Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
Many people often wonder about their purpose and the contributions they are meant to make in the lives of others. It is important to recognize that each person is created for a reason. You are not an accident or a mistake; rather, you are a blessing. Every individual created by God Almighty is a blessing in their own unique way. Although we may not all be blessed in the same way or to the same extent, God has ensured that everyone has their own measure of blessing. For some, these blessings may be financial; for others, they may be spiritual. Whatever area you have been blessed in, that is the channel through which the Lord desires to bless others through you.
Have you discovered the specific area in which you are blessed? If so, consider how you are using what you have been given to impact the lives of those around you. It is essential for the people of God to examine themselves and evaluate their influence on others. Ask yourself: How am I using the blessings God has given me to make a difference in the lives of others? It is important to note that not everyone is called to be a blessing to multitudes. Sometimes, your impact may be felt most powerfully by your family or those in your immediate circle. Your blessing could be as simple as your words of encouragement, your smile, your show of love, or your financial support. No matter how small your contribution may seem, God cherishes every effort to positively touch the lives of others, as long as it comes from the heart.
Let us strive to be known not just for opposing what is wrong but for actively doing good. Wherever your blessings lie, use them genuinely and wholeheartedly to contribute positively to the lives of those around you, your society, and the world at large. As you continue to do this, trust that God will keep blessing you. Remember, better is not good enough—the best is yet to come.
Prayer: O Holy Spirit, continue to teach me your way of love so I can do good works, in Jesus’ name! Amen!
