Get Prepared—these powerful words set the tone as Evangelist Shina took the pulpit on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Reading from Jeremiah 29:11, he stirred hearts and minds with a passionate call to readiness, urging the congregation to align themselves with God’s divine purpose.
In a world of uncertainty, he reminded everyone that the Lord’s plans are filled with hope, future, and intentionality—if only we are prepared to walk in them.
Speaking of preparation, congregants had started the service with songs of worship in many tongues, grateful for the gift of life. Led by The SCOAN Choristers, the people poured out their hearts in sweet psalms that attracted the Host of Heaven. While the singing carried on, the atmosphere warmed up with the presence of the Holy Ghost, causing many to display feelings affected by divine fire.
Their words rang out loudly: “Let Your Will Be Done In My Life, Jesus/Do Not Forsake Me!”
Evangelist Shina reminded the church about the power of the Bible as a unique life-transforming book of grace and truth that can guide humans to the path of morality and peace. He noted the importance of taking God’s Word seriously and trusting in its promises.
Accordingly, he read from one of the passages where God assures the believer of His “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
In the light of God’s spectacular plans for us, Evangelist Shina explained, we have a duty to trust that He will take us to His desired destination for us no matter the upheavals that we may face on the journey. “If Jesus has gone to prepare a place for you, He will prepare you for it and in due time put you in possession of it,” he said.
Thus, we must get prepared for God’s purpose for our lives by learning solid lessons in faith and perseverance during periods of seeming adversity. Such tough times, he noted, prepared Joseph for his time of dominance in Egypt, even as it prepared Peter for his apostolic assignment and David for the position of king.
Referencing Prophet TB Joshua, Evangelist Shina said that God chooses what we go through but we choose how we go through them. He therefore encouraged the people to learn from biblical characters who overcame grave adversity to achieve outstanding success.
He stated that four key qualities are important in this regard: mind management, human management, resource management, and self-control. He then concluded, “As a Christian, your preparation time is your melting and moulding time, so that you will be ready for the responsibilities ahead.”
The Lord Uplifted Them All!
“Let’s give Jesus Christ a beautiful clap offering,” said Pastor Evelyn Joshua on joining the church for the Prayer Line ministration. “God alone is worthy of your praise,” she added.
The woman of God prayed: “Heavenly Father, we thank You; we thank You for who You are. Our loving and faithful God, we ask for Your purifying power, Your sanctifying power.
O Lord God Almighty, we are sinners full of unrighteousness, selfishness; even as dirty as we are, You can cleanse us. So, Lord God Almighty, we are here with our limitations that You can strengthen us. We have come with our shortcomings that You can uplift us.
Lord God, we are here with our questions, knowing that You have the answer. Everlasting King Of Glory, sin’s power over our lives – be broken, in the name of Jesus Christ.
O Lord God Almighty, we have come to thank You in anticipation of what You alone can do in our lives today – the healing, deliverance, blessings and protections that await us today, in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You, Father!”
A Word For The People
Pastor Evelyn Joshua thanked God for the day’s testimonies and urged congregants to embrace the truth, which brings freedom. Concerning God’s power in The Synagogue, the woman of God said to the people: “Talk to someone about God; that Living God we served in The Synagogue from the beginning, we are still serving now and we will serve forever.”
She also noted that “an encounter with God will totally change a person’s life.” She concluded, “When you behold Him, you will be changed from glory to glory.”
With their gaze fastened on Jesus Christ, the people assembled for prayer over issues such as difficulty in swallowing, difficulty in walking, hypothyroidism, drug addiction, swollen belly, breast lumps, and swollen legs, among others.
Over their cases, the Master Surgeon went to work and their stories changed for the better!
Among those who came for prayer were a few pregnant women. Over their cases was the work of healing and deliverance perfected for the glory of the Lord.
Standing on the believer’s authority, Pastor Evelyn Joshua and The SCOAN Evangelists ministered prayers over cases of smoking and drinking addiction, mental disorder, swollen legs, leg ulcer, hepatitis, uncontrollable urination, and asthma, etc. Because Jesus had healed them, their healing was complete indeed!
In the Laying Of Hands session, the power of the Living God continued to manifest as burdens were lifted, chains were broken and the captives were set free in the name of Jesus Christ.
True to God’s Word in Luke 4:36, every unclean spirit was ejected from habitations not meant for them during the One-On-One session.
And The Lord Paralysed Every Evil Power For Their Sake!
“May God Almighty continue to rain His power on you, in the name of Jesus,” Pastor Evelyn Joshua prophesied upon the people at the start of the Mass Prayer session. “Disconnect yourself from every cage of limitation, disappointment, failure, barrenness,” she added.
The woman of God prayed: “Every door of opportunity, favour, greatness, joy that has been closed before you – be opened, in the name of Jesus! Begin to possess your possessions, in the name of Jesus! Every power working against your advancement, goodness, joy – be paralysed, in the name of Jesus!”
Firing another salvo, Pastor Evelyn Joshua declared: “All friends of darkness within and outside you – be exposed, in the name of Jesus! Every spirit that steals, kills and destroys – be exposed, in the name of Jesus!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua went on: “May your foundation receive deliverance, healing, in the name of Jesus! Be healed from that affliction, that disease, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be delivered, in the name of Jesus Christ!
Everything that belittles you – be delivered, in the name of Jesus Christ! Father, sanctify their hands, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be healed, in the name of Jesus! Be delivered, in the name of Jesus!”
The woman of God turned to the viewers: “Resist the accuser and he will flee from you! Frustrate the hand of satan in the name of Jesus Christ!” She prayed: “Every demonic covenant of character – be broken, in the name of Jesus!
The foundation of your problem – begin to crumble, in the name of Jesus! Every giant standing before you – crumble, in the name of Jesus! All that is dead in your life, business, marriage, family – begin to rise and shine, in the name of Jesus Christ! Receive your freedom, breakthrough, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist James prayed: “Every contrary spirit, every family idol tormenting your life – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!” He told the people to decree: “You ancestral spirit, family idol tormenting my life – I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus! You unclean spirit frustrating my efforts – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”
For his own prayer call, Evangelist Joseph commanded: “All familiar spirits, messengers of satan, all demons of all ranks anywhere they are, hindering your progress – Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Evangelist Chisom charged God’s people to pray: “You spirit – anywhere you are, causing me sickness, affliction, disease – Out, by the Blood of Jesus!”
On his part, Evangelist Ope asked the people to pray: “All combined forces standing against my business, career – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua declared: “That spirit that hinders you – Out, in the name of Jesus! You evil spirit, every hidden place you are – I command you out! You evil spirit, vacate! Every organ that is not functioning in your system – begin to function!”

Get Prepared for God’s Healing: “I Am No Longer Walking Like An Old Woman!”
Modupe, a 59-year-old woman, had been suffering from difficulty in walking for the last three years. “It had started one morning as I woke up feeling a sharp pain in my legs,” she said on July 20, 2025.
As the pain intensified, she took numerous medications. “But the drugs weren’t making any difference; in fact, things were getting worse,” she continued. Her doctors said it was arthritis. “At some point, my husband and children said I was walking like an old woman,” Modupe added.
On July 6, however, Modupe sat at The SCOAN Prayer Line and received prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Pain free since that day, she has been walking freely – no longer like an old woman. “Run to God for help,” she advised others.
Get Prepared for God’s Deliverance: An End To 15 Years Of Alcohol Addiction
On July 13, 2025, Josephine presented herself for prayer over the problem of alcohol addiction. “I want to thank God for delivering me,” she began on July 20, during her testimony. She had been addicted even before marriage. “I had thought marriage would rid me of the addiction, but it didn’t,” she opened up.
Josephine said she went to different places in search of help. “At one time I was forced to eat a concoction with slimy snail fluid in it, all in the effort to get over the problem,” Josephine said. For the last 15 years, she had been a slave to alcohol, not knowing how to escape the urge for it.
After discovering Emmanuel TV, however, Josephine started to build her faith. As part of the health hazards of the habit, Josephine’s menses had ceased. But on receiving prayer, she had returned home and found that her urge for drink had vanished. Looking back now, Josephine is amazed that she had ever loved drinking that much.
To the glory of God, her ceased period has been restored. Josephine advised others to stick with God. Her husband confirmed the change, describing her as a new bride. He also narrated how he had received dream intimations about Josephine’s deliverance. “Remain with God,” he advised.
Get Prepared for God’s Healing: Declared Free From All Health Troubles!
“I had to take medications and injections every day because of severe stomach pain,” began Queen when she started her testimony on July 20, 2025. She also used to vomit constantly.
Doctors diagnosed her with chronic stomach ulcer, low blood sugar and high blood pressure. “Because of my health issues, I feared that I could lose my job,” she told the church. “When I came for prayer on July 6, I was in excruciating pain,” she explained, “and Pastor Evelyn Joshua quickly ministered prayer to me.”
On feeling the impact of the anointing on her body, Queen screamed in delight, “Thank You, Jesus!” A few days later, she returned to the hospital and had tests run on her. “It turned out that all my health issues were gone,” she declared. She advised others to keep their faith in God.
Get Prepared for God’s Mercy: Delivered From Witchcraft Powers!
For many minutes, the demon in Toyin manifested during the service of July 13, 2025. A week later, Toyin told the story of her initiation to the demonic world. She narrated how a spiritualist had declared her to be possessed by witchcraft powers.
“The man said I needed to undergo a ritual involving my urine and hair,” she told the church on July 20, 2025. And that was when Toyin’s problems began. She started to hear strange voices and see strange people in the dream.
In short, she started to mix with strange forces in another life. The situation worsened when Toyin took food from a hostel mate at school.
“In the dream, I started to see the person who gave me that food and to do so many strange things,” she explained. She started to urinate blood and experience excruciating stomach pain. “I also began to steal my parents’ things,” she said. “But at some point, a photo frame of Prophet TB Joshua started to block my vision anytime I wanted to take what didn’t belong to me,” she said.
Eventually, the young woman drank the Living Water that her mother had given her, even though she had accepted it only reluctantly.
“That night, I saw an image of Prophet TB Joshua in my dream,” she continued. “My father then asked me to come to The SCOAN alongside my mother”. Since her day of deliverance, Toyin has been free from dream attacks and all health issues.
She also told of having a dream encounter with Pastor Evelyn Joshua, wherein she was told that her deliverance had been confirmed. “Distance is not a barrier to God’s power,” she reminded others.
To fellow youths, Toyin said, “Let God choose your friends for you.” Speaking about the testimony, Toyin’s mother told of how she had initially waved off the dreams. “Later, I gave her the Living Water and came to church with her,” she said. “We should keep praying for our children,” she urged other parents.
Get Prepared for God’s Deliverance: Rabi Breaks Free From Demonic Hold!
“The rituals were done on her wedding day,” confessed the foul spirit in Rabi during the deliverance session of the service of July 13, 2025. As the evangelist commanded fire upon it, the demon caused Rabi’s body to react in pain until it finally succumbed. “Stand up; you are free, in Jesus’ name,” the evangelist said to the real Rabi.
A week later, she returned to the church for her testimony. “It had all started in my childhood,” she said.
When Rabi got married, the demon intensified its attacks against her, causing her to always quarrel with her husband and afflicting her with illness, especially her reproductive health.
Having run helter-skelter for futile solutions, Rabi agreed to her husband’s suggestion to come to The SCOAN for the prayer of deliverance.
Today, she has stopped having strange dreams. “Don’t run away from God,” she advised congregants. Her husband also advised others to seek God’s help.
Get Prepared for God’s Mercy: They Doubted Their Doubt – And the Lord Showed Them Compassion!
On July 13, 2025, Florence received her deliverance from the family idol that had been running her life over the decades. “In my growing-up years in the village, I witnessed so many premature deaths in the family,” she told the church on July 20.
Florence had got married after moving to the city. “But the family idol didn’t let go of me and my family,” she said, explaining how she and her husband had faced excruciating poverty. “All along, a neighbour kept urging me to come to The SCOAN,” said Florence, “but the spirit of doubt kept holding me back.”
In the end, it was Florence’s husband who first came to the church. “I encouraged my wife to come to the church as well,” he said, “knowing that she was afflicted with the spirit of anger.” Since after Tosin received his deliverance, his life has changed for good. “I had been meaning to engage in some rituals in order to improve my situation,” he said. Shortly after the deliverance, Tosin had received a business call about which he had long lost hope.
Moreover, since his wife’s deliverance, there has been peace in the family. In terms of finances, Tosin’s family has also witnessed freedom and breakthrough. The couple advised others to stick with God.
