Do you realise that you are a blessing in and to this world – a blessing whether to one person, your family, your community, your country or the world at large? Have you identified your calling – that service for which God has made you a blessing? Well, discovering your purpose begins with praising God and seeking His face always. For congregants in The SCOAN on April 27, 2025, worshipping the Almighty was how they started their day. And they did so in an atmosphere charged with faith-inspired expectations from the Throne Of Grace.
As the people’s voices ascended to Heaven, the Lord sent down His angels to cause a stirring of the waters of healing, deliverance and breakthrough. Being people of wisdom, however, they understood that their focus was not to be the blessings themselves but the Blessing Provider. As the anointing caused pleasant perturbations in The Arena Of Liberty, congregants lifted up their voices, asking: “Who Is Like Unto Thee, O Lord?”
A Sermon On Fulfilling Purpose
Reading from Genesis 1:26-28 and Psalm 139:14, Evangelist Chisom shared a word of exhortation entitled “You Are A Blessing”. He reminded the people that they were no accidents of creation but vessels of blessing with various purposes. “Whatever area you are blessed with – that is what the Lord will use to bless others through you,” he said. But he also quickly noted the need for everyone to identify what God has blessed them with.
The preacher identified four kinds of people regarding what they do to others – those who add, those who subtract, those who multiply, and those who divide. He stressed the importance of examining one’s life in order to discover where one belongs. “How are you using what the Lord has blessed you with to impact the lives of those with you?” he probed. According to him, nothing could be too small to put in the service of others, as long as it is offered in sincerity of heart.
Evangelist Chisom counselled the people to emulate the Good Samaritan, who did not look away from the plight of a suffering victim. “As a vessel of God, you cannot look upon the sorrow, pain, hurt, injustice done to your neighbour and look the other way,” he stated. He therefore encouraged Christians not to be mere critics of the bad they see but to be examples of the good they wish to see. Further echoing Prophet TB Joshua, the evangelist’s words were quite memorable: “As Christians, do not treat people as bad as they are; treat them as good as you are.”
And Their Mess Became Testimonies
“It is another glorious morning in His presence,” said Pastor Evelyn Joshua at the start of the Prayer Line ministration.
The woman of God prayed: “Father, we bless Your holy name. We love You. We adore You. Almighty God, we thank You that You hear us whenever we call You. Father Lord God Almighty, we ask You this morning to help us, to stand on the everlasting promise that we have in You.
Father, show us how to resist the enemies and their plans of destruction in our lives. O Lord God Almighty, open the floodgate of Heaven and let Your mercy, reign of favour, reign of grace fall afresh on us today, in the name of Jesus Christ! Father, turn every mess in our lives to testimonies. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray! We thank You because we know it is done!”
God’s Special Daughter Affirms Her Decision
“I Have Decided To Follow Jesus,” sang Pastor Evelyn Joshua as she acknowledged Christ’s power. “Our joy is to honour Him in everything we do,” she added.
Following this affirmation by the woman of God, God’s Spirit started to work mightily in the midst of the people, with the power of Resurrection falling upon difficulty in walking, fracture of the wrist, neck stiffness, asthma, swollen belly, alcohol/smoking addiction, lung infection, and prostate enlargement.
Those with fibroids, breech presentation and overdue pregnancy also received attention from the Master Surgeon, Jesus Christ, who put His mark of protection and favour upon them.
As Pastor Evelyn Joshua and the evangelists moved among other people on the Prayer Line, the Risen King accompanied them, setting the captive free and granting every request in the faith-filled heart.
Marching with divine authority, God’s servants continued to stretch forth their hands in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
Finally, in the One-on-One session, every stubborn demon bowed to the supreme authority of Jesus Christ!
Their Day Of Full Pardon
At the start of the Mass Prayer session, Pastor Evelyn Joshua told the people: “Prepare for an encounter with Christ Jesus – an encounter of freedom, peace and goodness.”
She declared upon the people: “Begin to receive an abundance of His peace, goodness, favour, grace! Receive the fullness of His joy, grace, mercy, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be healed from that pain, that discomfort, that affliction, that disease, in the name of Jesus! Be freed from every deep hurt, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
The woman of God continued to pray: “May your needs be supplied today, in the name of Jesus Christ! May your full pardon be granted today, in the name of Jesus! Because there is the mark of Christ in your life, every raging storm that rises against you shall not succeed, in the name of Jesus! Freedom in your life, way, business, marriage, finances, business, job! Be freed from every shackle, from every bondage!”
Turning to the viewers, Pastor Evelyn Joshua asked the people to proclaim: “Father Lord, sanctify my hand, for Your Right Hand is power.” She prayed for them: “Be healed from that heartache, that affliction, that disease, that trouble! Be healed, in the name of Jesus! We declare healing into your body, soul, spirit, in the name of Jesus!
We command every raging storm in your life today to be still! We command light into every darkness in your life today, in the name of Jesus! Begin to overcome every trial, every temptation in your life today, in the name of Jesus! Father, bring Your promises to pass in our lives today, in the name of Jesus! Almighty God, be Your children’s Mouthpiece, in the name of Jesus Christ!”
Evangelist Chisom prayed: “Those spirits standing against your breakthrough, healing, deliverance – anywhere they are: Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Next, Evangelist James asked the people to declare: “You familiar spirit, contrary spirit, family idol operating in my life – I command you: Out, in the name of Jesus!”
Evangelist Joseph charged the people to say: “You affliction, disease in my system – I command you, in the name of Jesus: Out! You sickness in my heart, you poison in my bones – I command you: Out!
For his own prayer point, Evangelist Ope charged the church to cry out: “You spirit fighting against my business, my career – anywhere you are: Out!”
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua told the people: “All spirits operating in your life – right now, begin to command them out!” He asked them to pray: “My career, health, marriage, future, challenges, situation – be delivered!”
God’s servant then decreed: “Whatever poison you may have eaten – right now, begin to push it out! I command healing, deliverance on you, in the name of Jesus! Be healed, be delivered, in the name of Jesus! Whatever sickness is in your bones, kidneys, liver, tissues – out, in the name of Jesus! I command deliverance on your career, in the name of Jesus! That affliction – leave, in the name of Jesus!”

No Longer Bound To Pain!
On Easter Sunday 2025, Vivian was all bandaged-up as she sat for prayer in The Arena Of Liberty. She had been facing the problem of difficulty in walking caused by arthritis. As the Resurrection power surged through her, Vivian started shaking until she fell off the chair. Minutes later, she stood up transformed for the glory of God. “It had all started one morning when I found myself unable to move,” she told the church on April 27. Before coming to The Synagogue, she had sought medical help at different places. “Even before Pastor Evelyn Joshua touched me, I could already feel God’s power all over my body,” she recalled. Today, Vivian is rid of all pain and can move freely. “Now, my mother is healed and I am happy,” Vivian’s daughter said. Vivian urged others to keep their faith in God.
Elderly Woman Receives The Miraculous!
Sometime ago, 61-year-old Toyin had an accident while on a motorcycle. “A vehicle ran into us and climbed over my face,” she started her testimony on April 27, 2025. It was such a bad accident that Toyin bled endlessly. “Doctors tried so hard before they could stop the bleeding,” she recalled, even as she remembered being rejected by the first hospital to which she was taken. After being discharged, Toyin made her way to the church for prayer on January 5, 2025. “I felt a cool breeze blow through me as Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me,” she said. Months later, Toyin is free from all pain – for the glory of God! She advised others to believe in God. “He will see you through,” she added.
“Now I Can Walk, Run And Dance!”
On April 20, 2025, Rebecca was one of those who received a touch of healing as Pastor Evelyn Joshua ministered. “Following an accident, I started to experience chronic pain that required me to use a lumbar corset,” she told the church a week after. On discovering Emmanuel TV, Rebecca started to pray along with God’s servants on the channel. Since receiving prayer, she has seen her vitality restored. “Now I can walk, run and dance,” she declared. “Go to a living church,” she advised others.
Uzochukwu Returns To Play!
On February 16, 2025, Florence’s son Uzochukwu sat for prayer over the issue of arm dislocation, caused by the impact of a powerful football shot. The usually playful child had stayed inactive while the problem lasted. On receiving prayer, however, he had witnessed his pain vanish immediately. Demonstrating his healing with a somersault, Uzochukwu praised the name of the Lord, even as his mother advised others to take their cases to the Almighty.
Comfort Parts Ways With Family Idols
Comfort shared her testimony about deliverance from the spirit of family idolatry. Because the child before her had died shortly after birth, it was assumed that Comfort was a reincarnated child. To ensure she didn’t return to the afterworld too soon, her parents took her through days of torture in a ritual that was meant to make her stay on earth. “Throughout my growing-up years, I kept facing different issues, alongside my family members,” she told the church on April 27, 2025.
Before she could find a husband, Comfort had sought God’s face at The SCOAN sometime in 2016. With God’s Help, Rachael Retraces Her Steps!
For years, Rachael had been a victim of evil attacks during sleep. She also used to see herself naked in dreams. “I got afflicted by the spirit of lust in my final year at the university,” she said on April 27, 2025. A twin, Rachel hid things from her sibling and other family members. “I disliked my father even though he had only been trying to correct me,” Rachael said, admitting she had left home just to avoid her parents. For some reason, however, she had agreed to return home and attend The SCOAN Three-Day Revival Meeting.
Following a touch sanctioned by Heaven, Rachael fell under the power of the anointing – and her deliverance happened! Today, she has realised the error of her ways and returned to the embrace of Jesus Christ. “Listen to your parents,” she advised other youths. Her twin, Elizabeth, narrated her part in the restoration, stating, “She is now calm.” Elizabeth counselled the youths: “Stay close to God.” Their father told of how he had prayerfully intervened in the matter. “I am happy that my daughter has been restored – she is calm now,” he said. Quoting Psalm 34:19-20, he urged parents to keep the focus on God.

A fire outbreak had engulfed Elizabeth’s house, ruining her property and making her destitute. Seeking divine help, she ran to The SCOAN for prayer. For the glory of God, everything she lost in the fire was restored in multiples. She now enjoys a thriving business and lives in her own house. “Remain focused and believe in God; there is nothing He cannot do,” she advised.
