The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir

The SCOAN Choir

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) welcomed worshippers to another glorious Sunday Service, with believers around the world joining through Emmanuel TV to seek the face of God.

It was a day of heartfelt worship, inspiring testimonies, the teaching of God’s Word, and prayers for healing and deliverance, as the congregation gathered in faith and expectation at the Arena of Liberty.

The words of Prophet T. B. Joshua also offered a timely reminder of the importance of prayer: “Have you said your prayers today? If not, do so now because each day is a gift to be opened with prayer.” This call to daily communion with God set the tone for a service centred on gratitude, repentance, faith and renewed commitment to His will.

The SCOAN Choir led the congregation into a rich atmosphere of worship, beginning with a reminder from Psalm 103:2: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” Worshippers were encouraged to remember God’s goodness and remain grateful for His faithfulness through every season of life.

With the heartfelt song, “Lord, I Wanna Know You,” the congregation expressed a desire for a deeper relationship with God. The prayerful lyrics, asking the Lord to teach His people His ways and truth, encouraged worshippers to move beyond outward expressions of faith and seek a genuine understanding of His will.

Expression Of Worship

The atmosphere deepened as the choir led the congregation in “We Bow Down And Worship Him.” Hearts were directed towards Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, in humble adoration of His majesty and greatness. The worshippers acknowledged that all honour, glory and reverence belong to Him alone.

The Arena of Liberty resounded with a collective cry for God’s intervention as worshippers asked Him to send His Word to heal, bless and deliver. With hearts fixed on Jesus, the congregation looked to His Word for direction, freedom and redemption, trusting Him with every concern and expectation.

HOLY SPIRIT RESTORES TAIWO’S ABILITY TO WALK

Here is her testimony:

Taiwo had been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the right hip, a condition that affected her mobility and made walking difficult.

Despite seeking medical treatment, she continued to experience discomfort and struggled with her daily movements. With her condition persisting, she turned to God for help at The Synagogue, Church of All Nations.

At the Prayer Line, an evangelist prayed for her in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Following the prayer, Taiwo testified that the pain and discomfort she had been experiencing disappeared, giving her renewed freedom of movement.

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, she returned to testify alongside her son, demonstrating her improved ability to walk.

She advised the people: “Turn to God whenever you face difficulties and trust Him through your moment of trouble.”

HEARING PROBLEM AND FAMILY IDOL EXPELLED BY JESUS

Here is her testimony:

Elizabeth grew up watching members of her family struggle with financial difficulties and marital setbacks. In search of an explanation for these recurring problems, she was told that her grandmother had practised idol worship.

As Elizabeth grew older, she also began experiencing disturbing nightmares, followed by setbacks in her business.

On one occasion, she had dreamt of a cockroach entering her right ear. She subsequently developed hearing difficulties. She also suffered persistent stomach pain, which was eventually diagnosed as an ulcer.

Medical treatment did not bring the relief she desired, prompting a friend to introduce her to Emmanuel TV.

Believing that God would intervene in her situation, Elizabeth visited The SCOAN and proceeded to the Prayer Line.

An evangelist prayed for her healing and deliverance, during which she fell to the ground, an experience she attributed to the power of God.

She testified that after getting up, the problems that had troubled her were gone, to the glory of God.

She advised the people: “Draw closer to God and seek Him in faith, regardless of how difficult your circumstances might appear.“

DOUBLE FREEDOM FOR ROSEMARY THROUGH CHRIST

Here is her testimony:

Rosemary came to The SCOAN seeking relief from a stomach ulcer. She later learnt that her mother had consulted an herbalist when she was pregnant with her. Rosemary associated this family history with the repeated failures and setbacks she and her siblings had experienced.

On one occasion, she had discovered a strange object in front of her shop and decided to pour sand over it. Following the incident, she began experiencing unusual pain in her leg, adding to the difficulties she was already facing.

Encouraged to seek God’s intervention, Rosemary visited The SCOAN and received prayer at the Prayer Line.

An evangelist ministered prayer to her in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and she subsequently testified that she had received relief from the stomach ulcer and deliverance from yoke of the family idol.

Testifying on Sunday, October 11, 2026, Rosemary expressed gratitude to God for the freedom she had experienced.

She advised the people: “Remain steadfast in their faith and trust God through the challenges of life.”

FAMILY IDOL NEUTRALISED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Here is her testimony:

Florence’s difficulties began early in life when she developed persistent headaches. Concerned about her condition, her mother consulted an herbalist, who attributed the problem to her connection with the marine kingdom.

Florence later began experiencing nightmares in which strange men appeared to have sexual encounters with her.

These troubling experiences affected her concentration and contributed to a period of reckless behaviour, including drinking and smoking.

Her family also experienced painful losses, including the deaths of two of her siblings, while repeated failures and stagnation appeared to characterise their circumstances.

Florence’s business ventures yielded little success. When she started a poultry business, she eventually lost all her birds. Other ventures also ended in failure, and she said the setbacks were often preceded by dreams involving a strange but beautiful woman.

Overwhelmed by the recurring difficulties, Florence reached a point of despair and contemplated suicide.

She procured bleach intending to drink it, but after consuming the substance, she was surprised to find herself still alive.

Her Road To Freedom

Amid these troubling circumstances, her mother encouraged her to seek help at The SCOAN.

Although initially reluctant, Florence eventually visited the Arena of Liberty and proceeded to the Prayer Line.

An evangelist prayed for her, commanding the family idol to leave her life, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Testifying on Sunday, October 11, 2026, Florence said the nightmares, setbacks and confusion that had troubled her have all disappeared.

Her mother also thanked God for what she described as her daughter’s glorious deliverance, expressing gratitude for the change in their family circumstances following years of distress.

She advised the people: “Maintain your faith in God, regardless of the difficulties you might be experiencing.”

SCOAN Sunday Service: Don’t Talk Anyhow!

LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: Don’t Talk Anyhow!

Taking his place at the altar, Evangelist Ope began the message with an expression of joy: “I am happy, I am full of joy, nothing worries me.” He then introduced his sermon, titled “Don’t Talk Anyhow,” drawing his proof text from 2 Kings 7:1-2

Other biblical references included Proverbs 6:2, Proverbs 15:4, Numbers 14:28, Psalm 141:3, John 6:63 and Proverbs 18:21. Through these passages, he examined the importance of speech in the life of a believer and challenged the congregation to pay closer attention to the words they speak.

Evangelist Ope began by warning that careless speech can undermine a person’s spiritual outlook and conduct. He observed that some believers continue to experience difficulties despite their prayers because they have not changed the way they speak.

“Many of God’s children talk anyhow and they wonder why their lives are anyhow,” he said. “It is a spiritual error to talk anyhow. When you talk anyhow, your life will probably be anyhow.”

He explained that people must examine not only their circumstances but also their everyday conversations. According to him, persistent negative speech can reinforce a mindset of defeat, while words that reflect God’s promises can encourage hope, perseverance and faith.

The Words You Speak, Determines The Life You Enjoy

Emphasising the relationship between one’s utterances and their outlook on life, Evangelist Ope declared: “The words you speak determines the life you enjoy. The life you will enjoy will be determined by the words you speak.” He encouraged believers to stop speaking as though failure were inevitable and instead align their words with the faith they profess.

“When you talk failure, you will live the life of failure. When you talk success, you will live a life of success. Your life reflects your words. Your life is a reflection of your words. Don’t talk anyhow!” he said.

He further explained that a believer’s words should be consistent with the Word of God. When one’s words are guided by biblical truth, he said, they help promote consistency in one’s conduct and outlook. Conversely, words that contradict God’s Word can contribute to confusion and instability.

“When your words or what you say are consistent with God’s Word, your life becomes consistent. If your words or what you say are not consistent with God’s Word, your life becomes inconsistent,” he said, urging the congregation to embrace disciplined and purposeful speech.

Evangelist Ope reminded worshippers that God takes their words seriously. He noted that Jesus Christ taught about the significance of what people say, pointing to the biblical principle that words can either justify or condemn a person. Believers, therefore, should not regard speech as a trivial matter but as an important expression of the heart.

God’s Word Is Spirit And Life

He added that words have spiritual significance, citing John 6:63 and Proverbs 18:21. He reminded the congregation that Scripture teaches the importance of life-giving speech and warns against the destructive consequences of careless words.

“People of God, words are not ordinary. Words are Spirits. Your words are either life or death to you or anything,” he said, encouraging worshippers to recognise the responsibility that accompanies the ability to speak.

Drawing from Matthew 12:36–37, he reminded them that people will give an account of their words. He also referenced Hebrews 11:3 to illustrate the biblical teaching that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, reinforcing his point that words must be treated with seriousness and care.

The evangelist added that words reveal a person’s inner disposition and help shape how that person is perceived by others. He described speech as a reflection of one’s thoughts, arguing that people should learn to speak in a manner consistent with the future they hope to build rather than continually expressing the fears that trouble them.

SCOAN Sunday Service: Don't Talk Anyhow!

“Let your words be the photograph of the future you desire and not of the future you fear,” he said.

Agreeing With God’s Word

He stressed, however, that speaking in faith requires personal responsibility. Believers must consciously choose words that agree with God’s Word rather than using speech carelessly or speaking negatively in moments of frustration.

“Say only what is in accord with God’s Word. Don’t talk anyhow, child of God. Let your words be in harmony, in line with God’s Word,” he urged.

Concluding his message, Evangelist Ope challenged the congregation to pause and reflect before speaking. He encouraged everyone to examine their daily conversations, refrain from negative declarations and recognise that the words they use are their responsibility.“Whatever you say, you get. You talk small, you get small. I talk big because I have a big God. To His power, nothing is impossible. I refuse to talk anyhow!” he declared.

The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prayerline Session (October 11, 2026)

Pastor Evelyn Joshua

As the service progressed, Pastor Evelyn Joshua joined the congregation in the auditorium, leading the people in a heartfelt prayer of thanksgiving, repentance and renewed commitment to God’s Word. She began by acknowledging God’s faithfulness in filling each day with fresh reasons to praise and worship Him.

She prayed: “Father Lord, we thank You because You have filled each day with a new reason for us to praise and to worship You. Father, we just come to say ‘Thank You’ this morning. Accept our thanks in the name of Jesus Christ. Almighty God, we ask You this morning to touch us with Your healing Hands, Your compassionate Fingers. Give us the grace to abide in Your Word. Almighty God, free us from every bondage, in the name of Jesus Christ,” she continued.

Drawing from Matthew 7:12, Pastor Evelyn Joshua taught the congregation about the importance of treating others as they would wish to be treated. She described this biblical principle as the Golden Rule and encouraged believers to make it a practical expression of their Christian faith.

SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (October 11, 2026)

Pastor Evelyn Joshua

SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Evangelists

The Mass Prayer session began with Evangelist James declaring, “The Lord is good, all the time.” He encouraged the congregation to approach God in faith, asking for His mercy and intervention in every area of their lives.

He led the people in prayer, saying, “Lord Jesus, locate me in Your mercy. Let Your mercy speak for me.”

Evangelist James then prayed for the removal of every obstacle that could hinder their prayers, including disobedience, unfaithfulness and personal weaknesses.

“Lord Jesus, come into my life and put an end to whatever will hinder my prayer. Be it my disobedience, unfaithfulness, weakness. Lord, come into my life and put an end to it. Every evil power troubling my life, family, anywhere you are, I command you, in the name of Jesus – Holy Ghost fire! Every evil force, command them out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist Chisom followed with prayers against ancestral spirits and family idols standing against people’s breakthroughs.

“That unclean, ancestral spirit, family idol, standing against your breakthrough, listen to the voice of God, anywhere you are, in the name of Jesus, we command you – out! What is standing against your breakthrough, blessing, deliverance, command them out, in the name of Jesus. That spirit from your father’s side, mother’s side, anywhere you are – out!”

Evangelist Joseph prayed for divine mercy and healing, addressing sickness and affliction.

“O Lord, Your mercy hands of healing upon me! Whatever poison hiding in your system, spirit of affliction and sickness, hear the voice of God, anywhere you are – out!”

Evangelist Ope then prayed against forces frustrating people’s businesses and careers.

“Every spirit frustrating my business, career, anywhere you are – Holy Ghost fire! Command them to give way in the same name of Jesus!”

SCOAN Sunday Service: Pastor Evelyn Joshua

Taking over the session, Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the congregation to release themselves from every influence that had hindered their spiritual growth, peace and progress.

“Begin to release yourself from every spirit of shame, satanic influence, spirit of confusion, manipulative spirit, spirit of idolatry that causes men to commit all kinds of shameful acts, continue to release yourself right now. Every spirit that is militating against your life, standing against your success – loose your grip!”

She also extended prayers to viewers watching through Emmanuel TV, asking God to free them from limitations, sickness and disappointment.

“Be delivered from that cage – cage of limitation, sickness, disappointment, in the name of Jesus. O Lord Almighty, assign Your angels to be the Watch over Your children. Every sickness be replaced with solution, in the name of Jesus! Breakthrough!”

SCOAN Sunday Service: Prophet TB Joshua

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet T.B. Joshua reinforced the message of faith, freedom and divine authority, praying for those experiencing pain, affliction, hardship and stagnation.

“That spirit that causes you pain, affliction, hardship, stagnation – right now, I command that spirit to pack, in the name of Jesus! Right now, open your lips, for the glory of God to be captured. Every spirit that is not planted by God – I command you to leave my people! Receive that authority that heals, delivers, blesses – receive, in the name of Jesus. Whatever hinders your miracle – give way, in the name of Jesus. I say be free, in the name of Jesus! Confess that affliction, that pain in your bone, blood, kidney, liver, wherever it is located. Right now, begin to confess your freedom. Confess your healing. Enjoy your healing.”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua subsequently encouraged the congregation to declare their commitment to God’s glory, saying, “I am captured for the glory of God. When God heals you, you are free forever!”

SCOAN Sunday Service: The Grace

As Pastor Evelyn Joshua proclaimed the Grace in fellowship and pronounced God’s blessings over the congregation, the faithful were encouraged to remain steadfast in prayer and trust God through every season. The service ended with renewed assurance in His mercy and goodness.

The woman of God encouraged the congregation to guard their words and thoughts ahead of the new week, “May the goodness of God never depart from you. May His Word guide your thoughts, your words and your actions, and may your life continue to testify to His faithfulness, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ,” she declared.
