Key Event Highlights
SCOAN Christmas Carol Service (Dec 21, 2025)

Two weeks since the annual thanksgiving service, the congregation was still in the mood for praise, with the clock counting down to year end. Close to their heart they held God’s Word at Psalm 100:1-2 – “Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
“Jesus is the reason for the season,” say Wendy and Jose, the anchors for The SCOAN Christmas Carol Service 2025.

The SCOAN Choir
Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.” For their first offering the choristers sang: “The Lord Our God/He Is Wonderful!”

Orchestra Performance
Her voice a rich blend of various harmonious notes, young Esther Oputteh came on with the Signature Accompaniment Orchestra to invoke the spirit of Christmas: “O Come Let us Adore Him!” As Esther’s mellifluous voice cooed through the sound system, it evoked ‘imagined reminiscences’ of Jesus’ birth over two thousand years ago.

Alongside Other Events…
Singing in Spanish, Raquel Vega moved the people with her rendition. “Tu Eres Santo!” she sang.

Next, kids from The SCOAN Sunday School stepped up, confirming the reality of Proverbs 22:6—“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” As they used their talent to honour Jesus Christ, it was evident that the hands of Jesus Christ were upon them.

Similarly, youths of The SCOAN did a dance performance on the essence of Christmas against the backdrop of Prophet TB Joshua’s teachings. Fittingly, they selected these golden words of the man of God: “Never come around people because of what you can get; come around people because of what you can give. It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

Another performance by the youth reasserted Jesus Christ as the Reason for the season.

Singing solo, Mary Okoli performed “O Holy Night!”, earning applause for her creative rendition.

The full choir then returned for further renditions, among their electrifying performances being ‘Bless The Lord, O My Soul’, ‘Let Every Heart Prepare Him Room’ and a special number in a Nigerian language.

All along, Pastor Evelyn Joshua sat among the congregation, dancing and singing along as the colourful carols carried on.And His Mercifulness Manifested Yet Again!

SCOAN Christmas Carol Service: Healing Session
“Merry Christmas to you all!” greeted Pastor Evelyn Joshua on transitioning to the Prayer Line. After commending the choristers, she prayed into their lives: “May your voices continue to be a source of worship in His sanctuary forever.”

She also thanked everyone for their messages on her 57th birthday. “Celebration will not cease from your life, in the name of Jesus,” she prayed.
Before commencing her Father’s work at the Prayer Line, Pastor Evelyn Joshua broke into worship: “I Have A Father/King Of Kings/Lord Of Lords!”

No doubt, Jesus Christ was right on the scene to minister to all who had called upon Him in faith. Among those who received deliverance and healing were people with swollen scrotum, bleeding due to cervical cancer, mental disorder, skin disease, chronic headache, partial stroke, and enlarged prostate.

For expectant mothers, Pastor Evelyn Joshua also stood on the believer’s authority to uproot every source of fear and trouble in their heart.

Indeed, only with the heavenly currency of faith did petitioners receive divine attention over kidney disease, multiple fibroids, difficulty in walking due to lumbar spondylosis, hyperthyroidism, gastritis, diabetes, and difficulty in breathing due to lung disease, among others.
In the name that is above all names, The SCOAN Evangelists also cast out the demons responsible for troubles of all sorts in the people’s lives.
As God’s servants continued to minister at the Prayer Line, the fire of the Holy Ghost went to work in the people’s bodies, correcting all that had gone away.

Be healed, in the name of Jesus! May your joy, your peace multiply, in the name of Jesus! May the favour, blessings of God locate you!”

To the viewers, Pastor Evelyn Joshua decreed, “I speak the name of Jesus into your life, marriage, children, finances, health!
Therefore, be set free from every situation meant to harm you. Declare, ‘Thou power of freedom, fall afresh on me!’”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “Let the power of God come down, in Jesus Christ Name!
The cause of nightmares in your business, health, marriage, family, finances – I command it out, in the name of Jesus! Demons in your bones, fluids – I command them to leave you, in the name of Jesus! I say to your blood, liver, kidneys, ‘Every strange thing, be flushed out!’”
