On Sunday, July 6, 2025, congregants in The Arena Of Liberty started the service by inviting God’s presence and power through heartfelt worship. Basking in divine mercy and grace, they called for the Holy Spirit to intervene in their affairs. They sang, “Be Thou Exalted, O Lord/Above All Heaven/Let Your Glory Be Above All The Earth!” From one song to the next, the choristers raised the tempo of worship as congregants fell under the power of the anointing. Clearly, God’s people could see that their expectations would not be disappointed. With the atmosphere charged with heavenly presences, they declared: “Power In Zoe!”
“We cannot possess what we are unwilling to pursue,” observed Pastor Evelyn Joshua once she got on the altar. She read from Ephesians 3:14-19, then gave her sermon title as “Inviting God’s Presence And Power”. Among other verses for the message were Jeremiah 1:12, Philippians 4:13 & 19, John 15:7-8 & 11, Romans 8:37, Isaiah 53:5, Philippians 4:19 and Mark 11:24. She spoke on the link between faith and the love of God, noting that God’s Word is the believer’s strategy against satan’s onslaught.
The woman of God explained that good Christians have a duty to make confessions that align with God’s promises rather than those that betray sense knowledge. She told the church, “Words spoken in harmony with God have power.” Accordingly, she stressed the importance of worshipping God as led by His Spirit, not by copying the actions of others. “You cannot expect answers to your prayer based on someone else’s actions,” she insisted.
Describing a word as a seed that produces its own kind, Pastor Evelyn Joshua charged congregants to act always as persons of faith and to avoid utterances that can lead to unanswered prayers. She said, “When you use faith-filled words in your prayers, you will invite God’s presence and power.” In her closing words, she assured the congregation, “The Lord is faithful; don’t relent or be tired.”
And God Knew Them By Name
“You are in the presence of your King, in the presence of your Saviour, the God you don’t see with your physical eyes but He sees you and knows you, even by name,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua said to those at the Prayer Line. The woman of God added, “You don’t come to try God; you come to believe. You need Him in everything.” She assured the people, “Your situation does not embarrass Him; He alone has solutions to it.”
Thereafter, God’s servant moved into the midst of the people, ministering prayers of healing and deliverance upon them. Among the cases brought before the Throne Of Grace were difficulty in walking, asthma, goitre, swollen belly, alcohol addiction, colon cancer, sickle cell anaemia, diabetes, neck stiffness, shoulder dislocation, and prostate enlargement. “Thank You, Jesus for healing me,” each person exclaimed.
As the woman of God and the evangelists continued to operate in the power of the anointing, pregnant women received peace that passes all understanding!
Other petitions that received attention included seizures, mental disorder, urinary incontinence, bleeding, leg ulcers, hernia, brain tumour, epilepsy, stooling of blood, and skin disease. As the Lord lives, ease came upon every petitioner!
From all walks of life came others who were thirsty for an anointed touch. With each touch, freedom followed. With each touch, restoration followed. With each touch, breakthrough became confirmed.
And during the One-On-One session, the name of Jesus Christ also brought redemption to every stubborn case!
They Rose Above Their Problems
“God is good all the time,” said Evangelist Chisom as he joined congregants for the Mass Prayer session. “Give God thanks for your life,” he urged them.
The evangelist charged the people to pray: “Thou Son of David, whatever is in my heart that will hinder my prayer – Thou Son of David, free my heart! Every principality, every power of darkness that is holding me down in bondage, in limitation – I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
At his turn, Evangelist Joseph told the people to declare: “All familiar spirits, spirit of wickedness, spirit of bondage, demons – anywhere you are operating in my body, in my life – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Evangelist James told the people to pray: “Whatever seed planted by the enemy in my life, causing me sickness, causing me disease, causing me affliction – be uprooted, in the name of Jesus! You sickness tormenting my body – Out, in the name of Jesus!”
Taking over, Evangelist Ope asked the congregation to pray: “You spirit of limitation operating in my life, family, career – anywhere you are: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for the people: “Any power holding you down to where you do not belong – be loosed, in the name of Jesus! Any power that is stopping you from reaching your divine destiny –be loosed, in the name of Jesus! Any contrary spirit in and out of this house that will deprive you from receiving God’s blessings – be exposed, in the name of Jesus!”
The woman of God continued: “Any chain that satan is using to connect you to himself – be loosed today, in the name of Jesus! Any relationship that is not ordained by God – relationships based on mind control, lust, intimidation – be freed, in the name of Jesus! Breakthrough in your life, way, finances, family career, in the name of Jesus! Let every door be opened, in the name of Jesus – door of victory, success, blessing!”
For viewers all over the world, Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed: “Every spirit reminding you of your past, your guilt, weaknesses – we command it to go out, in the name of Jesus Christ! Let there be freedom in your emotions, in the name of Jesus!
Father, as Your children have raised their hands above their bodies, let them rise above their challenges, difficulties, in the name of Jesus! Every mountain in their lives – we cast it into the sea, in the name of Jesus! Every tongue that rises in judgement against Your children shall not stand because they are filled by the Blood of Jesus!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “Rain on us Your power of deliverance! Every disease in your blood, bones, tendons – I command it out! I command you disease, you affliction in my blood: Out! All hearts that are in bondage – be freed, in the name of Jesus! Power! Glory!”
Testimonies
And Favour Breathes Freely Again!
For the past four years, seven-year-old Favour had been suffering from difficulty in breathing – a condition that had prevented him from leading a normal life. To be able to breathe properly, he had to depend on drugs, inhalers and a breathing machine. “I had to devote so much time to caring for him,” said his mother Patricia on July 6, 2025. In the course of caring for her child, Patricia herself ended up developing body pains and chronic headaches. Having visited numerous hospitals in Italy, their base, Patricia had brought her son to The SCOAN for prayer on June 29, 2025. Following prayer by Pastor Evelyn Joshua, Favour started to breathe freely again, without needing any machine. He has since returned to normal life. “Trust in God,” his mother urged others.
56-year-old Woman Gets Miraculous Healing!
Fifty-six-year-old Romoke had injured her left shoulder in a motorcycle accident. For many months, the businesswoman couldn’t use the arm without feeling severe pain. On June 29, 2025, she brought her case before Jesus Christ. “After the prayer, I started to use the hand freely again,” she told the church on July 6, 2025. Throwing a punch for the glory of God, Romoke demonstrated her healing while urging others to seek God’s help.
Delivered From The Giant Man, Set Free To Manifest God’s Glory!
For many minutes on June 29, 2025, the family idol in Peace had confessed its atrocities in her life, scoffing, “She thinks she can elevate her family!” As the evangelist commanded hails of heavenly fire on the demon, it screamed in anguish as it made desperate pleas to be spared. In the end, the demon succumbed as Peace landed on the floor. “Rise up – you are free,” said the evangelist to the prone figure. On getting up, Peace declared: “Thank you, Jesus!”
A week later, Peace returned for her testimony. She told of how the spirit of anger had dominated her actions. “I found it hard to forgive people,” she confessed, noting that the problem had made it impossible for her to sustain her business and relationships. The family idol had also been troubling other members of Peace’s household, causing them various illnesses. “My father died of poisoning,” she told the church.
Desperate for a solution, Peace had agreed to pay for a ritual sacrifice involving esoteric incantations and the blood of animals. “I had to look for money by all means to pay for the sacrifice,” she said. Despite the sacrifice, however, Peace’s situation never got better; in fact, it worsened. “The giant man in my life started appearing more frequently and snakes started to show up in my dreams,” Peace said. Her relationship failed and her business started doing even worse. Apparently, the woman who performed the ritual had the intention of luring Peace into her own dark society.
Along the line, Peace ran into an old friend, who urged her to come to The SCOAN for her deliverance. Having seen God’s power in her friend’s life, Peace agreed to come for the prayer of deliverance. Following her deliverance, Peace returned home a free woman. “For the first time I had no dreams where any giant man showed up,” she said. Since then, she has been having only victorious dreams. She advised others to wait for God’s intervention.
Yoke Of Bed-Wetting Broken, Spirit Husband Expelled!
Accompanied by her mother, 24-year-old Patricia came to The SCOAN for prayer over the issues of life. The Belgium-based woman had been bed-wetting since she was eight years old. “When I was six years old, I had a dream in which I saw myself in the water,” she said on July 6, 2025. In her teenage years, Patricia continued to wet her bed, even as she started to have more strange dreams in which she saw snakes.
On discovering Emmanuel TV, Patricia started to follow the channel and pray along with God’s servants. “We decided we had to come to the church,” she said. Since her deliverance, Patricia has been freed from the scourge of bed-wetting and evil attacks in the dream. “Don’t give up on God; seek Him in a living church,” she counselled others.
Patricia’s mother confirmed the testimony, telling of how a pillow had unexplainably vanished one morning as she and her daughter got off the bed. “The following day I had a dream in which an ant tried to attack my daughter,” she said. The very next day, Patricia’s mother had yet another nightmare concerning her daughter. Interestingly, the dreams tended to occur at the same time –around 6 am. In another dream, however, following divine intervention, Patricia’s mother discovered the reason for the pillow’s disappearance. “An evil spirit had wanted to take my daughter’s life but had got the pillow instead,” she said.
Regarding her efforts to come to The SCOAN, Patricia’s mother said that she had faced several obstacles along the way. “Anytime I tried to come, I would run out of money,” she explained. Eventually, she discovered Emmanuel TV and began to pray along. On one occasion, Patricia’s daughter had manifested in the home during a deliverance session on Emmanuel TV. To the glory of God, Patricia’s deliverance had happened in reality during the service of June 29, 2025.
The same power of deliverance fell on Patricia’s mother, taking away all the troubles in her body. “It has been one week now and we remain fine,” confirmed Patricia’s mother. She also told the church how, years ago, she had overcome the spirit of miscarriage and had a boy named Jordan after praying along with Emmanuel TV. “He is a prayerful child and we call him Prophet TB Joshua,” she said, urging others to rely on God.
Leg Ulcer Vanishes At Sight Of Anointing!
On March 24, 2024, 40-year-old Ife received prayer over a gaping ulcer that had resulted from a motoring accident. Because of her tender skin, it had been difficult for the doctors to stitch the injury on Ife’s left leg, a few inches above the ankle. Despite taking multiple medications, Ife didn’t get much better. After the prayer, however, she had felt instant relief. “I went home and slept soundly for the first time,” she told the church. In the course of a few weeks she saw the sore dry up – for the glory of the Lord. “Just put your trust in God,” she urged others.
Uncommon Breakthrough For Juliana!
In March 2021, Juliana developed insomnia. “I had been training myself not to sleep early because of dreams about a spirit husband,” she told the church on July 6, 2025. In other dreams she used to see herself trying to cross a highway, in addition to seeing herself in a dark room and swallowing sharp objects. In real life, those dreams brought problems into Juliana’s life. However, after coming in possession of the Anointing Water, Juliana started praying with it.
From then on, her job interview outcomes changed. First, Juliana got a job breakthrough. Second, she got a postgraduate education scholarship to China. Although she failed three opportunities to defend her Master degree project, Juliana eventually overcame the demon responsible for blocking her way. At The SCOAN event in Kenya with Pastor Evelyn Joshua in October 2023, Juliana had received the anointing to overcome. The Tanzanian advised others to accept the reality of God’s power.
Alex Steps Into Breathing Freedom!
In late December 2021, then four-year-old Alex was diagnosed with asthma. “The doctors gave us drugs for managing his condition,” said his mother on July 6, 2025. The situation continued until sometime in 2024, when it worsened, leading to emergency hospitalisation of the little boy. “He was in the intensive care unit for a good three days,” recalled his mother. Doctors later managed to bring Alex’s breathing under control. “It was a source of worry to us as a family,” she admitted, “even though we continued trusting in God.” It was that faith that led the family to bring Alex to The SCOAN for prayer on July 29, 2025. Since he received a touch of healing in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Alex has stepped into breathing freedom! His mother advised others to trust in God’s power.
