What makes the year new is the promise that God is always ahead of us—preparing blessings beyond what our eyes can see, our ears can hear, or our minds can imagine. As we walk in love and trust toward Him, we step into a future shaped not by our limits, but by His faithful plans.

Bible Verse:
1 Corinthians 2:9 — “However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him.”
As God’s people, we must get involved, get engrossed in His project. God wants us to be a part of His project, a part of His plan. This is why He constantly draws us close to Himself.
God doesn’t want to leave us in the dark about what He has planned for us. He wants to expose it to us; He wants to make it known but not to this version of us. This is why God continues to unfold events that mould us into His person.
Christians, what makes the year new is not the date change or the new resolutions you have written out. What makes the year new is the new level of intimacy we build with Jesus.
God wants to reveal deep secrets to His sons and daughters. However, to become God’s person, you must follow His process. Sons and daughters have shown themselves approved to be trusted with God’s projects.
To know God’s project, we must know God’s Person. We must draw close to Him. God isn’t looking for those who are only interested in what He can do but in Who He is. God is looking for those who will stay with Him regardless of the challenges and trials that come.
God isn’t looking for those who have options, those who resort to alternatives when He doesn’t answer on their schedule. He relies on those who have no choice but Him.
If you want to get involved in God’s project, you must become His person. To become God’s person, we must follow His process.
People of God, what makes a year truly new is the deepening of our love for God.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for the grace to see another wonderful year. I ask, O Lord, that you will give me the grace to become your person this year, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
