“Come as you are” – that was the charge to God’s people during the service of November 10, 2024. With God’s Word in Isaiah 40:31 on their minds, congregants ensured to wait upon the Lord for the renewal of their strength, for they wanted to run without being weary and to walk without fainting. So, they began by exalting the name of the Lord in song and making joyful noises to the Rock of their salvation. “Abba Father!” they cried out while declaring their submission to God’s will. Then they proclaimed: “I Will Never Be The Same/I’ve Touched Your Grace/My Life Has Changed!” In no time, The SCOAN Auditorium filled up with the aura of the divine, causing many to fall under the anointing.
“Come As You Are” – A Sermon On Humble Submission
Evangelist Chisom read from Matthew 11:28 for his sermon entitled “Come As You Are”, which was on humble submission to God. The message was strong counsel to Christians never to condemn themselves out of guilt or shame about their past or present. “Jesus Christ never disconnects Himself from those who make mistakes with their lives,” he began. He went on to speak about God’s transformative power that causes deep changes from within. He also spoke of the need to serve God in truth and depend on Him genuinely. “Jesus Christ will not force us to cast our burden upon Him,” he noted.
Speaking further, the preacher pointed out the importance of doing God’s will immediately rather than delaying the commitment to salvation. “If you want to change,” he stated, “the time is now.” Concerning David’s pleas in Psalm 51:17, Evangelist Chisom observed: “In coming to Christ, it is not a matter of combining our action with God’s action but of a total and complete removal of our action in order to put on God’s action.” He therefore concluded: “Come as you are with a repentant heart and Jesus Christ will put an end to where you are coming from and commit Himself to your future.”
Enveloped In God’s Love
“Lift up your hands and give God thanks this morning,” said Pastor Evelyn Joshua to congregants once she came into the midst of the people.
She prayed: “Lord God Almighty, let our hearts, our lives, our ways be Yours to order. Let Your in-dwelling presence continue to remind us of who we are in You – a chosen generation. Father God, speak strength into us. Let the power of freedom, healing, deliverance fall afresh on us today, in the name of Jesus Christ….
The work of His hands is wonderful – and yes, I know. So, Lord God Almighty, envelop us in Your love today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Let Your glory cover this arena, in the name of Jesus Christ. Give us songs of victory, songs of testimonies. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray. Thank You, Jesus!”
And God’s wondrous works manifested yet again as hundreds received relief from various issues, such as difficulty in walking, leg pain, swollen belly, asthma, and piles.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua went on to pray for pregnant women seeking to commit the fruits of their wombs to Jesus Christ.
As God’s servants ministered, other cases that listened to the voice of God included hormonal imbalance, skin disease, leg ulcers, ankle dislocation, cataracts, drug addiction, prostate enlargement, and liver cirrhosis.
As the Spirit of the Living God suffused the atmosphere in The Arena Of Liberty, blessings flowed unhindered as each person received a touch from Heaven.
During the One-On-One session, the light of God exposed every hidden thing, bringing forth deliverance in the lives of everyone impacted.
In The Lord Was Their Trust
At the start of the Mass Prayer session, Evangelist James assured the people thus: “As long as satan and his agents could not stop you from coming to The Arena Of Liberty, they cannot stop you from receiving your freedom.”
He urged congregants to pray: “Lord Jesus, save me. Lord Jesus, heal me. Lord Jesus, restore me.” He then prayed for the church: “Every ancestral spirit tormenting your life – Holy Ghost Fire: Out!”
Next to pray was Evangelist Joseph, who declared: “You contrary spirit, you familiar spirit, you demon, you messenger of satan – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Evangelist Chisom urged the people to proclaim: “You unclean spirit causing me sickness and disease – anywhere you are in my body: Out!”
Taking his turn, Evangelist Ope decreed: “You spirit of limitation – anywhere you are: Out!”
Joining the people, Pastor Evelyn Joshua told them to pray: “O Lord, my trust is in You! You said when I pass through the river it will not sweep me over. You said when I walk through the fire I will not be burned. Because my trust is in You, O Lord, my life rejects failure, disappointment, sickness, affliction, stagnation, barrenness, dryness! Every hardship in your life – be broken, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every mountain, giant, wall – be broken, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every garment of shame, disgrace – be torn, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
The woman of God continued to pray: “May your enemies see the finger of God in your life, praying for you, your business, your career, in the name of Jesus Christ! We command the healing power of God into your life! Be blessed, be healed, be delivered, in the name of Jesus Christ! May the promises of God for your life be fulfilled today, in the name of Jesus!”
Turning to viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua said: “Take your place in the believer’s authority and begin to conquer the enemies of your soul, in the name of Jesus Christ!” She prayed for them: “Be released from those shackles, from that cage! Whatever contact satan may have with you – be loosed right now, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “Whatever areas in your life that are facing challenges – be surmounted, in the name of Jesus! Your spiritual life – be revived, in the name of Jesus! Whatever spirit that is operating in your life – spirit of setback, stagnation, sickness, disease, affliction, nightmares, whatever chain satan must have been using to connect you to himself – chain of hardship, loneliness, barrenness, career failure – break! That disease in your blood, kidneys, liver, bones, tissues, tendons – Out! Every organ in your system that is not functioning – begin to function now, in the name of Jesus!”

Freed From Ancestral Bondage And Spirit Of Lust
One night, Genesis had a dream in which he saw three white-clothed men who described themselves as ancestral spirits. “I told my father about it and he asked me if I prayed about it,” he told the church on November 10, 2024. A pattern of nightmares then began in the teenager’s life as he returned to boarding school. Along the line, he got ensnared in pornography, which later led him into masturbation. “I thought it was a normal thing initially,” he noted, “but I soon realised that it was a problem when I discovered Emmanuel TV.” Genesis struggled with the addiction but he couldn’t help himself. “I became depressed because I couldn’t gain admission after three years of secondary school,” he continued.
To keep himself from worrying, Genesis would resort to masturbation even though he knew it was no solution. He also suffered from sinusitis. However, he saw God’s hand in his life when he got healed of the sinusitis after watching Emmanuel TV. “I gained admission to university and got deeper into pornography,” he continued. By so doing, Genesis had now reopened the door to the enemy. In the end, his sinusitis returned in a worse form. “I called the Prayer Line and manifested as the evangelists prayed for me,” he said. He had retraced his steps to God – or so it seemed.
Alas, Genesis got overpowered again by the spirit of masturbation. “I knew I had to make my way to the church for my deliverance,” he said. So, on November 3, the Lord had located him as the evangelists ministered. For a few minutes, the demon in Genesis expressed itself before vanishing into thin air. Now he no longer has the nightmares in which he used to get threatened with death. He advised other youths to confide in those who can help them and to put their trust in God. “Stay away from sources of temptation,” he said. His father, Musa, confirmed the testimony. “God has detached us from the ancestral spirit,” he declared. He advised parents to monitor their children closely.
Couple Finds Peace After Demons Are Expelled!
“I scattered his first marriage,” claimed the demon in Great as the Holy Spirit accosted it on November 3, 2024. The demon confessed many things, including aiming to ruin Great’s career and health. “Out, in the name of Jesus!” decreed the evangelist as he took on the demon. Minutes later, Great became himself again. “I was sitting over there earlier,” the dazed man said, pointing to a section of the auditorium when he realised what had just happened. His wife also received her deliverance shortly after.
The following Sunday, the couple returned for their testimony. Great – the only child of his mother – recalled how his life had been ruled by demonic spirits that prevented him from succeeding at anything in life. “I stayed single for seven years after separating from my first wife,” he told the church. On the night of his second wedding, Great almost lost his wife. “She was unconscious for hours until she was restored by prayer on the Emmanuel TV Prayer Line,” Great disclosed.
Shortly after, Great himself found that he had been afflicted. “I just couldn’t sleep no matter what I did,” he went on. With medical help not making any difference, Great took his older brother’s advice to visit The SCOAN for prayer. Since the divine visitation on November 3, Great has been sleeping peacefully. “I no longer have that nagging pain in my head and the nightmares are gone,” he confirmed. He advised, “Seek God for deliverance from the spirit causing problems in your life.” Great’s wife confirmed the testimony. She also talked about her deliverance from the idols of her own family. She advised couples to join hands in seeking divine solutions to the issues of life.
A Miraculous Breakthrough For Daniel!
It started with a strange bee flying into Daniel’s nostril in December 2023. “Immediately, I started to bleed and we didn’t know how to get out the bee,” he said on November 10, 2024, during the testimony session. A week after, following prayer with Prophet TB Joshua on Emmanuel TV, Daniel coughed up the bee – for the glory of God! In January 2024 he had shared his testimony about the bee incident. “I had returned home with the New Anointing Water and Anointing Sticker after the service,” he informed the church. On getting home, Daniel saw a dead snake in his room. After Daniel buried the snake, doors began to open for him.
As an educational consultant who had been engaged in processing international admissions, Daniel miraculously received approvals from the different schools to which he had applied two years ago. Within the year, he also got married. “Money just started pouring in from different places,” he said with a smile. “Pray along on Emmanuel TV and use your spiritual items in faith,” he urged others. His wife also glorified God’s name for the breakthrough.
By Divine Power, Lydie Gets Fruit Of The Womb!
A Beninese couple, Paul and Lydie Gogan, testified about being able to have their own child after facing severe difficulties. “My first pregnancy was ectopic, so we had it removed,” she told the church on November 10, 2024. Doctors also diagnosed her with ovarian cysts. Moreover, it was feared that she would not be able to get pregnant again because of her rhesus factor. “I was supposed to have had a certain injection for my rhesus factor two days after flushing out that first pregnancy,” she explained.
To the glory of God, however, Lydie, alongside her husband Paul, came for prayer in The SCOAN, and the Spirit of God fell upon her. Today she is seven months gone! Paul thanked God for freeing his wife from the jaws of death, asserting that he would be returning for a bigger testimony. “Do not take God’s silence for rejection,” he advised others.
In Joshua’s Life, Jesus Has The Final Say!
“I used to talk carelessly to people and did many things that were not of God,” confessed Joshua on November 10, 2024. Yet, he had grown up in a Christian home. “I was a member of the choir but couldn’t take any insult lying low,” he said. When he got into university, he forsook the way of the Lord altogether. “I stopped going to church and did all I could to stop others from going to church as well,” he said. As the leader of a theatre arts group in school, he would purposely set rehearsal times to clash with church services. “The spirit of anger overtook my life, leading to issues with friends, family and lecturers,” Joshua explained. He added, “There was no peace in my life despite the money I was making from my singing performances.”
Later on, he got involved in pimping, hoping to make more money. Still, happiness or fulfilment was far from the young man. For some reason, however, he had agreed to come to The Synagogue with his mother on November 3. And that was the day of his deliverance! Since his freedom, Joshua has become a calm person – a fact confirmed by his mother, who gave further details about her son’s past life. “Do not use your body for money,” Joshua advised the youths.
His mother said, “Now I wake up smiling.” She added, “Bring your children to God.” Joshua’s older brother Joseph – the first of their parents’ five children – explained how the family had tolerated so much unruliness from Joshua in the past. “He fainted one day as I tried to beat him up. I even tore up his best clothes on another occasion and disowned him as a brother,” Joseph recalled, his words choked by tears and a tremulous voice. “I forgive him for everything,” said Joseph, after which he urged family members to pray for one another. Falling to his knees, Joshua took a moment to apologise to his family. He also glorified God’s name with his melodious voice.
