James 1:12 says, “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”
The tools of engagement during times of trials and temptations are patience, perseverance, endurance, and forbearance. How will your genuineness for God be confirmed if we can’t see your tools? Perseverance is an essential instrument for our faith. Patience, perseverance, endurance, and forbearance are the tools of a genuine Christian. Many people today are in a hurry to solve their problems and won’t know when the help they are receiving is from God or the devil. When we face tests of faith, we sometimes look for alternatives and shortcuts because we are too impatient to wait for God’s time. As Christians, men and women of faith, delay is not denial. Don’t misinterpret God’s silence as rejection. Even when He seems to be quiet, God is still saying something.
At God’s appointed time, you will progress without any personal effort, stress, tension, or pressure. You will just move because God has already prepared the way. He is there with you in your trials and tribulations. He may not respond immediately because He is testing your patience. God wants to make sure that by the time you get to your place of destiny, you will not crack, explode, and lose everything because you don’t have enough preparation. Don’t give up! Just wait on God; we cannot push Him around or instruct Him the way He should go. We must submit to His will, and in God’s time, everything is beautiful. In the end, you will receive the crown of life He has promised you.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to submit to Your will. Give me the grace to patiently wait for Your time, in Jesus’ name! Amen!
