SCOAN Sunday Service (October 4, 2026): The Glory Of God

The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir

The SCOAN Choir

On Sunday, October 4, 2026, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) was filled with thanksgiving, worship, and expectation as believers gathered in The Arena of Liberty to exalt the name of the Lord Almighty.

On this first Sunday of October, in our Year Of Overflowing Joy, hearts were lifted in gratitude for God’s faithfulness and for the mighty works He continues to perform in the lives of His people.

The SCOAN Choir led the congregation into an intense atmosphere of worship, guiding hearts towards deeper communion with God. Songs of gratitude and adoration filled The Arena of Liberty as worshippers surrendered their worries, burdens and expectations before the Lord. “We Give You All The Glory/We Worship You Our Lord/You Are Worthy To Be Praised,” they sang.

The worship became an expression of thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness and a declaration of His worthiness. Hearts were lifted as the congregation joined their voices in praise, acknowledging the One whose power has no limit and whose goodness endures forever.

As worship continued, the gathering focused on the presence of God. Every voice, every lifted hand and every heart of thanksgiving pointed towards the same truth: there is nothing too hard for God, as the choir continued, “We’ll be Blessed/Because We Came/As We Gather/May We Glorify Your Name!”

GRACE FINDS AMAZING GRACE!

Here is her testimony:

Grace struggled with drug addiction, which she attributed to her ties with the marine kingdom. She recalled dreaming of swimming in a river and seeing snakes, eating in her dreams and having intercourse with strange men.

Whenever she woke from such dreams, she felt very sick and experienced setbacks in her life. The manifestation of what she believed was the evil spirit behind her problems began while she was at university, where she became involved in substance abuse.

A friend introduced her to crack cocaine, a substance that consumed her finances. Throughout this period, her parents were unaware of her addiction.

Grace became increasingly aggressive and violent. On one occasion, she attempted to stab her brother, while on another occasion, she and a friend spent one million naira on drugs. At times, she heard a voice telling her that she could never overcome the urge to use drugs.

The situation eventually became so desperate that Grace wrote a suicide note in preparation to take her own life. Her father encouraged her to come to The SCOAN for deliverance, but she repeatedly postponed the decision.

Grace Found Freedom In Christ

Her involvement with drugs also brought numerous setbacks to her career. During a visit to her father’s office, he counselled her once again to seek the face of God at The SCOAN.

When she eventually came to The SCOAN, God located her at the Prayer Line. As an evangelist prayed for her in the mighty name of Jesus, she testified that the evil spirit behind her problem left despite its violent resistance. In the end, the power of God prevailed over her life, setting her free from years of addiction.

Testifying on Sunday, October 4, Grace confirmed that her life is now calm and peaceful. The nightmares had stopped and she was no longer involved with drugs.

Her father also thanked God for her deliverance, recounting how her former wayward and reckless behaviour had brought disrepute to the family. He confirmed that his daughter had changed and no longer indulged in reckless behaviour.

She advised the people: “Stay away from bad company and draw closer to God.”

JESUS PUTS AWAY BOGA’S PAIN

Here is her testimony:

Boga came to The SCOAN with severe back and neck pain that caused considerable discomfort and affected her ability to work.

Despite medications prescribed by her doctors and several physiotherapy sessions, she experienced no relief.

On September 27, 2026, God located her at The SCOAN Prayer Line, where an evangelist ministered healing prayer to her in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Testifying on Sunday, October 4, Boga demonstrated her newfound fitness.

She advised the people: “To always trust God.”

SEVERE WAIST PAIN BOWS TO THE ANOINTING

Here is her testimony:

Two months earlier, Helen woke up with a sharp pain around her waist. What initially appeared to be a minor discomfort soon became worse, making it increasingly difficult for her to stand or bend.

Her business was also affected because she could no longer remain on her feet for long periods.

Determined to seek God’s face, Helen came to The SCOAN and proceeded to the Prayer Line, where she received instant healing after an evangelist laid an anointed hand on her in the mighty name of Jesus.

Testifying on Sunday, October 4, Helen demonstrated her freedom from the pain.

She advised the people: “Believe in the healing power of God.”

GOD SEVERS NKECHI’S TIES WITH A FAMILY IDOL

Here is her testimony:

Nkechi was born into an idol-worshipping family where all the children were dedicated to the family idol. Growing up, she experienced strange dreams in which she was chased by dogs and masquerades. She was also unable to pursue her education, spending much of her time drinking and engaging in reckless behaviour.

Eventually, Nkechi became pregnant and gave birth to a child, but her relationship with the child’s father later fell apart. Since then, her attempts to remarry had proved futile.

One day, while on her way to the farm, Nkechi encountered a large snake that appeared poised to attack her. She later consulted a spiritualist who told her that the family idol wanted her to worship it. He gave her certain instructions, but she refused to obey them.

Her struggles continued, and even her children, whom she had with different men, became afraid that she might die as she battled high blood pressure.

A neighbour later introduced Nkechi to Emmanuel TV. After seeing the wonderful works of God on the channel, she decided to come to The SCOAN for prayers. There, she received deliverance after an evangelist ministered prayer to her in the mighty name of Jesus.

As the power of God came upon her at the Prayer Line, she testified that the evil spirit she believed was responsible for her predicament was expelled.

She advised the people: “Parents always listen carefully to your children and draw them closer to God.”

THE BALM OF GILEAD WIPES OFF LOVELYN’S ULCER

Here is her testimony:

Lovelyn had been suffering from a severe leg ulcer that affected her ability to walk. The problem began after she bruised her leg. Initially, she thought it was a minor injury, particularly after receiving antibiotic injections. Five days later, however, the bruise developed into an opening that dripped blood and pus.

The condition worsened and began to decay. From hospital to hospital, the ulcer defied antibiotic medications. A hospital suggested electrolyte treatment, but instead of bringing relief, the procedure caused more discomfort to her leg.

Eventually, after a specialist was consulted, amputation was being considered. The thought of living with one leg brought tears to Lovelyn’s eyes as she felt her entire world collapsing before her.

In the midst of that dilemma, a friend told her about a place where impossible cases were being settled by God. That was how she was introduced to The SCOAN.

Her Healing Journey

An Uber driver eventually brought Lovelyn to the church. Although her leg felt extremely heavy, a sister from The SCOAN offered her Anointing Water, which she ministered to the affected area. The heaviness that had made it difficult for her to lift her leg disappeared.

Back in her hotel room, however, the pain in her leg became worse. She was later told that the ulcer was coming to an end, which was why the pain had intensified.

When she was eventually placed at the Prayer Line on October 12, 2025, Lovelyn had an unforgettable encounter as Pastor Evelyn Joshua laid an anointed hand on her. As the woman of God prayed, Lovelyn said a soothing breeze enveloped the atmosphere around her.

Upon returning to her hotel room, she slept and dreamt of Prophet T.B. Joshua ministering prayer to people. When she awoke, she noticed that the ulcer had begun to dry up. In a matter of weeks, the ulcer subsequently healed completely.

Her Joy Knew No Bound

Testifying on Sunday, October 4, 2026, amid uncontrollable tears of joy, Lovelyn thanked God for the uncommon transformation she experienced in The Arena of Liberty. She recounted that an ulcer which had been decaying and oozing foul-smelling pus and maggots had completely healed.

Overcome with emotion, Lovelyn encouraged people to look up to God, no matter how enormous their problems may seem.

She advised the people: “Hold firmly to God despite whatever they might be passing through.”

SCOAN Sunday Service: The Glory Of God

LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: The Glory Of God

Reading from James 1:17 and Revelation 4:11, Pastor Evelyn Joshua gave her sermon the title “The Glory Of God.” She reminded the congregation that the natural man cannot contend with the spiritual realm. “The man who walks in the natural is no match for satan.” She also warned against trying to impose personal timelines on God. “The moment you begin to give God timelines – that is the beginning of deception.”

Reflecting on James 1:17, she encouraged the people to consciously remember the things God has done in their lives. “James 1:17 asks you to make a list of what God has done in your life, ask where they come from and you will tell yourself who God is. Who God is does not change even when your opinion about Him changes. He is the Father, the Source of Light.”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua further encouraged believers not to run away from God because of trials, hardships or temptations. “You try to run away from God in order to escape trials, hardships, temptations but that is impossible. Let us continue to seek the Lord. Jesus will continue to make things new in our lives. God is good and there is none like Him.”

Clips from the Brazil Charity

She subsequently introduced clips from the charity outreach that followed The Crusade In Brazil 2026, drawing attention to the importance of making other people’s lives better.

The clips from the Brazil Charity echoed the words of Prophet T.B. Joshua:  “The beauty of life does not depend on how happy you are but on how happy others can be because of you.”

The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prayerline Session (October 4, 2026)

Pastor Evelyn Joshua

Pastor Evelyn Joshua joined the people for the Prayer Line ministration and assured them: “It is well with you; Jesus Christ has not said goodbye to us. Call the name ‘Jesus Christ’.” Proceeding in the name that is above every other name, the woman of God approached the Prayer Line with faith in the finished work on the Cross.

Those suffering under the weight of skin disease, leg ulcers, swollen body, leg injury, diabetes, asthma, prostate enlargement, difficulty in breathing, schizophrenia, stomach pain and other afflictions were brought before God in prayer. With the proclamation of the mighty name of Jesus upon their cases, instant testimonies of healing flooded the Prayer Line.

Among those who presented themselves were women expecting the fruit of the womb. By the power in the name of Jesus Christ, their afflictions of mind, body or spirit were brought before the Great Physician.

The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prayerline Session (October 4, 2026)

Others came with cases of goitre, kidney disease, urinary dysfunction, hernia, breast cancer, mental disorder, drug addiction and the spirit of lust. Whatever the condition, the people were encouraged to look to Jesus, who is more than able and willing to rescue them.

As the fire of the Holy Ghost moved mightily among the people, everything that did not glorify the name of God was brought under the authority of the name of Jesus. Indeed, prayer is the master key! Ministering alongside Pastor Evelyn Joshua, the SCOAN Evangelists commanded the anointing that breaks every yoke upon the people and set them free from all bondages, yokes and affliction, in the mighty name of Jesus. Indeed, there is power in the name of Jesus Christ!

SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (October 4, 2026)

Pastor Evelyn Joshua

As the Mass Prayer commenced, the woman of God urged the people to get ready to receive from God. “Fight against everything that stands between you and the promises of God,” she declared.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed, “Every veil of shame, stagnation, setback, over your home, business, be removed, in the name of Jesus. Every garment of frustration that the enemy has covered you with, be removed, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Every negative prophecy – Prophecy of death, frustration – against your life, be cancelled, in the name of Jesus! Receive the healing hand of God from every ancestral failure, in the name of Jesus!”

SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Evangelists

Evangelist Ope prayed, “Every spirit challenging your life, family, business – command them to give way. That spirit challenging your family, hear the voice of God. That spirit from your father’s house, mother’s house – Holy Ghost Fire!”

Evangelist Joseph prayed, “All familiar spirits, demons, messengers of satan, sent against me by the enemy of my soul – command them out, in the name of Jesus!”

Evangelist James prayed, “You demon, my body is not your temple, dwelling place – I command and order you – out. Whatever sickness that entered my body, knowingly or unknowingly, I command in the name of Jesus – be flushed out.”

Evangelist Chisom prayed, “That spirit frustrating your life, from your father’s side, mother’s side, frustrating your business, causing you poverty – command them out.”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for viewers, “Father, touch Your children for healing, breakthrough, deliverance, in the name of Jesus! Breakthrough in your life, business, family, health, in the name of Jesus. Seal yourself with the Blood of Jesus Christ. Be rescued, restored, in the name of Jesus!”

Prophet TB Joshua

In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed, “That spirit that keeps tormenting you, by giving you nightmares, that destroys families, businesses, destinies, begin to rebuke that spirit, witches and wizards. Every spirit that holds you down financially, spiritually, morally, or socially – lose your grip, in the name of Jesus! Affliction, wherever it is located in your system, I command you to be rebuked right now. Any unfavorable situation, whether in your family, career, business, marriage, or health, I command it to end, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I say good morning to your career, health, business, family, finances, marriage. It is a new dawn!”

Turning to the congregation, the woman of God prayed, “Father, favour Your children, in the name of Jesus!”

The Grace

The Grace

The service came to a close in an atmosphere of thanksgiving and renewed confidence in the faithfulness of God. From healing and deliverance to restoration and freedom, the testimonies shared throughout the service reminded the congregation that there is nothing too hard for the Lord.

Pastor Evelyn Joshua declared God’s grace upon the congregation as they looked forward to another day in God’s presence. “May the glory of God continue to shine through our lives, families, businesses and communities, and may our hearts remain anchored in His unfailing love. And may the Grace and peace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, abide with us!”
