The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir
On Sunday, September 21, 2025 during The SCOAN Sunday Service, the atmosphere in The Synagogue yet again reflected the merciful, wonder-working presence of God Almighty.

From all over the world, people of faith had gathered to worship their Creator, whose Son, Jesus Christ, promises to bear the burden of the weary, giving them rest from life’s troubles.
With faith as their route to Jesus Christ, they began the service with songs of worship, beseeching the Holy Spirit to pray through them.

Following the charge at 1 Chronicles 16:23-25, congregants proclaimed: “My Trust Is In You, Lord/I Put Them All On You!” So impactful was the worship session at The SCOAN Sunday Service that many in the auditorium could not hold back tears provoked by Spirit intimacy.
Assured of God’s steadfast love, they cried out, ‘Don’t let me be put to shame — show up, Jesus, show up!’ And Jesus did show up, moving powerfully throughout the service and transforming their stories for the better.

The SCOAN Sunday Service Testimonies (September 21, 2025)

After Months Of Misery And Pain, Nurat Gets Back On Her Feet!
I had issue of lumbar spondylosis, which had developed over the course of six months after I first felt the peppery sensation.
I took numerous drugs and received physiotherapy. My situation didn’t get better but I kept pretending to be alright. Unable to work, I had to rely on handouts from friends and family.

However, my story had changed on September 14, after I witnessed the healing power of God during The SCOAN Sunday Service.
It is good to have faith.

And Helen the Schoolteacher Bounces Back!
For the past 18 years, I endured unrelenting pain that spread throughout my system. I used orthodox and herbal drugs that caused problems for my heart.
In the end, I resigned from my job since I couldn’t do it effectively. Others referred to me as an old woman. I knew that my situation shouldn’t continue, having heard the testimonies of others at The SCOAN.

At The Living Water Service, on August 8th 2025, I climbed on the Altar of Prayer and asked for mercy.
Shortly afterwards, I felt vitality surge into me. I started thanking God for healing me, and threw away my walking aids.
There’s nothing God cannot do!

Onuwa Delivered From Ancestral Spirits
I didn’t know I was an initiate until one day in secondary school. I had been in two marriages that broke up.
My second husband actually duped me of huge sums of money. From my two marriages came four children. A satanic voice kept threatening to kill me.
Also, in a dream I had seen a man massaging my legs. When I woke up from that dream, I started to feel severe pain in my leg.

Since my deliverance at The SCOAN Sunday Service, however, I have begun a new life of freedom, hope and love. I am also back to great health.
Your only hope is God – run to Him.

Anointing Flushes Out Bead From Baby’s Nostril!
During a hair-plaiting session, a tiny bead lodged in my baby’s nostril. I grew terrified when it wouldn’t come out, even after she sneezed three times.
The next day, after failing to have the bead extracted at the clinic, I brought my baby to The SCOAN, where Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for her.
The woman of God gave me the Anointing Water and I later ministered it on my daughter.
The following morning, my baby sneezed once and the bead lodged in her nostril came out. She has been fine since then.
We should trust God to rescue us in times of trouble.

Now Emmanuella Hears God Clearly!
My grandmother was the chief priestess to the water goddess in our village. When I turned 12, I went to live with my grandmother.
At that point, they ritually cut off my dreadlocks and threw them into the water. Apparently, they had initiated me into the marine world.
That initiation brought many problems to my life, including in my relationships, schooling and finances.
I also noticed that I used to have serious issues anytime I went to church. Despite heavy obstacles in my way, I had managed to get tertiary education.
After graduation, however, I had a hard time keeping money. Then I opened up to my mother about my problems and she advised me to seek God in a living church.
I had relocated to Lagos from Delta State and accepted my friends’ advice to go to church with them. Meanwhile, I had looked up churches online. The Synagogue came up among the search results.
I’d decided to go to church, but I didn’t even have transport fare. I reached out to a friend, who gave me double the fare.
I came to The SCOAN Sunday Service and the Lord touched me. My menses had returned afterwards without causing us any embarrassment, as it would normally have done.
Later, the church invited me to come back for further spiritual guidance. They told me to fast and pray for three days.
During this period, I kept asking God for evidence of His power – and the Lord showed me more evidence.

Since my deliverance, I felt divine peace in my soul. I can hear God clearly now and I am far more patient. I have stopped having bad dreams.
Only God can save you; have faith in Him.

A Basket Of Breakthroughs For Eden!
For Eden, a member of The SCOAN who had enjoyed mentoring from Prophet TB Joshua since her days as a youth member of the church, it was a testimony of breakthroughs!
I had acquired my first and second degrees, following which I got a marketing job in the banking industry.
When a bigger opening came, I applied and left it to the Lord after calling the Prayer Line. I got the job – against all expectations!
Until the fifth month of the probation period, it appeared that I was going nowhere. Meanwhile, I had continued to pray with the Anointing Water.
Miraculously, I met and surpassed the target that was to get my confirmation! From then on, I kept getting commendations and awards from all corners.
Then another opening came – this time for branch manager. Although I was the least qualified by way of experience, I applied prayerfully for the job – and I got it!
Never give up; God is good all the time!
The SCOAN Sunday Service Sermon: The Plan of God

Evangelist Chisom’s message at The SCOAN Sunday Service, “The Plan Of God”, drew from Jeremiah 29:11-15, alongside passages such as Hebrews 12:9-12, 1 Corinthians 1:27-29, Acts 10:9-15 as well as verses 44-47, Acts 11:1-2 as well as verses 17-18, Acts 9:1-31, Romans 9:20-21 and Romans 9:15.

The evangelist started by noting God’s plan for every believer to prosper amidst life’s challenges. He described God’s plan as a mystery that unfolds in phases. Only the patient, he said, are able to see this plan unfold in their lives, as many end up succumbing to the pressure of setbacks and limitations.
Further, the preacher stated that tough times prepare God’s chosen people for high places, that is, positions of power and responsibility, which are inevitably slippery places. He said that when we truly prepare for such places, we won’t easily fail because of immaturity, indiscipline, or inexperience.
The Unlikely People

He also spoke about how God often uses people who may not fit common expectations and how fulfilment of His plans differs in the lives of different people.
On that note, he warned the church thus: “That is why we must be careful not to judge or condemn anyone by their present situation because you do not know the plan of God for them.”
Evangelist Chisom then counselled the people to wait on God always, avoiding the trap of impatience, which pushes many into trying to instruct God or follow a known pattern. As such, he warned against judging or condemning anyone, since divine mercy and grace can find anyone at any time.
To end the message, the preacher encouraged the church thus: “Whatever you are going through right now will soon become part of your testimony. You will receive an answer to prayers that will make you forget the pain of the past.
Whatever you are passing through now are just events – events to keep you for a new level in life, events to prepare you for the challenges ahead.”
SCOAN Sunday Service Encouraging Word
“Congratulations to all who have testified today!” Pastor Evelyn Joshua said on joining the people for the Prayer Line ministration during The SCOAN Sunday Service held on September 21, 2025.

The woman of God prayed:
“Father Lord, we thank You for today and always. We thank You for the gift You have put in our hearts. We thank You for the eyes to see and the ears to hear and the mind to think. Father Lord, we are glad, grateful that You know the things that hurt us and understand our fears....
Lord God Almighty, we just ask that You continue to give us the grace to continue to let people know the hope and grace they have found in You. Every power in Heaven and on earth belongs to You, O Lord, and so fill us with Your strength and power, in the name of Jesus Christ. Let Your mercy, favour, compassion locate us. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray!”

Healing Session at The SCOAN Sunday Service
Having thus besought Heaven, Pastor Evelyn Joshua proceeded to the Prayer Line section at The SCOAN Sunday Service to lay anointed hands on the sick and the troubled. Among them were those having difficulty in walking, osteoarthritis, drug addiction, addiction to smoking, breast lump, and hernia.
Also among those who stood for prayer at The SCOAN Sunday Service were pregnant women, who rested in the assurance at Psalm 27:1-2 – “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.”

Laying Of Hands Session at The SCOAN Sunday Service
At another section of the Prayer Line, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists continued the ministration of prayers of healing, deliverance and breakthrough for the eventual salvation of souls.
As the healing anointing fell on them, they recalled God’s charge at Isaiah 41:10 – “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
From then onwards it was a touch of faith, a touch of hope and a touch sanctioned by Heaven as the anointing broke yokes from yesteryears!

One-On-One Session at The SCOAN Sunday Service
As for the stubborn spirits in some of the people, The SCOAN Evangelists spoke the Word in faith backed by the Spirit, with instant liberation occurring in Jesus’ name!

SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (September 21, 2025)
Pastor Evelyn Joshua

Taking her cue from the choristers, the woman of God sang at the start of the Mass Prayer session during The SCOAN Sunday Service: “Let The Spirit Of The Lord Come Down!”
Reading from 2 Corinthians 3:4-5, she told the church: “Your redemption in Christ Jesus allows you to have dominion.” She told them to say: “Lord Jesus, free my heart! Father Lord, liberate my heart! Give me a new heart – a new heart that loves, seeks, reverences You!”
The woman of God prayed:
“We command every good thing to dwell in your heart! We command the peace, love, progress, kindness of God to dwell in your heart, in the name of Jesus! We command your heart to be pure, to be holy, in the name of Jesus! Let the protection of God be over your finances, family, career, in the name of Jesus!
We command deliverance into your life, in the name of Jesus! May you not be tempted beyond what you can bear, in the name of Jesus! Be freed from every chain! Be healed from every affliction by which satan is tormenting you!”
To viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua said:

“Position yourself for freedom – freedom that will last forever.” She prayed: “Any hindrance to your progress, fruitfulness, success – be loosed today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every affliction troubling your body – we command it to leave today, in the name of Jesus!”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Evangelists

Evangelist Joseph prayed: “All familiar spirits, contrary spirits, spirits holding you down in bondage, manipulative spirits – anywhere you are: Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
On his part, Evangelist James asked the people to pray: “Every demonic covenant over my life, family – be broken, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist Chisom urged the church to declare: “You spirit, anywhere you are operating from, causing me sickness, listen to the voice of God: My body is not your dwelling place. Out, in the name of Jesus!”
Taking over, Evangelist Ope charged congregants to pray: “You spirit of poverty, hardship, setback operating in my life, family – Out, in the name of Jesus!”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prophet TB Joshua

In a Mass Prayer video during The SCOAN Sunday Service, Prophet TB Joshua decreed: “I command every situation, every challenge to begin to cease, in the name of Jesus Christ!
Everything associated with demons – sickness, affliction, limitation, hatred – Out, in the name of Jesus!
Whatever you don’t want must leave you right now, in the name of Jesus! Whatever is giving you nightmares – I command it to leave right now, in the name of Jesus! Let your story change, in the name of Jesus!”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: The Grace

Before leading the saying of The Grace at The SCOAN Sunday Service, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prophesies upon the people: “The door that God has opened for you today – nothing shall close it, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
