GOD’S MEDIUM FOR MIRACLES

The routine niceties of adoration and self-introduction over, Wise Man Christopher went straight to unfold the substance of his Message entitled: Life is a Warfare. In it, he dwelt on the theme of the constant and interminable struggle between evil and righteousness.

According to him, there is a constant struggle between light and darkness, knowledge and ignorance, righteousness and unrighteousness, spirit and flesh everywhere in our lives often demonstrated at home, in marriages, among neighbours and so on. Of all the wars, he added, that of the heart is the most destructive. Satan uses man’s natural propensity for evil as fodder for his purpose. The giants of satan requires conquering. With God’s help through the Holy Spirit, we are capable of bringing satan to his knees. He cited Gal. 5:16-26 and maintained that life is a battlefield where only the serious-minded people are victorious. He who desires victory must be ready to embrace war because victory is a product of warfare. However, Christ’s victory over satan on Calvary gives all believers the ultimate victory. We must therefore watch and pray. To do this, he added, is to work in Spirit to keep satan under check. Do not be ruled by your situation. Your relationship with God is based on nothing else but God. The first place to be victorious is in our minds and our spiritual lives. Mind management is a priority for the over-comer. Faith is the precursor to victory. The heart must be purified for God. John 10:10 identifies the devil as the adversary. However, as a child of God, you have the power, in the name, Jesus, at your command. Mark 16:17 says in His name, you shall cast out devils. Humility and self-control are veritable catalysts for protection against the enemy. The power to conquer is invested in the name, Jesus. When God is involved in your matter, it does not matter who is on the other side.

THE MEDIUM FOR MIRACLES
Explicating the theme, miracles and their realization, Prophet T.B. Joshua underscored the point that God can use any medium to achieve His goal. Citing Luke 3:8, he noted that God is able to raise up children from ‘these’ stones. God can use any means (human or non-human) to do His work. As Acts 19:11 reveals, God used the hand of Paul to bring about miracles. Jesus who never said, ‘Good bye’, confirms whatever doctrine you espouse, if it is of God, by manifesting His powers through miracles.

The miracles, as in the case of T.B. Joshua’s, are a proof of true apostleship in the Lord. Further on the issue of true apostleship, he makes a distinction between ‘praying prayers’ and ‘saying words’. While the former talks to God in humility to bring about blessings, healing and miracles, the latter is merely talking to oneself. He seized the opportunity to reinforce the use of the Anointing Water for blessings and miracles citing the recent case of its use in Kazan, Russia where it brought about healings and miracles among believers who applied it. Specific instances of miracles brought about by the Anointing Water were those of a woman who was healed of stroke. Others were a man who was healed of a skin disease and a woman healed of deafness while the third was a woman healed of a spine problem. In reaction to these wonderful realities, people brought out handkerchiefs and bottles of soft drinks, among others, to collect the Anointing Water.

I WALKED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 37 YEARS

confined to a wheelchair for 37 years because of the inability to lift herself up and walk, in joint distress with her sister who wheeled her in, cried out for help mentioning her agony for the past 37 years. In spontaneous reaction to their plea, the man of God asked two new-comers who had the Anointing Water to go to her aid. At a close range, it was quite clear that the victim’s limbs (including toes and fingers) had been mangled and twisted out of shape by the chronic disease – a condition which would prompt reference to a higher hospital among practitioners of western medicine. Undaunted by the terrible physiological malformation wrought on the woman by the chronic ailment, the man of God advised his appointed first- timer healers to give the woman the Anointing Water to drink to effectually counteract the malformation brought about by the many years of attack.

Lacking the confidence to get up on her own in spite of the changes she felt in her being, the woman was assisted to get up and she thereafter mustered courage to lift a leg to pace a step as a newly delivered person thus generating congregational accolade for the Lord, for His many miracles through His anointed servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua.

In her testimony, the lady, Madame Mbelu Prudence said that in that condition, she had had three daughters who had not seen her walk one day. One of them, a lawyer and the other, a medical doctor had taken her to many places for treatment but without success. She wondered how they would feel to see her walking.

MAN HEALED OF A BREATHING SICKNESS
In the excitement of this victory, a man cried out helplessly to the man of God stating that for the past ten years, he had relied on a machine for breathing as no modern medicine could find a solution to his ailment of difficulty of breathing and consequently, unlike the rest of humanity, he bought the air that he breathed in. In swift reaction, the man of God still deployed the two newcomers to apply their Anointing Water to the man. As soon as this was done, the man disengaged himself from his ‘companion’ machine and for the first time, in ten years, he enjoyed (free of charge) natural air with his nose and noted that he had more energy to walk about than he had ever had in the last ten years shouting, ‘Thank God, I am healed! I can breathe well!’ He had, before coming to The SCOAN, gone to India and South Africa for surgery without achieving the desired result. In their reaction, the congregation stepped up their praise and thanks to the Lord for the miracles they were privileged to witness.

ZAMBIAN WORRIED OVER MARRIAGE
He also gave a prophecy of a man whose mind was not at rest because of an unconcluded decision by the said man to jilt his wife. As soon as the prophecy was issued, a 30 year old young man emerged from the congregation to claim the prophecy. The young man stated that he had come all the way from Zambia because of his wife whom his family wanted him to drive away in spite of his seeming infatuation for the said wife. The family’s stance was upheld by a pastor he also consulted. The pastor advised him to quash the marriage. Under this pressure, he felt the best thing to do was to visit The SCOAN to seek God’s opinion. The man of God advised that he would ask for God’s opinion and, if necessary, pay for the flight of members of his family to The SCOAN to hear the opinion of God on the issue.

SECOND MARRIAGE ENDANGERS MAN’S LIFE
As the prophetic service proceeded, the man of God issued a prophecy about a man whose life was threatened by his secret indulgence in a second marriage. According to the prophecy, the man hired a house for the second wife without the knowledge of the first wife. In addition to this, the second wife had merely eloped from her first marriage; her first husband still loved her very much- a revelation she belatedly and reluctantly made to the second husband. A man rose from the congregation to identify himself with the prophecy acknowledging the fact that that was the generational problem he had as his own father was also a polygamist. The man of God advised him to relinquish the second relationship in his own interest promising him deliverance.

Assured of their deliverance from demonic powers at the end of the service, the congregation dispersed agog and radiant with internal joy.

  14. GLORY BE TO GOD ALMIGHTY! It thank GOD for the life of Prophet T.B JOSHUA,THE WISEMEN,his family, Emmanuel TV,SCOAN and Partners! Our good GOD is faithful and I have the faith that He will continue to perform more miracles,HE IS NOT YET DONE,UNTIL THE WHOLE WORLD COMES TO UNDERSTAND THAT HE HAS CHOSEN THE PROPHET HIMSELF and for that reason,whether they accept him or not,GOD will still use him and the WISEMEN. However more WISEMEN will come up and be sent to different parts of the world.
    People should know that JESUS has paid it all on the cross and the Prophet & the Wisemen have also paid the costs by denying themselves the worldy life and obey the LORD to do His work which is very taxing a lot!!!!!!!!!!

  27. I watch emannuel tv every single day and i thank God for the miracles he does through the man of God.
