Our role in receiving the gifts of healing, deliverance, blessings and salvation lies in exercising faith and looking beyond sense evidence – or what our situation is saying. That was the reminder from Pastor Evelyn Joshua during the service of May 25, 2025 after her return from the city of Johannesburg, where she had served as God’s vessel at The Holy Spirit Visitation In South Africa.
Before being joined by the woman of God, congregants had spent quality time in worship, led by The SCOAN Choristers. With their hearts fixed on the Alpha and Omega, they asked for mercy from the Throne of Grace and sang of the Lord’s goodness always. Hailing the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, they proclaimed, “O Lord, We Give You Thanks/For All You Have Done!”
They went on to sing about the transformation of their lives after a touch from the Creator. With their worship coming from a deep place, the people called down the Host of Heaven and the anointing descended into their midst, causing many to reach points of intimation in the spirit. “Sin’s Power Over Me Is Broken!” they declared.
Upon climbing on the altar, Pastor Evelyn Joshua broke into a song of gratitude: “I’ve Come To Say How Much I Love You!” She thanked everyone for continuing to support The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV. In particular, she thanked them for their prayers following the success of the revival service in South Africa on May 16, 2025. She described God’s move in the country as a product of both God’s promise to release His Holy Spirit and the people’s faith in the finished work on the Cross.
She quoted John 14:12 and Acts 10:44 and remarked, “Our faith never goes beyond our confession.” According to her, receiving from God begins from professing our belief in His power and acting out this trust in the steps that we take. “In an atmosphere of belief, the work of God becomes easy,” she observed. She then charged the people to play their own part in receiving by silencing the voice of doubt coming from their situation. “Let us do what is right even if it is contrary to what we would naturally want to do,” she counselled the church.
Speaking about the Partnership Meeting of May 17 and the charity event of May 19, Pastor Evelyn Joshua stressed the importance of cooperating with others in doing the work of God, through which the needs of others are met. “A threefold cord is not easily broken,” she had reminded the Partners. She had further urged them to remain aware that, no matter one’s status, everyone is a solution to a problem somewhere. Pricking the people’s conscience, she said to them: “Someone is waiting for you and you cannot disappoint them; you must not disappoint them.”
Charged With Power From On High
As those on the Prayer Line opened their hearts to the Spirit of God, power from on high flowed into them, dispelling the troubles in their minds and bodies.
Among them were those having issues such as cervical spondylosis, hole in the heart, asthma, sickle cell anaemia, addiction to eating soil, difficulty in breathing, severe abdominal pain, fatty liver, and enlarged prostate. Upon each case did God’s healing hands fall.
The wombs of the pregnant women present also aligned with the rhythm of Heaven as the woman of God spoke positivity into their cases.
Moving to another section of the Prayer Line, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists declared healing upon cases of colon cancer, swollen neck, partial stroke, piles, drinking/smoking addiction, seizures, epilepsy, armpit boil, hand fracture, swollen belly, mental disorder, chronic headache, hernia, bladder stone, drug addiction, gambling addiction, and neck stiffness, etc.
Having taken the first necessary step of faith, knowing that it is not all up to Jesus Christ, the people had their expectations met according to Heaven’s design.
And as hands were laid under the authority of Jesus Christ, every touch came with a blessing for each recipient.
Following God’s Word in Mark 16:17 – “These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages” – every stubborn case also received resolution in Jesus’ name!
And They Saw The Salvation Of Their God!
When it was time for the Mass Prayer, Evangelist Joseph told the people: “Stand still and see the salvation of your God. The enemies you see today – you shall see them no more. Position yourself to receive.”
He prayed: “Contrary spirits, hidden spirits, messengers of satan, familiar spirits, unclean spirits saying no to your breakthrough, all demons behind your sorrow – anywhere they are, we order them: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist Chisom told congregants to pray: “You demon, you unclean spirit operating in my life, business, family – I command you: Out!”
“You unclean spirit, you demon – the cause of sickness, the cause of disease – I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!” Evangelist James asked the church to decree. He told them to proclaim, “You disease in my body – be flushed out, in the name of Jesus!”
Taking over, Evangelist Ope asked the people to decree: “You spirit of rising and falling in my business, in my career – Out, in the name of Jesus!”
Speaking with divine authority, Pastor Evelyn Joshua declared: “That powerful hand of healing, deliverance, blessing is touching you right now! Be healed, be delivered, in the name of Jesus Christ! May the power of healing, deliverance rest upon you, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be healed in your soul, spirit, body, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be restored, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
For viewers all over the world, the woman of God prayed: “May your business, career, marriage, lost joy, lost glory be restored, in the name of Jesus!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “Those in darkness – in the name of Jesus, come out! Those in captivity – be freed, in the name of Jesus! Whatever situation you are in – freedom from sickness to good health! Those who are oppressed – be delivered! You are saved, freed, in the name of Jesus!”

And Her Faith Made Her Whole!
Before receiving prayer on May 18, 2025, 60-year-old Justina had appealed to Jesus Christ for help over the problem of osteoarthritis. A few months back, she had woken up to severe pain in her left knee. “I couldn’t do my work as a fashion designer and frequently fell inside the house,” she told the church a week later. Despite getting medications and a knee brace, Justina’s osteoarthritis didn’t get much better. “I decided to take my case to Jesus Christ,” she recalled. After an evangelist prayed for Justina, she stood up and started walking freely again. Now she has returned to work. She advised others to take their challenges to God.
For Edith, Anointing Accomplishes What Money Couldn’t!
Sometime in 2017, Edith had suddenly found her waist weighed down by excruciating pain. Consequently, she couldn’t do most of her chores. “I went to the hospital but didn’t get better despite taking drugs and doing other things to lessen the pain,” she said on May 25, 2025. Doctors had diagnosed her with lumbar spondylosis. In faith, however, Edith came to The SCOAN and returned home with the Anointing Water. “I started ministering the Water and the Lord took my pain away,” she continued. Now able to do all that she couldn’t do before, she advised others to trust in God. Her fish-farmer husband said, “We are here to return all the glory to God Almighty – thank You, Jesus!”
For Yolanda, Deliverance Brings Inner Peace And Reconciliation
Yolanda, a South African, testified about her miracle of deliverance. “My parents had taken me to a spiritualist while I was much younger,” she began on May 25, 2025. At the spiritualist’s home, Yolanda had been made to bathe with the blood of animals. A few years later, that ritual bath, even if it cured her bodily illness, actually affected her life in other ways. “I became an unruly child and lost interest in academics,” she explained. Later, she got into bad company and started living riotously, clubbing and drinking always. She was also having dreams of a spirit husband.
Along the line, in 2008, Yolanda met the man who is now her husband. “He tried hard until he succeeded in pulling me out of that group,” she said. He also introduced her to Emmanuel TV, which Yolanda initially found uncomfortable. In the end, after seeing images of Prophet TB Joshua in her dream, Yolanda acknowledged the power of the Living God, even though she continued to struggle with her present way of life. In 2021, she developed a chronic headache that made sleep difficult for her. “I was always aggressive and bossy towards my family,” she admitted. To cut a long story short, Yolanda made her way to The SCOAN and received the prayer of deliverance as Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered.
Since then, she has come into the peace of freedom from nightmares, from addiction and from riotous living. She is now fully cooperative with her husband. “I apologised to him for the first time,” she said. “Run to God,” she advised others.
