GOD SPEAKS EVEN IN SILENCE

“God speaks even in silence,” declared Evangelist Jemila as she shared God’s Word with the people on Sunday, June 15, 2025. Teeming with worshippers, The Arena Of Liberty echoed with sounds of gratitude coming from imperfect people who were prepared for an encounter with the Throne Of Grace. “Bless The Lord, O My Soul/Worship His Holy Name!” they sang. As David charges in Psalm 95:6, the people bowed and knelt in worship of their incomparable Maker. They pled: “Use Me Lord/As a Vessel Unto Honour/Use Me Lord.” And mightily did the Lord use His servants to bring healing, deliverance and breakthrough to them all!

God Sometimes ‘go quiet’ on us?

Remember those times when it feels like God has shut His ears to our pleas? Those times when we pray endlessly but are met with deafening silence? Those times when we feel like ‘calling out’ God for letting the enemy pummel us endlessly? Well, reading from Jeremiah 24:7, Evangelist Jemila assures us that God never abandons His people. What He is actually doing at such times, Evangelist Jemila says, is speaking to us in silence.

Only those who have this right knowledge of God, the preacher said, find true peace. As such, no believer should fall into the error of cursing God or giving up on their faith, for that time of silence is the season that prepares them for their glorious future (Philippians 3:14). She spoke about how great Biblical characters used such knowledge to fulfil destiny. “Their secret was in Psalm 46:10,” she said, advising congregants not to misinterpret God’s silence as rejection.

Quoting Prophet TB Joshua, Evangelist Jemila said, “Sometimes God moves silently in your life so that people around you do not know the plan He has for you.” On what to do during the silent season, she suggested four things. One, a believer must do good to change the bad around them (Genesis 41). Two, a person of faith must pray the more (Daniel 6:10). Three, a Christian must speak God’s Word over everything else (1 Samuel 17:32-52). Finally, a child of God must look beyond self to see Jesus (Mark 5:25-34).

And His Power Reigned Over Them

With a cheerful face and a grateful heart, Pastor Evelyn Joshua welcomed the people to God’s presence. She asked them to give Jesus Christ an applause for thus far He has been with The TB Joshua Ministries. She thanked everyone for their support during the week of Prophet TB Joshua’s 62^nd birthday.

Then she cued the choir for a song to which she danced for the glory of the Lord.

The woman of God prayed: “Father Lord, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask You to purify us body, soul and spirit. Almighty God, cleanse us from our sins and unrighteousness. Father, draw us closer to You. Make us to know You and love You the more. Everlasting King of Glory, prepare our heart to serve You, to walk in Your ways.

Prepare our hearts to do things according to Your will. Almighty God, use our circumstances to make us more like You. Father, we ask You this morning to reign Your power on us – power of healing, blessings, deliverance, in the name of Jesus Christ. Almighty God, fill our hearts, fill our mouths with Your praise and testimonies. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray.”

And the God of all flesh again showed that He is still in the business of healing, delivering and blessing. Among those who received a touch of healing were those facing difficulty in walking, asthma, sickle cell anaemia, umbilical hernia, swollen body, goitre, fracture of the wrist, and severe waist pain.

Lamentations 3:22 says, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.” And so it was with the pregnant women who placed their implicit trust in the protective power of Jesus Christ.

With unshakeable faith in their hearts, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists continued to declare healing and deliverance upon those experiencing lung inflammation, mental disorder, difficulty in urinating, leg ulcer, epilepsy, chronic kidney disease, and skin disease, etc.

Back into the auditorium, the woman of God and The SCOAN evangelists ministered with boldness, backed by Heaven’s authority, as they laid anointed hands on the people.

Says 1 John 3:8, “For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” That was the reality of those set free during the One-On-One Session – glory be to God!

And Every Evil Veil Was Ripped To Pieces!

“Get ready to be healed! Get ready to be delivered! Get ready to be saved in the name of Jesus!” Thus prepped at the start of the Mass Prayer session, the people declared: “I position myself for deliverance. I position myself for victory.”

“Peace that passes all understanding – that is the peace of God,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua assured the church, reading from John 14:27.

The woman of God prayed: “Every evil that satan must have clothed you with – be removed, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every garment of shame, disgrace, ne’er-do-well that satan must have clothed you with – be removed, in the name of Jesus! Every disgusting veil that satan must have clothed you with – be torn, in the name of Jesus! Be delivered from that weakness, that limitation, that shame, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be healed, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be healed from that sickness, that affliction – whatever name it is being called!”

Turning to the viewers, Pastor Evelyn Joshua said: “Rebuke every spirit of delay in your life, every spirit of redundancy, every spirit of sluggishness.” She prayed: “We command every limitation in your life to be gone, in the name of Jesus! By the Blood of Jesus, be saved! By the power of the Holy Ghost, be delivered! By the resurrection power, everything that is dead in your life, business, career, system – begin to receive life, in the name of Jesus!”

“Every spirit operating in your life – unclean spirits, ancestral spirits, family idols – causing you shame, causing you frustration – Out, in the name of Jesus!” prayed Evangelist Chisom.

Evangelist James asked the people to decree: “You spirit of destruction, enough is enough; I command you: Out!”

Taking over, Evangelist Joseph declared: “All spirits of affliction attacking your health, poisoning your system – Out, in the name of Jesus!” He also told the people to pray: “You sickness in my body, in my bones – I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist Ope charged the church to pray: “Every spirit blocking my breakthrough, my career, my business – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua decreed: “You infirmity, you evil spirit – I order you out, in the name of Jesus! I command you out, in the name of Jesus!”

Rescued From The Jaws Of Death!

On November 6, 2022, Favour sat for prayer in The SCOAN over a stage three lymphoma that had been ravaging her system, almost about to take her life. It had started with a swelling in the neck area before degenerating to something quite complicated. “Several of my organs were affected, including my liver, kidneys and bone marrow,” she disclosed on June 15, 2025. Doctors had told her that she had only a fifty percent chance of getting cured through chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant. To those looking with human eyes, it was only a matter of time. But her father wasn’t one of such people.

“My body was always in pain and I attempted suicide, having written a note of gratitude to my parents,” she said. Luckily, however, a security guard had stopped her from throwing herself in front of a moving vehicle. “Let’s go to The SCOAN,” her father had advised. “The day we came to the church, I received prayer and also went home with the Anointing Water, which I continued to minister prayerfully,” she testified. “Go home; God has healed you,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua assured the young woman.  

In January 2024, Favour returned to hospital for a comprehensive health check. “We can no longer see cancer in your system,” the doctors told her. “And that was how I didn’t have to get any bone marrow transplant or blood replacement,” a grateful Favour told the church. “God is still in the business of healing,” she said to the people. Her parents expressed gratitude to God for the miracle, even as they advised others to trust in God. 

Catapulted To Professional Heights!

Maureen, a Nigerian resident in the United Kingdom, testified about her professional breakthrough. In 2022 she had been in The SCOAN for prayer. “I returned to the United Kingdom to the bad news of not securing a job I had worked so hard to get,” she told the church on June 15, 2022. A couple of interviews later, Maureen still hadn’t secured a job. “I began to gaslight God,” she admitted. “I felt God wasn’t listening to me,” she went on.

All the same, Maureen continued to keep faith in God. “I started listening to powerful messages by Prophet TB Joshua and got assurances from them,” she said. Subsequently, she went for another interview. “Before leaving home, I had ministered the Anointing Water,” she said. “You smell good,” one of the interviewers told Maureen, who had used nothing else but the Anointing Water that morning. At the rather chatty interview, Maureen answered all the questions calmly.

Shortly after, she received news that she had topped the list of 15 candidates assessed for the job. “I screamed in delight, threw off my wig and worshipped God for the next five minutes, even as the caller stayed on the line,” she recalled happily. Today, Maureen is a registered general nurse who is licensed to practice in four countries. In the UK alone, she holds positions at five university-affiliated medical institutions. She also told of how she had been relying on God’s guidance for helping her patients. “Keep hoping for the best with God,” she advised others.

From Tears Of Pain To The Laughter Of Ease!

Before receiving prayer on June 1, 2025, Christian was in tears from the pain of sciatica. In between sobs, he managed to explain that the pain had started one Monday morning. “It became impossible for me to walk or drive,” he told the church exactly two week later, during his testimony. Grounded at home, Christian had been unable to execute his many contracts. “I was even referred to a spiritualist,” he opened up. After being prayed for, Christian exclaimed in excitement as he confirmed that the hand of the Lord had indeed fallen upon him. “It was the happiest day of my life,” he declared while demonstrating his new-found ease. “Your challenges are not meant to destroy you,” he reminded others. His wife confirmed the healing, saying that she was now truly happy.

The Reproach That Ended In Seven Days!  

When Rachael stood before the church on June 15, 2025, watching the clip of the day she received prayer in The Arena Of Liberty, a few tears escaped from her eyes. That day of prayer was March 13, 2022 and the then 26-year-old’s placard had read ‘Skin Disease’. In reality, the trouble was something hidden from view. “There was a growth in my private part and it was refusing to go despite continuous medical treatment,” Rachael told the church.

Among the treatment options that she explored was a urine and salt therapy. “I had to drink my store of seven days of urine mixed with salt,” she said. However, the situation only got worse. “I started to itch very badly,” she said. After receiving prayer, however, Rachael’s story changed. “Within seven days, my skin problem vanished,” she stated. “God works in a way that we cannot fathom; let’s seek Him,” she encouraged others.

Preye Breaks Free From Household Idols

Preye described herself as one of the products of her parents’ request for children from household idols. “The idols gave my mother breast pain after her first child, until she returned to thank them,” she began on June 15, 2025. As the children of the family grew older, they realised that the idols had gained a foothold over their lives. “We were living from hand to mouth,” Preye explained, “and our marriages were failing.” Preye narrated her problems to a male friend, Blessing, who advised her to come to The SCOAN for the prayer of deliverance.

After a touch from one of the evangelists, Preye had fallen under the power of the anointing. “I later had a dream in which I found myself in the village and saw an evil pot break into three parts,” she said. Since then, she has ceased having bad dreams and broken free from the spirit of anger. “Only God can deliver us from evil powers; let’s run to Him,” she advised others. Blessing, who described Preye as his fiancée, confirmed the change in her life and expressed his hope for a great future together.  

An End To Nine Years Of Osteoarthritis

For the last nine years, Oscar had been suffering from osteoarthritis. “It made it impossible for me to do my duties,” he said on June 15, 2025. Having exhausted his human options, Oscar had taken his case to God. “It was my boss who advised me to come to The Synagogue, saying that he himself had received his healing there,” Oscar went on.  On June 8, immediately after receiving prayer as Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered, Oscar got up and started to walk freely again. “Seek God for your problems,” he advised others.

Veronica had been eating in her dreams and would always experience stomach pain on waking up. During the Mass Prayer session, she vomited poisonous substances as the power of God fell upon her. Now she is free from pain and worry!
