Those that attended The SCOAN Service on Sunday 6^th May 2018 and those that watched live on Emmanuel TV were touched, inspired and moved by the message of Prophet T.B. Joshua, titled, “Read The Bible With Forgiveness”.

The prophet explained, “To develop your relationship with the Holy Ghost, you must read your Bible daily with a free spirit. If not, you are reading history or a novel. Talking about what makes the Bible different from other books, the prophet said, “When you are reading the Bible, you are reading the Holy Ghost. It demands the state of your heart. When you open the Bible to read, you are hearing God talk”.

Directing the question straight at the hearts of those who heard him, the man of God asked, “What is the state of your heart while reading the Bible?”

Emphasizing on cultivating the right attitude whilst reading, the prophet said, “Read the Bible slowly, attentively and repeatedly. The more you read the Bible, the more you will understand about yourself and this God who created you. The one fact that makes the Word of God so unique and special is the indwelling of the Holy Ghost”.

The prophet encouraged the congregation to not just be church goers but to get involved in God’s plan and projects because no state of being is as rewarding as living in tune with God.

This profound teaching was followed by a demonstration of the Spirit’s power as evil spirits that had tormented peoples’ lives for so long were exposed and cast out, in Jesus’ name. Speaking directly to the viewers who joined the service from all over the world, the prophet declared: “Those who wait upon the Lord shall NEVER be disappointed! Be delivered, in the name of Jesus, from the spirit that holds your health, family, finances, career and future!”

I THREW MY NECK COLLAR AWAY

Mrs Christianah Olu suffered from cervical spondylosis for a very long time, which resulted in a stiff neck that made sleeping a frustrating and painful struggle. Having exhausted all medical treatments, the doctors last resort for comfort was a recommendation for her to use a neck collar. The comfort however never came because Mrs Olu’s pain never went away. With all human effort exhausted, she turned to the Master Healer, Jesus Christ and visited The SCOAN, where Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her and her testimony was restored. Smiling with joy while giving her testimony, she turned her neck from left to right to demonstrate her complete healing, to the glory of God.

 

 

FAVOURED BY GOD

For four years, Mrs Favour Oganwu suffered excruciating pain from a dislocated cervical spine problem immediately after giving birth. Her ailment stopped her from all her household chores including carrying her baby. The things she used to do with ease before became a daunting task throughout the past four years. The only result from the many hospitals that she visited was a neck collar recommended by doctors to ease the constant pain. In sharing her testimony to the people of God, she said that as soon as the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua touched and prayed for her, the pain disappeared immediately and she felt light. Mrs Favour Oganwu’s dislocated cervical spine became a thing of the past and now she can carry her baby. To God be the glory!

 

 

JESUS CAME ON THE SCENE AND HEALED ME! 
Lerato Motsoari from South Africa suffered a lot of pain and discomfort due to the problem of Lymphodema – an affliction that brought her to The SCOAN. Fluid would not flow evenly in her legs and the swelling in her legs and feet caused her a lot of concern. As a teacher this problem led to her low self-esteem. Having one leg bigger than the other caused her to be self-conscious and worry about how her students would view her. Buying shoes for her swollen feet was also a problem.

When she came to The SCOAN and encountered the man of God in the service, he instructed her to place her hands on her legs. As she did this, her body began to shake uncontrollably as the healing process took its course – an experience that Lerato says she could not explain. Standing at a distance from Lerato, the prophet explained to the congregation that the instant reaction was an evidence that Jesus had instantly come onto the scene. Following her healing, she shared her testimony a week later. Touching the once swollen feet, Lerato demonstrated that she is able to walk without any pain or discomfort!

 

JESUS THE HEALER STILL LIVES

Anna Lukong suffered from ceased menstruation for 1 year and 6 months, a time that seemed like eternity for the young woman from Cameroon. When her menstrual flow refused to come, she went to the doctors where various tests were conducted but there was no solution in sight. One day, she was watching Emmanuel TV and resolved to use her faith to put a demand on the anointing as Prophet T.B. Joshua was praying for the viewers. To her amazement, the power of God rushed through her body and she began to vomit. The next morning, Anna was overjoyed to see her menstruation return. Advising all to believe for their own miracle, she said, “Jesus, the Healer still lives”.

 

 

 

 

THE EVIL THAT MAN DOES LIVES AFTER HIM!!!

“Your past life was very, very bad. The evil that a man does lives after him.” The prophetic message struck right to the core. In one word, Prophet T.B. Joshua sliced open Samuel’s deepest, darkest secrets – the illicit activities he practiced in the night whilst everyone else was asleep. The young Nigerian was living in South Africa but facing increasing challenges in his pursuit of money. A friend in Malaysia, who he saw was ‘living large’, invited him to the Asian country, promising to introduce him to a new ‘lucrative’ business.

There, Samuel was initiated into the devilish act of internet scamming. Taught the tricks of the trade, Samuel would pose as a rich divorced man seeking for love online via Facebook. After racketing up unsuspecting followers – mostly elderly, desperate single women – the scam would begin in earnest. Samuel would chat with women to the intimate degree of promising marriage to them. Beguiled and seemingly ‘in love’, Samuel would then start to milk them of their money, using the website of a fake bank to lure them into transferring huge amounts of money on the premise of them arranging a physical meeting and subsequent nuptials.

Some women would even take loans to fulfill his financial requests, not knowing they were dealing with a fraudster. Samuel too began to live large, driving the latest cars and womanizing at will. However, the lifestyle came with drastic consequences. Samuel began experiencing terrible spiritual attacks with garish nightmares that robbed him of both peace and sleep. The attack then manifested physically with a severe neck pain that caused him intense agony. “I had money but lost everything else,” Mr Obi recounted, realizing that he needed to visit The SCOAN for healing and deliverance. After the pinpoint word of prophecy, alongside a prayer for healing, Samuel testified that all the pain in his body had disappeared alongside the urge to commit crime. “Don’t believe everything people tell you on the internet,” he advised. “Don’t imitate people who are ‘living big’ without knowing the source of their money,” he concluded.

 

HEALED OF DEGENERATIVE DISEASE THROUGH THE NEW MORNING WATER  

With searing pain running up and down her legs, sleepless nights became the order of the day for Angela Emmanuel, a university lecturer at Cross River University of Technology. Preparing for lectures and standing for long periods became so tedious to the point that she had to retire early from her work! Upon going to the doctors, she was diagnosed to have lumbar spondylosis and osteo-degenerative disease. “She would pour water on her body throughout the night,” explained her grown up daughter whose normal life was also affected by her mother’s severe pain.

Angela Emmanuel put her faith in God believing there is nothing too hard for the Lord and came to The SCOAN. “Immediately the New Morning Water was ministered to me – everything disappeared automatically,” said Angela.
Today, Mrs Angela Emmanuel is back to good health and can function normally – pain free.

 

 

RECONCILIATION AFTER 20 YEARS OF REJECTION!!!

Mr Roland Asho-Ojong, a Cameroonian, established himself abroad as a dealer in counterfeit money. He engineered the distribution of fake currencies through the black markets. As an international traveler, he later travelled to Uzbekistan – a Central Asian nation – where he became very notorious but prominent in his underworld business dealings. However, the law soon caught up with him and he was busted and thrown behind bars. He faced 12 years of imprisonment but was released after serving 8 years and 9 months in jail. Upon his return home with nothing to show, he attempted to rebuild his life in Cameroon but there was no breakthrough in sight. Reconciling with himself that he needed God’s Hand to release himself from business failure, he travelled to The SCOAN to seek breakthrough from God.

During the time of prophecy, the Spirit of God located Mr Roland and Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied that he had rejected a child born unto him. Roland quickly confirmed the prophecy that pointed to the son he disowned 20 years ago. He said a young woman he had an affair with claimed to have become pregnant and later gave birth to a child he felt did not bear any resemblance to him. This physical assessment led him to conclude that the infant was not his and that he was not ready to enter into fatherhood at his school-attending age. As the prophet spoke, Roland had to come to terms with the fact that his rejection of the child he fathered was the root cause to all his problems. He positioned himself to stop disagreeing and to agree with the fact that indeed he is the father of a son disowned 20 years ago.

Now a young adult, Mr. Roland’s son Kennedy Agbor and her mother arrived at The SCOAN in response to the invitation by Prophet T.B. Joshua. This gave Roland the opportunity he so yearned for to apologize and beg for forgiveness from Kennedy and his mother. To God be the glory, father and son hugged and through tears of joy, Kennedy said he had forgiven his father. Roland promised to take up all the responsibility he had previously neglected concerning the welfare and upkeep of his son.

 

AND THE TURBULENCE WAS CONQUERED

Shedding tears of thanks and praise, Associate Professor (Dr) Benjamin from the University of Jos shared a thrilling testimony of how Jesus lifted up the plane he was in that was hurtling towards the sea!

“I want you to listen intently to my testimony,” said Dr Benjamin. As a Partner of Emmanuel TV, he had received the New Morning Water early this year and upon instruction, kept it close to him at all times.

Dr Benjamin was on a seemingly smooth journey from Abuja to Lagos State when turbulence hit. The pilot made an announcement for everyone to be calm but soon the plane began moving in an uncontrolled manner as if it wanted to summersault. Dr Benjamin began to pray fervently. “What came into my heart was the prayer point of Prophet T.B. Joshua, ‘Start thanking Jesus Christ for having faith in Him for a more glorious answer to our prayer’”.

“The plane was heading down; we were heading towards the sea. I brought out my New Morning Water and ministering it said, ‘Son of David have mercy on me, let Your mercy speak for me!’”
At that same point there was a mighty roar from the engine and the plane rose back up. It was later explained that they had been hovering over the sea due to bad weather conditions, preventing them from landing. After hovering for two turbulent hours – fuel was low so we had to fly back to Abuja.

Dr Benjamin called The SCOAN and received a message from Prophet T.B. Joshua asking them ‘To fly back to Lagos and that everything will be fine’. The plane was refueled in Abuja and we boarded the aircraft for the second time but this time, the weather was excellent, the journey was smooth. Dr Benjamin advised listeners, “We should see changing lives, nations and the world as an assignment from God; use what God has given you”.
