In the past, God overlooked it when people believed He was on the outside, not on the inside. Today, God no longer ignores that error because the real Object of worship has come. By His resurrection Jesus Christ has demonstrated He is worthy of being the Object of our faith. He came to reset our belief. Because the Samaritan Woman was ignorant about certain things, Jesus met her at the Well of Jacob to perform a duty in her life. He brought her to God’s kind of lifestyle. Today, Jesus is looking for someone to change. The Gospel of God’s grace challenges and changes everything. Jesus came because of the unrighteous; He did not come for the knowledgeable but for the ignorant. In Acts 8:26-35 we can see that the Ethiopian man lacked spiritual insight on Jesus Christ but had a genuine desire to know more about God.
God will not open the door of wisdom to the one who keeps his Bible shut, for spiritual insight into Christ Jesus can only come by reading the Bible with devotion. Take note of this: Discovery is for forward lookers, so be a forward looker. We know what the Bible stands for: The Scripture is God’s Word, full of God’s promises. If anyone trusts God’s promises or relies upon them, God will fulfil them in the person’s life. Today I have good news for you: Like the Ethiopian man, someone is watching you. In the midst of your difficulties and trials someone is busy planning the way out for you. That someone is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit opens our eyes to what is promised to us in Christ Jesus. There is salvation in God’s Word and the Holy Spirit guides us into an understanding of that salvation. In John 8:31-32 the Bible says, “If you abide in my Word you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”
The Holy Spirit always finishes what He begins. He completely changes our lives as He regenerates and renews life. If Jesus changes you, that change will be permanent. Our will must be obedient to God’s will before God’s converting power can work in our hearts for thorough reformation of heart and life. The Holy Spirit, who reconciles all things in Christ Jesus, located the Ethiopian man and released him into his divine future. The spirit of success will continue to locate you, in Jesus Christ’s name. Are you a forward looker? If you are a forward looker, leave whatever you are passing through to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Personal Saviour, who will not leave you without a solution today.
