINS FROM THE GRIP OF DRUGS

Here is his testimony:

Collins’ journey into drug addiction began during his school days through the influence of a roommate.

What started with marijuana soon progressed to the dangerous synthetic substance known as “Colorado.” Before long, the addiction had affected every area of his life, including his education, career and health.

His struggle became evident after doctors diagnosed him with a lung condition, revealing the extent of his substance abuse.

A Turning Point

In search of freedom, Collins came to The SCOAN and joined the Prayer Line, where an evangelist ministered deliverance to him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Since that encounter, Collins has experienced a complete transformation.

Testifying during the Live Sunday Service of July 5, 2026, he said he now enjoys peace of mind, lives soberly and no longer spends sleepless nights under the influence of drugs.

His father glorified God for the remarkable change in his son, recalling how he had first discovered the addiction after receiving a disturbing video of Collins under the influence of Colorado.

He described their visit to The SCOAN as a divine appointment and expressed gratitude for the visible transformation in his son’s character, particularly the respect he now shows his mother.

Collins’ mother also thanked God for rescuing her son from destructive habits. She explained how negative peer influence had nearly ruined his future and noted that even after securing employment, his addiction had prevented him from making meaningful progress.

She concluded by praying that God would continue to deliver wayward children and restore families around the world.

He advised the people: “Keep off drugs.”

SCOAN Sunday Service: Come Out of Yesterday

LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: Come Out Of Yesterday

Evangelist David stepped onto the altar with a reassuring declaration of faith: “If God Almighty be with you, who can be against you?” As the congregation responded in one accord, he announced the title of his message, “Come Out of Yesterday,” taking his proof text from Isaiah 43:18-19.

Reading from the Scriptures, Evangelist David reminded congregants that God always calls His children into a new season, one they cannot embrace while clinging to the failures, regrets and disappointments of the past. He cited the account of Lot’s wife, explaining that although God, in His mercy, was delivering Lot and his family from the destruction of Sodom, the instruction was clear: flee and do not look back. “But Lot’s wife could not release her yesterday,” he said. “She was never dead to her past. What a tragedy!”

Heroes Of Faith

Encouraging worshippers not to define themselves by their past mistakes, Evangelist David pointed to the many biblical figures whose lives were transformed by God’s grace. “The Bible is filled with people of faith whose past failures should have disqualified them,” he observed, “yet God, in His grace, redeemed their broken stories and used them powerfully for His glory.”

He cited Saul of Tarsus as a striking example of divine transformation. Once a fierce persecutor of the early Church who watched Stephen’s martyrdom and went from house to house arresting believers, Saul encountered Christ on the road to Damascus and became the Apostle Paul, one of Christianity’s greatest evangelists. Through this example, Evangelist David stressed that no past is too dark for God’s redeeming power.

He also drew attention to the thief on the cross, who, despite having no opportunity to make amends for his past, simply turned to Jesus in faith with the plea, “Lord, remember me.” Christ’s immediate response, “Today shalt thou be with me in paradise,” demonstrated that God’s grace is sufficient even at life’s final hour. “If a whole wasted life can be redeemed in the last hour by grace,” Evangelist David declared, “then no yesterday of yours is beyond the reach of the same grace today.”

Turning to the life of God’s servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua, Evangelist David reminded the church that the Prophet of blessed memory often testified about his humble beginnings. Yet, by God’s grace, he rose above every limitation to become a vessel through whom countless lives around the world were transformed. “The God who did it for him,” Evangelist David affirmed, “is no respecter of persons and He can do it for anyone who trusts Him and remains faithful.”

Don’t Let Your Past Determine Your Future

For those who felt they had suffered irreversible loss, Evangelist David offered hope from Joel 2:25: “And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten.” He described God as the Great Restorer, who is able to recover lost years, heal broken hearts and ensure that the latter glory surpasses the former.

Speaking directly to those burdened by failure, disappointment or addiction, Evangelist David urged them not to surrender to hopelessness. Whether it was a failed business, a dream that had collapsed or repeated struggles that seemed impossible to overcome, he insisted that the past does not determine the future in Christ. “Do not let the long chain of your past convince you that tomorrow has been decided,” he urged. “God can rewrite your story.”

Bringing the message to a close, Evangelist David invited all who had been imprisoned by guilt, shame or failure to embrace the freedom Christ offers. “If you have been living in the prison of your yesterday,” he concluded, “the door is open and the Lord Himself is calling you out. Come to Him.

If you have never given your life to Jesus Christ, today is the day your old self can pass away and a new creature be born. And if you are His already but you have been dragging your yesterday behind you like a chain, lay it down and do not pick it up again. Yesterday is history, today is opportunity and in Christ, the best is yet to come.”

SCOAN Sunday Service: Pastor Evelyn Joshua

SCOAN Sunday Service: Pastor Evelyn Joshua

With faith rising in the hearts of congregants, Pastor Evelyn Joshua joined worshippers at The Prayer Line, warmly greeting them: “I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”

Lifting her face towards Heaven, Pastor Evelyn Joshua led the church in heartfelt prayer, thanking God for the privilege of gathering once again in His presence. “It is another day in God’s presence,” she prayed. “We are here to say, ‘Thank You, Jesus.’ We are here to say, ‘Lord, we love You.’ We love You just as children love their father.”

Acknowledging God as the sure Foundation of every believer’s life and the Rock upon which they stand, Pastor Evelyn Joshua called on the Lord to grant His people complete deliverance from every form of bondage. She prayed earnestly that every chain holding God’s children captive would be broken by the power in the name of Jesus Christ.

The ministration also extended to members of The SCOAN Old Testament Group. In fulfilment of Psalm 71:9, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists ministered God’s compassion and strength to the older people, praying for renewed health, comfort and divine preservation.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua

With faith rising across The Arena Of Liberty, Pastor Evelyn Joshua stepped onto the altar for the Mass Prayer, urging the congregation to prepare their hearts to receive from God. Declaring God’s sovereign power over every situation, she proclaimed, “Deliverance is of the Lord. Victory is of the Lord.”

Every contrary spirit that kills, steals and destroys, that is operating in your life, marriage, health – submit. Be delivered. Every spirit that is not of God – we command them to be exposed!”

Returning to pronounce God’s blessings upon the people, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “May your way be renewed, in the name of Jesus Christ. Next, Evangelist Chisom confronted every spirit behind sickness and infirmity, praying: “That demon causing disease, infirmity in your life, command them out. You evil spirit, I command you by the Blood of Jesus – Out! There is power in the Blood of Jesus. You sickness, there is power in the Blood of Jesus. I command you by the Blood of Jesus – Out!”

Evangelist Ope also declared freedom over every spirit of stagnation and delay: “You spirit operating in my life, causing delay in my career, business, hear the Word of God – Out! You spirit of delay operating in my career, business, I speak to you, in the name of Jesus – Holy Ghost!”

Prophet TB Joshua

The Mass Prayer concluded with a prayer video from God’s servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua, who declared: “Whatever area in your life that is facing challenges – be surmounted, in the name of Jesus.
