Once done with the opening prayer session and asking the Son Of David to show them mercy, congregants in The Synagogue began to exalt the Lord in songs of worship. The more they sang on the last day of June 2024, the more the people got into the Spirit, pleading for the Almighty to hear the meditations of their hearts. They called on Abba Father, the Ancient Of Days who never changes, to accept their worship. With the Holy Spirit having descended into their midst, congregants could sense that they would not get the judgment that they truly deserve.
And as Evangelist Joseph joined them for his sermon entitled “Maintain Your Source”, he urged them to declare with faith, “Though I may face turbulence, difficult circumstances, I shall never be shaken because I am rooted deeply in the Solid Rock of God, Jesus Christ.” He then read from Psalm 119:39 and referred congregants to John 5:14. In an earlier message, he had spoken on the need for Christians to make Jesus Christ their Source; therefore, in the present sermon he stressed the importance of staying in permanent contact and communion with God for maintaining their blessings. “To maintain our Source, we must make God’s Word the Source of our maintenance,” he noted.
Evangelist Joseph said it was impossible to be healed, delivered and blessed by God’s Word without being ruled by the same Word for the maintenance of God’s presence. He admonished the church against departing from God’s presence after receiving from His house. Good Christians, he said, do not remember God only when facing crises. In his words: “It is not until you are attacked that you realise and turn to God; not until you experience sickness or poverty before you will turn to God.”
Speaking further, Evangelist Joseph charged congregants to stop giving God conditions on how and when they will worship Him but to seek the incomparable peace that Jesus Christ offers to the believer and that leads to “another fellowship in Heaven”. He advised, “Make God the Source of your blessings and maintenance so that you can enjoy that joy found only in Christ Jesus that passeth all understanding.” He closed with a quotation from Prophet TB Joshua: “The peace of conscience we derive from walking with the Lord produces internal joy, security, assurance of life and ease of heart.”
Our Dependable God, Our reliable God!
As she joined the people for the Prayer Line ministration, Pastor Evelyn Joshua sang of the supernatural God, who is always dependable and reliable.
Before moving to the Prayer Line, the woman of God reminded the people: “As you await a new thing from God, be grateful to Him. Gratitude to God should be the song of every child of God.”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua besought Heaven thus: “Lord, we honour You. We praise You. We glorify Your holy name. We know that Your steadfast love never ceases, for they are new every morning. Great is Your faithfulness over us, O Lord. Your Word says, ‘Come’, and here we are. Your Word says, ‘Call on Me and I will show you great and mighty things that you do not know’. We are calling on You this hour, O Lord. Let there be peace in our lives. Let there be peace in our hearts. Let there be solutions to our problems. Father, make a way for us in our circumstances, in the name of Jesus Christ. Almighty God, strengthen us, empower us, fill us with Your joy so that we can continue to testify of Your goodness to the world, in the name of Jesus Christ! Thank You, Lord! Thank You, Jesus!”
Assured that God Almighty would hear their cries, people came from all over the world with different cases, such as difficulty in walking, severe lumbar spondylosis, chronic waist pain, back pain, knee fracture, asthma, sickle cell anaemia, and goitre, etc. As Pastor Evelyn Joshua laid anointed hands on them, cries of gratitude rang out as the people exclaimed, “Thank You, Jesus!”.
Many expectant mothers also had the Mighty Hand of God fall upon their wombs!
Of a truth, the age of miracles has not passed! And so, the Miracle Worker moved wondrously among the people through His anointed ones, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists. As such, relief came for many with swollen legs, enlarged prostate, mental disorder, drug addiction, difficulty in urinating, leg ulcers, foot injury, and skin disease, among other issues.
The power of the Living God equally manifested in the lives of all who were in the main auditorium, as they received a touch of Heaven for maintaining their communion with the Almighty. On joining the people for the Mass Prayer session, Pastor Evelyn Joshua broke into song: “There Is A Wonderful Name – Jesus/There Is No Other Name I Know!”
The woman of God told congregants, “Position yourself as one who is in need of God’s mercy.” She then asked them to declare: “Dirty as I am, O Lord, You can still cleanse me. Unworthy as I am O Lord, You can make me worthy because no one is too good or too bad to qualify for Your grace. Comfort me, O Lord, as You cleanse me.”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Everything that is causing setback in your way – we declare you free today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every darkness in your way, in your career, in your family – be dispelled! Every immorality, disobedience, unfaithfulness – be broken, in the name of Jesus! Every spirit that steals, kills and destroys – we command it out, in the name of Jesus! Every spirit that is causing trouble in your life – we command it out, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua further prayed: “Father, strengthen them to defend all that is holy! Be freed from every sickness and affliction! Every family curse – bow before you, in the name of Jesus! Be freed! Be healed! Be delivered, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Evangelist Chisom told the people to pray: “You unclean spirit, anywhere you are within and without, tormenting my life – in the name of Jesus: Out! You spirit from my father’s house, from my mother’s house tormenting my life – anywhere you are: Out! You spirit that is not of God, tormenting my life – I command you by the light of God: Out!”
Evangelist Ope told congregants to pray: “You spirit, I call you by your name; anywhere you are, frustrating my efforts, destroying my buildings – Holy Ghost Fire: Out!”
Evangelist James urged the people to declare: “You unclean spirit, the cause of sickness, the cause of disease – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out! You sickness in my body – I command you: Out!”
Evangelist Joseph prayed: “Every veil of shame, disgrace, poverty, disappointment that satan might have placed on you – Out, in Jesus’ name!”

With Deliverance, Rita’s Story Changes From Illness To Health!
On June 23, 2024, Rita joined others from all over the world to worship in The Arena Of Liberty. Although she was a person of faith, her body was experiencing discomfort in a number of ways. Her eyes hurt, her head ached and her stomach was irritable. “I couldn’t eat pepper,” she said on June 30, during her testimony. Moreover, a spirit husband used to bother her life. “I was always unhappy and more or less depressed,” she added as she spoke about stagnancy in all areas of her life. Burden Of Osteoarthritis Lifted, Evil Presence Banished!
Troubled by right-knee osteoarthritis and high blood pressure, 54-year-old Evelyn was in The SCOAN for prayer on June 23, 2024. “Because of my situation, my family stopped me from doing anything at home,” she told the church a week later. Doctors gave her numerous drugs that barely worked. During her childhood, Evelyn used to be taken to witch doctors during bouts of illness. “My grandmother used to sacrifice goats and other animals to idols over my poor health,” she continued. During the Mass Prayer session of The SCOAN Sunday Service of June 23, 2024, Emmanuel vomited a fetish object that he had ingested at a witch doctor’s place years ago. During the deliverance session of the service of June 23, 2024 it transpired that the demon in Chris was after his finances, as it confessed to making him poor. “I used to participate in idol worship while in the village,” he started on June 30, 2024.
