The third day of March 2024 was yet another glorious Sunday Service in The SCOAN as the people assembled to worship the Lord, who is too faithful to fail His own. Led by The SCOAN Choir, congregants sang their hearts out and the Host Of Heaven descended into their midst. In no time, the aura of the Holy Spirit became manifest in the auditorium.
Once he got on The SCOAN Altar, Evangelist David quickly used an illustration from athletics to preface his message, “DON’T STOP SHORT”. Hoping to inspire the people, he said, “Life is a marathon and for you to be victorious, you must not stop short.” He took his proof text from Habakkuk 2:3 and Hebrews 10:36 and highlighted the abundance of God’s promises while noting the major impediment to seeing them fulfilled in our lives as Christians. He described the obstacle as the giant to conquer, i.e. impatience. Referencing the case of King Saul in 1 Samuel 13:8-14, he observed thus: “King Saul’s impatience and failure to wait for Samuel’s arrival had consequences for his reign as king.”
According to Evangelist David, impatience can cause a Christian to try to open doors that God has not yet permitted to be opened. “We keep taking what God has not given us,” he said, leading to our deviating from the divine plan. As such, he cautioned the people thus: “Let us remember that there is a time to grow, face challenges, overcome obstacles and manifest the victory that God has promised.”
Moving on, Evangelist David reminded congregants about the importance of praying fervently and working tirelessly while waiting for God’s time. As was the case with Simon Peter in Luke 5, God is never unaware of our efforts and He will reward us at the right time. Similarly, he cited the situation of the Israelites regarding the walls of Jericho in Joshua 6:1-27, noting that God’s blessings demand patience and endurance. In words echoing Prophet TB Joshua, the evangelist said, “Work as if everything depends on you; pray as if everything depends on God.” Accordingly, he advised Christians to arm themselves with the tools of patience, perseverance, joy and endurance.
In his final words, Evangelist David urged congregants to cast their burdens upon the Lord and to resist satan’s efforts to stir doubt in their minds. “In times of waiting,” he reiterated, “it honours God to believe Him even when every sense contradicts Him.”
And The Lord Brought His Word To Pass In Their Lives!
“I greet you all in the name of the Lord,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua said to congregants at the start of the Prayer Line ministration.
The woman of God prayed: “Father Lord, we bless Your holy name. Jesus Christ, we adore You. Holy Spirit, we welcome You; come and dwell in our midst. Father Lord, we thank You. As we draw closer to You to seek Your comfort today as ever, we ask You to surround us with Your love, peace, grace. There is no part of our life that You are not aware of, no part of our life that is unreachable for You. We are enveloped with Your love.
Lord God, we ask You to take our pain, discomfort and give us the enablement, fortify us to live a life that is pleasing to You, a life that is productive for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Father Lord, You said to us in Your Word that You will increase our greatness and You will comfort us on all sides. Father, bring Your Word to pass in our lives today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You, Jesus!”
After speaking on the power of worship, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “To you whom the glory of God has shown this morning through your worship, I pray, ‘Receive a new life, in the name of Jesus Christ’”
From the mouths of the people numerous testimonies rang out as the Lord gave them relief from difficulty in walking, swollen belly, hernia, alcohol addiction, sickle cell anaemia, epilepsy, partial stroke, cancer, addiction to gambling and mental disorder, among other conditions that do not embarrass Jesus Christ.
Women heavy with babies also witnessed the raw power of God overshadow their pregnancies. At the same time, every ailment in their bodies was dismissed – for the glory of God!
Joined by The SCOAN Evangelists, Pastor Evelyn Joshua continued the ministration of prayers of healing, deliverance and breakthrough for the salvation of souls. Inside The SCOAN Auditorium, the Holy Spirit exposed every hidden thing in the people’s lives, causing demons to confess before vanishing!
Not Hopeless Because Their Hope Is In Jesus Christ!
“Today is my day,” Evangelist Chisom urged congregants to assert at the beginning of the Mass Prayer session. He cited Genesis 32:26, the passage where Jacob declares, “I will never let You go except You bless me.”
Evangelist Chisom then urged the people to pray: “O Lord, Thou Son of David, I will never let You go unless You set me free. Touch me, O Lord, and I will be freed, saved, delivered! You demon, unclean spirit, the cause of my problem, troubles – anywhere you are, Holy Ghost Fire: Out!”
Evangelist Joseph told the people to pray: “You demon, familiar spirit – anywhere you are in my body, I order you in the name of Jesus: Out! Every demon, familiar spirit, all messengers of satan – anywhere you are, Holy Ghost Fire: Out!”
Evangelist James told congregants to declare: “You unclean spirit, familiar spirit, the cause of sickness, disease – I command you: Out! Every sickness, disease in my body – I flush you out! You sickness, disease – by the Blood Of Jesus, be flushed out!”
Evangelist Ope urged the people to pray: “Every iron used by satan to block my finances – anywhere you are, be broken, in the name of Jesus! You iron blocking my way, breakthrough – I call you by your name; in the name of Jesus – be broken!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the people to proclaim: “Jesus must be honoured in my life, in my way, in my business, in my career, in my marriage, in my health, in my finances. I am hopeful; Jesus Christ is my Hope. No one is hopeless whose hope is in Christ. Jesus Christ is my Direction; I walk in liberty! I walk in freedom! Jesus Christ is my Future; I am secured in His arms. I am freed, healed, delivered because the Word of God says so!”
The woman of God prayed: “No weapon fashioned against you will prosper, in the name of Jesus! Be freed, be loosed from that cage, in the name of Jesus! From cage of frustration, confusion, pain – be loosed, in the name of Jesus!”
Turning to viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua said to them: “Remind satan that he is an intruder in your life.” She then decreed: “Receive your freedom, healing, breakthrough right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua proclaimed: “Any spirit that is not of Christ – be bound, in the name of Jesus Christ! You devil, remove your hands from the lives of my people – from their business, marriage – in the name of Jesus! Every satanic assignment against you – be removed, in the name of Jesus! Every hand of the devil – be removed, in the name of Jesus! I command healing on you now! Be healed! Jesus, heal every infirmity, wound, disease!” He also told the people to pray: “Every spirit that torments my life, career, children, family, marriage – be silenced, in the name of Jesus!” Finally, God’s servant prayed: “The Word Of God says You are healed, delivered! Every spirit every thought – cease, in the name of Jesus!”

Loveth Ran To God – And He Showed Her Mercy!
Loveth was all smiles when she stood before congregants on Sunday, March 3, 2024. She started by telling of a dream in which she encountered an old woman and her daughter, who succeeded in wrestling her to the ground on the third attempt. On waking up, Loveth prayed against the dream. Later that day, however, she suffered an injury as she attempted to lift an object at work. “From then on, I could no longer walk easily and began to use different drugs, but all to no avail,” she said. Believing in Gods’ power, she had made her way to The SCOAN on February 25, 2024 and received prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Since then, she has been able to walk normally, without needing any medical aids. She and her husband advised all to trust in God’s power.
Curse Of Leg Ulcer Lifted!
One week after sustaining a leg injury, Chris found that the situation was far worse than he had imagined. “I needed powerful painkillers all the time and could not wear shoes, in addition to other issues,” he told congregants on March 3, 2024. From Cameroon, the Nigerian had made his way to The SCOAN for prayer on September 5, 2023, his injury having become ulcerous. “Immediately an evangelist prayed for me, I felt light and knew that God had taken control,” he recalled. He is now back to full health, as the curse of ulcer has been lifted. He advised others, “Run to God over your problems; only He can deliver you from whatever you are facing.”
Ceased Menses Restored In Jesus’ Name!
During the deliverance session of the service of February 25, 2024, Nancy was among those whose stubborn demons faced the fierce wrath of the Holy Spirit. She had come from an idol-worshipping background, so she knew that her ceased menstruation was the handiwork of dark powers. “Doctors saw a cyst on my ovaries,” she disclosed on March 3, 2024, “but there was nothing they could do to restore my ceased menses.” After receiving the prayer of deliverance, however, Nancy saw her menses return – for the glory of the Lord! Now she no longer gets intimate in the dream and all her illnesses are over. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever,” she assured others. Her father thanked God for taking control. “Run to Jesus while thinking and acting positively,” he urged others.
Calmness Of Spirit Granted As Demon Of Anger Is Banished!
It was at the Nursing Mothers’ Section that the Holy Spirit exposed the demon in Deborah’s life, during the service of February 25, 2024. The more the evangelist exercised the authority in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the more Deborah coughed out the roots of evil in her body. Minutes later, she was declared free. The following week, she returned to testify. “The spirit of anger ruled my life and made me act violently towards family, friends and colleagues, costing me many things,” she began. She then told of how she lost jobs and relationships, including her marriage. “I used to listen to negative promptings from the foul spirit within me,” she continued. “And I troubled my husband so much that he moved out of the home,” she added. To the glory of God, however, Deborah has been enjoying a new lease of life since her deliverance. “I have been sleeping peacefully and the spirit of anger no longer controls me,” she carried on with her narration. Deborah advised others to put God first and wait for His answer. “Make God’s Word the standard for your life,” she concluded. Her mother confirmed the testimony, blessing the name of the Lord.
David Gets His Leg Back!
During a football game with his peers, David sustained a fracture from a nasty tackle on September 18, 2022. “I could not get up,” he recalled on March 3, 2024, “so I knew my leg was broken.” His parents took him to different places, including a bonesetter’s home. Six months later, he was brought to The SCOAN for prayer, on May 7, 2023. “After the prayer, I knew my healing had happened,” he said. Now back to the pitch and doing all his regular activities, David demonstrated his perfect recovery. “When it is your time, God will locate you,” he assured others. His mother recalled how he had fainted several times after being brought home following the injury. She also explained how his condition prevented her from focusing on her job. “He is even supposed to be at university now, if not for the injury,” she disclosed. She advised others to seek God over their troubles. “He will wipe your tears away as He wiped mine away,” she concluded.
Instantaneous Healing Of Body And Leg Injuries!
On August 1, 2023, Favour fell into a hole and sustained grievous bodily injuries. For a long while, she could not help herself in any way until she made her way to The SCOAN for prayer on November 19, 2023. “My leg was badly affected and it became ulcerous; I did not know what else to do,” she told the church on March 3, 2024. Within a week of receiving prayer and ministering the Anointing Water on her injuries, Favour returned to perfect health. Thank You, Jesus!
“Now I See Myself In A White Garden,” Says Young Boy Delivered From Cultism
During the deliverance session of the service of February 25, 2024, the demon in Andrew exposed itself as an evangelist prayed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. A week later, the young man returned to testify. He started by telling of how he had asked a secondary school classmate “to show me the way.” He had been impressed by the lifestyle of this classmate, who stood out from everyone else. After some time, Andrew went with his classmate to see “a master”, who gave him a potion to drink. Andrew then received instructions on what to avoid. “Avoid a church where they end with ‘in Jesus’ name’ or where they invoke the fire of the Holy Ghost,” the man told me. After taking the drink, Andrew started to engage in spirit travels where he would see himself in strange, dark places. Moving away from his original location after failing to “make his sacrifices”, Andrew ended up in another cult group where he was made to dip his fingers in a pot. He was also instructed not to speak in English even as he continued to find himself in dark places. Later, Andrew rejoined his parents in Lagos, from Niger State. Although he attempted to avoid coming to The SCOAN, God’s Spirit compelled him to. It was there that Andrew felt the fire of the Holy Ghost after the anointing fell on him. “I disobeyed my cult boss and God’s Spirit took control of my body,” he narrated. Since then, he has been having positive dreams. “The devil has been shamed; I am now a new creature,” he declared. He added, “Now I see myself in a white garden whenever I dream.” He advised young people to seek God and serve Him for the rest of their lives.
Joblessness Ends After Submission To God’s Power!
For over 10 years, Linda from South Africa was jobless despite relentless spirited efforts to find work. On learning about The SCOAN outreach in South Africa in August 2022, Linda made her way there. Afterwards, she received an interview invitation and the God of Prophet TB Joshua went with her all the way, as she came tops. “I received my appointment letter in September 2022 and have been witnessing breakthroughs since then,” she told the church on March 3, 2024. Stomach Ache Vanishes At The Command Of Jesus Christ!
Ten-year-old Emmanuella was suffering from a stomach infection that had refused to respond to medications. When the diagnosis came out, her mother was shocked by its name.
