The glorious atmosphere in the auditorium was given a powerful boost by the message of the man of God, ACTING ON THE WORD. Prophet T.B. Joshua urged Christians to spend quality time with the Word of God in order to allow it to permeate their hearts so that they would be empowered to bring the Son of God on the scene in times of urgent need: “You must give your quality time, strength, love to the Word of God.” Speaking further, the man of God pointed out that no matter how great our relationship with God would be, it must be tested through trials and temptations so that there would be mutual trust: “A relationship needs to be tested – it must go through good and hard times before it can be called a relationship.”

 

According to the man of God, as a Christian, “Crisis or situation is not your enemy but your friend. They are meant to promote you.” He added that “Situations are meant for our spiritual benefit, spiritual growth.” The man of God further emphasised that the spirit of man must be free before it can attract the Holy Spirit, hence the need for Christians to be happy even in the face of situations: “Sadness is not permitted by the Holy Spirit because He wants a free spirit to operate.”

Concluding, Prophet T.B. Joshua reminded Christians of the attack of satan against those who genuinely stand with God: “If you say you are a Christian, satan is coming to confirm whether you are a Christian in your heart.”

In an earlier message titled 5 LOAVES AND 2 FISH, Evangelist Catherine drew the attention of Christians to God’s overwhelming ability to bless them beyond their imagination, if only they abide by His will. According to her, “Jesus has all we need to succeed.” She further stressed the fact that all we need to do as Christians is to believe and act accordingly. She used Peter’s encounter with Jesus as an appropriate analogy: “After following the instruction of Jesus, Peter’s net began to break and his boat began to sink because what God had for him was so huge and massive.” She summed up her message in the following words: “The more you look to him, the more faith you will have in Him and attract his attention.”

LOST BUT FOUND BY THE OMNISCIENT SPIRIT OF GOD

Penultimate Saturday, the peace in his home had been tampered with by the devil. For inexplicable reasons, he returned home to discover that his mother-in-law was missing. According to Mr Chigozie Osinike, it was a very big burden that hung around his neck like the sword of Damocles. Owing to the way the Nigerian society receives news of missing persons with all sorts of insinuations, Mr Osinike knew he was in for a rough ride with what people would have to say. All search efforts aimed at locating the old woman failed to yield any results. Like a soap bubble that had distilled into thin air, she was nowhere to be found.

Both Mr Osinike and his son had contacted The SCOAN prayer and counselling lines and were assured that the old woman would be found. At about midnight of that fateful Saturday, he had vowed to unleash God’s power on the issue, telling everyone who cared that he was taking the matter to the Arena of Liberty. Arriving at The SCOAN the next day, being a Sunday, Mr Osinike tabled the matter before the evangelists who advised him to get the missing woman’s picture. Heeding their advice, he got the picture and settled into the auditorium, whispering to God to pull off the veil of shame that the matter was hoisting over his life.

As he continued to call on God, Prophet T.B. Joshua made his way into the auditorium and started ministering prayer to congregants. The man of God moved from seat to seat, laying hands on people. As he approached Mr Osinike’s location and directed his anointed hand towards persons in that area, something mysterious happened. At that point in time, Mr Osinike received a call all the way from the eastern part of Nigeria, informing him that his missing mother-in-law had been found in a Lagos suburb known as Iyana-SARS. That phone call was spot-on. According to Mr Osinike, the power of God in Prophet T.B. Joshua triggered the miracle.

During his testimony last Sunday in company of his wife, son and the lost-but-found mother-in-law, Mr Osinike expressed immense gratitude to God for restoring peace in his heart since the moment the missing woman was found. Urging people all over the world to put their trust in God, he declared that God is in every corner at the Arena of Liberty. On her part, Mrs Osinike also thanked God for using the anointing in the life of Prophet T.B. Joshua to help them find their missing mother. Mr Osinike left the following advice to people all over the world: “If you are in Christ, you are no longer condemned. Believe and serve Him wholeheartedly.”

WHEN JESUS IS INVOLVED, IT’S ALWAYS A WALK-OVER

After winning the American Diversity Lottery, Mrs Priscilla Osobase travelled to the United States. Being a nurse back in Nigeria, she reckoned it was worthwhile to practice her profession in the US and to do so, she needed to sit for a special examination. Usually a six-hour paper, the computer-generated examination was not an easy ride. In her first attempt, she failed and was not happy. Gathering herself together, she prepared herself for a second attempt. At that juncture, she had already told her father about her challenges with the examination. Even though he sent her the Morning Water, she did not pay serious attention to it.

It was after her second attempt ended in the same failure that she realised she had to tackle the problem headlong with the power of God. Through a friend’s encouragement, she started watching Emmanuel TV, praying along with the man of God. She also embraced the idea of ministering the Morning Water. When it was time for her to make a third attempt at the elusive qualifying examination, she placed a demand on the anointing through prayer and fasting and the ministration of the Morning Water. Few days to the date of the examination, Mrs Osobase had a dream in which it was revealed to her that she will pass the examination in flying colours.

On the day of the examination, she ministered the Morning Water on her hands and prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua before leaving for the venue. After the examination, just as she had seen in her dream, Mrs Priscilla Osobase passed in flying colours. It took her only forty-five minutes to break the jinx that had plagued her all the while. And since then, she has been a practicing nurse in the city of Michigan, USA. During her testimony last Sunday, she was full of joy as she thanked God for levelling the stumbling block that had almost stopped her from practising her profession in the United States. She urged people all over the world never to lean on their own understanding but to put all their trust in God.

HOW DISABILITY TURNED TO SUPER-ABILITY THROUGH CHRIST JESUS

Sometime in 2015, he had fallen from the stairs and had torn a tendon in his leg. Plagued by severe pains and inability to work, the Kenyan living in the United States was labelled disabled. Doctors, after evaluating his condition suggested that surgery would be the best bet for him. He was given a knee brace and some pain-killing medication but all amounted to a waste of time and effort. At their best, those palliatives provided only temporary relief. For Mr Fanuel Oloo, the development meant that he would not be able to continue with his job as a realtor, bearing in mind that people who sell houses do a lot of walking.

As he considered the options left to him, a friend introduced him to Emmanuel TV. Watching the anointed channel and seeing the wonderful miracles God is using Prophet T.B. Joshua to perform, his faith grew and inspired his decision to visit the Arena of Liberty. When he eventually visited The SCOAN, he proceeded to the Prayer Line where he had an unforgettable encounter with God. According to him, as soon as the man of God touched him, he experienced a black-out only to remember when the man of God tapped his leg. “When he touched my leg, it felt heavy. He then asked me to stand up and walk and since that moment I have been doing those things I could not do before”, he added.

Walking perfectly without any form of inhibition before the congregation, Mr Oloo thanked God for restoring his ability to walk and for enabling him to go back to his job. Beaming with a glorious smile, he had the following scriptural counsel for people all over the world: “Trust the Lord your God with all your heart: lean not unto your own understanding. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.”

AGE-LONG DEMONIC POISON EXPELLED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

For fifteen years, she had been eating in the dream. And whenever she wakes from such dreams, she would feel serious pains all over her body. She had thought that perhaps going to the hospital, would put an end to the pains but instead of abating, they became worse. Mrs Millicent Kumah had received all sorts of painkillers but her condition remained as it was. She could not walk long distances without complaining of fatigue.

Her doctors had concluded that the only way out would be an operation but the woman from Ghana refused. Confused and totally dejected about the development, she complained to a friend who advised her to watch Emmanuel TV. Though she was initially sceptical about watching the anointed channel with her friend’s persuasion, she started viewing the great and awesome works of God through His servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua.

By the time she realised that Emmanuel TV is a powerful and awe-inspiring medium, she regretted the fact that she did not come across the channel earlier. Mrs Kumah became very passionate about Emmanuel TV and made it an obligation to pray along with the man of God regularly. Having built her faith to an unflinching level, the next major thought in her mind was to visit The SCOAN. Penultimate Sunday, she was in the auditorium, all the way from her native Ghana to have an encounter with God.

During Mass Prayer, as the man of God commanded all sicknesses and infirmities out of the lives of congregants, Mrs Kumah placed one hand on her head and the other on her stomach. As the prayer intensified, she felt an object drop out of her mouth while she was vomiting blood. Prophet T.B. Joshua told congregants that she had eaten poison in her dream but due to the power of the anointing flowing around the auditorium, the Holy Spirit stepped in and caused her to vomit that fatal poison that had threatened her wellbeing for so long.

According to her, as soon as she finished vomiting the blood and the strange object, she felt a surge of renewed energy in her. All the pains also ceased immediately. During her testimony last Sunday, Mrs Kumah looked fresh, full of life and calm. She radiated sound health even as congregants joined her in thanking God for delivering her and restoring her health through the anointed touch of Prophet T.B. Joshua.

ADDICTION TO ALCOHOL WIPED AWAY BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Mr Osakwe had started drinking alcohol when he was just twenty years. He would sneak into his father’s room and make away with all sorts of alcoholic drinks which he usually drank in company of his friends. From there, his urge for drinking became an addiction. Sometimes, he would drink himself to stupor and get sick only to return to drinking whenever he recovered fully. When he eventually left Nigeria to Belgium, his addiction to alcohol became worrisome. He would drink himself comatose and would end up in the hospital.

There were times he would beat his wife because she refused to allow him to waste his money on alcohol. It never occurred to him that he was doing anything wrong. He simply felt that he was enjoying his life but unknown to him, there were malevolent forces which had made him become a slave to his ungodly passions. How do you explain a scenario where a man would use his house rent to drink alcohol not minding the consequences?

During a visit to his sister in Spain, she had found weed (marijuana) and cigarettes in his pocket and had expressed her reservations about his habits. That same night, he returned home drunk and stupefied. His apparently angry and disappointed sister decided to make an arrangement to get him the Morning Water all the way from Nigeria. She also introduced him to Emmanuel TV. When he received the Morning Water, he looked down on the anointed medium, thinking that it would go the way of all other failed efforts he had made in the past to get himself off the hook of liquor.

His sister kept encouraging him to use the Morning Water, against all odds. When he returned to Belgium, Mr Osakwe started watching Emmanuel TV and praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua. Each time he prayed, he asked the Holy Spirit to uproot whatever was in him that was not planted by God. In a matter of days, he realised that his urge for alcohol had started waning. And to God be the glory, it got to a point that he stopped drinking and smoking completely. Testifying last Sunday, he told congregants that he now has peace in his home, adding that favour and breakthrough have been his portions ever since. He thanked God for delivering him from an addiction that almost destroyed his marriage.

ANAL CANCER ENCOUNTERS JESUS AND DISAPPEARS!

The pains were too much to bear. He could not even walk upright for long before bending down to gnash his teeth in pain. The protruding growth from his anus was an eyesore that prevented him from even wearing his trousers. It was so terrible that he had thought he would die. His mother had taken him to different hospitals but the suggestion of the doctors was categorically unpalatable. They had told his mother that an operation which would involve an outright cutting off of the growth was the only viable solution.

Rejecting the doctors’ suggestion with an air of finality, mother and son soon found another ‘solution’. This time, Friday was admitted into an herbal home where a woman gave him different concoctions to drink. Spending a couple of days there, he realised that his condition was not improving. Instead, the pains were escalating by the minute. Friday could not sleep for days. He would pass through the night standing and languishing in pains.

Returning to the hospital where he had earlier rejected the idea of an operation, he met a man who, on learning about his predicament, advised that he be taken to The SCOAN. According to him, when they arrived at The SCOAN, they were received with a sense of urgency by the ushers who ensured that they were attended to due to the severity of his case. With his anus protruding a cancerous growth, Friday yelled for help as the pains intensified. As soon as the man of God learnt about his case, he moved towards his direction outside the auditorium and laid his anointed hand on him. Commanding the anus cancer to disappear, the man of God tapped him twice on the head. And that was it!

During his testimony last Sunday, Friday told congregants that while the man of God was praying for him, he felt a sensation as if the protruding anus was being pushed back by a force he could not see. After that prayer, he received the Morning Water which he was advised to minister on the particular spot where the growth was. After some days, the protruding anal cancer disappeared together with the pains and discomfort it had caused for the young man.

Thanking God in company of his mother last Sunday, Mr Friday Igbaifua advised people all over the world to have the faith that Jesus heals, no matter the magnitude of the ailment. His mother virtually rolled on the floor, expressing her gratitude to God for saving her son from an ailment that almost took his life.

DELIVERED FROM DEMONIC MANIPULATION

He had been a thorn in the flesh of his parents. Very stubborn, he would confront his parents whenever they tried to correct or scold him for any wrongdoing. His addiction to pornography had even threatened his studies much to the disappointment of his parents. According to Samuel, he had a load of problems which included having a spirit wife and mingling with bad friends. At a point, he fell out with his father who stopped paying for his tuition. Because of his misdemeanours, his father had threatened to divorce his mother. The crisis between him and his father climaxed when he was driven out of the house and had to put up with a friend.

Life with his friend was full of freedom. His friend was the unserious type who derived so much pleasure from going to clubs, drinking and smoking. Somehow, his father recalled him from ‘exile’ after listening to Prophet T.B. Joshua’s teaching about the consequences of holding onto offence. When he returned, he apologised to his father, even though the apology was not from his heart. At about this time, he was expecting his West African Examinations Council result for the Senior Secondary Certificate Exams. When the results were released, his were withheld.

By the time his results were eventually released, they had been cancelled. The development hit him hard psychologically. His mother was disappointed, having spent so much on his education. It was at this juncture that his father decided that the young man needed deliverance. Having concluded plans for a visit to The SCOAN, Samuel was brought into the picture. Though he protested the suddenness of the journey to Lagos, he could not resist the workings of the Spirit of God who was behind all the processes that led to his deliverance.

Samuel received his deliverance after the demon tormenting him was cast out by Prophet T.B. Joshua. The demon had confessed all the evil it had wrought in the life of Samuel, causing him to be rude, angry and stubborn. Even his addiction to pornography was the handiwork of the demon. After his deliverance, he came back last Sunday for his testimony accompanied by his parents and siblings. Thanking God for their son’s deliverance, his parents narrated the ordeal they went through, trying to make their son a better person. On his part, Samuel apologised to his parents for his past misdemeanours instigated by the demon. As a new and changed person, Samuel said he no longer dreams of having sex with women. Describing him as now respectful, his parents advised that: “We should caution our children when they are wrong and not love them above God.”
