“How well do you maintain your Christian life?” That was the question posed to God’s people during the service of March 23, 2025. Before Evangelist Shina’s message, however, the people had spent quality time in worship, led by The SCOAN Choir. Grateful for another day on the face of the earth, they had prayed for the Son of David to have mercy on them. As they sang, “Every Time I See Another Breaking Of The Day/I Say Thank You, Lord,” the Spirit of the Living God descended into their midst.
Like King David in 2 Samuel 7:18, congregants took out time to celebrate the Lord’s mercifulness over them and their families. “See How Far You’ve Brought Me,” they declared in excitement and added, “I Am So Glad You Found Me Worthy!” Before bringing the worship session to a close, they did not forget to plead for sin’s power over their lives to be broken.
A Timely Reminder For God’s People
Evangelist Shina’s message was a timely reminder for God’s people. Entitled “Maintain Your Christian Life”, the sermon drew from Galatians 2:20, the passage which enjoins us to be crucified with Christ and thus live not according to the dictates of the flesh. “Make God’s Word your rule and His grace your principle,” he urged the church. One of the nuggets from Prophet TB Joshua for the exhortation was the one in which he had warned against thinking or talking on the level of one’s old life.
As Evangelist Shina dug deeper into the message, he assured the congregation that God’s Word leads to a life of pleasure rather than pressure. Those who rely on their relationship with God and His Word, he noted, always end up as overcomers, for “there is no Christian without a Christian service.” He then asked a critical question: “Where does the principle of the lifestyle you live stem from?” The preacher wasted no time in warning the people never to rely on anything other than God and His Word.
Moving on, Evangelist Shina gave his audience a reality check: Regular church attendance or Christian names and titles do not confer the status of believer on anyone; instead, we can only call ourselves God’s elect when we do Heaven’s bidding always, making ourselves a source of help to others. “If you are a Christian, your life would be a source of help rather than a source of hindrance,” he stated. Citing Colossians 3:10, Romans 12:2 and Ephesians 4, among others, Evangelist Shina reiterated to the congregation: “To live practically like Jesus Christ is the most effective way to maintain your Christian life.”
None Like Our Jesus!
“Who is like our Jesus?” Pastor Evelyn Joshua asked as she joined the people for the Prayer Line ministration. She then assured all, “Because God is with us, we can face tomorrow.”
With faith as their currency, the ailing and the burdened gathered to receive a touch sanctioned by Heaven, knowing that one encounter with Jesus Christ changes everything.
Brought before the Master Surgeon were cases such as difficulty in walking, asthma, prostate enlargement, stroke, eye troubles, swollen belly, severe shoulder and hand pain, schizophrenia, thoracic spine lordosis, drug addiction and mental disorder. One by one, each case was resolved in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
Also stepping forward in faith were a number of pregnant women, who had no doubt about God’s Word in Exodus 23:26: “And none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.”
As Pastor Evelyn Joshua and the evangelists continued to minister in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, other issues in the people’s lives went into emergency expiry – for the glory of God!
Indeed, it was relief galore as many more received the touch of liberation, restoration and breakthrough for the ultimate salvation of their souls!
True to God’s Word in Philippians 2:10—“…that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth”—no foul spirit could escape the anointing during the One-On-One session. Thank You, Jesus!
Benediction For The Children of Light
At the start of the Mass Prayer session, Pastor Evelyn Joshua cited Galatians 5:1 as she urged the people: “Stand firm and do not let yourself be burdened again by the works of slavery.”
The woman of God prayed: “We command any power that hinders the manifestation of God’s glory in your life – out! Are they in your business, job, marriage? We command them out! Every stranger that is operating in your life – righteousness must be separated from unrighteousness, light must be separated from darkness! Every darkness in and out of this place – we command them out! Every spirit that kills, steals and destroys – out in the name of Jesus Christ! Every evil attachment to your foundation – we command it to be uprooted, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua continued: “Every killer disease – we command it out, in the name of Jesus Christ! Low sperm count, fibroids – we command them out! Receive your healing, in the name of Jesus! Healing in your spirit, soul, body, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be blessed, in the name of Jesus Christ! I command your destiny to rise and shine, in the name of Jesus! Be released from all that is not of God! Be freed, in the name of Jesus Christ!
Turning to viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua declared: “Every crisis, bad habit, difficulty – begin to yield and submit to the power of the spoken Word! Receive your breakthrough, your key to success, your key to blessing! Begin to open every closed door to your victory, in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive your freedom – freedom from fear, freedom from guilt, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Evangelist Joseph asked the people to pray: “You demon, messenger of satan, contrary spirit, familiar spirit from my mother’s side, from my father’s side – anywhere you are operating in my life, I order you: Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!
Taking over, Evangelist Chisom charged the church to declare: “You spirit frustrating my life, my family – anywhere you are, your time is up! I command you, in the name of Jesus Christ: Out!”
Evangelist Ope encouraged congregants to decree: “You spirit of affliction operating in my life, in my family: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
At his turn, Evangelist James told the congregation to declare: “You cycle of limitation, disappointment, setback in my life, in my family – I break you, in the name of Jesus!
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua decreed: “You evil spirit, you demon that causes disease, poverty, sickness – Out! I command every weakness standing against you to surrender! Whatever you might have taken from the table of the enemy, by the power of the Holy Ghost – Out! Receive freedom! Freedom in your business, breakthrough in your finances, in your career! In Jesus Christ’s name we pray!”

A Glorious End To Five Years Of Reproach!
Linda had been suffering from difficulty in walking for five years – a condition that took her to many medical facilities in search of a solution. With no improvement in sight, her job was on the line as her supervisor was getting fed up with her. Having exhausted all options available to her, Linda decided to seek the face of God at the Arena of Liberty. “It was only a touch by Pastor Evelyn Joshua and all the discomfort disappeared,” she said as she demonstrated her new-found fitness in Christ Jesus.
Delivered And Healed In Jesus’ Name!
It was a family idol that had been threatening Jacinta’s life, denying her of peace and progress. The evil spirit ensured that nothing good happened in her life. She also had asthma, as well as an allergy to red palm oil which she had to avoid. On December 21, 2024, Jacinta took a step of faith as she sought God in The Arena Of Liberty. As soon as the power of God descended on Jacinta, every negative presence in her life vanished. Celebrating her freedom from pain and sorrow, she advised others to hold on to God always. No Longer Bound To Drug Addiction
For ten years, Daniel was deep into drug abuse. Of course, the addiction affected him in many ways, including his education and relationships. He would squander his money on drugs always, even as his health and physical appearance suffered. As Daniel cruised on the fast lane of sin and sorrow, however, Jesus intercepted him on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Following an anointed touch by Pastor Evelyn Joshua, Daniel received his instant freedom from addiction! “Don’t let the devil steal your destiny; abstain from drugs,” he advised others. His father thanked God for the deliverance and advised parents to train their children in the way of the Lord.
Daniel Drops ‘Loud’, Picks Up His Bible!
It was bad company that led to Daniel’s problem of drug addiction, which denied him of numerous life-changing opportunities. “I used to hear strange voices urging me to do the devil’s bidding,” he disclosed on March 23, 2025. He could neither stay in school nor learn a trade. In the end, however, a friend invited him to The SCOAN and Daniel received his deliverance after an anointed touch. Since that day, the urge for smoking ‘loud’ has left him! From Daniel’s transformed heart came these words of comfort to others: “Come to Jesus, read your Bible and watch Emmanuel TV.” Daniel’s mother advised: “With Jesus, there is no mountain we cannot climb. Look unto Him.”
A Life No Longer Ruled By Demons!
From the age of eight, Maureen had been indulging in ritual practices, picking up sacrificial money at odd places. In no time she began to see mighty snakes in her dreams – a development that affected her life quite badly. As an adult, she had no peace of mind and was always coming down with different ailments. Inevitably, these issues affected her marriage and business. At her wits’ end, however, she found God through Emmanuel TV.
Convinced about God’s presence at The SCOAN, she decided to get the Anointing Water. “I noticed some changes in my life after I started praying with the water,” she told the church on March 23, 2025. While riding a motorbike, Joshua had an accident that led to the spraining of his ankle. “I had thought it was a minor thing,” he recalled, “until I ended up needing crutches.” Unable to move around freely, Joshua saw his daily life badly affected. Knowing that it would take extraordinary power for him to overcome the problem, he came to The SCOAN in search of divine intervention. After a touch, he received instant healing – for the glory of God! “Put your hope in God and find a living church to attend,” he advised others. His father urged other parents to pray for their children and lead them to God. “With God, all things are possible,” he asserted.
The Day Darkness Gave Way To Light In Ifeanyi’s Life
Sunday, March 16, 2025 will forever remain a special day in Ifeanyi’s life. He had been possessed by a demonic spirit that made him extremely stubborn, irascible, unruly and arrogant. He was always engaging in heated quarrels and was disrespectful to his seniors both at home and in school. Even his parents could not tame his rage, as he would shout them down whenever they tried to correct him. A smoker, Ifeanyi sat atop a violent gang in school and never shied away from a fight.
After his encounter with Jesus Christ during his deliverance session in The SCOAN, Ifeanyi has become a changed creature. “I am no longer stubborn and disrespectful and now obey my parents,” he told the church.
