SCOAN Sunday Service (July 19, 2026): Faith Is A Reality, Not An Illusion

The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir

The SCOAN Sunday Service of July 19, 2026 was a gathering of worshippers from across Nigeria and around the world, united by one purpose: to worship the Almighty God and experience His saving, healing and delivering power.

Overflowing with gratitude for the gift of another day, the congregation lifted their hearts in thanksgiving to the Lord, whose mercy continually triumphs over human weakness and imperfection.

Before presenting their requests at the Throne of Grace, worshippers humbly sought God’s forgiveness, asking the Holy Spirit to search their hearts, guide their steps and empower them to live according to His perfect will.

Truly, grateful Christians refuse to allow present challenges to overshadow God’s enduring faithfulness, choosing instead to fix their eyes on the promises of God, who never fails those who trust in Him.

As the service commenced at The Arena Of Liberty, worshippers were united in one spirit of faith, believing that the God who answers prayer would once again move mightily in their lives.

Echoing the words of Psalm 95:1, the congregation lifted their voices in joyful praise to the Rock of their salvation, confident that no sincere prayer offered in faith goes unheard by Heaven.

The SCOAN Choir

The SCOAN Choir ushered worshippers into God’s glorious presence with songs that stirred every heart towards genuine communion with the Holy Spirit. As voices rose in heartfelt worship, the congregation declared: “It Is Me, O Lord, Standing In Need Of Prayer!”

The atmosphere became charged with the presence of the Holy Spirit as worshippers surrendered every burden to God, trusting that His anointing would reach every situation, irrespective of distance or circumstance.

Indeed, the people were reminded that whenever hearts are yielded to God in worship, miracles become inevitable.

Franca Defeats Lumbar Spondylosis

Here is her testimony:

For Franca, what began as a frightening dream soon became a painful physical reality. Diagnosed with lumbar spondylosis, she found walking increasingly difficult and depended on a lumbar corset to carry out even simple daily activities. Medical treatment brought little relief, leaving her condition unchanged.

Her situation, however, changed the moment she received prayer from Pastor Evelyn Joshua in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Returning during the Live Sunday Service of July 19, 2026, Franca demonstrated her complete healing before the congregation, glorifying God for restoring her strength.

Encouraging others facing impossible situations, she urged them to

She advised the people: “Run to God, for with Him nothing is impossible”.

Snake Spirit Expelled By The Anointing

Here is her testimony:

Nta’s life had long been overshadowed by ancestral idol worship. As a child, she mysteriously disappeared for twenty-one days, during which sacrifices were performed on her behalf. Unknown to her at the time, she had become deeply connected to family rituals inherited from previous generations.

Years later, terrifying manifestations began to occur. Whenever she failed to perform traditional sacrifices, a strange snake would physically appear in her home before mysteriously disappearing. Despite seeking help in different places, the disturbing encounters persisted, robbing her of peace after the death of her husband.

Directed to The SCOAN by a friend, Nta began ministering the Anointing Water while praying along with Emmanuel TV. Gradually, the snake ceased appearing in her house. She received her deliverance at the Prayer Line, after a SCOAN evangelist ministered prayer to her in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, every ancestral bondage was destroyed.

Sharing her testimony before the congregation, Nta thanked God not only for her deliverance but also for healing her from difficulty in standing.

She advised the people: “encouraged everyone to attend a living church and place their trust completely in God”.

Here is her testimony:

Holding firmly to God’s promises, she came to The SCOAN with her husband and received prayer in the name of Jesus Christ through a SCOAN evangelist.

To the glory of God, the Lord intervened, granting her a safe delivery.

Returning with hearts full of gratitude, Goodness and her husband testified that unwavering faith in God had carried them through the difficult season.

Spirit Husband Sent Packing

Here is her testimony:

From childhood, Maureen experienced disturbing dreams of swimming in rivers, being chased by masquerades and falling into deep pits. As she grew older, family history revealed generations marked by barrenness, miscarriages, failed marriages and untimely deaths.

Although she eventually married and relocated to the United Kingdom, spiritual attacks continued through repeated encounters with a spirit husband. The attacks affected her health, finances and family life, leading to repeated miscarriages.

After discovering Emmanuel TV through YouTube, Maureen and her husband began praying in faith. Eventually, she visited The SCOAN, where an evangelist ministered deliverance prayer to her on July 12, 2026.

Since that encounter, peace has returned to her life. She also received healing from high blood pressure and a swollen hand.

Overflowing with gratitude, she declared, “I feel so light and can sleep very well now,”

She advised the people:“Never to stop seeking God in times of trouble”.

Safe Delivery Enabled By The Anointing

Here is her testimony:

After being diagnosed with a blocked fallopian tube, Eberechi refused to accept defeat. Standing firmly on God’s promises, she visited The SCOAN and received prayer from a SCOAN Evangelist. That very month, she conceived.

During pregnancy, she encountered several challenges, including premature labour pains and anaemia. Yet she continued to minister the Anointing Water and sought prayer through Emmanuel TV as well as from Pastor Evelyn Joshua. When labour eventually began, God’s intervention became evident. As her mother ministered the Anointing Water in faith, she safely delivered her baby.

Her mother also glorified God, recounting how the Lord had brought mother and baby safely through every challenge.

She advised the people: “Believing God for the fruit of the womb to remain steadfast in faith”.

Ancestral Spirit Expelled By Fire

Here is her testimony:

Jacqueline from the Republic of Benin endured a series of disturbing spiritual encounters that affected nearly every area of her life. Arthritis, strange voices, nightmares, marital challenges and terrifying manifestations convinced her that unseen forces were at work.

Her experiences included encounters with mysterious figures, recurring snake attacks and a frightening revelation from what claimed to be an ancestral spirit responsible for years of suffering.

Determined to find lasting freedom, Jacqueline travelled to Lagos with her husband and came to The SCOAN. She received her deliverance at the Prayer Line on July 12, as an evangelist ministered prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

She testified that as prayer was offered, she saw divine fire engulf her, destroying every evil bondage.

Since that encounter, the nightmares have ceased, peace has returned to her family and affection has been restored in her marriage.

They advised the people: “Seek God wholeheartedly, for only Christ gives lasting deliverance”.

SCOAN Sunday Service: Faith Is A Reality, Not An Illusion

LISTEN TO THE SERMON TITLED: Faith Is A Reality, Not An Illusion

With Jesus, The Effort is Lighter

Stepping onto the altar with words of encouragement, Evangelist Jemila urged the congregation to rejoice in Christ Jesus, reminding them that God’s Word is the only sure foundation in an uncertain world.

She made it clear from the outset that her assignment was not to offer false hope but to proclaim the unchanging truth of God’s Word through the grace of God upon Pastor Evelyn Joshua.

SCOAN Sunday Service: Faith Is A Reality, Not An Illusion

Announcing the title of her message, “Faith Is A Reality, Not An Illusion,” Evangelist Jemila took her proof text from John 16:33, where Jesus Christ declares: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

She observed that many believers mistakenly assume that accepting Jesus Christ guarantees a life free from difficulties. According to her, this misconception has left many Christians discouraged whenever trials arise.

“Many of us, when we first gave our hearts to Jesus thought that accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour would give us total immunity against the problems of life,” she explained. “We expected a reality with no sickness, no trouble and no hardship, forgetting that warfare is necessary for our victory.”

You Have A Role To Play

Emphasising that Jesus never promised a life without challenges, Evangelist Jemila reminded worshippers that Christianity does not remove believers from the realities of a fallen world. Rather, it gives them the grace to overcome those realities. Quoting Prophet T.B. Joshua, she declared: “Life is not a playground; it is a battlefield. And the sooner we understand this, the wiser we will be.”

Drawing attention to Matthew 11:28, she explained that when Jesus invites people to lay down their burdens, He is not promising a life without responsibility. Instead, He calls believers to surrender the unnecessary weight of fear, anxiety, anger and worry. She further illustrated this truth by explaining the biblical meaning of a yoke.

“Jesus does not offer you a life without effort; He offers you a yoke,” she said. “With Jesus, the effort is lighter, not because the weight has disappeared, but because you are no longer carrying it alone.”

SCOAN Sunday Service: Faith Is A Reality, Not An Illusion

Quoting once again from Prophet T.B. Joshua, Evangelist Jemila reminded the congregation: “It is not all up to you and certainly it is not all up to God. Our genuine willingness plus God’s ability brings about results.”  She warned believers never to envy the apparent peace offered by the world, describing it as temporary and fragile. True peace, she explained, comes only through Christ Jesus, whose peace remains steadfast regardless of external circumstances.

Satan, she added, disguises himself as an angel of light, offering counterfeit solutions that ultimately lead to bondage, whereas Jesus Christ freely offers healing, deliverance and salvation because He has already paid the ultimate price on the Cross.

Have Faith In God

Turning to the account of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in Daniel Chapter 3, Evangelist Jemila noted that faith did not prevent God’s servants from entering the fiery furnace. Rather, it changed the outcome completely because God Himself was with them in the fire.

SCOAN Sunday Service: Faith Is A Reality, Not An Illusion

“The fire that looks like it will consume you,” she declared, “is actually the furnace God is using to prepare you for a destiny the enemy cannot stop.”  She encouraged worshippers to emulate Noah’s unwavering obedience, anchoring their faith firmly upon God’s promises and exercising the authority Christ has given every believer.

Concluding, Evangelist Jemila charged the congregation with the words of Luke 10:19, reminding them that through Christ they possess authority over every power of darkness. “Take heart,” she concluded. “You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from a place of victory. Walk boldly because Emmanuel—God is with us.”

The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prayerline Session (July 19, 2026)

Pastor Evelyn Joshua At The Prayerline

The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prayerline Session (July 19, 2026)

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered prayer to those suffering from chronic leg ulcers, swollen legs, difficulty in walking, body swelling (oedema), ankle ulcers, breast lumps, piles, epilepsy, mental disorder, traumatic body injuries and other stubborn afflictions that had defied medical solutions. As the power of God flowed through His servant, many received healing, strength and restoration to the glory of God.  The Woman of God also ministered to expectant mothers, committing them and their unborn children into God’s hands and declaring safe pregnancies and safe deliveries in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Thereafter, the ministration continued with the SCOAN Evangelists as the Holy Spirit exposed the hidden roots behind many longstanding problems. Evil spirits responsible for affliction, stagnation, addiction, nightmares, spiritual attacks, family bondage and every form of satanic oppression were confronted and cast out in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Under the influence of the Holy Spirit, captives were set free as Jesus Christ demonstrated once again that His power knows no limitation of distance, nationality or circumstance. As healing, deliverance and restoration took place across The Arena Of Liberty, worshippers responded with songs of thanksgiving, glorifying God for His boundless mercy and reaffirming their confidence that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

In the Mass Prayer video, God’s servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua, proclaimed God’s authority over every situation: “Begin to rebuke that demon. The spirit of infirmity, I command you out! I command infirmity in your blood, tendons, bones – begin to command them out. Right now, I command the power of God to come down upon you. I speak to your business, finances, marriage, career. Right now, let the story change. Let the power of God come upon your career, finances, business and life in the name of Jesus! Let the history of your marriage, finances, career, business begin to change in the name of Jesus!”
