Good Morning And Win Today!
The SCOAN Sunday Service of August 30, 2026, was a glorious conclusion to the month of August in the Year of Overflowing Joy, bringing together worshippers from Nigeria and around the world in thanksgiving, worship, prayer and expectation of God’s intervention.
As the last Sunday Service of the month, it provided an opportunity for the people to look back with gratitude at the many blessings they had received and the sustaining grace of God that had carried them thus far. Indeed, the congregation was reminded that the God who neither sleeps nor slumbers remains faithful in every season and will never forsake His children, regardless of the challenges confronting them.
The SCOAN Choir
The SCOAN Choir opened the service by leading the congregation into an atmosphere of thanksgiving and worship. As the people acknowledged God’s faithfulness, the choristers declared, “We Give You All The Glory, O Lord!” before leading the congregation in prayer. The people continued to exalt God with the declaration: “Lord, I’m Amazed By How You’ve Shown Me Mercy!”
The congregation was reminded to call upon the name of Yeshua, the Alpha and Omega, the One who was, and is, and is to come, casting every burden upon Him because He cares for them. As worship intensified, the atmosphere in The Arena of Liberty became saturated with praise and expectation, with the congregation declaring: “You Are The King Of Kings!”
Worshippers connecting from different parts of the world were encouraged to remember that distance is never a barrier to God’s presence and power. Whatever they had been trusting God for, they were urged to connect with Jesus through genuine worship, believing that in His presence there is healing, blessing, prosperity and freedom.
The people then celebrated the One who has never lost a battle: “Jehovah Is Your Name, Mighty Warrior, Great In Battle!”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Testimonies (August 30, 2026)
Holy Ghost Fire Razes Severe Leg Pain
Here is his testimony:
Samuel had suffered severe Leg pain for two years, a condition which began after a dream in which he encountered a demon.
The problem affected virtually every area of his life, including his ability to work and left him convinced that he needed divine intervention.
Believing that God alone could provide a solution, Samuel came to The SCOAN and proceeded to the Prayer Line, where he received anointed prayer from Pastor Evelyn Joshua.
He testified that the power of God immediately surged through his body, breaking the yoke of infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Testifying on Sunday, August 30, 2026, Samuel demonstrated his return to full fitness and encouraged the congregation: “With God, all things are possible.”
Knee Pain Gives Way to the Anointing
Here is her testimony:
Ifeyinwa had been weighed down by severe knee pain after she mistakenly missed her step and fell while returning home.
Although she received medical attention, the problem persisted and eventually developed into stiffness, making movement increasingly difficult.
Convinced that God alone could bring her the desired solution, she came to The SCOAN and received anointed prayer from an evangelist. To the glory of God, the pain and stiffness disappeared.
Thanking God for her healing on Sunday, August 30, 2026 Ifeyinwa encouraged the congregation: “Run to God whenever you are confronted by difficult situations.”
Double Healing for Toyin and Son
Here is their testimony:
Toyin came to The SCOAN with her son, who had been suffering from chest pain that made it difficult for him to sleep and consequently deprived his mother of good sleep.
Despite efforts to find a medical solution, the condition continued to affect the lives of both mother and child.
At the Prayer Line, the boy appeared with a placard displaying his condition and through the ministration of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Evelyn Joshua told Toyin that she also had the same problem as her son.
As the woman of God laid an anointed hand on mother and son, the power of God came upon them and dispelled the pain.
Testifying alongside her son on Sunday, August 30, 2026, Toyin confirmed that the chest pain they had both suffered was now a thing of the past, to the glory of God.
She advised the people: “Continue believing in God regardless of your situations.”
Jesus Rescues Sylvie from Family Idol
Here is her testimony:
Sylvie from Benin Republic had been troubled by recurring nightmares since childhood, frequently dreaming that she was swimming in a river.
When she asked her mother about the experiences, she was told that when she was in her mother’s womb, her mother had suffered repeated illnesses and had consulted different spiritualists.
As Sylvie grew older, a man who wanted to marry her was prevented from doing so because she was considered underage.
The man eventually died but continued appearing to her in her dreams and threatening that she would die if she did not marry him.
Later, a family friend proposed marriage to her and gave her an engagement ring which also served as a covenant.
After they were warned that her suitor could die if the relationship continued, they decided to part ways, but Sylvie noticed that whenever she removed the ring, her anger problem returned.
Her Day Of Deliverance
Confused by the events surrounding her life, Sylvie met a friend who introduced her to Emmanuel TV. After witnessing the power of God displayed through the medium, she concluded that she needed deliverance and came to The SCOAN.
Following prayer and the laying of an anointed hand by Pastor Evelyn Joshua, Sylvie received her deliverance. Testifying on Sunday, August 30, she said the nightmares and spirit of anger that had almost ruined her life had stopped.
Her mother confirmed the deliverance, recounting the family’s history of idol worship and expressing gratitude to God for severing what she described as the family’s link to idol worship.
She also recalled the sicknesses she endured as a young mother and how Sylvie had suffered from ulcer while growing up. Despite the battles with sickness, nightmares and anger, she thanked God that His power finally prevailed.
She advised the people: “Trust in God as the ultimate Way and source of peace.”
Spirit Husband Banished from Ijeoma’s Life
Here is their testimony:
According to Ijeoma, a spirit husband had troubled her and caused repeated disappointments in her relationships.
Men who sought her hand in marriage would often lose interest after meeting her family, prompting her mother to embark on several fact-finding missions. According to reports, a spirit husband was behind the problem, and the people involved advised her to make a sacrifice to resolve it.
Rather than follow the counsel of fetish persons, Ijeoma decided to seek God’s face at The SCOAN, where she received deliverance from the yoke of marriage embargo.
After Ijeoma married and conceived, another warning came that the spirit husband would not allow her to give birth.
Ijeoma received prayer for safe delivery from Pastor Evelyn Joshua, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and went ahead to deliver her baby safely.
Testifying on Sunday, August 30, alongside her husband and eight-month-old baby, Ijeoma thanked God for delivering her from the problem and blessing her with the fruit of the womb.
Her husband also expressed gratitude to God for his wife’s deliverance.
They advised the people: “Come to God whenever you are in trouble.”

Stay Calm
Evangelist Shina took to the altar to minister God’s Word under the title “Stay Calm,” with Romans 5:1 as his proof text. He began by drawing attention to the reality that adversity is an unavoidable part of human experience, noting that situations and individuals constantly challenge what people believe.
The issue, he explained, is therefore not simply whether adversity will come but how believers perceive it and more importantly, how they respond when it arrives.
“We are always surrounded by adversity, situations and people that challenge what we believe – people who are opposite in character, in approach, in appearance, in manner, in lifestyle.
The question now is, ‘How do you see your own situation of adversity? How do you see those who act, believe and live contrary to what you believe, contrary to God’s Word? How do you handle them?'”
Evangelist Shina recalled a teaching of Prophet T.B. Joshua that when people accept adversity and endure pain, they can learn what they need to know and allow their grief to turn to gain. He challenged believers to examine their attitude towards misfortune and difficulty, asking whether they are willing to endure, learn and grow through the experiences they encounter.
He explained that many people remain unable to move forward because they see adversity only as an enemy. Instead of looking beyond their difficulties and asking what those circumstances can teach them, they fear, hate and attempt to avoid them. Yet, adversity can provide the experiences required for growth, improvement and preparation for one’s divine destiny.
“Adversity equips us with the necessary tools to survive, to grow in steadfastness, perseverance and character. So, we must learn to not murmur or rebel in our hour of adversity.”
Ignore the noise of panic
He went on to remind the congregation that faithfulness to God does not guarantee a life without challenges. Scripture contains examples of people who feared God and nevertheless passed through seasons of intense adversity.
What distinguishes the believer is the assurance that when such challenges come, the Lord will see His people through. He further stressed that it is often not the adversity itself that causes people to fall but the way they react to it.
“In the midst of daily challenges, a true believer has to find enough calm to think clearly and react diligently. It is not our adversity, challenges, trials that make us fall; it is our reaction to them. While some of us yield to the pressure and make the wrong decisions, others have the same pressure but make the right decisions.”
Evangelist Shina encouraged believers to welcome challenges as opportunities for growth and to recognise that the difficulties confronting one person may be different from those confronting another. The important thing is to learn to see value in situations that appear insurmountable rather than allowing them to overwhelm one’s faith.
He urged the congregation to ignore the noise of panic and listen instead to good counsel, steady assurance and the voice of the Holy Spirit. He noted that the lives of Moses, Joseph, Daniel, the three Hebrew brothers, Paul, Peter and other biblical heroes demonstrate that adversity can be overcome and can become a pathway to divine greatness.
Concluding the message, he reminded the congregation that their response to adversity is also a testimony about their faith in Christ.
“Remember this: your response, behaviour, character, attitude will either draw people to Jesus Christ or drive them away. People of God, it is only our character that can testify to our confession of Jesus Christ.”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prayerline Session (August 30, 2026)
Pastor Evelyn Joshua
Joining the congregation in prayer, Pastor Evelyn Joshua thanked God for His faithfulness, promises and provisions, asking Him to fill The Arena of Liberty with His power and make it His dwelling place. She prayed for the Spirit of Revelation, asking God to open the eyes of the people to see more of His truth, open their hearts to receive it and give them the ability to apply His truth to their daily lives.
“Almighty God, with our hearts full of praise, we have come to You this morning. We praise You, Lord. Father, we ask You to fill this house with Your power, make this place Your dwelling place. Almighty God, we praise You because of Your promise that says that when we come You will reveal to us things that You alone know. And so we ask You this morning, O Lord, to fill this house with the Spirit of Revelation. Open our eyes to see more of Your truth, open our hearts to receive more of Your truth and give us the ability to apply this truth to our daily lives, in the name of Jesus Christ.”
The woman of God encouraged the congregation to become doers of God’s Word, saying, “May God make you doers of the Word, in Jesus’ name.” She further urged them to keep their focus on Christ Jesus and His sufficiency and to rebuke doubt and unbelief.
Prayer Line Ministration
Pastor Evelyn Joshua proceeded to the Prayer Line as the choir sang, “I Want To See You High And Lifted Up/Shining In The Light Of Your Glory!”
Standing on the authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the woman of God declared relief upon those who had come with various burdens of body, spirit and soul, while reminding the people of the faithfulness of God.
The SCOAN Evangelists joined her in ministering prayers of healing and deliverance, exposing the roots of various troubles through the Spirit of God. Among those who came forward were people dealing with piles, skin disease, swollen belly, leg ulcers, mental disorder, hernia, difficulty in walking, enlarged liver and ear problems.
The message encouraged the people to look to Jesus Christ in faith, trusting Him for intervention in every area of their lives.
Indeed, the evidence of Jesus Christ is lives changed! At the mention of the name JESUS, the people invoked the transformational power from Heaven against every stronghold, affliction, yoke and generational bondage, trusting God to usher them into a new era of freedom, peace and unlimited joy. Many received instant healing as God lifted the yokes and reversed the infirmities, in the mighty name of Jesus.
SCOAN Sunday Service Mass Prayer (August 30, 2026)
As the Mass Prayer commenced, Evangelist Joseph urged the congregation to welcome the Holy Spirit into their midst, reminding them that whatever situation was making them hopeless would surely bow to the power of God.
“What is that situation that is making you hopeless. Right now, say to that situation, ‘I have Jesus. I have the Holy Spirit. I have God'”
SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Evangelists
Evangelist Joseph prayed:
“Holy Spirit, come upon me. Let Your power of deliverance, liberation come upon me. Holy Spirit, Spirit of deliverance, liberation, come upon me; locate every darkness in my life, in the mighty name of Jesus! Every darkness, all messengers of satan, you demon hiding, Holy Ghost Fire!”
Evangelist Ope continued:
“That spirit of darkness operating in my life, anywhere you are, Holy Ghost Fire. That spirit of darkness operating in your life causing you pain, setback, disappointment, out, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist James declared holy war against infrimities:
“You spirit of sickness, disease, attacking my health, body, I command you, out, in the name of Jesus! That spirit of sickness attacking my body, health, I command you out, in the name of Jesus! Anywhere you are hiding in my body, I command you out, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist Chisom then prayed:
“That spirit of poverty, that spirit standing against your breakthrough, you spirit from my father’s side, from my mother’s side, I command you out, in the name of Jesus!”

Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for viewers connecting from different parts of the world:
“By the power of God, all that seems unmovable will be moved, in the mighty name of Jesus! I decree freedom upon your life, in the name of Jesus! God almighty will make a way for you today, in the name of Jesus. You will prosper in the name of Jesus. Be fruitful, in the name of Jesus.
What is that challenge that is confronting you today? God will continue to guide your steps, in the name of Jesus. Receive your freedom, breakthrough! Be healed from that trouble, affliction, in the name of Jesus! Everything that is in disagreement with the Word of God in your life, we overcome them today, in the name of Jesus!”
Prophet TB Joshua
A Mass Prayer video of Prophet T.B. Joshua followed, with the congregation joining in prayers for freedom from affliction, sickness, disease, nightmares, pain, setback and disappointment.
Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed:
“You demon, I order you to leave my people, in the mighty name of Jesus! I separate you from every pain, nightmare. Be delivered, in the name of Jesus! I separate you from that nightmare, in the mighty name of Jesus! I order and command every demon to leave you, in the name of Jesus!
Leave my people with all your affliction, setback, disappointment, in the name of Jesus! Demon, leave my people, in the name of Jesus!You sickness, disease, affliction in the blood, liver, kidneys, I command you out, in the name of Jesus! Inherited sickness in any part of my body, I command you out, in the name of Jesus! Affliction, disease in hidden places, I command you, leave my people. Begin to confess your freedom, in the name of Jesus!”
Pastor Evelyn Joshua concluded with a declaration of God’s goodness over every area of the people’s lives:
It is well with you. With your marriage, career, family, health, finances, it is well. Everything that concerns you, it is well with you, in the name of Jesus. It shall continue be well with you!
SCOAN Sunday Service: The Grace
As the final Sunday Service of August 2026 came to a close, Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged the congregation to carry the day’s sermon into every challenge and circumstance ahead.
Whatever adversity may arise, she encouraged them to remain steadfast, trusting in God’s unfailing presence and refusing to allow fear, doubt or discouragement to take control. “Let the Light of God’s glory continue to locate you, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ,” she declared.
