The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Choir
For the great blessing of yet another day, i.e. the last Sunday of September 2025, congregants devoted considerable time to hailing Yahweh in many tongues.
Wanting divine grace to continue in their lives, they acknowledged the Lord for all that He had already done and asked for the help of the Holy Spirit in staying away from sin. “Welcome To Our Hearts, O Holy Spirit!” they sang.
In another song, they declared that nothing could ever compare to the Lord: “There’s Nothing Worth More/That Will Ever Come Close/Nothing Can Compare/You’re Our Living Hope!”
They equally confessed their powerlessness, singing: “We Have No Power Of Our Own/Holy Spirit, We Look Upon You!”
And as the fire of worship heated up the auditorium and the overflow section, many fell under the power of the yoke-breaking anointing.

Miraculous Healing For Grace And Nephew!
My body gradually started losing vitality. It particularly affected my ability to walk. I couldn’t do my normal chores at home, not to talk of going to my workplace.
I decided to visit The SCOAN on September 21. Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me and something left my body. From then on, I have been walking freely – for the glory of God.
Grace’s nephew Francis also Restored
Confirming the testimony, Grace’s nephew Francis thanked God for the healing.
He also told the story of how he himself had received healing after praying along with Prophet TB Joshua. “Instead of the eight weeks during which I was supposed to remain bound on the bed, I recovered in three weeks,” he said. “Distance is not a barrier,” he reminded others.
Have faith in God; seek Him in a living church.
Chidinma Receives In Faith!
For quite a while, I had been in and out of hospital for various reasons. Most recently, I had been bothered by severe waist pain, which prevented me from leading a normal life.
Before now, I was walking with a lot of discomfort.
A week earlier, I had been impacted by prayer from Pastor Evelyn Joshua. Today, I am in great health!
Only God can heal.
Alice Breaks Free From Ancestral Bondage!
On September 7, 2025, Alice was delivered from family idols.
I had grown up to see her family members getting stagnated. I wanted my own life to be different.
Much as I had tried to be different, however, I ended up being assailed by the demonic forces of my lineage.
To start with, I lost my first marriage, following constant illnesses that my then husband couldn’t bear.
Broken-hearted, I waited hopefully for better days. I got into another marriage but started having severely troubling nightmares. My business also started doing badly.
During one of those nightmares, I woke up to coughing blood, having seen a demon deposit something in me in that dream.
Subsequently, the coughing attack intensified, causing me to flee my home in fear. I believe the demon causing the problem was in the house so I reached out to The SCOAN for prayer.
I received the prayer of deliverance and got the Anointing Water, which I ministered in my home. Now the nightmares and illnesses are gone!

After Seven Miscarriages, Chizoba Finally Gets A Second Child!
I just want to thank God for making me a mother again.
On June 30, 2024, I had been in The SCOAN for prayer. I had had seven miscarriages since my last child in 2020.
A strange figure used to come to me in the dream, after which my pregnancy would fail.
I went home with the Anointing Water and started to minister it, promising God that I would testify of His goodness if I could bear another child.
To the glory of God, I did fall pregnant again and the Lord saw me through the pregnancy.
There wasn’t a single drop of blood throughout the nine months.
Today, Chizoba has seven-month-old Victory as evidence of God’s mighty power! Chizoba’s mother, Julie, confirmed the testimony and praised the God of Pastor Evelyn Joshua.
Christian Freed from Smoking Addiction and Health Challenges
I gained admission to the university and I joined a football-loving circle, but those people also enjoyed smoking.
After accepting an invitation to smoke something before a football match, I picked up the habit of smoking.
I couldn’t focus on my graphic design career, and I subsequently developed asthma. I was also disobedient to my mother, although I feared my police officer father.
Because of my health, I put a pause on smoking. After my health improved, however, I returned to the vice.
Soon, I started performing poorly in my football team. I couldn’t play for more than 20 minutes without running out of breath.
As I didn’t improve, I got dropped from the team.
I became depressed, but I didn’t want to open up about it.
Eventually, my father had a heart-to-heart talk with me after I graduated.
He invited me to The SCOAN and something left my body as Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me.
God has really done it telling of how I am now obedient to my mother. I have also lost the urge for smoking.
Youth take their parents’ counsel and parents keep praying for their children.
Ismail Breaks Free From A Troubled Past!
“I am an idol; I want to destroy him,” boasted the idol in Ismail during the deliverance session of the service of September 21, 2025.
My problem started in 1986. A strange woman appeared in my dream and took me under a tree, where I saw a lot of money. In that dream, the woman put some incisions on my body.
From then on, I started doing badly in my academics. At university, I joined bad company. I started smoking and doing many terrible things.
Despite my parents’ spirited efforts, I never changed. The demons running my life didn’t let go, afflicting me with the spirits of anger and irresponsibility. I once ignored an interview appointment and went to smoke at an open field.
My marriage also failed. After decades of an unsettled life, I made my way to The SCOAN for the prayer of deliverance. Since then, the evil bird that used to trouble my night has now stopped appearing to me.
I sleep peacefully now and I have been getting phone calls from people who had cut me off. Smoking now irritates me.
Run to God.
And The Lord Saves Harrison’s Leg!
On January 30, 2022, Harrison was in The SCOAN for prayer over an ulcerous wound that was threatening to condemn his right lower limb. The gaping hole on the shin of the leg had started as an itch sometime in 2019.
I was taken to different places but found no solution anywhere. At that time, I had declined several suggestions that I go for amputation. As a young man, I didn’t think I should let that happen to me.
On learning about the situation, my soldier brother advised me to seek divine help. We came to the Synagogue and God gave us rest.
After Pastor Evelyn Joshua prayed for me, I felt relief and my smelly wound started to heal. Today, I can use the leg perfectly.

The SCOAN Sunday Service Sermon: The Character of a True Believer
The woman of God started by asking, “Are you a believer?” According to her, many feel shame in talking about God, given that “everything about their mind is might and power.”
She reminded the church about the need to be ready for the good times and bad times in the Christian walk. Regarding the character of a true Christian, she noted the quality of wanting to know more about God and His ways. “To follow Jesus Christ is gain,” she said, citing Matthew 19:28-30.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua further stated that true Christians understand they are not in competition with anyone else. In her words, “Whatever race you are running that is not for the Kingdom of God or Eternal Life is a foolish competition.”
Accordingly, she described a true believer as someone whose life is worthy of emulation and whose true nature reflects on the outside. She also noted that true believers avoid deceit, malice, mischief and every form of untoward behaviour.
Finally, she observed that true believers inevitably benefit from God’s promises, as they never tolerate sin and unrighteousness in their own lives, hence their constant deliverance from trouble. Among the other passages cited for the sermon were Matthew 16:24, Psalm 91:1-8 and 1 Peter 2:1.
In closing the message, Pastor Evelyn Joshua cited Galatians 5:22 and then prayed for the people: “Christ will continue to deliver you out of trouble and in trouble. Amen.”

At the Prayer Line, Pastor Evelyn Joshua assured the people: “No matter how bad it looks today, God is aware and He will put a smile on your face again.”
Healing Session at The SCOAN Sunday Service
Among the people who had come for prayer were those suffering from asthma, prostate enlargement, loss of hearing, difficulty in urinating, addiction to alcohol, piles, and difficulty in walking due to various causes.
The woman of God also pronounced peace and calm upon cases of breech presentation, threatened abortion and other issues affecting pregnant women. Like those before them, the women had the assurance that Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today, and forever!
Joined by the evangelists, Pastor Evelyn Joshua pled the Blood Of Jesus Christ on cases of leg ulcers, mental disorder, Marfan Syndrome, uncontrollable muscle contractions, swollen belly, and diabetes, etc. At every mention of the name Jesus Christ, every knee surely bowed!
Laying Of Hands Session at The SCOAN Sunday Service
Further, across the auditorium, the irrepressible Spirit of God overshadowed the congregation as blessed hands were laid upon all.

The same anointed hands also expelled stubborn demons hiding in some of the people. As Isaiah 10:27 says, “And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing.”
SCOAN Women Of Grace Meeting 2025
On Friday, 26 September 2025, The SCOAN hosted the 2025 edition of the Women of Grace Meeting. It was a truly exciting time for all as the women of The Synagogue engaged in a variety of activities, including charity, sports, drama, and short lectures.

The SCOAN Sunday Service: The SCOAN Evangelists
“Today is your day of freedom, restoration, healing, blessings and divine restoration,” said Evangelist Ope when the Mass Prayer session started.
He urged the people to pray: “Thou Son of David, by Your divine mercy and favour, restore to me all that is required to make me happy again! Thou Son of David, by Your divine mercy and favour, all spirits frustrating my efforts, my family, my life – in the name of Jesus: Out!”
Evangelist Joseph prayed for all: “All principalities and powers standing against your breakthrough and health – anywhere you are: Out, by the fire of the Holy Ghost!”
Next, Evangelist James asked the church to say: “Every sickness, every disease that entered my body, knowingly or unknowingly, I declare in the name of Jesus: Out! You sickness tormenting my body, I command you in the name of Jesus: Out!”
Evangelist Chisom told the people to pray: “You spirit operating in my business, blocking my breakthrough – I command you by the authority in the name of Jesus: Out!”

Taking over, Pastor Evelyn Joshua urged congregants to declare, “Today is my encounter with Jesus Christ!”
The woman of God prayed: “Your life of immorality, life of disappointment – be broken, in the name of Jesus! May the promises of God for your life remain, in the name of Jesus! I command healing, blessings into your life, in the name of Jesus! Let there be light in your darkness, in the name of Jesus! Receive your deliverance, in the name of Jesus! Be restored! Your business, your job, your family – be restored, in the name of Jesus!”
The SCOAN Sunday Service: Prophet TB Joshua
In a Mass Prayer video, Prophet TB Joshua decreed: “I command all unclean spirits operating in your life – business, career, health, marriage – Out, in the name of Jesus! Affliction in the blood, kidneys, liver, bones – Out, in the name of Jesus! Whatever is hindering your deliverance – give way, in the name of Jesus!”
