SCOAN Candlelight Service (Dec 31, 2025)
As the clock ticked steadily towards the end of 2025, the atmosphere in the Main Auditorium and the Overflow Section of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations was that of fever-pitch excitement. From across the continents, people had gathered to worship their way into the New Year, 2026.
The Arena Of Liberty being a place where God’s Spirit leads always, the congregation had the words of 1 Chronicles 16:34 on their minds – “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth forever.”
The SCOAN Choir
Led by The SCOAN Choir, the church sang from the depths of their hearts, grateful to be witnessing the advent of another year. They thanked the Lord Almighty for His unfailing favour and mercy, counting their blessings and naming them one by one as they offered their sacrifice of thanksgiving.
“I Have Seen The Lord’s Goodness!” they declared, having released themselves from all offence, pain of the past and resentment. They went on to hail Eze Ebube, the Wonderful King, whose name they gladly lifted higher and higher.
As the worship session went on, the Holy Spirit moved mightily in the midst of the people, provoking the expulsion of every untoward thing in their systems. Emmanuel TV viewers also saw live clips from The SCOAN branches in Ghana’s city of Accra and Nigeria’s city of Akure, Ondo State.

Mother And Son Freed From Demonic Ulcerous Injuries
It was on February 27, 2022 that Emmanuel received prayer over an ulcerous wound that had been threatening to condemn his left leg.
Here is his testimony:
An object pierced my foot as I went about my daily activities. Despite receiving treatment, the wound refused to heal.
I was unable to go to work during that period and had to depend on my mother and siblings for support. That was when my mother brought me to The SCOAN for prayer on December 31, 2025.
Within a week of receiving prayer, the sore on my foot dried up. I felt a cold sensation when Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me.
Here is her testimony:
His mother, Loveth, also shared her own testimony about healing from an ulcerous leg wound. It had started with a masquerade attack in the dream.”
Despite several clinic visits and medical tests, the wound continued to bleed. However, after Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for her on April 7, 2024, the ulcer dried up completely, to the glory of the Lord.
For advice, they told the people: “Trust and have faith in God.“
Emmanuel Regains His Breathing And Fitness
Emmanuel came to The SCOAN with the problems of difficulty in breathing due to asthma and waist pain due to lumbar spondylosis.
Here is his testimony:
The problems were so debilitating that I had to be placed on oxygen. Despite medical intervention, my condition persisted and continued to threaten my well-being.
When I felt no real improvement, I decided to place my burdens in the hands of Jesus Christ..
I had seen many similar cases on Emmanuel TV, so I decided to attend The Special SCOAN Healing and Deliverance Service 2025.
Following an anointed touch by an evangelist, my breathing difficulty and waist pain completely vanished. I can do everything I couldn’t do before.
For advice, he told the people: “God is God; we should come close to Him and put all our faith in Him.”
Peter Healed Of Life-Threatening Ulcer
Here is his testimony:
Sometime in 2022, I woke up to discover a black spot on my leg. I made sure not to scratch it, hoping it would heal on its own.
However, instead of getting better, it gradually worsened and developed into a serious ulcer, causing me intense pain and discomfort.
Despite the challenges, I did not give up. I decided to come to The SCOAN for prayer. When Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me, I immediately felt different and knew something had changed.
On June 15, 2025, I received a word of healing that completely transformed my story. Today, I can walk freely again, as the ulcer has completely disappeared, to the glory of God.
For advice, he told the people: “Trust in God.”
Tajudeeen Gets His Hand Back!
Here is his testimony:
I am a civil servant in Lagos, and I noticed a swelling on my hand after repeatedly doing house chores.
I pricked the swelling with a needle but that only made the situation worse. For weeks, I endured severe pain and found it difficult to carry out many daily activities.
However, after receiving prayer while Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered, I felt better instantly.
My body shook as she poured the anointing water into my mouth on November 30, 2025. Today, I can use my hand freely again, to the glory of God.
For advice, he told the people: “Take every case to God”
An Instant Testimony For Faith!
Since December 26, 2025, the family of Faith had been in turmoil over their missing daughter.
Here is his testimony:
It had transpired that my daughter had fallen into the hands of kidnappers in Delta State. A man of faith, I refused to lose hope, holding on to God’s Word.
Immediately after receiving the perfumed Anointing Water, I received a happy call: My daughter had been released to my family back home in Delta State!

LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: Our Year Of Overflowing Joy
“Your Goodness Is Running After Me!” sang Pastor Evelyn Joshua as she joined the church for the Crossover message. Reading from Proverbs 15:1, Matthew 6:25-34 and Colossians 3:2, among other references, she gave an exhortation on faith that silences fear, peace that replaces worry and joy that stays as conquering power.
She anchored her teaching on the difference between the language of the Bible and the language of ordinary speech.
Earlier, the woman of God stated: “We thank our father in the Lord, Prophet TB Joshua, for laying a solid foundation for us.” She then quickly reminded the people: “Let us celebrate Jesus; let us celebrate grace.” On that note, she raised another song: “You Are Holy/Holy You Are Holy!”
Addressing the church pointedly on what they profess, the woman of God asked: “Which of the languages do you speak?” She explained that the language of the Bible is meant for correction, edification and comfort. Accordingly, she charged the people to read the Bible with a clean heart and to engage in two-way communication with the Creator always. “We grow in our daily life by obeying the Word of God,” she said.
Teaching further, Pastor Evelyn Joshua cautioned against questioning God’s existence or harming others in the name of defending God. The only meaningful way to defend God, she observed, is by living in alignment with His will. She also charged the congregation to engage in constant self-examination. “You must realise your responsibility and make a change,” she insisted.
As she wound off the message, the woman of God counselled the people to eschew fear and worry, saying, “We may have reasons to be worried but we have more reasons not to be worried.” According to her, “a Christian who worries is simply saying he doesn’t trust God.” She further told the people to apply the day’s resources to the day’s needs and to guard their joy diligently. She stated that believers are not permitted to live in tomorrow until it becomes today. Thus, she urged the people to replace fear with rightful focus.
Finally, the woman of God declared 2026 the Year Of Overflowing Joy.
Lighting The Crossover Candle
As she prepared to light the Crossover Candle, Pastor Evelyn Joshua raised another worship song. Thereafter, she declared overflowing joy upon the people in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. “The joy of the Lord will flow in all that has to do with you,” she prayed.

Anointing For The New Year
For Pastor Evelyn Joshua, there was no better way to start the New Year than anointing the people – a divine instruction she received from the Holy Spirit. Thus, supported by The SCOAN Evangelists, she ministered perfumed Anointing Water on everyone in the Main Auditorium and the Overflow Section. In many instances, there were immediate manifestations of God’s power as the fire of the Holy Spirit fell upon the recipients.

SCOAN Candlelight Service: The Grace
As Pastor Evelyn Joshua pronounced the Grace in Fellowship, the Candlelight Service came to a joyful close in the dawn of the new year. With grateful hearts and lifted voices, the congregation boldly professed, “2026—THE YEAR OF MY OVERFLOWING JOY!”
