On Sunday, January 14, 2024, people of faith gathered again in The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) to witness God’s healing, liberating and saving power in an age when satan and his agents have been trying to sow seeds of doubt in the minds of the unwary. Worshippers yet again saw the fruits of the Spirit on display as listed by Apostle Paul in Galatians 5:22-23. Indeed, the service highlighted the fruits of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Led to give thanks to God Almighty by the choristers, congregants sang of His goodness, mercy and compassion all through the years. They proclaimed: “You Are The Lord/Let Your Name Be Glorified!”

A Call To Love For God’s Sake
In a sermon pulsating with the presence of the Holy Ghost and the power of the Word, Evangelist Ope addressed the basis of the Christian journey: loving and obeying the Lord unconditionally. He took his reading from John 21:15-17, the passage where Jesus Christ asks Simon Peter if he loved Him more than the cares of the world, among which were self, money, popularity, fame, position, pleasure, and life itself. Evangelist Ope asked congregants, “Do you love Jesus Christ more than these?” It was a question that pricked the people’s conscience. After a few seconds of silence, he anchored his response on John 6:26: “Love has lost its original meaning. Today we love one another for selfish, classic and material reasons.”

Citing God’s Word in John 14:15 & 23 and John 13:34 for the sermon titled “MORE THAN THESE”, the preacher recommended Jesus’ unconditional love as the standard to follow. “Jesus wants us to love one another unconditionally and not for fleshly gain,” he asserted. And to whom should we show this love? He answered: everyone regardless of their colour, creed, character or qualifications. Accordingly, we are to show love to even those who do not want to hear anything good about us. “Loving your enemy is always unreasonable,” he went on, “until you come to realise that you were an enemy of God before He forgave you.” Pressing further he said, “To love your neighbour as Christ loves you is to see your neighbour the way Jesus sees them.”

Regarding the nature of love, Evangelist Ope stated that it brings unity, does not discriminate, breaks down barriers, removes hindrances, dissolves prejudice, misunderstanding and suspicion, and helps true Christians to see the wound of one as the wound of all. “Love is our bond,” he declared. Citing other verses of Scripture such as John 13:34, Matthew 5:44 & 46, Colossians 3:14 and 1 John 4:8, he noted that the urge to love may not be natural, just as it is with the act of showing faith. In some of his final words, the evangelist stated matter-of-factly: “How do you know that you are spiritual? It is not by prayer and fasting alone! It is futility of self-effort to fast and pray without love. All our doings are nothing, fruitless, baseless, worthless without love. Love is the measure of true spirituality! If you do not have love, you are not spiritual.”

The Jesus Christ We Know In The Synagogue!
“The Jesus Christ we know is the Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Ghost,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the people as she reiterated to them “some of the statements of faith” of The SCOAN. Among these statements of faith, she noted, were the beliefs that the Holy Spirit worked with The Father to create the world, that The Father gave us His Spirit to be like His Son, that Jesus Christ is a Soul Winner, that God Almighty does nothing without His Word, that sin leads to death and destruction while God’s Word points humankind to eternal life, that salvation sets us free from sin and its penalties, and that everyone will give account of their time on earth on Judgement Day. Referencing John 14:16-17, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and Matthew 6:9-13, the woman of God urged the people to be calm and to examine everything in the light of God’s Word. She also reminded them that material pleasures and comfort are temporary, while “joy and peace are things that only believers have.”

Speaking further, Pastor Evelyn Joshua warned the people: “Whatever you claim to be doing, whatever you claim to know, without love it is nothing!” She then led congregants to pray: “O come, Holy Spirit! Fill me with Your fire of love. I need Your power in my life. You are the Vine. I am the branch of the Vine. My life flows from You and because my life flows from You, help me to love so that it can grow from my heart to meet others.”

God’s Wondrous Works In The SCOAN Akure!
Before the ministration of prayers, congregants and viewers were shown clips of the midweek service in The SCOAN Akure branch, where Pastor Evelyn Joshua presided on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. The people saw Evangelist Joseph share a word of faith with the people. They also saw Pastor Evelyn Joshua encourage Christians to stay united against the enemy. “You must not lose your guard as a child of God,” she reminded the people, while also urging them not to forget that God, not man, is the foundation of The SCOAN.
After her message, Pastor Evelyn Joshua led The SCOAN Evangelists to minister prayer in the all-conquering name of Jesus Christ, with hundreds touched from Heaven. Many also received the incredible during the Mass Prayer session of the service.
And The Lord Revealed Himself Again To The People!

Meanwhile, in The SCOAN Lagos, before starting the ministration of prayers, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Thank God Almighty – all praises to our Lord and King! Here we are again at the Emergency Section. We all came to seek the face of God here, and our God is a faithful God. He will reveal Himself to you, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Holding on to Jeremiah 17:14 and Isaiah 53:5, and with belief in their heart, people from all walks of life came to seek God’s face over issues such as difficulty in walking, piles, hernia, chronic back pain, wrist dislocation, high blood pressure, anaemia, oligospermia, swollen scrota, goitre, leg ulcer, mental disorder, skin disease, neck ulcer, and toe injury, etc.

Women suffering from chronic bleeding and those searching for the fruit of the womb also received a touch of healing and liberation from dark forces. To the glory of God, the gates of hell did not prevail and demons confessed their atrocities before fleeing from the people’s lives during prayer by Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists.
Indeed, in The SCOAN, Jesus Christ remains the Healer, the Deliverer and the Saviour – the One in whose name alone demons are cast out!

Jehovah Rapha, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Jireh!
“In the presence of God there is fullness of joy, and your joy shall be permanent, in Jesus’ name,” Evangelist James declared upon the people at the start of the Mass prayer session. He read from John 1:4-5 and said to the people: “Ask Jesus to shine His light on whatever area of your life that is experiencing darkness. Every unclean, familiar, contrary spirit operating in your life – command it out in the name of Jesus.” He also urged the people to decree: “You unclean, familiar spirit, enough is enough to your operation in my life, family! I command you out, in Jesus’ name!”

Evangelist Chisom told the people to pray: “You demon, unclean spirit — anywhere you are, you are darkness. I command you by the light of God: Out!”

Evangelist Joseph told the people to declare: “Every familiar spirit, contrary spirit against your health – Holy Ghost Fire: Out! You affliction in my body, you poison in my system, you disease in my heart, you sickness in my kidneys – anywhere you are, I command you: Out!”

Evangelist Ope told congregants to declare: “You spirit, I call you by your name. You spirit of limitation in my family, anywhere you are – Holy Ghost Fire: Out!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the people to pray: “O Lord God Almighty, by Your name Jehovah Rapha, bring healing to my body, soul, spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ!” She prayed for them: “Receive your healing, in the name of Jesus Christ! Healing from that affliction, disease, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

The woman of God told the people to declare: “O Lord God Almighty, by Your name Jehovah Nissi, give me victory today!” She prayed: “Victory in your life, health, family, marriage, job, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the people to declare: “O Lord God Almighty, by Your name Jehovah Jireh, provide for me today, in the name of Jesus Christ!” She pronounced upon the people: “Breakthrough to your life, business, career, job, family, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

The Woman In The Synagogue told the people to declare: “O Lord God Almighty, by Your name Jehovah Shalom, let Your peace reign in my life today!” She pronounced upon congregants: “We say peace in your life, health, family, job, way, in the lives of your children, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

Turning to viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua declared: “Every wall of destruction built around you – may they begin to crumble right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every wall of destruction built in and outside of your home – may they begin to crumble right now, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every giant, every spirit that is challenging your Sonship in Christ Jesus – may they begin to crumble right now, in the name of Jesus! Receive your freedom – freedom as you go out, freedom as you come in, freedom in your life, freedom in your business, freedom in the lives of your children, freedom in your marriage, in the name of Jesus Christ!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua asked the people to release themselves. “Every spirit that is holding you, challenging you, causing you pain, setback in your business, career – begin to release yourself right now, in the name of Jesus.” The man of God prayed: “I release you from that spirit, in the name of Jesus! That spirit – quit, in the name of Jesus! You will be set aside for God’s anointing, glory, goodness! This is my time to be set aside!”
Asking the people to stretch forth their right hand, Prophet TB Joshua declared upon them: “Be delivered, in the name of Jesus! You familiar spirit – out!” He also challenged the people thus: “Whatever wall between you and God’s promises – begin to destroy it, in the name of Jesus! Whatever situation you are in – be delivered, in the name of Jesus! I can see you being delivered, rescued! Every dry bone – receive life! Be revived! Be delivered, in the name of Jesus! Whatever issue challenging your faith – be it sickness, poverty, hardship, worry – be delivered!”

Ifeoma’s Cervical Spondylosis Vanishes At The Sight Of The Anointing
On January 7, 2023, Ifeoma sat at The SCOAN Prayer Line to receive prayer over a condition that had badly affected her life for the last three years: cervical spondylosis, which meant that she had severe stiffness of the neck. The Abuja resident had gone from one doctor to another without finding relief. Despite using a neck collar and taking numerous drugs, she never got better. To the glory of God, however, Ifeoma received her perfect healing after ministration by Pastor Evelyn Joshua. Concluding her testimony a week later, Ifeoma glorified God for healing her. Her husband also blessed God’s name.

Twenty-eight Years After, Eukeria’s Leg Ulcer Healing Remains!
For the glory of God, Eukeria, a grandmother, returned to The SCOAN to re-testify about her healing from a leg ulcer that had resulted from a dog bite in the year 1996. “My leg was about to be amputated then, as there was nothing else the doctors could do for me,” she said on January 14, 2024. In faith, she had visited The SCOAN for prayer and the hideousness of her sores had not prevented Prophet TB Joshua from ministering to her in love. “Within a week, my leg started to heal,” Eukeria recalled, alongside her 34-year-old daughter who had been only 11 years old when Eukeria was experiencing severe pain. “Since that day, my leg has stayed healed and I can do everything,” Eukeria demonstrated to the world. Her daughter glorified God’s name for His goodness. Indeed, Jesus Christ remains the Healer! Thank You, Lord!

Over Two Decades After, Badly Broken Arm And Leg Stay Healed!
Sometime in the year 2006, Kingsley received prayer in The Arena Of Liberty over the grievous injuries that he had suffered in a fatal accident that spared only his own life. “I emptied my account over this incident and stayed in hospital for so long, yet I was discharged without being able to walk,” the commercial driver testified on January 14, 2023. He had been unable to help himself, almost giving up on life. Persuaded by his sister to bring his case to The SCOAN for prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Kingsley had eventually come in an in-law’s car. “The man of God prayed for me and asked me to get on my feet,” he recalled. Since then, Kingsley has been leading a life of ease and success. “My three sons are now graduates,” he informed the world. He urged people to believe in God and to attend a living church.

“I am a family curse!” declared the demon in Patricia on January 7, 2023. The demon went on to confess that it had tried to kill Patricia four days earlier. “If not for the Anointing Water that her sister gave her, she would have died,” the demon went on, amidst other confessions. As the evangelist commanded fire on the demon, Patricia’s body responded involuntarily to God’s power. A week later, she returned to church for her testimony. She started by telling how she had used to eat some of the food sacrificed to family idols during her younger days. She also spoke about the effects of the rituals on her life. “I was always aggressive towards my children and husband, who eventually left the home,” she told the church. Patricia also told of how the demon made it impossible for her to run any business successfully. “In my dreams a snake kept eating up my money,” she disclosed. She went on, “That demon made my children afraid of me, always staying away from me.” Since her deliverance, however, Patricia has become a loving mother to her children. “My husband called me right after my deliverance,” she grinned. “He even called me ‘Mummy’ and told me he loved me,” her face now a full smile. “It is good to know God,” she advised the world.
