There is no place like home.

There is no place like home. Home is where you hear your Heavenly Father’s voice clearly and where you rest and relax in His precious arms. Home is not in the natural. Home is where the heart is.

Matthew 6:21 says, “For where your treasure is there, your heart will also be.” Home to a Christian is where God dwells, and God dwells in Heaven. As Christians, Heaven is our home and those who are born from above long to be there.

Homelessness is man’s condition without God. The moment God Almighty created us, He breathed His life and Spirit into us and set eternity in our hearts as a constant reminder that this world is not our home and that there is more to life than meets the ordinary eye.

We need a free spirit, a free heart to connect with Heaven. Your heart is the contact point for Heaven, but this will depend on what you give your attention to and what you meditate on all the time. Matthew 5:8 says, “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.” This means the real thing about us is not our flesh and its desires but our spirit man.

We are made spiritual by the Word living in us and us living in the Word. We need to be more of God to get it right and to make it. We need more of God’s faithfulness, goodness, obedience, and self-control. God’s power will only move through His Word and Spirit because God’s Word refreshes our mind and God’s Spirit renews our strength.

When your heart is free, it is sensitive, alive, and attracts the Spirit of God; it becomes a powerful house and instrument to loose and bind. People of God, as you continue your journey, guard your heart and be careful of what you think because of Heaven.

I leave you in faith and hope to meet you in faith.

Prayer: O Holy Spirit, I pray You take more of me and give me more of Your faithfulness, goodness, obedience, and self-control, in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen.
