GET BACK UP AND RUN TO JESUS – Psalms 145:14 says, “The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down.”
In our complex and often contradictory world, we strive daily to live rightly, yet we sometimes falter. In Psalm 32:5, David confesses his sins to the Lord and receives forgiveness. This example shows that when we err, we don’t run from God but run to Him.
Making mistakes is part of the human experience; however, as Christians, we have the privilege of seeking God’s mercy. When we acknowledge our shortcomings and repent, the Lord forgives, restores, and guides us to avoid repeating those mistakes.
Failure, therefore, is not in the falling but in the refusal to rise again. For Christians, a fall is not a mark of failure but a pause that prepares us for a new level in life.
Consider Daniel’s life. When he was thrown into the lions’ den, it appeared to be a failure. Yet, it became an opportunity for God’s power to be displayed. Similarly, our setbacks can serve as setups for divine intervention and growth.
People of God, when discouragement comes, we don’t stop—we dig deep and fight through it. Facing fears and failures involves pressing forward with faith, knowing that each stumble is a stepping stone toward spiritual maturity.
Remember: “All men fall, but great ones get back up.” – TB Joshua. As Christians, our falls are not final; they are opportunities to experience God’s redemption. So, when you fall, get back up and run to Jesus.
EMMANUEL!
