THE DWELLING WORD

Proof Text: John 15:7 – “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

The Word of God is not just meant to be read—it is meant to dwell in us. It is our direct connection to God, His voice speaking into our lives. When the Word lives in us, it shapes our thoughts, renews our minds, and guides our actions. A heart filled with God’s Word does not react based on emotion but responds according to divine instruction.

To dwell in the Word is to make it our home. Many people read the Bible, but few allow the Bible to read them. When God’s Word finds a place in your heart, it produces faith—and faith unlocks the power of God in your life. As Prophet TB Joshua says, “Meditation brings revelation. When you meditate on the Word, the Holy Spirit brings it to life within you.”

The Word of God is life. It transforms, heals, and delivers. It is the foundation for a victorious Christian life. When the Word dwells in us richly, we carry divine authority. We no longer struggle to overcome challenges—the Word within us fights for us.

The dwelling Word is also the key to effective prayer. Jesus said that if His Word abides in us, whatever we ask will be done for us. This means that when we pray according to the Word, heaven responds. Prayer isn’t about how many words we say but about speaking God’s Word back to Him. As Prophet TB Joshua explains, “When you pray with the Word, God sees Himself in His Word—and He acts upon it.”

A life that dwells in the Word is a life that dwells in God. It is a life marked by peace, power, and purpose. When the Word takes root in your heart, it bears fruit—faith that moves mountains, wisdom that orders your steps, and love that reflects Christ.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, let Your Word dwell in me richly. Let it shape my thoughts, direct my actions, and strengthen my faith. Make me a living expression of Your Word. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
