It was another momentous Sunday Service in The Arena Of Liberty on March 30, 2025 – a day to emphasise the power of contentment. Indeed, it was a time for many to encounter Jesus Christ through His Word and by His Spirit. After seeking mercy from the Son Of David, the people went into a session of soul-piercing worship. They proclaimed, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness, O Lord!” Soon, the auditorium became charged with supernatural presence as the people’s voices ascended to Heaven. “I Enter The Holy Of Holies/I Enter Through The Blood Of The Lamb,” they declared. And in expectation of what was to follow the Word as activated by the Spirit, worshippers further besought the God of all flesh: “Send Your Word To Heal, O Lord! Send Your Word To Free, O Lord!”
Reading from Matthew 16:26, Evangelist Chisom gave the sermon “CONTENTMENT”. Contrary to its simple title, however, the message focused on an extremely important issue of life: the apparent natural insatiability of human wants. According to the evangelist, many have strayed from the godly path in the desperate search for wealth, fame and life’s other ephemeral things. In the end, instead of finding peace and comfort, they have ended up with more fear, panic and distress.
Thus, having made a pact with the dark world, such impatient people have found themselves stuck with conditions that they cannot meet. To such people Evangelist Chisom posed the question: “What profit is it to lose your soul for something that will not follow you out of this world?” While stressing that the Bible does not forbid Christians from desiring possessions, wealth, fame or popularity, he urged believers to avoid seeking such things at the expense of eternal life. “Pay any price to protect your soul, your salvation,” he urged the congregation.
Accordingly, Evangelist Chisom counselled congregants to embrace the virtue of contentment, which comes from leading a disciplined life. Those who are disciplined and content, he observed, are never controlled by material things or sense perception. Thus, being easily swayed by the needs of the flesh, he went on, will cause one not to “be able to differentiate between God’s supply and satan’s bait.” As he closed the sermon, he enjoined all to accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ and pursue the salvation of their soul before anything else.
God’s Love – Their Source Of Hope, Joy And Courage
“It is another glorious day in His presence,” said Pastor Evelyn Joshua as she made her way to the Prayer Line section.
She raised her voice towards Heaven: “Thank You, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the Alpha and Omega, the Restoration and the Life, the Beginning and the End, the Lord who is, was and to come – our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thank You, Father! We give You all the praise.
We thank You for Your love that gives us hope, joy and courage. We thank You for your love that never lets us down and never leaves us. And so we give You all the praise that You deserve. Mighty God, we submit to You our case, our wants. Lord Almighty, touch us today for change, healing, deliverance, blessing, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
For many who had come with various issues, it was indeed a morning of spectacular change – a change from sickness to health.
Among the cases were hernia, piles, drug addiction, loss of memory, asthma, ulcers, skin infection, difficulty in walking and swollen belly.
There were also women who had come for prayer over the bundles of joy they were carrying, as well as those seeking healing for breast cancer, bleeding and other troubles of the body.
Joining Pastor Evelyn Joshua, The SCOAN Evangelists also stood on the believer’s authority to minister healing and deliverance to cases such as prostate enlargement, vulval prolapse, difficulty in urinating, mental disorder, neck mass, chronic disease, acute leukemia, difficulty in breathing, and epilepsy, etc.
With the understanding that faith is a necessary condition for receiving, many others were impacted by the power that heals, liberates, blesses and saves!
For those in the One-On-One Session it was indeed a moment of divine separation, with light overtaking darkness, freedom replacing bondage and plenty supplanting lack! As God’s Word promises in Obadiah 1:17, the people took charge of their possessions.
And Every Evil Wall Crumbled!
The Mass Prayer session was another impactful time for God’s people. As Pastor Evelyn Joshua stepped onto the Altar in the company of the evangelists, she broke into song and congregants followed her cue.
She cited Isaiah 41:10-13 and assured the people: “Do not fear; He is your Strength and your Refuge. God will help you if you let go of offence. That is His promise.”
The woman of God prayed: “Sin’s power over your life, home, family, finances, marriage – be broken, in the name of Jesus! Every garment of shame, affliction, every burden of all kinds in your life – be removed, in the name of Jesus! Any power that holds you down, that brings you setbacks, career failure – be loosed, in the name of Jesus! Receive your blessings! Receive your freedom! Receive your deliverance, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua continued to pray: “Every wall of hindrance, affliction, challenges in the lives of your children – we command them to crumble right now, in the name of Jesus! Release Your blessings, O Lord, into their lives, in the name of Jesus! Every affliction, disease, trouble that has been tormenting you – I command it to come out, in the name of Jesus Christ. Receive your healing, deliverance, breakthrough, freedom! In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray! Amen.”
To viewers all over the world Pastor Evelyn Joshua said: “The presence of the Creator of the universe is there with you; by faith, look to Christ Jesus. There is a way for you; Jesus Christ is the Way.”
She then declared upon them: “Every wall of destruction built around you, within you, inside you – we command it to crumble right now, in the name of Jesus Christ. Every wall of challenges that satan may have built around you – we command it to crumble, in the name of Jesus! We command every sickness, every affliction in your life: Be healed, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be delivered from that chain, from that cage, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist James asked congregants to decree: “You unclean spirit, you familiar spirit troubling my life – I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
Taking over, Evangelist Joseph prayed: “You demons, familiar spirits, contrary spirits, messengers of satan – bow, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Evangelist Chisom urged the people to pray: “You spirit, anywhere you are, causing me sickness, causing me affliction – I command you in the name of Jesus: Out! You sickness in my blood, kidneys – my body is not your resting place. Out, in the name of Jesus!”
At his turn, Evangelist Ope charged the congregation to declare: “You spirit of rising and falling operating in my life, in my family, in my business – Out, in the name of Jesus!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua spoke with divine authority: “Whatever that is not of God – that affliction in your blood, bones, kidneys, liver, brain, heart – shout it out in the name of Jesus! Whatever that is not of God in your business, career, finances, marriage, family – shout it out in the name of Jesus! Be delivered, in the name of Jesus! O ye that are poor, be blessed, in the name of Jesus! O ye that are sick, be healed, in the name of Jesus!”

“My Agility Is Back!” Declares Police Officer Healed Of Waist Pain
On March 2, 2025, police inspector Ezekiel summoned the strength to stand up for prayer in The Synagogue as an evangelist ministered in Jesus’ mighty name. He had felt severe pain all over his body as he got off a bus on February 25, 2025. He described moving from that bus stop to his destination as “the march to Golgotha.” In the coming days Ezekiel went from one clinic to the next, seeking relief for the severe waist pain that was making his life miserable. Along the line, his wife advised him to visit The SCOAN for prayer.
“As the evangelist prayed for me, I felt divine power flow through me,” Ezekiel explained on March 30, 2025. Later that night, he said, he had a dream in which an image of Prophet TB Joshua read Bible passages to him, confirming his healing. On returning to the clinic, Ezekiel got a clean bill of health. “My agility is back!” he declared. “I had feared I would end up in a wheelchair,” he noted. He advised others to place their faith in God’s power as demonstrated in any living church.
Set Free From Vengeful Ancestral Demon!
A vengeful demonic spirit had been bothering Rita’s life since infancy. Although she hadn’t known it initially, Rita eventually got to understand her situation as she grew older. “I was nominated in the womb by my grandmother to replace her as the priestess of a shrine that oversaw seven clans,” she disclosed on March 30, 2025. Her grandmother had passed away seven days after the nomination. But Rita’s mother never wanted her daughter to be a shrine devotee. However, the case was different with her father. “He took me to the shrine, to the utter anger and disappointment of my mother,” Rita continued.
Afterwards, Rita’s mother took her away from the vicinity of the shrine. “I went to live with a relative, who took advantage of me in many ways,” she said. That relative had prevented her from being taken to the USA by a family that had been impressed by her brilliance. “The family gave her a substantial sum of money for my education here in Nigeria,” Rita went on, “but my aunt invested it in her own business and made me hawk oranges for years.” Years later, marriage didn’t bring succour to Rita’s life either. “We struggled financially throughout the marriage, which ended with my husband’s death in the seventh year,” she said.
Troubled by the trajectory of her life, Rita had opened up to a neighbour who had fallen pregnant after years of infertility. “She told me that God had answered her prayer in The Synagogue,” she explained. Rita then began to follow Emmanuel TV, eventually coming to The SCOAN for her deliverance. After an anointed touch by an evangelist, Rita saw the demon in her flee forever. “Now I breathe well and sleep peacefully,” she confirmed. “Delay is not denial,” she urged others while asking them to keep seeking God.
Amazing Testimonies Of God’s Power In The Anointing Water
On March 30, 2025, Mamai testified about the healing power of the Anointing Water. According to the France-based hair stylist, “My leg had swollen all of a sudden and I couldn’t do my work effectively.” After ministering the Water, however, she experienced the miraculous. “I could easily do my work again because the swelling vanished. “Thank You, Jesus!” she exclaimed. And Deborah Moves From Affliction To Favour!
On March 23, 2025, the deliverance power in the mighty name of Jesus Christ was yet again proved in The Arena Of Liberty. It was the day that Deborah got liberated from the spirit husband that had afflicted her in many ways for decades. “I knew it from my childhood,” she said, speaking about her dream-world intimacy with a strange man. “I would wake up wet all over,” she recalled. The situation made Deborah so stubborn that she constantly disobeyed her parents. She also dropped out of school and had a hard time learning a trade. “I was always an angry, aggressive and fearful person,” she admitted.
Besides, she had serious problems with relationships. “I fell pregnant by a man who abandoned me,” Deborah continued. “Even friends didn’t want me around them,” she added. Unhappy about her situation, Deborah opened up to her mother Kudirat about her dreams and problems. Without wasting time, Kudirat’s mother had brought her to the church for the prayer of deliverance. Since then, Deborah has come into a new life of peace and acceptance. “My business has improved and people now notice me,” she testified. “Only God can save us,” she reminded others. Kudirat’s mother confirmed the testimony. “I’m so happy that my daughter has found peace and joy,” she said, urging other parents to seek God’s help for their children.
Freed From The Idols Of Their Father’s House!
“I’ve taken from her – she’s too small!” That was the loud boast from the demon assigned to deprive Happiness of joy. “I came from an idol-worshipping home and my witchdoctor father always made us eat leftover sacrificial food,” she told the church on March 30, 2025. She continued, “He never liked us to use new things.” Despite being such a brilliant girl, Happiness found it impossible to focus in school. “I would get cold just before classes and leave the classroom for hours,” she said. Meanwhile, life continued to stay hard for the young woman, who kept having many strange dreams and later developed a strange skin infection. Eventually, she left home, having been commanded to do so by a figure in the dream. Interestingly, just a few days after leaving home, Happiness saw the skin infection vanish. “Was it in the home, then?” she asked herself about her problems.
Moving on, she found a job and along the line met a man by whom she ended up having two children. The man’s family had flatly rejected her but the couple had decided to stick it out all the same. “Soon, his business became troubled and he could no longer sustain us,” Happiness opened up. Given this penurious situation, Happiness had to leave the man’s house for the village. At some point, however, it appeared that things had got better as Happiness started a restaurant business that picked up quite well. Sadly, her usually friendly, fatherly landlord soon ejected her from the premises. She was also having liver issues and constant headaches. It was at this point that she made her way to The SCOAN for the prayer of deliverance.
Since that special day, Happiness has found peace and good health, with doctors confirming that her liver issues have vanished – for the glory of God! “God has never failed,” Happiness reminded others, even as she asked them to pray constantly. Her mother confirmed the testimony and shared her own experience as a witchdoctor’s wife. “Always seek God over the issues of life,” she advised others. One of Happiness’ siblings, Rejoice, told of how the demons of her father’s house had troubled her own life as well. Another sibling, Lucky, glorified God for the family’s deliverance.
A Distinguished Professor Speaks Of God’s Unfathomable Power!
Distinguished Professor Kingsley Agbafor, a medical biochemist, testified of God’s goodness in his life over the years. He began by noting that he had come from an idol-worshipping background. “I couldn’t pass my school certificate examination the first time,” he recalled on March 30, 2025. He then managed to make it through university and subsequently secure a university appointment. “For a long while I was stagnated on my job,” he disclosed. Even in marriage, Prof. Agbafor had stayed infertile for eight years. “I drank every concoction under the sun,” the scientist disclosed as he spoke of his visits to many places he wasn’t proud of.
The story changed, however, when he discovered Emmanuel TV and began to follow the channel. “I eventually came to The SCOAN and went home with the Morning Water (now Anointing Water) – and the rest is history,” said the proud father of three. Prof. Agbafor also spoke about how God’s power took over as he planned to give his inaugural lecture. Although he had no more than three weeks to prepare for the lecture, Prof. Agbafor ignored the voice of doubt and carried on with his preparations. “I saw Pastor Evelyn Joshua’s message in Spain about battling fear and it motivated me,” he said.
And so, on February 3, 2025, after having prepared for the lecture and sorted out the finances and logistics within ten days, Prof. Agbafor proceeded to give the lecture after declaring: “O Holy Spirit, take more of me and give me more of You.” And from the Holy Spirit came confidence that surprised even the professor himself! He said he had started with the words of Prophet TB Joshua: “The beauty of life does not depend on how happy you are but on how happy others can be because of you.” At the end of the lecture it was indeed euphoria galore as everyone offered him a standing ovation!
Distinguished Prof. Agbafor described the Anointing Water as the Blood Of Jesus. He also commended Pastor Evelyn Joshua for picking up the mantle and continuing God’s work in The Synagogue. He advised others to spread the news of Emmanuel TV and to rely on God’s power always.
