OUR SITUATION QUALIFIES US FOR A BLESSING

The first service began with a rendition of faith-strengthening songs by the choir that lasted for about three hours.

A sermonwas preached by Wise Man Racine titled, The Right Foundation.

The thrust of his message was faith. Faith, according to him, “is not a natural issue but a spiritual issue to be discerned and operated spiritually”. He differentiated between faith and feelings and stressed that “faith comes when the Word prevails over the thinking process”.

The message of the man of God, Prophet TB Joshua centred in the imperative of the Bible. But before he elaborately stressed this, he appreciated the presence of the congregation and said: “Tell your neighbour, you are here already. God uses our situation to qualify us for a blessing. If you are sick and you enter here, you will receive healing. God keeps using everything He has made. He used a fish to give Peter the money he needed to pay his tax. He used water to turn a marriage ceremony into a place of miracle.”

He said the answers to all problems are in the Word of God (the Bible) and admonished the people to always read it. His Words: “Read it, to keep you away from sin and error. Read it, it is so profitable. Read it, it has a healing power. Read it, it has a purifying power. Read it, it has a converting power. Read it, it rejoices the heart. Read it, it is food for the soul. Read it, it is your spiritual weapon.”

“If you pray without reading the Bible, it is as bad as if you are not praying”, he said. He said the Bible must be read before praying and that the two must go together. To further concretise the need to read the Word, he added: “The Bible is in you and you in it. It is the food for your soul. If it is in your heart, it becomes an integral part of you; it becomes a belief.”

The prophet thanked God Almighty for giving Wise Man Harry the grace to pray for the thousands who attended the Revival meetings held in the USA.

 

MRS AGNES NWANKWO – A WOMAN WHOSE SON WAS DISTURBING HER

The woman came to testify to the accuracy of the prophecy by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. She said her son had been giving her problems for some years and that she had been the one taking care of him. She said, “I give him money and food always; and since he grew up, he has been smoking and drinking and this has caused him sicknesses. I took him to many places for cure, but there was no success.”

The woman said she felt the need to find a woman for him to marry, perhaps as a strategy to make him responsible and consequently do away with the dirty habits. But this didn’t work. “I found four different wives for him but in turn, each of them ran away. The fourth wife is of my age. They couldn’t stay with him because he continued to drink and smoke. This later led him to being operated”, she revealed.

The 70-year-old woman who the man of God said had been dying in silence and sick as a result of the travails, claimed that the man was her first son and his junior brother was in Germany. “Others are not happy because I give him everything he requests”, she said.

She brought the 47 year old man to the church and confirmed the accuracy of the prophecy. The prophet assured her that her son would be delivered and after that, he would begin to take care of her.

 

SUNDAY OGUNDELE – ENGAGED IN OCCULTIC ACTS

Mr Sunday who was delivered from the clutches of demons came to the church to testify to the accuracy of the prophecy by the man of God, Prophet TB Joshua. He said (in line with what the prophet revealed) he had a certain room in his house and a spiritual book he consulted always. He also said that he attempted to commit suicide and that he had a baby girl he abandoned in Liberia, as prophesied by the man of God. He narrated his encounter with the devil: “When I was going to Liberia, I got stranded. There, I saw a man that connected me to occultic acts. He gave me a kolanut, which I accepted. He also gave me a spiritual book and the content is how to meet demons”.

He said, “From 1am to 3am, I would see a bird and that the bird would wake me up…. that I should cover my body with a red cloth. I did everything and I saw the demons face-to-face. The demons told me to rub the dust on my face…”

He said that in order to deceive people from knowing the actual job he was into, he established a centre and labelled it ‘church’ which he called ‘New Hope Ministry’, where he used the demons to control the minds of people, and to prevent them from knowing where he was at a particular point in time. He said he used evil spirits which gave him the words he spoke. “The man I met gave me some words I used to invoke the evil spirits. I manipulated people with these spirits to get money”, he further revealed.

He said it was the spirit that told him to go and commit suicide and use a razor blade to cut his ‘organ’. “But immediately after my deliverance, my body no longer respond to the call of the evil spirits”, he confidently stated. The prophet said that Sunday would go to Liberia to meet his daughter who was not yet two years old, which he had abandoned.

BARRISTER LUKE – THE PROBLEM OF HEAVY SNORING SOLVED

The man was delivered from the problem of heavy snoring. He had come to the church to testify to the truth of the prophecy.

He said, “The man of God came to me and prophesied that my snoring is embarrassing and has been so for some years”.  He said it had been his most kept secret for 10 years and that when he started snoring, it was as if he was dying. He revealed that his kids were fond of mimicking the way he snored, stressing that he had gone to many hospitals for medical treatment, but no success was achieved.

The social implications of such dilemma were captured in his words: “The problem made me not to go out. I did not attend social functions or sleep with friends. I was down.” He said after the deliverance, the problem ceased henceforth, and that his wife was shocked when she observed that he no longer snored.

He stated that his door of success had opened, and assured that his family would come to The Synagogue to testify to the goodness of God in his life.

 

SAMSON OSEI – THE PROBLEM OF POVERTY SOLVED

He came to The SCOAN from Ghana to testify the power of Jesus Christ through the Anointing Water in his life. He said he had contended with the problem of poverty for a long time and had resulted in persistent borrowing before he could eat. “A pastor introduced me to Emmanuel Television; and when I came to The SCOAN, I saw the man of God, Prophet TB Joshua, who I narrated my ordeal to, particularly the difficulty in getting a contract. He laid his hands on me and gave me the Anointing Water. I prayed with it every morning and before going to offices to search for contracts”, he said.

He said that the responses of the people to his requests had been impressive, stressing that he sprayed all his documents and his body with the Anointing Water before leaving for the offices. He said on the 3^rd of February, 2012, an approval was given to him to execute a contract worth thousands of dollars, noting that it was the biggest contract he had ever had in his life. “Jesus Christ has changed my life from poverty to riches”, he graciously claimed.

MRS AINA OLUKANA – HEALED OF BONE FRACTURE

A video was shown to confirm the healing power of the Holy Spirit. After 11 years of being healed of multiple bone fractures due to an accident, she came to the church to confirm the spiritual potency of the healing.

She said prior to her being healed by Jesus Christ, she had visited several hospitals and bone setters, without the slightest assurance of being cured. She said it was when they wanted to amputate her leg that her mum quickly brought her to The SCOAN.

He commented on the opening ceremony of Emmanuel School at Lahore, Pakistan, saying that 70% of the leaders of tomorrow were among those who are orphans and needed to be helped. Commissioned on the 9th of March, 2012 and shown on Emmanuel TV, grateful parents and teachers expressed appreciation to Prophet T.B. Joshua and Emmanuel TV Partners for their efforts. “Our mission is to make sure that these children become what God wants them to become…” he said.

MASS PRAYER

Prophet T.B. Joshua made reference to the book of Luke 19 verse 39-40 “Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” to introduce the time of prayer.

“God keeps using everything He has made. He used the stars to motivate Abraham’s faith for children”, he affirmed.

THE PRAYER LINE

Many people who had been suffering from different diseases/sicknesses, were completely healed and loosed from their bondages.

 

SECOND SERVICE:

This was mainly centred on prayers and prophetic messages by the wise men.

VERONICA, DELIVERED FROM EATING ICE CUBES:

Veronica, who hails from South Africa, said she had been eating ice cubes every morning and in the evening, for two years.

A flight attendant on airlines, she said she had the cubes in her bag and had been eating them regularly. “The problem gave me anaemia, toothaches and cracked teeth”, she said. She said despite the fact that she had always promised her family and friends to desist from eating the cubes, the problem remained unabated. She was delivered by Jesus Christ through Wise Man Racine. When she was told to eat the cubes, she said they were too cold for her to eat. There were many prophetic messages given by the wise men and several deliverances attesting to the power of the Holy Ghost.

 

The Prophet prayed for everybody in the church, gave some prophetic messages and those who were afflicted by demons were delivered.
