Because they know His way – the way of the Lord – the people gathered to worship in The Synagogue on Sunday, March 9, 2025. It was yet another mightily anointed service during which demonic forces were brought to submission. A day before, it was the 19th anniversary of Emmanuel TV, God’s mouthpiece as founded by His illustrious servant Prophet TB Joshua, so the people were delighted to carry on with praising the Lord. “All We Need Is Your Mercy And Favour,” congregants pled before the Throne Of Grace. As the worship intensified, the force of the Holy Spirit affected the atmosphere for the miraculous to happen.
A Sermon On Gratitude And Relying On God
“God has been so faithful to us,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua reminded the church. She prayed for all: “May the God of this commission see to all that concerns you, in Jesus’ name.”
Concerning the International Women’s Day, she prayed specially for the womenfolk: “You will fulfil your divine destiny, in the name of Jesus Christ.”
Reading from Psalm 17:7-9, the woman of God spoke on the topic “Know His Way”. Other passages for the message were Psalm 16:8-9, Joshua 1:7-9, Deuteronomy 4:9, 1 Thessalonians 5:10 and Proverbs 4:23. She began by observing thus: “When the awareness of God’s presence increases in you, the command of God becomes easier to obey.” She further noted that God’s Word refreshes the soul, bringing with it a healing and converting power.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua counselled congregants on the need to be strong and courageous while obeying God and testifying of His goodness. “Your testimony will be the assurance that God Almighty will do it again and again,” she assured the church.
Citing the example of David, she encouraged the people to bless God in their trials so that He would bless them through the same trials. She warned the people about the consequence of failing to give God His proper place and testifying of His goodness. She then reaffirmed that knowing God is not about seeing His works but knowing His ways. Finally, she charged the people to continue in fellowship, praise and praying.
Set Aside For Victory
After the sermon, Pastor Evelyn Joshua moved to the Prayer Line section and charged the people to prepare their hearts to receive from the Throne Of Grace.
In faith, many had come from across the world to present their petitions before the Throne Of Grace. And each ‘Thank You, Jesus’ was confirmation that indeed power had descended from Heaven.
Also at the Prayer Line were pregnant women seeking divine mercy and compassion.
In another section of the Prayer Line, the power of the Living God continued to manifest vibrantly. For their sores – sores of body, sores of mind, sores of heart – they all received the healing balm of Gilead!
Through the faculties of Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists, many more received the impact of the anointing for healing, deliverance and blessings!
Finally, during the One-On-One Session, every stubborn spirit was forced to bow!
Instant Testimony
Among the instant testimonies was the case of a woman who had been battling with piles. “I couldn’t sit comfortably,” she recalled. After receiving prayer, however, she had felt instant relief flow through her body.
They Took Back Their Possessions!
At the start of the Mass Prayer session, Evangelist Ope asked congregants to say: “Holy Spirit, You are welcome to my heart; have Your way. Thou Son of David, purify my heart. Locate me in Your mercy.
He also charged them to pray: “Thou Son Of David, give me the grace to finish that which my hands have started. Thou Son Of David, by Your divine mercy, every spirit frustrating my
efforts – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Evangelist Chisom urged congregants to pray: “You unclean spirit, anywhere you are, frustrating my life and family – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out! Anywhere you are, I command you to come out by the Light of God! I command you darkness in my life, business, career – Out!”
On his part, Evangelist Joseph prayed: “Spirit behind your sickness, sent by messengers of satan -Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!” He also encouraged the people to take authority thus: “You sickness in my body, heart, kidneys, lungs – anywhere you are, I command you: Out!”
Evangelist James told the people to say: “Every unclean spirit causing delay in my career, causing setback in my finances – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua prepped up congregants, “It is time for you to take back all that satan may have stolen from you.” She prayed: “We command the anointing of God to flow over your life and home. We command the anointing of God to break every yoke and settle every question in your life, in the name of Jesus!”
The woman of God continued: “Be healed of that infirmity, that disease, that affliction! Disconnect yourself from every inherited curse, in the name of Jesus! Breakthrough in your life, way, finances, home, job, career, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “I command that darkness to leave you, in the name of Jesus! That sickness, that evil spirit of setback, of stagnation, of nightmares – I separate you, in the name of Jesus! Whatever chain that connects you with evil spirits – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”

Florence Gets Back On Her Feet!
“At night, someone used to come in and twist my neck,” recalled Florence when she started her testimony on March 9, 2025. The dream attacks had led to body pain and difficulty in walking, making her daily life hellish. “I couldn’t go out for work and was stuck at home most of the time,” she explained. Having explored various medical options without finding lasting relief, she had made her way to The SCOAN on October 27, 2024. “Once Pastor Evelyn Joshua laid anointed hands on me, I became strong again,” she testified. Today, Florence walks freely for the glory of God. “Take your case to God; avoid witch doctors,” she advised others.
Deliverance Brings Inner Peace And Marital Restoration!
Tolulope had been under attack from the spirit of anger. “It affected my marriage so much that it led to a separation,” she told the church on March 9, 2025. “For the last six years,” she went on, “my marriage had been chaotic.” Informed about Emmanuel TV by her estranged husband, Tolulope had been impressed by what she could see on the channel. On March 2, 2025, she came to The SCOAN in the company of her husband. “I received a touch from one of the evangelists and since then my heart has been full of peace,” she said.
Tolulope’s husband, Dauda, explained that he had ministered the Anointing Water on her the Saturday before. “The demon in her manifested for many minutes before my wife calmed down,” he disclosed. Having been initially introduced to Emmanuel TV, Dauda had seen God’s Right Hand on his life when his finances improved drastically after a period of unemployment. Tolulope apologised to her husband, who accepted her most warmly. “It’s as if we just got married,” Dauda smiled.
A Music Producer Drops Drugs, Picks Up The Cross!
Music producer Gregory got into drug use by association. “The artistes I was working with used to supply me with drugs, saying the substances would give me inspiration,” said the 34-year-old on March 9, 2025. He had got so deeply involved in smoking and drug use that he developed attitudinal problems. “I had issues with my artistes and family; no one could correct me,” he admitted. One by one, artistes left him and he became difficult to live with. For the glory of God, however, Gregory received a touch sanctioned by Heaven on March 2, 2025. “Now I have lost the urge for smoking and doing drugs,” he asserted. He advised others to rely on God for help in overcoming addiction and other issues of life.
For Martins, It’s A Miraculous Rise From Grass To Grace!
Poverty had been the defining attribute of Martins’ family as far as he could remember. “I struggled to finish secondary school,” he told congregants on March 9, 2025. He also struggled hard to finish his national diploma. “And I couldn’t go beyond that point at the time,” he went on. Bothered by his family’s situation, he had asked himself many questions. Sometime in 2012, however, the young man had stumbled on Emmanuel TV. “That day I heard a message on love from Prophet TB Joshua and it stuck with me,” he said.
That same year, he made his way to Lagos State for the first time – all the way from the eastern part of Nigeria. “I received a touch from Prophet TB Joshua and went home with the Anointing Water,” he told the church. From then on, Martins began to receive favour from many quarters. He was able to proceed with his education, even as business opportunities flooded his way. “I was eventually able to complete a building project that my father had abandoned while I was only four years old,” he continued.
He also spoke about buying land for his own building. For the further glory of God, Martins has secured a job as a lecturer at the school where he had graduated with a Distinction in Fine Arts. Looking back at where he had come from, Martins expressed gratitude to God for His help all the way. He advised the youth to see progress as a slow but steady race. “God is my present and future,” he declared.
Amputation Avoided As Anointing Takes Over!
While riding on a commercial motorbike, Beatrice sustained a leg injury when the bike fell over. In no time the injury became a sore. “Despite efforts by doctors, the sore refused to heal and started to expand,” she told the church on March 9, 2025. There were fears that the affected leg would be amputated. “That was when I ran to God for prayer in The SCOAN on July 28, 2024. Immediately after receiving prayer, I felt relief and the sore started closing up,” she said. Within a few weeks, the sore dried up completely. “Now I am back on my feet,” she declared. Her sister Rachael confirmed the testimony. “Run to God,” both women advised.
