It was another day that the Lord had made and the people were truly glad and did rejoice in it, especially for the chance to worship the Lord Almighty in congregation. They started by singing, “Hallowed Be The Name Of The Lord!” Then they went ahead with other songs that called down the Host Of Heaven, some of them composed by God’s servant Prophet TB Joshua. Among the lines from the songs that pleased Heaven were “I Enter The Holy Of Holies”, “I Empty Myself Before Your Holy Throne, and “Holy Is The Lamb Of God Who Sits Upon The Throne.”

For the message, Evangelist Joseph spoke on how to “GUARD YOUR HEART”. He took his text from Proverbs 4:20-23, but among other cited passages were Revelations 3:6, 2 Kings 6:15-17, Joshua 24:15 and Luke 26:32. The message reiterated the need for Christians to arm themselves with God’s Word so that their hearts can be focused on God in an unsteady world. Concentrating on God, he noted, is a sure way to not be conscious of oneself so that one can be conscious of one’s faith. “If you are conscious of your problems,” he said, “you can never be conscious of God’s protection and favours towards you; therefore, you will begin to murmur and eventually walk out of God’s promises for your life.”

In the light of the examples of Joshua, Elisha, Peter, Stephen and Paul, Evangelist Joseph urged congregants to follow God’s path based on abiding faith in God and His Word, not on miracles or material things. He stated that true Christians must be able to endure the trials that prove their Sonship in Jesus Christ, hence their need for the boldness, strongheartedness to face persecution. According to him, “Our faith must be based on something with more stability than our feelings and emotions.”

On that note, he went on, taking up the Cross is the only way to get the Golden Crown. To close the message, Evangelist Joseph exhorted the people thus: “Guard your heart because it is the seat of your will and desires. What is Christ Jesus saying to us today? It is that in this world, we would face trials and persecution because this world is not our home but he assures us of good cheer because he has overcome the world.”

Faith – The Channel Through Which They Received!

With a warm, cheerful face and a pleasant voice, Pastor Evelyn Joshua brought greetings to the people in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Before commencing the Laying Of Hands, she prayed thus: “Father Lord, we thank You for the grace to be here this day, this morning. Jesus Christ, we honour You. Holy Spirit, come and make this place Your dwelling place. Father, we thank You for Your promise that says when we come to You, You will reveal to us those things that only You know. Father, we ask You to make this house a place of revelation. Let Your Spirit of revelation dwell in this house, O Lord! O Lord God Almighty, we ask You to open our eyes to know more of Your truth. Open our heart to receive more of Your fruit. Father, we ask You to give us the grace to apply this truth in our day-to-day lives, O Lord!”

The Woman Of God continued: “O Lord God Almighty, make our mind Your watchman so that we can go on and on and on and stand for Jesus Christ. Whether in difficult times, in perilous times or any other time, Father, give us the grace to stand true to Him. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray. Father Jesus, I commit Your children into Your able hands. See to all that concerns them today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Father, touch their lives for testimonies, in the name of Jesus! Father, remove the burdens in their hearts, in the name of Jesus! You have promised us in Your Word. You said, ‘Come,’ and here we are; fulfill Your promise for our lives today. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray! Thank You, Lord! Thank You, Father! In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.”

With faith in their hearts, hundreds of people received healing and restoration through the incredible power of God that breaks down all strongholds! Be it difficulty in walking, addiction to drinking/smoking, asthma, abdominal pain, brain cyst, mental disorder, difficulty in urination, hernia, urinary tract disorder, leg ulcers, swelling of the body/legs, etc. – God’s power took full control!

Pregnant women also placed themselves under the shadow of the Almighty and no longer will the devil and his agents have any control over their lives. Thereafter, The SCOAN Evangelists joined the Woman Of God in calling down the fire of the Holy Spirit to consume the roots of all infirmities and afflictions in the people’s lives!

And Their Troubles Heard God’s Voice!

At the start of the Mass Prayer session, Evangelist Ope said to congregants, “This joy shall remain permanent in our lives, in Jesus’ name!” He asked them to thank God for all that He had been doing. Continuing, he cited Lamentations 3:37 and told the people to pray: “Thou Son of David, by Your divine mercy and favour, every negative declaration over my life and family – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist Joseph told the people to pray: “You demon, unclean spirit, familiar spirit, contrary spirit, messenger of satan – anywhere you are in my body – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”

Evangelist Chisom told congregants to pray: “You spirit, the cause of my sickness – anywhere you are, in the name of Jesus, I command you: Out! You sickness, anywhere you are in my body, blood, kidneys, that is not your dwelling place. I command you: Out!”

Evangelist James prayed: “Every cycle of limitation, disappointment, setback in your family, career – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the people, “Ask God Almighty to help your unbelief.” She told them to pray, “Open my lips to every good word.” She also prayed for the people: “We command every doubt in your life to turn to faith today, in the name of Jesus! We command every trouble in your life, heart to hear the voice of God today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every sickness, affliction – be still, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

For viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “We command deliverance, freedom, breakthrough into your life today, in the name of Jesus!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “You evil spirit, leave my people! The cause of disease, nightmare – under your foot!”

In the Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua further told the people to declare: “By the grace, righteousness of God, I am a child of God! You demon, I command you to leave my life, business, career, marriage! You devil – in the name of Jesus, I command you: Out! You devil, I know you. I am a child of God. I know you; you are a killer, destroyer, thief! I kick you out of my life! I command you by the authority in the name of Jesus: Out!” Finally, God’s servant proclaimed: “Those of you under the influence of my voice right now, satan is under your foot! In the name of Jesus!”

A Glorious End To 12 Years Of Difficulty In Walking!

“She is my wife!” screamed the demon in Faith as God’s Spirit fell upon her during the ministration of prayer by Pastor Evelyn Joshua on January 28, 2024. A week later, Faith returned to The SCOAN for her testimony on how she could walk again without any difficulty. In 2012, she had developed severe pain after having a baby. Although doctors gave her everything they had, the pain persisted. “After a while, the pain subsided,” Faith recalled. However, five years later, after another childbirth, she began to feel the pain more forcefully. “I visited so many hospitals and spiritual homes but there was no solution,” she went on. Despite using increased doses of powerful painkillers and a lumbar corset, Faith found little relief. “You will need surgery,” doctors told her. She continued, “I used to have dreams in which I saw the demons behind the idols that my father used to worship.” It was those demons that were behind the problem. On realising that she was facing a spiritual battle, Faith had made her way to The SCOAN for prayer – and her past is now over! She advised others to keep believing in God.

Python Spirit Banished Forever!

“I scattered her marriage!” boasted the foul spirit in Joy during the service of January 28, 2024. The following Sunday, she shared her testimony with the world. She began with her childhood. “When I was ill as a baby, my parents took me to a deity that healed me based on certain conditions,” she told the church. She said she used to play with a python in her dreams. When she got married, her woes multiplied. “I had seven pregnancies, four of which ended up as stillbirths and two as miscarriages,” she said. The only surviving child was prematurely born, forcing Joy to make a covenant with demonic forces. “I was to die and leave the child behind at some point,” she confessed. She went on, “My husband later got fed up with having only one child, so he quit the marriage,” she said. After many years, another man persisted in pursuing Joy and she gave in to his advances. Despite initial difficulties, Joy had two more children by her new husband. “He told me that my spirit husband was threatening him,” Joy said. In the end, however, she brought her case to God and Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for her in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Since then, Joy has regained her freedom from the python spirit of her father’s household. She urged people to seek God’s face over their issues.

God’s Power Brings Forth Twin Babies With Ease!

Ruth, from Benin Republic, was in The SCOAN for prayer over her pregnancy on April 16, 2023. She had been told that her baby was lying in an abnormal position and that she would need a Caesarian Section. “After I received prayer, I also got the Anointing Water from Pastor Evelyn Joshua,” Ruth said on February 4, 2024. On the day of her delivery, Ruth went into the labour room and had not only one but two babies with ease! Her husband, Patrice, said, “I am full of joy for answering my prayers through His medium of the Anointing Water.” He advised others to seek God’s face for their needs.

At God’s Servant’s Command, Abuya’s Ulcerous Foot Healed!

When Abuya sat for prayer in The SCOAN on October 22, 2023, he was suffering from a leg ulcer, following an accident at work. Doctors had treated him but the leg had refused to heal. Assured of God’s ability to heal him, Abuya had made his way to God’s presence. After an evangelist pronounced healing on Abuya, he went home feeling healed. Today, the leg is healed indeed! Abuya, like his wife, advised others to have faith in God.

25 Years Ago, He Was On The Brink Of Death But God Rescued Him!

On September 27, 1998, Gbenga stood unsteadily before Prophet TB Joshua as he received prayer over the skin problem that was tormenting his life. His skin was rotting before his very eyes, causing him severe distress. The only ones who did not give up on him were his closest family, especially his sister, who was always on hand to fan his burning skin. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Prophet TB Joshua had pronounced healing on the suffering man. Shortly afterwards, he returned for his testimony. Twenty-five years after that remarkable encounter, Gbenga returned to The SCOAN to retell his testimony. He told the church how it had all started with a headache, which soon transformed into severe hotness from inside. “Doctors did their best before advising my family to take me to the village for a solution,” he recalled.
