“Finish well.” That was the counsel to God’s people in The Synagogue during the sermon of August 3, 2025. In line with this charge, congregants had set aside quality time for worship, singing many songs of submission to the awesomeness of the Almighty while expressing penitence over their human imperfection. It was the first Sunday of August 2025 and the people refused to be distracted by worry or anxiety, declaring: “I Surrender All/All To Thee, My Blessed Saviour/I Surrender All!” To their Anchor that stands steadfast and sure, they paid unqualified obeisance knowing that divine love is perpetual. With the worship session coming to a crescendo, the power of the Living God filled the atmosphere as the people proclaimed: “You Are Worthy To Be Glorified, O Lord!”
Evangelist Chisom started the sermon with Hebrews 12:1, where Apostle Paul was encouraging the early Christians to run the race of salvation with perseverance, casting off hindrances and “the sin that so easily entangles”. Other citations for the message came from Ecclesiastes 7:8, Matthew 5:23-24, 2 Timothy 4:2 & 7, Galatians 5:7 and 1 Peter 5:8. He spoke about the uniqueness of each person’s race, which has a set time for its completion, hence the need for everyone to be ready. “If you are prepared to leave, then you are prepared to live,” he said, echoing God’s servant Prophet TB Joshua.
The preacher urged everyone to be mindful of how they start their race and how they end it, noting that believers should be more concerned about the positive impact of their race than about how long they spend on earth. “A man may finish early and yet be satisfied with living,” he observed, “but a wicked man is not satisfied, even with long life.” That being so, he invited congregants to check the state of their heart, ensuring to rid it of all offence and bitterness and not wait for a supposedly “more convenient day and time to forgive and receive forgiveness”.
Accordingly, the evangelist nudged the people to check that they have not gone off track and to make quick corrections if they have. According to him, “Self-examination brings awareness, awareness brings learning and learning brings correction.” He ended with the observation that persistent prayer is the most effective solution to the obstacles that test a believer’s faith and strengthen them for the Kingdom race. In his words: “The more the obstacles, the more you move closer to God. The more the distraction, the more focused you become in your race.”
At The Feet Of Jesus, They Received!
At the start of the Prayer Line ministration, Evangelist James spoke into the lives of the people, “God Almighty will give you the grace to finish well.” He shared words of encouragement from Pastor Evelyn Joshua and prayed with the testifiers.
Before proceeding to the Prayer Line, Evangelist James raised his face to Heaven: “Heavenly Father, Your people have come before You with various needs and wants, with different sicknesses and diseases. They have come to receive from You that which only You can give. They have come to You to do for them that which only You can give. Father, we ask that You grant them their desires, in Jesus’ name. We pray that You grant them healing, deliverance, in the name of Jesus. For Your glory, Lord, for Your honour, in Jesus’ name.”
At the feet of Jesus Christ, the people brought their ailments of body and mind. And one by one, the Master Surgeon healed them! Be it difficulty in walking, difficulty in breathing, partial paralysis, septic arthritis, osteoarthritis, asthma or drug addiction, power as of old was available to heal and restore the people.
As some of the women received prayer over their pregnancies, others received the anointing to break free from the afflictions of breast lumps and bleeding. Indeed, their steadfast look at the Crucified One was never in vain.
As The SCOAN Evangelists continued to stand on the believer’s authority, many more people witnessed God’s incredible power as they presented their petitions over difficulty in urinating, chronic kidney disease, prostate cancer, brain injury, partial stroke, swollen belly, mental disorder, ankle ulcer, foot tumour, and numerous other issues.
True to God’s Word in Psalm 34:4, the people sought the Lord and He answered them, delivering them from all their fears as The SCOAN Evangelists laid anointed hands on those who had come from all over the world.
“The yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing,” says God’s Word at Isaiah 10:27. This bit of Scripture was fulfilled in the lives of those at the One-On-One session.
The Lord Touched Their Case Files
When the Mass Prayer session started, Evangelist Ope asked, “How many reasons do you have to say, ‘Thank You, Jesus’?” He asked them to thank the Lord for every moment of His attention.
Evangelist Ope charged the people to pray: “Have mercy on me and show me Your mercy. Let Your mercy speak for me. In Your mercy there is healing, deliverance and restoration. Thou Son of David, Let Your favour locate me. Touch my case file. Thou Son of David, by Your divine mercy and favour, every spirit troubling my peace, career, from the father’s side and the mother’s side, anywhere they are: Holy Ghost fire!”
Taking over, Evangelist James told the people: “That unclean spirit oppressing my life, family, the cause of pain, demons, familiar spirit – command them out in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist Chisom told the people: “That spirit that causes you sickness, disease, affliction – command it out by the Blood of Jesus. Speak to that sickness, disease: My body is not your dwelling and resting place.” He prayed: “Be it in your organs – by the power in the name of Jesus, be flushed out!”
On his part, Evangelist Joseph prayed: “All demonic strongholds holding down your destiny, career, breakthrough, finance, family, business – anywhere they are limiting you, keeping you in bondage, shame, disgrace – Holy Ghost Fire! All knees shall bow!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua proclaimed: “I release you from that spirit, in the name of Jesus! Right now, begin to release yourself from that spirit.” He charged the people to declare: “I will be set aside for God’s anointing, glory, goodness. This is my time to be set aside, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.” God’s servant declared: “The right hand of God is power. Be delivered! You familiar spirit, I say to you – out in the name of Jesus!”
The man of God continued: “Begin to destroy every wall of Jericho in your life, career. It is God’s promise to restore you. Whatever wall between you and your blessings – begin to remove the barricade. Whatever situation you are in – be delivered, in the name of Jesus. Every dry bone in your blood, tendons – receive life! Be revived, in the name of Jesus! Whatever factor, issue that challenges your faith – be it sickness, hardship, worry – be delivered, in the name of Jesus!”
Hope For The Youth
Following The SCOAN Youth Convention 2025, under the auspices of The TB Joshua Foundation, over thirty young people became beneficiaries of a grant of 14 million naira comprising educational scholarships and awards to small businesses. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Foundation and promised to utilise the funds effectively.

Grandmother Taibat Finds Her Feet Again!
Fifty-nine-year-old Taibat had been suffering from difficulty in walking for years. “I went to different places for a solution but nothing came out of it,” she told the church on August 3, 2025. After being informed by an in-law about God’s power in The SCOAN, she had come for prayer as Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered on July 27, 2025. On getting up, she had exclaimed in gratitude, “I’m healed now – thank You, Jesus!” She advised others to take their issues to God.
Melvis Breaks Free From Alcohol Addiction
Melvis from Cameroon, a fashion model, was in The Arena Of Liberty on July 27, 2025. For years, he had been battling with drug addiction. “I come from an idol-worshipping background,” he opened on August 3, 2025. He said that the idols of his father’s household had afflicted him with the urge for alcohol and other vices, causing him to go downhill in his career. He had even moved out of Cameroon in the bid to escape his problems. “But nothing changed where I moved to,” he admitted. Since receiving the prayer of deliverance, however, Melvis has stopped eating or smoking in the dream. “I also stopped getting intimate with strange women in the dream,” he said, telling about his dream victories. In real life, he has also parted ways with alcohol. He advised others to rely on God’s grace.
And God’s Finger Stayed On Ejiro’s Pregnancy!
During her second pregnancy, Ejiro had faced some difficulties that caused her some fears. “But I decided to take those fears to God,” she quickly informed her listeners on August 3, 2025. And so, she had come for prayer in The SCOAN, where Pastor Evelyn Joshua declared ease of delivery upon her. She had gone home with the Anointing Water, ministering it prayerfully. “I didn’t bother that the doctor was insisting I would go under the knife,” she recalled. On her delivery date, Ejiro went to the delivery room and had her rather huge baby within minutes. “I didn’t need surgery but the devil continued to test my faith,” she said, “and caused me to bleed for some time.” In the end, the Lord took control of her situation and Ejiro went home hale and hearty. “Believe in God,” she advised others.
Esther Breaks Ties With Marine Kingdom!
When she was five years old, Esther had left the school for the stream to drink water. “There I saw a masquerade that tried to attack me but it had my grandmother to contend with first,” she told the church on August 3, 2025. In later years it became clear to her that she was being bothered by diabolical agents that had afflicted her with the spirit of anger. She had serious issues with her husband and work colleagues. “I was always quarrelling with my husband,” she said, “and didn’t care about how I related to people at work.” Realising that she needed spiritual help, Esther had come to The SCOAN for the prayer of deliverance, during which the spirit in her manifested.
Since that day, she has been free from all encumbrances from the spirit realm. She advised others to stick with God and to look for God-fearing partners. Her husband Gabriel confirmed the testimony and told of how things had changed for him since praying in The SCOAN in 2014. He said he had been inspired to bring his wife to The SCOAN after witnessing God’s power in his life. He advised others to act in faith, persevering while praying. Esther thanked her husband for being patient with her and letting God guide him.
Despite Tubal Blockage, Kemi Falls Pregnant Again!
On April 6, 2025, pregnant Kemi was in The SCOAN for prayer over her pregnancy. She had been having issues with one of her fallopian tubes. “I had brought the case to God in The SCOAN and received assurance that all would be well,” she said on August 3, 2025, at the start of her testimony. Despite the blocked tube, however, Kemi had fallen pregnant and had seen the grace of God work for her throughout the pregnancy. “Continue to rely on God for help,” she advised others. Her husband Henry also glorified God for the testimony.
Helen Receives Exceptional Career Breakthrough!
Helen, a Ugandan Emmanuel TV viewer living in Spain, had been facing serious problems in her country of residence. “From the first house to the fifth one, we faced ejection every single time as we couldn’t cope with payment,” she told the church on August 3, 2025. Her mother then advised her to seek God’s face in The SCOAN. Eventually, Helen did so and the Lord blessed her with a better life. But the devil placed obstacles in her way, causing her to lose all her personal documents at a mall. “It caused me so much frustration,” she said. She filed complaints with the police and waited prayerfully for a positive response. Miraculously, the bag containing the documents was returned intact to the police. “The police said they were shocked because the thief had been on their wanted list for years,” Helen said. Helen has also continued to receive favour in her career, with multiple travel grants to international events. She was also recently selected for a Spanish ambassadorial role in the European Union. “I just couldn’t keep the blessings to myself,” she gushed. “Keep praying along with God’s servants in faith,” she advised others.
Janet Joins League Of The Favoured!
It was on July 20, 2025 that Janet parted ways with diabolical forces. “In my family, people hardly got married properly,” she began on August 3, 2025. “In my case, I had issues with education and had to write my senior secondary school examination multiple times,” she continued. She said she had continued to face disappointments in many areas of life. “People didn’t like me in the neighbourhood,” she said, “and my relationships kept ending without any concrete reason.” Heartbroken, Janet shared her issues with a relative, who took her to a witch doctor.
“He gave me different soaps to bathe with on certain days of the week,” she disclosed. Having been to The SCOAN with her mother previously, Janet had reluctantly agreed to visit the native doctor. However, realising that the soaps hadn’t worked, Janet decided to return to The SCOAN for the prayer of deliverance. Since her deliverance, she has been receiving calls from those who had ignored her earlier. “I was promoted to the position of manager just last week,” she smiled. Now she no longer has nightmares and sleeps peacefully. She advised others to keep their focus and to believe in God.
After-Service Testimony
Juliet from Zambia had been experiencing a sharp pain in her stomach. During the Mass Prayer session, the power of God fell upon her, neutralising every cause of pain in her stomach. “Now I feel free because all the pain has gone,” she declared.
